After the trial, everyone seemed shaken up. I know I was. The memories are what kept me from going crazy here. My friends... they were out there somewhere. I had to get out and find them. The bear had given us all memories of people close to us. Friends, families, boyfriends and girlfriends. Jen and Pat seemed to remember something about each other. They were so close, and often showed PDA (Public Displays of Affection). A couple of days after the trial I saw the two of them kissing. Again, not passionate, just a simple peck on the lips.

"So, take you guys were together before... whatever this is happened."

"Yeah..." Pat said, "the ring's gone, but..."

"We're husband and wife." Jen said.

"Wow, congratulations!" I said, "I mean I know you've probably been married for a little before this, but still."

Jen laughed.

"Yeah, we know." She said, "thanks Uni."

"Yeah." Pat said, "thanks."

I smiled and walked off. Those two meant so much to each other... it gave me hope. Hope for a better future.
