Chapter 22
•This story takes scenes from the Harry Potter series. I want to make it clear that I don't own those scenes. That's owned by
J.K. Rowling. Thank you•

"Somethings happening this year," I mumbled to George as we got onto the train.
Bill had just told him that this year'd be interesting, and that he may be able to visit.
"Tell me about it. This is the millionth time I've heard someone talk about this year being interesting," George sighed.
I nodded in agreement. Mum had said something about it a few times, and I heard Remus mention it when he visited over the summer.
"Are you sitting with us?" George asked.
I shook my head sadly. "I think I'll sit with the girls."
George nodded, waving goodbye and making his way to the usual compartment.
I turned and went the opposite direction, where us girls usually sat. I knocked softly before sliding the door open.
Angelina and Katie were in there, but there was no sign of Alicia.
"Scar!" Katie exclaimed, jumping up to hug me. Angelina followed shortly, hugging me tightly.
"How was your summer?" Angelina asked me.
I huffed, taking a seat. "Awful. Yours?"
"It was alright," Angelina shrugged. "But you should hear about Katie's."
Angelina grinned at Katie, who started blushing profusely.
"You're blushing! Why are you blushing?!" I asked excitedly.
Katie avoided eye contact, looking everywhere but at me.
"Oh go on!" Angelina pushed.
Katie took a deep breath before speaking, "I kinda sorta met a guy..."
I screamed in excitement, jumping up and down.
"Oh you're so grown up!" I exclaimed, squeezing her tightly. "When do we get to meet him?!"
"I don't know," Katie shrugged. "He doesn't go here. Actually, he's a Muggle."
I gasped. "You rebel."
She rolled her eyes at me.
"I'm happy for you, Katie," I said honestly.
She smiled brightly, sitting back down and getting comfortable.
"So where's Alicia," I questioned after awhile.
"Take a guess," Angelina laughed.
"With Lee?" I sighed. She responded with a nod.
"I'm kinda jealous," I admitted.
"Of?" Katie asked.
"Alicia's got a boyfriend, you've found a guy you like, Angelina's bound to find someone soon," I explained.
"Um, must I remind you how much you love Fred, and how much I know he loves you too," Katie scoffed.
I frowned, thinking back to the kiss.
"I don't know anymore. I'm kind of giving up hope," I stated sadly.
"Really?" Angelina asked, sitting up slightly.
I raised an eyebrow at her, "I really don't know. I obviously like him. I just don't think he'll ever like me back."
Angelina nodded slightly, but Katie scoffed loudly.
"Don't act like that! You're smart, funny, caring, and might I add, hot. Anyone would like you," she said like it was obvious.
I just shrugged.
The compartment door slid open and a swollen lipped Alicia appeared.
"I see you've been busy," I snorted.
Alicia brushed my comment off, giving me a hug.
"How was your summer?" She asked cheerfully.
"Meh, could've been better," I shrugged.
"Hmm, well I've heard this year's gonna be busy. So I think it'll make up for whatever happened," Alicia stated. We all nodded in agreement.
"So I told Lee that'd we'd all go over to their compartment, so let's change and go over for the rest of the trip," Alicia suggested, well, more so ordered.
I bit my lip in frustration, unable to find a way out of the situation.
"Yeah alright," Katie agreed, getting up and grabbing her robes.
"Sounds good," Angelina nodded.
"I-uh-sure," I sighed, gathering my clothes.
We all changed in the compartment before wandering down the narrow hall to the boys compartment.
Alicia knocked before sliding the door open.
Fred and George both had the window seats, and Lee was next to George. Alicia quickly took the seat next to Lee. Katie lightly pushed me in the direction of Fred, and before I could even turn around her and Angelina were sitting squished together so that there was only a space next to Fred.
Reluctantly, I sat next to Fred. I attempted to keep a space between us, but as soon as I had gotten comfortable Katie and Angelina relaxed and I was squished in between Katie and Fred.
I muttered a sorry to Fred, but he merely nodded, looking out the window.
I knew everyone was chatting happily, but I couldn't focus at all. I didn't do anything but stare at the floor for most of the ride. When I wasn't doing that, my mind was racing with thoughts like, 'Has he noticed his hand's almost touching my leg?', 'Did he just move his hand because he's thinking about it?', 'Did he move it because he noticed how tense I was?', and 'Bloody hell! Can he read minds?!'
But eventually, I was brought back to reality by Katie's elbow in my stomach.
I hissed slightly under my breath. "What?"
"I asked if you were alright?" Lee repeated.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine," I nodded.
Lee didn't seem convinced, but nodded.
George frowned at me, looking at me with a look that said, 'You're not alright, are you?'
I shook my head no, my eyes quickly filling with tears. Thankfully, only George seemed to notice.
"Are you guys hungry? Scar, let's go find the trolley lady," George stated, standing up quickly. He stood by the door, waiting for me to get up.
I followed after him, my tears threatening to spill.
He led me into an empty compartment, closing the blinds and locking the door. He pulled me into his chest, wrapping his arms around me comfortingly.
"I'm sorry you're having to go through this," George sighed, stroking my hair soothingly.
I hadn't realized I was crying until a sob left my mouth, echoing around the compartment.
"He's a prat," George stated.
I let out a shaky laugh.
"I know you deny it, but he really does care about you. He messed up, I know. But I also know he regrets it–"
I scowled.
"I'm sure he does regret it."
"That's not what I meant," George muttered.
"I know you're only trying to help, but you're wasting your time," I sighed. "Fred's playing with my heart. I've just got to figure out how to get it back."

It's a short chapter, but not even a full day after my last update? I'm doing pretty good.
You may have noticed I changed the title to say Fred Weasley. That's because I feel this story's definitely more about Scarlett and Fred than Claire and Sirius. I'm still going to have a few chapters in their point of view so that you can see what's going on with them, but I feel it's more about Scarlett's life now.
Good news, I've got a question for the chapter! Thank you MissMaddelyn for all the questions, and hopefully I'll be able to answer all of them soon.
Todays question though,
If you could choose one Harry Potter book to live through, but then when it's over you'd have to return to your regular life, which would it be?
My answer,
That's a tough question. I think my first answer would be Order of the Phoenix. Mainly because I'd get to see Sirius, but then I'd also get to be in Dumbledore's Army. I think that'd be really fun. I'd also get to hang out with Fred, George, Lee, Angelina, Alicia, and Katie.
I hope you're all having a fabulous day! I love you all!
