- Cross's p.o.v -

I woke up, my mind was in a blur and memories of what happened was fizzy. The aching pain throughout my body caused me to stay down for a long time. I groaned in pain as I felt bandages around my body.

"C-Cross?" I heard Chara's voice which was as soft as a mouse near me.

I smiled and looked at Chara who also had a few bandages and was crying her eyes out. She hugged me suddenly which made me flinch slightly. "I-I thought you were gonna die! I thought we both were gonna die!!" She was crying and weeping.

I couldn't recall or remember what happened. But that didn't matter for me, at least Chara is safe.

"It's alright Chara, I'm fine..." I hugged her back.

"Cross! You're awake!" I heard Dream's voice. I felt a sudden feeling of rage in me but it vanished immediately after a while.

"Y-Yeah, what happened?" I asked. Dream then told me that Chara and I was attacked by the murder and they got my message. They came quickly and the murderer ran off before they could kill me and Chara. After that, they decided to bring me and Chara over to Dream's House to heal.

I paused as my mind was still trying to figure things out "I don't remember that even happening... I thought I found a white kitten and then that's all I could remember" I said.

Chara's eyes widened and then yelled "The kitten! I-It got stabbed a-and-" Her eyes started watering even more with tears. "I-I couldn't save it..."

I hugged Chara tightly "It's alright. It's alright..."

After that, Chara and I decided to get some rest and I decided to skip work. Dream didn't have work today and was just gonna stay in the house for awhile while Blue and Ink was doing some other things...

I felt like I was missing some info. All I remember was passing out and somebody keeping a secret from me. I sighed as I thought about it.

How did I forget a dramatic scene like this??

Nightmare's p.o.v

I was sitting in my home, a large dark castle.... I decided to find and get Cross this night this time. Something made me have a interest in him. He seems as if an old 'friend' of mine.

I can't remember, he just seemed so familiar to me...

I noticed Horror who was holding a decapitate head. I cringed at the sight a bit but then didn't care at the end. "Did you seriously end up killing another person just out of hunger?" I said as Horror smiled insanely and nodded his head.

I smiled too "Good" I stated as Horror then went off. I was so bored now...

The others had left to do whatever. Kill, torture, and cut up monsters and humans.

I smirked at the thought of Cross now. I could put him in the dungeons and get some information out of him. He must be important if I wrote down to 'capture' him

I stood up and looked at the time. It was almost time for me to go hunt some... 'Prey'

I opened a portal to that au and entered, the sky was dark purple and almost close to night. I was in Cross's room. I then jumped out the window he jumped out from and followed the trail of my goop he had left behind. I stopped at a house which I felt a disgusting positive aura around it.

Dream... My dear brother who I still have the urge to kill. I smiled insanely...
