So I finally persuaded Katie to come to Hogsmeade – as for some reason she wasn't interested in going in the slightest – with Angelina, Alicia, Lee, George, Fred, and I.
It was a big group date, I suppose you could call it. But 'date' was definitely not the right word to use in front of Katie and Angelina.
The two girls now were spending hours preparing the four of us for our 'date'.
Angelina had dressed up in what I called You're-Going-To-Die-From-Hypothermia, also know as, she was wearing a long sleeved maroon colored dress that fell down to her knees. It was admittedly cute, but not appropriate for the freezing cold weather. It wasn't much better with black tights and black knee high boots. Then of course she put on a black leather jacket and acted like that was going to keep her warm.
"You're insane," I stated, rolling my eyes at her bizarre attire.
"I'm fabulous," Angelina laughed, twirling around so that her dress blew up with the air.
I laughed lightly with her, turning my attention to Alicia, who was just now walking out of the bathroom.
"See that's better," I stated, nodding approvingly at Alicia's black leggings, cream colored sweater, and brown boots.
"Katie, erm, it's better," I nodded, looking at her jeans, brown ankle boots, and green, short sleeved shirt.
"Well what about you then?" Angelina asked, pushing me into the bathroom.
Laughing, I changed into my dark blue skinny jeans, tight fitting grey sweater, and heeled, knee high, black boots.
"Cute," Angelina smiled, pulling me toward her and grabbing her wand.
"What are you doing?" I questioned.
"I don't have enough time to do it the muggle way," She stated, flicking her wand so that my dark brown hair fell in perfect curls.
She quickly did everyone else's hair before dragging us down to the common room, where Lee, George, and Fred were waiting.
"Are you girls ready?" George questioned, raising an eyebrow at Angelina.
"Yep!" Angelina exclaimed.
"You sure you're not going to freeze?" George asked her.
"Positive," Angelina stated, rolling her eyes playfully.
"Right then," Fred nodded, leading the way out of the common room.
"What all are we doing?" I questioned as we all walked down the corridor.
"Well, Lee, George, and I thought that we'd go with you to get some pranking supplies from Zonko's. Then we can go to Honeydukes to get some sweets. And we can go anywhere else you all need to go, then we'll go to The Three Broomsticks," Fred explained.
"Sounds good," everyone agreed, handing Filch our signed permission slips.
As we were all walking down to he small village, Alicia and I started slowing down until we were behind everyone else, and out of earshot.
"So what's going on with Fred?" she questioned.
"Nothing more than what's been going on," I frowned, watching as the boy we were talking about laughed with Lee over something I hadn't heard.
"Lee told me you two were alone in the common room a few weeks ago," Alicia stated.
"We had a moment, I suppose. Well, not even a moment honestly. It was more, I got lost in his eyes for a minute and then it got awkward and we went to bed," I sighed.
I watched with admiration as the white snow collected in Fred's flaming red hair. I admired everything about him. The way his hair was messy but attractive. The way his pale skin went so perfectly against my own tan skin. How his brown eyes shined with mischief. How his dimples appeared whenever he smiled at me. The kind of smile that just made me melt inside. Or the way his laugh seemed to echo in my ears like a beautiful melody. Or how his face was covered in freckles that made me want to just kiss every inch of his face.
"Scar, you've got it bad," Alicia laughed, snapping me out of my trance.
"Uh, sorry, what were you saying?" I questioned, blinking stupidly.
"Well I was talking about how George has been ogling Angelina. But it seems I was speaking of the wrong person. It looked like you were about to tackle Fred to the ground and suffocate him with your kisses," Alicia laughed while I blushed madly.
"Alicia! Stop it!" I exclaimed, shoving my face in my hands.
"Are you two coming?!" Katie called, waving us over.
"Yeah! One second!" Alicia called back before turning to me.
"Right. You need to lose the blush, and maybe we can touch you up a bit," Alicia stated.
"What?" I asked, watching her confusedly as she took her wand out.
"You could use some mascara, and maybe a slightly darker lip?" Alicia spoke to herself, flicking her wand.
"Don't give me darker lips! That's to noticeable!" I exclaimed.
"Oh calm down, it'll just look like you reapplied your lipstick," Alicia sighed, rolling her eyes at me.
Alicia looked me up and down before nodding in approval.
"You look great. Now let's go," Alicia said, taking my hand and pulling me into the small joke shop.
"There you are!" George exclaimed, grabbing my hand and pulling me where Fred and Lee were.
"We're trying to decide between Dungbombs and Nose-Biting Teacups or Frog Spawn Soap and Hiccup Sweets," Fred stated.
"Well, we're already getting the Stink Pellets, so let's hold off on the Dungbombs. Plus, I'm pretty sure I brought some Nose-Biting Teacups from home," I stated.
They all nodded and grabbed handfuls of the Frog Spawn Soap, Stink Pellets, and Hiccup Sweets.
"Honeydukes next?" Katie asked excitedly.
"Sure, Katie," Fred laughed, allowing her to lead the way to the small shop.
I sighed in content as we entered the sweet smelling store. Warmth consumed me as I exhaled the cold air from the outdoors.
"I love this place," I stated, walking over to the isles of candy.
"Agreed," Angelina smiled, following me over to the chocolate section.
"Chocoballs, Chocolate Frogs, Chocolate Cauldrons, Cockroach Clusters, Fudge Flies, Peppermint Toads, Treacle Fudge," I listed hungrily.
"How are we suppose to choose?!" Angelina groaned.
"Can't we just, you know, get them all?" I mumbled.
"You reckon we could afford it?" Angelina questioned.
"No," I sighed.
"Right, well, I'm going to get.......I'm going to get.....Merlin's beard what do I choose?!" Angelina cried, clutching Chocolate Cauldrons in her left hand and Treacle Fudge in her right.
"I don't know," I sobbed dramatically, hugging Cockroach Clusters, Fudge Flies, and Peppermint Toads to my chest.
"Are you girls alright?" Lee laughed as he walked by with Alicia.
"No! I don't know what to choose!" I exclaimed, falling to the ground with the chocolate still in my arms.
"I can get you those if you'd like?" Fred's voice asked from behind me.
Turning around, I found him with a box of Exploding Bonbons in his hand.
"You don't have to do that. Besides, they're probably expensive," I declined, pushing myself off the ground.
"Mum gave us all ten Galleons to spend, they can't be more than that," Fred shrugged.
"I'm just going to get the Cockroach Clusters, it's fine," I sighed, placing the Peppermint Toads back reluctantly, and hesitating to put the Fudge Flies back.
"Really? Cause you look like you're giving up your first born," Fred laughed, grabbing the Fudge Flies from my hand and walking to the cashier.
I heard a sigh from behind me.
"I'm so jealous," Angelina pouted.
I laughed at her before helping her off the floor.
"I just wish I could say he did that as more than just a friend," I muttered to her.
"Sorry, Scar," Angelina frowned at me.
I brushed it off and went to pay for the Cockroach Clusters.
"Where to now?" George questioned.
"I need a few quills if you don't mind?" Katie stated.
"I need some too actually. Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop then?" I asked.
"I actually was hoping to get some books, do you want to split up and meet at The Three Broomsticks?" Alicia stated.
"Sure," everyone agreed.

"Well hello. Fancy seeing you here," I stated as I bumped into George.
"There you are," George laughed, "we've got a booth over there in the corner."
Following his finger, I found everyone but Katie, George, and I waving us over.
George left to go order drinks, and Katie and I walked over to the booth.
Katie immediately sat down next to Alicia, who was sitting next to Lee. Leaving the other side of the booth with Angelina, a space with George's stuff, Fred, and then an empty space. Great.
Sliding in next to Fred, I made sure to leave at least an inch of space so that no contact was made.
"Did you all find what you needed?" Katie asked contently, oblivious to my discomfort.
"We did," Alicia nodded.
"Did you two?" Fred whispered to me.
I tensed up at his hoarse voice, annoyed by how oblivious he was to the impact he had on me.
"U-Uh, yeah," I nodded, gulping nervously.
"Hey, I brought drinks," George announced, setting down three jugs of Butterbeer. Rosmerta right behind him with the other four.
I immediately jumped up to allow George to slide into the booth. Breathing deeply in an attempt to relax myself before sliding back in next to the boy I loved.
"It's nice to have a day together," Katie sighed happily.
"It really is," George agreed.
"We need more days like this," I stated.
"We really do," Alicia nodded.
"It's so odd thinking we've all been together for five years," Angelina said.
"Um, excuse you, four years," Katie scoffed.
We all started laughing at her offended face.
"S-Sorry, Katie. I meant four," Angelina corrected herself through her laughter.
We all laughed some more until we were interrupted.
"We're supposed to be heading back to the castle soon," Hermione stated as she walked by with Ron.
"Thanks Hermione," I called.
We all drank our Butterbeer and talked until it was time to leave. We walked back up to the castle and up to the common room. But then we were stopped as we joined a crowd of Gryffindors next to the portrait of the Fat Lady. Or, well, what used to have the Fat Lady.
"Let me through, please," came Percy's voice, and he came bustling importantly through the crowd. "What's the holdup here? You can't all have forgotten the password – excuse me, I'm Head Boy–"
And then a silence fell over the crowd, from the front first, so that a chill seemed to spread down the corridor. We heard Percy say, in a suddenly sharp voice, "Somebody get Professor Dumbledore. Quick."
People's heads turned; those at the back were standing on tiptoes.
"What's going on?" said Ginny, who had just arrived.
A moment later, Professor Dumbledore was there, sweeping toward the portrait; the Gryffindors squeezed together to let him through.
Now that everyone had moved away, I could see the portrait perfectly. The Fat Lady had vanished from her portrait, which had been slashed so viciously that strips of canvas littered the floor; great chunks of it had been torn away completely.
Dumbledore took one quick look at the ruined painting and turned, his eyes somber, to see Professor McGonagall, Professor Lupin, Professor Snape, and Mum hurrying toward him.
"We need to find her," said Dumbledore. "Professor McGonagall, please go to Mr. Filch at once and tell him to search every painting in the castle for the Fat Lady."
"You'll be lucky!" said a cackling voice.
It was Peeves, bobbing over the crowd and looking delighted.
"What do you mean, Peeves?" said Dumbledore calmly, and Peeves's grin faded a little. He didn't dare taunt Dumbledore. Instead he adopted an oily voice that was no better than his cackle.
"Ashamed, Your Headship, sir. Doesn't want to be seen. She's a horrible mess. Saw her running through the landscape up on the fourth floor, sir, dodging between the trees. Crying something dreadful," he said happily. "Poor thing," he added unconvincingly.
"Did she say who did it?" said Dumbledore quietly.
"Oh yes, Professorhead," said Peeves, with the air of one cradling a large bombshell in his arms. "He got very angry when she wouldn't let him in, you see." Peeves flipped over and grinned at Dumbledore from between his own legs. "Nasty temper he's got, that Sirius Black."

I paled drastically, falling into Remus on accident.
"Hey, calm down," Remus whispered, holding me up.
"I can't calm down," I hissed, tears welling up in my eyes.
"Let's go down to your office so you can calm down," Remus said, leading me down to said office.
I allowed him to lead me, stumbling behind him as I let the tears fall. At last, we reached the office and Remus set me down on the couch I had been comforting Scarlett on not to long ago.
"It's okay, Claire," Remus mumbled, rubbing my back comfortingly.
"No it's not! What was he doing, Remus?! He's going to get himself locked up again!" I cried, burring my face in my hands.
"Clai-"
"Don't you start again, Remus! I know you don't believe he's innocent, but I know he's innocent, Remus Lupin!" I screamed, sobbing uncontrollably.
Remus only nodded.
"I don't know what he's doing, Claire. But Sirius has always been strong. And if he's innocent, than he is filled with love for you and Scarlett. And if I know anything about motivation, love is the strongest one," Remus stated.
I looked up at him with bloodshot eyes.
"If he's innocent like you say he's innocent, than I know one thing for sure. Sirius loves you, Claire."

I updated! I updated soon after my last one, and nothing bad happened! Well, except for the Fat Lady. But Sirius was mentioned! That's good in my book.
Haha, my book. You get it? Cause it's my book? Sorry, bad joke.
Anyway, chapterly (still not a word) question!
A question from Harry_potter_MODW
Is there gonna be a prequel?
My answer,
I don't really understand this question, as this is technically the sequel to Dancing In The Rain. Which makes Dancing In The Rain the prequel to this story. But if you were talking about Dancing In The Rain, or meant sequel, than no. Dancing In The Rain and Dancing In The Storm are the only two books in this series.
I hope that answered your question! And I hope you're all having a great day! I love you all! Bye!
