Chapter 19

~Scarlett~
It took a lot of convincing since Mum wanted me to spend time with Dad, but I was now able to stay with the Weasley's for a week!
Dad had said that they needed to sort out where we're going to be staying, so this was the perfect chance for them to do just that.
So now I was with Mum, walking up to the Burrow.
"You better behave," Mum said sternly as we waited for someone to answer the door.
"Mum, I'm not a child," I laughed.
"I know that, but sometimes you act like it," Mum stated.
"Rude!" I gasped, holding my hand to my chest.
"Merlin you are so much like your father," Mum sighed, rolling her eyes.
I grinned at her.
"Clairesse! Scarlett!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed as she appeared in the doorway.
"Hi Mrs. Weasley!" I smiled.
"Please, Dear, call me Molly," she smiled back.
Mum and I exchanged glances.
"Erm...okay. Thanks?" I replied hesitantly.
"Please, come in! The twins are outside practicing Quidditch. But Percy and Ginny are in the living room. Ron...is in his room I believe?" Molly explained, tapping her chin thoughtfully.
"Thanks...Molly," I smiled. "Do you know when Fred and George will be in?"
"They've been out for awhile, so soon I hope," Molly answered.
Molly moved out of the way so that I could go in. I turned to Mum, who was just starting to say goodbye when Molly spoke up again, "Why don't you come in for a bit, Clairesse?"
Mum grimaced before putting on a fake smile, "That's very kind of you. But I really must go."
"Oh....well I hope you can at least come for dinner sometime soon," Molly said.
"I look forward to it," Mum said through gritted teeth, but Molly didn't think twice on it.
"Well, have fun, Scar," Mum smiled.
"Thanks, Mum. Love you," I waved, hurrying off to see if I could catch Fred and George.
I could hear Mum and Molly laughing from behind me, but I shrugged it off and continued my search.
Going through the kitchen to get out back, I spotted Percy scribbling madly on a piece of parchment.
"Erm...hey Percy," I greeted, waving awkwardly.
He glanced up slightly before looking back down.
"Hello, Scarlett," he replied quietly.
"What are you working on?" I asked, bouncing on the balls of my feet.
I don't really care, but Percy already hates me as it is. So I thought I'd try.
"A project for the Ministry," Percy sighed, obviously annoyed by my presence.
"Well...I'll leave you to it then," I muttered, walking closer to the back.
I spotted Fred and George in the sky on their brooms, beating a bludger back and forth.
I smiled at the sight of Fred. He was so adorable.
"You so fancy him," A voice spoke from behind me.
I yelped in surprise, turning to find Ginny. She was sitting on the ground watching Fred and George.
"Merlin. I didn't see you there, Ginny," I breathed, clutching my hand to my chest.
"It's fine. But I still think you fancy my brother," Ginny stated.
"I-I don't," I blushed.
"Uh huh. So it's Fred then?" Ginny laughed.
My face felt like it was on fire.
"N-No! I-I don't know what you're talking about!" I squeaked.
"You are so easy," Ginny sighed, rolling her eyes.
"Okay fine, I like Fred," I admitted.
"We know," a voice laughed from behind me.
I whirled around, coming face to face with George.
"Don't worry, Fred's putting the brooms away," George reassured.
I sighed in relief, though my face still got warmer.
"Scarlett!" A voice exclaimed, picking me up off my feet.
"F-Fred!" I laughed nervously.
George and Ginny laughed as they watched us.
"I didn't know you were coming!" Fred stated.
"T-Thought I'd surprise you," I stuttered.
"Are you feeling alright?" Fred questioned, putting me back on my feet.
"Never better," I lied.
He gave me a suspicious look before nodding uncertainly.
"How long will you be staying?" George asked, saving me from complete embarrassment.
"Uh, just the week," I replied, running a hand through my hair.
"Brilliant!" Fred exclaimed. "You can help George and I with the sweets we're making."
I perked up at the mention of the sweets we had been planning to make for awhile now.
"We're doing that?!" I asked excitedly.
"Yeah," George piped in, "we already started, but we haven't been able to perfect anything yet. We'll need you for that."
I blushed lightly but nodded.
"Mum said you two won't be making anything," Ginny snapped.
"Ginny, does it look like we care?" George questioned.
Ginny glared and stomped off into the house.
"She is so much like Molly," I laughed.
"Molly?" George questioned.
"She told me to call her Molly when I came in. Odd, isn't it?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah. Just last summer she was telling us to stay away from you. What changed?" George wondered.
"I dunno," I lied. I knew why she was so much more calm around Mum and I. I just didn't like it.
Molly obviously knew that Sirius hadn't been seen in the area recently. So she trusted that I still didn't know about him, and that Mum was staying away.
"Well how about we go to our room and talk about the joke shop?" Fred suggested.
I nodded eagerly, a wide grin spreading across my face. "You know I do."
Fred led the way to their room – even though I knew exactly where it was – and held the door open for me.
"Ladies first," he grinned.
"Why thank you good sir," I giggled, walking in to the messy room.
There were two small beds, each against one of the back corners. There was a dresser against the wall by the door. Some of the drawers were peaking out, clothes piled on top of them. Papers covered the top of the dresser. Some of the papers had designs, some were order forms. One of the designs was a big 'W', another was one big 'W' with two smaller ones on each side.
There were a few more papers on the nightstands by the two beds. The one on the left – which I knew to be Fred's – had one paper on top. I gazed at it, reading the initials S.C.B. all over the paper. A few had small hearts around it.
My first thought was myself – as they were my initials – but there were probably a lot of girls with those initials.
Fred spotted me looking at it and snatched it, crumbling it into a ball and tossing it into the small trash bin they had by the door.
"So we've come up with a few. Like the Ton-Tongue Toffee," George stated.
"Ton-Tongue Toffee?" I questioned.
"Yeah. It basically makes your whole tongue swell," Fred grinned.
"Wicked," I breathed.
"Right?" George laughed.
"We haven't actually made it yet. But we figured it'd just needs a small Engorgement Charm," Fred stated.
"That seems like it'd work, actually. Good idea," I nodded.
Fred's cheeks tinted pink.
"It was all Fred's idea, really," George said.
"Well it's bloody brilliant," I laughed, smiling at the now red faced Fred.
"T-Thanks," Fred stuttered.
"We probably shouldn't do them now, since we're not supposed to do magic. But I reckon trying one wouldn't hurt," I shrugged.
Fred and George stared at me with shock before they both grinned.
"This is why I love you," Fred muttered under his breath, but loud enough for me to hear.
I could feel the heat rise to my face, but I brushed it off. He obviously meant like a friend.
"Do you have some sort of toffee?" I asked.
"Yeah. We bought some when Fred had the idea," George nodded, walking over to the dresser and grabbing a box.
Inside we're a bunch of neatly wrapped candies.
He handed me one of the toffees, stepping back to watch me.
I pulled my wand out, pointing it at the candy.
"Engorgio." A small light flashed from the wand, making the toffee glow for a second. When it finished I handed it to Fred.
(Editing this, I realize this doesn't make sense. But oh well.)
"Don't use it now, cause I don't know for sure the counter spell. But keep an eye out for a victim," I laughed.
"Dinner!" Molly called from downstairs.
"Good, I'm starving," George licked his lips, running down the stairs.
Fred and I followed, laughing at him as he hurtled into the dining room.
I found myself sat in between Fred and George. The most of dinner was small talk. Arthur – as I was insisted to call him – talked a lot of the Ministry, and asked how it was living in a Muggle house. I decided not to tell him that I was no longer living in a Muggle house, and instead told him about cars and television. I attempted to talk to Percy, but he hurried through his food and quickly went to work on his projects for the Minister. Ginny talked briefly to Ron about how much she enjoyed Quidditch.
But eventually Molly gave me the attention.
"So Scarlett, I can arrange for you to stay with Ginny, or you can take Charlie's old bedroom if you'd like?" Molly offered.
"Erm, actually. I thought, maybe, I could stay with Fred and George?" I stated.
Molly spluttered slightly.
"You'd like to stay with the boys?" Molly repeated.
"Uh...yes?" I replied warily.
"Where will you sleep?" Molly questioned.
"With us," George answered.
"With...you," Molly said slowly.
"Yeah," Fred joined.
"You want to sleep in a bed with Fred and George?" Ginny laughed.
"I don't mind," I shrugged.
In all honesty, I did kind of mind if it was Fred. But George was like a brother to me.
"Alright...erm.....that works...I guess?" Molly nodded.
"Great! We'll be off then," George stated, standing from his chair.
Fred and I followed his lead, going back up the stairs.
"I'm calling my own bed. You two can share the other," George laughed, jumping on his bed.
"Rude," I scoffed, but I was panicking in the inside.
"G'night!" George exclaimed, turning the lights out so that the room was pitch black.
"I haven't even changed yet!" I yelled.
"It's dark, no one can see you," George shrugged. Well at least I imagine he shrugged.
"No one better be watching me," I said firmly.
I felt around to find my bag and pulled out a pair of shorts.
Pulling my jeans off, I went to put my shorts on. But I interrupted myself by sighing.
"I can feel someone's bloody eyes on me," I sighed.
Both of them kept quiet.
I finished changing and felt around to find either Fred or his bed.
My hand finally hit something other than a wall or the dresser.
"Erm, Scar?" Fred's voice came in a whisper.
I could feel the blood rushing to my face as I pulled my hand back from his bare chest.
"I am so sorry, Fred," I squeaked.
"I-It's fine," Fred stuttered.
We eventually found the bed, the two of us trying to get comfortable in it. Which proved to be hard in the small twin sized bed.
Eventually I settled on just laying on my back. But this made me very aware of where I was.
A shirtless Fred was laying right next to me. The boy that I am in love with is laying in bed with me!
I could feel the heat in my cheeks, and it only got worse when Fred's hand brushed against mine.
"S-Sorry," we both muttered at the same time.
It was silent for a moment. Which – not gonna lie – was very awkward.
"Are you comfortable?" Fred questioned.
"Honestly? Not at all," I sighed.
"Me either," Fred sighed. "Uh, can I try something?"
"Sure?" I replied.
Fred shifted a little before wrapping his arm around my waist, pulling me into his bare chest.
I could practically hear my heart thump as all of the blood in my body took shelter in my face. My breathing picked up as I tensed.
"Calm down," Fred whispered in my ear.
How do I bloody calm down when I can literally feel your breath on my neck?!
"You comfortable now?" Fred asked.
"Y-Yeah."

IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! IT'S TRAVIS GOING OVER LOVE~LOVE PARADISE!
Oh wait no, it's just an unexpected chapter falling out of the sky.
That's right! It's a chapter! All though I kind of wish it was Travis. Who doesn't love Travis Valkrum?
....maybe people who don't have any idea what I'm talking about....
If so, get off of Wattpad and go watch Aphmau on YouTube.
I honestly have no idea why I'm talking about Aphmau. But she's like my favorite YouTuber, so why haven't I been talking about her?
Right....I'm gonna stop.
Here's the chapterly question! From the lovely – and probably only person that will get my Aphmau reference – SabrinaFairyfriend
Will you be making any spinoffs of the series?
My answer,
It really depends on what you'd consider a spinoff.
I've thought about doing little one-shot type things. Like little scenes from anywhere between the two-part series. But I've decided not to do that, so don't get to excited.
But maybe you would consider what I actually will be doing a spin-off.
After Dancing In The Storm is finished, I'll be writing a Jily story. I don't know if anyone's noticed, or if I've ever said it – but all of my stories are connected.
So maybe you've seen things from Dancing In The Rain about James and Lily that you thought, "Oh my gosh! I wish this was a book!"
Well guess what! It will be!
I'm sorry. I've been watching a lot of Shane Dawson lately.
But yeah. I will be making a Jily story, and that'll have Sirius and Claire in it. Which means you'll be seeing them be cutesy and whatnot.
Anyway! I love you all! Hope I didn't ruin your day with my odd ending! Bye!
