- Cross's p.o.v-

I woke up with an aching pain throughout my body. My head felt as if it was hit with a hammer and my chest felt like a huge knife was just struck into it. My vision was in such a blur and the room I was in was so dark that I couldn't even see anything but bars which were right in front of me. My arms and legs were chained down and I couldn't even move that much. "Sh*tty chains" I cursed under my breath as I tried to regain my memory on what had happened. 

Remembering every detail I felt tears go down my cheeks slowly. How could he?? He killed a person who I'd call my little sister. How could he...

"Would you stop crying??? You've grown so soft Cross that it's disgusting." I flinched as I heard Chara's voice. 

"C-Chara?" I looked up to see a ghost-like figure.

"What? And no, I'm not that Chara you thought as a 'little sister" they hissed and my eyes widened slightly. They were right, they were clearly different by looks and personality. I narrowed my eyes and then looked away.

"Cross, I wake up after being unconscious just to see you crying like a total baby. And you've lost most of your memory. That basically means I lost all my memories too because of your stupidity" Chara hissed under her breath. 

"Who are you???" I questioned them, ignoring what they had said. 

"Great and you forgot about me too. Well then, let me inform you that I'm part of you right now." They said as I suddenly felt my soul get pulled out from my chest. "Our souls are connected right now so basically I can talk to you telepathically and you're the only one who could see me."

"W-What? How did that happen...?" I ask and they shrugged.

"You forgot all about me so of course, you forgot about our past. You basically forgot about everything." Chara said with a shrug and then I heard a loud clack. After that, Chara vanished and I noticed the black figure standing in front of the cell bars. 

My eyes widened as I realized who they were, I then tried darting forward, wanting to punch them but the chains held me back and caused me to fall onto the floor instead. "Ow..." I groaned and suddenly I felt something wrap around me and pick me up slightly. The chains on my arms and legs were unlocked and I was forced to look into the eyes of my kidnapper. 

"YOU JERK!" I screamed at them. Wanting them to just burn and die. 

My kidnapper, which's name is Nightmare, just chuckled darkly. "You really are stupid. Do you not realize the position you're in?"

I stayed silent, growling at Nightmare. I wanted to run away, get away from him, get back home and go back to my normal days again. "I don't care, I hate you! I hate you so much!" I felt tears going down my cheeks as I screamed at Nightmare. 

Nightmare gave me an annoyed look and suddenly I felt pain into both of my arms. A loud crack was heard and I was about to scream in pain but a tentacle gagged my mouth. "Shut. Up."

I was crying now and he hissed "You're gonna be here for a long time. If you continue to act stupid then I'll have to punish you every time okay? Breaking your arms is just a warning... Do you understand?" 

I didn't respond, not wanting to even look at my Kidnapper at all.

Suddenly I felt a growing pain in my leg. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" He yelled and I winced and nodded my head.

I was then dropped onto the floor with a loud thud, Chains were then attached to my arms and legs again as I heard Nightmare walk off. Grumbling about something.

"Wow, I never expected you to talk like that to Nightmare," Chara said as I laid on the floor motionless. My arms were broken and the pain was slowly becoming numb.

"O-Of c-course... h-he's-" 

"He's a jerk. I know but you seriously you should be careful. Nightmare has the shortest temper ever..." Chara hissed and then I just laid there. Tired of even trying to get up.

"C-Could... y-you h-help?" I asked and Chara gave a deep sigh.

"Look, I feel the same pain as you right now but you gotta deal with it. I've already felt so much more pain then this and you-"

Chara stopped talking and then floated up to the bars slightly. 

"W-What are y-you doing?" I asked as Chara looked through the bars. 

"Your sword is here, you can easily escape here once you get your sword. How? That's up to you. For now, just get some rest because you're gonna suffer a lot more pain then now you idiot" Chara said as she vanished. 

I didn't reply and just curled up into a ball, sobbing and weeping slightly because of the pain and knowing that I won't be able to get back home or ever go back to my friends yet. I still had a little bit of hope in me but that hope was hidden deep in the depths of my mind.

Nightmare's p.o.v

I walked to my room hissing slightly, I was annoyed by him. He's so idiotic to talk back about me and just seeing his face made me feel angered. I should've killed him on the spot but there was a part of me telling me not too.

I groaned in frustration as I passed by Dust without noticing them.

"Heya Nightmare, what's up with the angry look-" 

I accidentally attacked Dust but missed him by a few inches. I was pissed off and Dust clearly saw that and then walked off with a sigh "I'm going to see that person you caught. If you don't mind"

"Go ahead and do whatever sh*t. I'm too tired to even talk to you or him"

"But you're talking to me right now" I heard Dust mutter as he walked off. I was about to penetrate his arm for a second there but then I stopped and calmed down.

"Gosh dang it"
