Welcome and thank you for choosing to read my story 'Crown of Shadows' here on Wattpad. I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoy writing it!

This story was started for the Open Novella Contest and follows one of the fantasy prompts, which you can find here: https://www.wattpad.com/489781624-the-open-novella-contest-prompts. Even though it didn't end up winning, I still have a pretty clear idea of where it should be going, so I will still continue to write it!

The story centers around the Heirs of the Houses of Shadows and their task to defend the Crown and protect the people of Mithra from darkness. We follow them as an old enemy resurfaces and they learn the truth about their shared, bloody past. As age-old secrets unfold, they have to face a threat unlike any of them has ever seen and will have to trust each other beyond what their instincts tell them.

When I have the time I will give you more information about the different Houses of Shadows and the mythical world of Mithra. 

The story will contain blood, pain, and death. So, be warned!
