- Cross's p.o.v - 

I woke up slightly, it was late already and I looked over to Chara who was sleeping next to me. I chuckled softly and got out of the bed, putting the blanket over her carefully. I then noticed my sword which was in the corner of the room. When was that there???

I picked up the sword, realizing I didn't have my case I decided to just put it in my inventory for later use. I went outside the room and went downstairs to investigate and see what Dream was doing. He wasn't there but he left a note which said.

'Went out to buy groceries, will be back in a few minutes'

I sighed and then put the note in my pocket. I looked around his house cause I was a bit curious to see what was in it. Nothing much...

His house was basically empty but had a couch, table, and T.V...

Come to think of it, I had never gone to Dream's house before. I just knew where it was and how it looked like. Wait, did I come to his house before??

"My memory is horrible" I groaned out and I exited the house to just get some fresh air. I sat under a tree as the sky was slowly starting to have stars in them. I was still kinda tired and still trying to remember what had happened... 

I could feel a bad vibe around the area for some odd reason as I stood up, getting ready to go back into the house. 

Suddenly a figure appeared in front of me, the same person who was wearing a black cloak I saw at the bus stop. "Uh... Hi there?" I said as I took a step back.

It was silent and then I noticed 4 things popping out from behind the person. I didn't know if I  was supposed to attack but I didn't recognize them and they possibly wanted to just speak to me. Like Blueberry said, Act before attacking.

"Uh... Do you need something?" I asked as the stranger.

There was an awkward silence and then he started laughing "Are you stupid or just blind right now?"

I shrugged "I am pretty stupid now and then but that doesn't mean I'm blind. Plus I just woke up." I said. "Also, who are you again? I don't seem like I know yo-"

Before I could finish, I was pinned on the tree that I was sitting under. "W-Wha?!"

I glared at the weird person, I tried to push them away but they were too strong. "Let me go please." I hissed.

"And if I don't?" The person mocked. "Then what will you do?"

At this point, I just knew this stranger wasn't gonna let me go. I kicked them away and then ran to the house, getting ready to take out my sword if they were to attack me.

As I entered my house I slammed the door closed and locked it. "There. That'll keep him out..."

I questioned why he attacked me. Why he sounded familiar, and why I feel like I knew him from somewhere.

"Weird, do I know him? We probably got into an argument once but I most likely forgot..."I said as I decided to go back to Chara to make sure they were alright.

As I entered the door, a huge wave of negativity hitted me. I quickly noticed a black figure, the same one with four tentacle-like things popping out from their back. Yet, they were holding Chara in a dangerous way. "LET GO OF THEM!" I screamed and took out my sword without thinking. Suddenly a tentacle-like spike popped out from the ground and smacked my sword away into the wall. 

I was surprised a second and then tried to grab my sword before anything else happened but before I could, a tentacle snatched it and the stranger was holding my sword with an insane smile. 

"I won't hurt'cha. Yet... If you cooperate I could make things a little less painful for you" The stranger said and I hissed at them. Fine, I guess I won't use a sword then, but I have a huge disadvantage...

I took a step back "Why should I listen to you?"

The stranger then placed my sword next to Chara's throat. My eyes widened as their crazy insane smile was seen under their cloaks. "Cause I can easily kill the thing you call valuable"

My mind was blank for a second, I didn't want them to hurt Chara. She was like a little sister to me... Yet I didn't want to follow the orders of that jerk. I was stressing out about what to do. That was until I remembered that Dream would come back soon. Yet I didn't want to drag Dream into this mess either. 

"C-Cross- Please r-run. D-Don't c-care about m-me!" I heard Chara scream and my soul felt like shattering. She was crying and was already in so much pain that I couldn't stand it.

"If I were to go with you would you leave Chara alone and never come back here again?" I asked the stranger who put the sword away from Chara's neck now. 

"Yes, I'll make sure that your Chara stays here and I won't come back here ever," The stranger said which made me smile with relief slightly. 

"Then I'll come with you, so please leave Chara alone," I said as the stranger put Chara down. Chara ran up to me and hugged me, crying.

I hugged her back, the stranger looked disgusted and a tentacle wrapped around my arm. I glared at the stranger and hissed slightly. "The deal was for you to come to me and I keep that stupid Chara here and run back to their home" The stranger said as I let go of Chara.

"You go back home Chara and listen to all my advice. I don't want you to get hurt..." I said as Chara was still crying. 

"Hurry up." I felt a forceful tug on my arm. I winced slightly as I felt another tentacle wrap around my body and picked me up. I looked over at Chara just wanting to say that I was sorry for leaving her behind until  I noticed something.

'My eyes widened in fear as I noticed the body of Chara on the floor laying in a pool of red as I heard a dark chuckle behind me'

"C-Chara?"
