"I grieve in stereo, the stereo sounds strange.
I know that if you hide, it doesn't go away."

Vienna had no idea where his sister went. The last time he had even heard from Viola, who was busy with her own life, was the daily morning check up text before classes.
After the panicked call to his parents they called the police, but to them she was just another missing person that they wouldn't ever find.
It was official. Viola was missing and just like when the first person Libby cared about disappeared out of her life she was a mess, with paper, clothes and all of the belongings she had from Viola scattered on her dorm room floor.
"Libby? Are you in here?" Ellie knocked on her door, looking a little better than the last time Libby had seen her. It had only been a day, but she pulled herself together to be there for her friends.
"No." She said, obviously giving away that she was, letting Ellie come in anyways. .
"What happened in here?" Ellie took a look around the disasterous room.
"I was searching for clues. I feel like such an idiot."
"It wasnt your fault." She tried to comfort her, to of course no avail.
"I left her alone because I was too scared to go out of my room, and now she's gone and it is, it's all my fault." She sat at the foot of her bed, nearly curled in a ball.
"No one thinks it is, not me, not Vee, or their parents. They already have a few suspects, and see youre not one of them."
"Who?"
"Right now they have one main suspect, he was the last one to be seen with Charlie."
"But I was the last to see Via"
"Right now they don't know that... And it's different..."
"How? How is that any different?"
"It was Devin. Devin Navarro, and he may be on of the biggest assholes in school."
"An asshole is one thing, but a kidnapper? They really think he could be capable of something like that?"
Ellies silence was an indicater enough.
"And do you?" Libby asked her face to face, she thought she was crazy for even thinking that.
"I mean... who else could do that?"
"For one an adult? I mean how many teenagers are we at now? Five? How could someone our age get away with something like this?"
"Well for one the justice system doesnt give a fuck. The cops havent done anything."
"Right, it's like what you told me. We have to take this into our own hands. I'm going to find Viola. We have to get a group together to convince them to look harder, maybe we can even protest. Whatever do we can't give up."
"You're right."
"Then lets put up fliers to find some other people who care as much as we do."
"Already on it." Ellie was now scrolling on her phone, looking at any of the latest messages on the school page. "Wait... It looks like there already is one. It's like this club, and they meet every night at six in the library."
"It's five thirty."
"Then I guess we better get ready, now."

Stephen managed to find one new member of the missing persons club, a younger girl that he started to take a liking to. Rita Santiago was perfect for the club, to get a view from someone much younger. She could influence her class while still giving ideas to everyone else. She even had a reason to, after one of her bandmates dissapeared.
Stephen himself, despite finding a new member, was losing the motivation to keep this club alive, he wanted to find his friend, but he started to wonder whether this was too much for a few teenagers. That was until an idea started to form. Stephen knew there was one person he really needed to join the club. But he did'nt know how the girls would react to it, since they were the ones that saw him last with Charlie.
"I don't know why you don't like me, but I know you don't. I know you're not guilty either. If you join the club I'll try to convince them. You have all the power in this school you could really make a change." Stephen spoke to the much taller guy, only feet away from the clubs usual meeting spot. He was in the library because it was the only place he could be alone, without people bombarding him with questions, and putting missing posters specifically on his dorm room door. It was especially unsettling, and unfortunate that being alone was better for him at a time of dissapearances taking place left and right.
Devin hadn't been at school since charlie went missing, and while many people assumed he went missing too or went to go kidnap more people, Stephen did his research. It was an open investigation, and details were easy enough to find.
"I don't care what people think." Devin told him, and it seemed like the truth, but it wasnt. Sure he was usually carefree, but this was different, much different.
"I know that's a lie. Youre practically one of the most popular students at our school. And being blamed for kidnapping someone is a big deal..."
"And aren't you pretty high on that list too? Also people saying all of that shit doesnt bother me.. I know what fucking happened."
"Then help us. You may know what happened, but no one else does. We need all the help we can, and if you helped find the missing people, no one could suspect you."
"Look, you have a point."
"So you'll stay?"
"I never said that..."
"You're staying."

Rita and Devin weren't the only new members to the club. After finding the post in the school community chat Ellie and Libby informed Vee about the group, distraught over the loss of his sister he decided to tag along to the meeting.
"I declare the missing persons club in session." Stephen spoke, dazed to see the turn out of only the second meeting.
"That's the name for this?" Libby asked, curiously.
"See? We still need to change the name, its stupid." Penny added, after already making a remark on the club name at the first meeting.
"We are trying to find the missing people." Stephen reminded them.
"Fair enough." Libby agreed.
"So this is all of us?" Rita asked, thinking there would be more people, afterall Stephen was popular..
"Well... Yes, everyone else has either left campus now that we have the option, or they have decided to stay in their rooms at night." Stephen told the group, just glad so many people decided to show up.
"All of our shitty parents just made us stay huh?" Jen Asked, with her feet on the table. She only there for one reason at the moment. To help find her best friends crush.
"Some of us chose to be here. To help. This campus is the one connection between all the missing people." Libby stated, turning all of the attention on her. She was one of the smartest people in class, but she still wasn't very popular, unlike Stephen who happened to be both. So a few of them barely even knew of her.
"Since you know everything about the disappearances why don't you lead the club?" A voice sounded from a few feet away, startling everyone.
"I told you to stay over there until I broke the news to them." Stephen said in a tone Libby she had never seen from him before.
"Couldn't help myself, sorry." Devin knew he was bound to start drama.
"You know what? Why don't I? It looks like you guys haven't had any luck so far.
