Cassie walked out of her room with a smile on her face after she showered and got dressed Astrid smiles at her sister "Hey baby sis you look extremely happy right now"

Cassie sighs happily at her sister "well sissy I am in a really good mood this morning."

The older blonde smiles again "and what would be the cause of this good mood?"

Cassie looks at her "Well I had this dream last night... it was a dream but it was real and I saw Kol last night in the dream he said something about a witch owing him a favor but she died before he could call it in so he found said witch on the other side and called in the favor and used it to talk to me... So I really don't think that anything could ruin my good mood today."

Astrid smiles "Awe baby I'm happy that you got to see him."

Cassie smiles back and the two walk downstairs, Cassie is surprised to see Rebekah sitting at the table with Klaus "Bex? I thought you were leaving town?"

The blonde female original smiles at the alien "I was on my way out when Elijah called me so of course here I am" Cassie smiles at her taking a seat at the table beside Rebekah with Astrid sitting across from her.

Klaus looks at his sister "Have you spoken to our good friend Marcel today?"

Rebekah looks back at him playing dumb "No, should I have?"

"He's been mysteriously silent-- avoiding me, some might say. I thought perhaps he may have whispered reasons into your ear. Along with all of those sweet nothings."

"If I see him, I'll be sure to ask if he's still sore at you." Cassie and Astrid share a look at the two of them but they don't say anything just sitting back listening and eating the food on the table in front of them staying out of it for now.

Klaus looks back at his sister "Let me give a voice to that look in your eyes". He starts mocking her "My saintly noble brother lies writhing in agony in the Bayou, victim of my bastard brother's bite when just one or two drops of his blood would ease his pain."

Rebekah gives him a look "On the contrary, Nik, I am simply enjoying my brekkie, waiting for Elijah's healthy return."

Klaus gives her a look right back "Oh, come on Rebekah, you've been giving me the devil's eye all morning. Out with it!"

Rebekah gives him a look "Perhaps I'm concerned that if I voice my opinion about what you did to Elijah, I will end up on the wrong side of your toxic hybrid teeth."

Klaus looks at her rather offended "Poppycock!" then he smirks at her "I would never bite you. Elijah made some very offensive accusations about my intentions toward my child. He deserves a day or two of discomfort. Besides, you know my preferred method of punishment for your indiscretions is the dagger."

Rebekah smirks as she stands up from her seat "There is something fundamentally wrong with you." She walks out of the room leaving Klaus alone with Cassie and Astrid.

Cassie smirks at him "Well she's not wrong... but somehow that's what we all love about you Nikky."

He turns to her "Well someone is in a rather good mood this morning"

Cassie shrugs at him "Well I have a reason to be in a good mood but it doesn't concern you so I'm not telling you what it is... now I am going out for a while I'll be back later."

He shakes his head at the blonde as she walks out of the room but can't help the smile that slips on his face.

Once Cassie gets away from the house she pulls her phone out and dials Isabella's number "Hello Cassie."

The alien smiles "Hi... how's it going?"

The witch sighs "finding the spell I need has been more difficult than I originally thought but I will find it... I promise you I will, I just don't know when but I will call you as soon as I know something about it, Cassie."

The blonde alien nods with a sigh "okay thanks again, Isabella."

The witch smiles on the other end of the phone "you're welcome Cassie... I owe you and this is how you are calling it in so it's not a problem at all."

Cassie hangs the phone up the smile still on her face as she walks through the quarter. She called Carolien as well and the younger blonde filled her in on what was going on in Mystic Falls at the moment, Cassie told her what was going on with her as well and the two just talked for a while.

Cassie spent the majority of the day in the quarter then she got a text from Klaus telling her to meet him at the abattoir so she met him at the door and he smirks at her "I was hoping you would come."

Cassie smirks at him and holds her right hand up "I'm wearing the protection ring that was made for Kol so nothing can hurt me while I'm wearing it so this should be fun."

Klaus walks in with Cassie behind him. Marcel, Rebekah, and his vampires crowd around Klaus, who stands in the middle of the circle and spreads his arms "Let's end this charade, shall we? Vampires of New Orleans! Do recall that I am an Original. A hybrid. I cannot be killed."

Cassie is standing behind her best friend with her arms crossed over her chest as Klaus continues "Eternity is an awfully long time. How long, do you think, Marcel will stay in power? What if one of you lot were to release me, knowing I will be eternally in your debt? Oh, I would pity those of you who dared to cross me. I can assure you, your ends would be spectacular. To borrow a trick from an old friend--" He reaches out his hand, which holds a large gold coin "Whoever picks up this coin gets to live." He drops the coin on the floor in front of him "Now, which of you magnificent bastards wants to join me?"

Marcel looks around at his vampires "Anyone wants that coin, pledge allegiance to Klaus. Take it now. Go ahead. The choice is yours." No one moves, except for Klaus, who is slightly astonished that no one picks up the coin. Marcel looks at him, proud of the loyalty his minions show.

Cassie rolls her eyes "Come on someone make this easier on yourselves and pick up the damn coin" that is when the attention turns to her and she just smirks at them "it would make this so much easier."

Marcel looks at his vampires "Take him." Some of the vampires lunge for Klaus, but he easily takes them out. Then one of them lunges at Cassie but is instantly knocked back by a blue forcefield that envelopes the blonde alien.

Cassie smirks at them, "oops... now how did that happen?"

Klaus stretches his arms wide on either side, two other vampires wrap his wrists in chains and bind him. They look triumphant for a moment, but Klaus' hybrid face comes out, and he growls deeply before breaking through his bonds and viciously biting and killing every vampire who comes at him. Rebekah is paralyzed by fear as she watches Klaus quickly gain the upper hand.

Klaus looks at Marcel and yells "Marcel! Come and finish this!"

Marcel desperately rushes toward Klaus, but Rebekah holds him back, she looks at him frantically "No! Take the coin!"

Marcel looks at her shocked "what?"

"He won't stop until everyone is dead. And he will kill you too. End this. Pick up the coin!" Marcel considers this for a long moment before lunging forward "Enough!" Suddenly, the room falls absolutely silent, and the fighting stops. Marcel picks up the coin off the ground and holds it up.

Cassie looks around "See now if that would have happened earlier it would have saved a lot of people from dying."

Klaus smirks but looks amused "Well, well, well. The great Marcel, self-proclaimed king of New Orleans, bowing before me."

Marcel throws the coin at Klaus' feet "There. I hereby pledge my allegiance to you. You have the keys to my kingdom. It's yours."

Klaus smiles happily.

The bodies of the vampires who died in battle have been covered in white shrouds and placed on the stone floor of a room off of the courtyard. Diego and several others pour vodka and bourbon over the bodies before taking swings out of the bottle. On the balcony, Marcel is watching them work when Klaus joins him.

"Looking at what you've wrought?"

Cassie walks up beside Klaus as Marcel looks at Klaus "Look, if you're gonna kill me, let's get this over with."

Klaus looks at him "Why would I kill you? You picked up the coin. There are rules of engagement in battle, Marcel. Without them, you'd have anarchy. I would, however, like to talk about accommodations. Your living quarters, for example. I believe they used to be mine."

"You own this. Fine. It's yours. You can put me back on the street for all I care. But let's make one thing clear-- You will never have this: loyalty. You can't buy it, you can't own it, you can't force it. It comes only out of love and respect for the people who believe in you. You taught me many things, Niklaus Mikaelson, but this I learned myself. And it is something that you will never know. Enjoy your kingdom." Marcel leaves Klaus alone with Cassie on the balcony to watch as Diego lights a lighter and drops it on the bodies.

Cassie lays a hand on his shoulder and he smiles at her "let's head back to the house.. you can pack your stuff Cass because we're moving" she nods at him and they head back to the plantation house.

Cassie is up in her room packing up her stuff when Astrid walks in "What's going on Cass?"

She turns to her sister "we are moving into The Abattoir in the French Quater."

The older blonde nods at her sister "all right then Cass guess I gotta pack then because I'm going where you go"

The two blonde walks down the stairs Cassie with her two duffle bags and of course Kol's ashes and Astrid with her bags as well they walk into the room in the middle of the argument "Elijah's home. There's only one dagger. Which one of us will you be punishing today?"

Klaus looks at her "I contemplated a game of eenie-meenie-miney-moe. You betrayed me. My own sister!"

Elijah comes in "Niklaus, don't you dare!" Klaus points the dagger at Elijah "Perhaps it should be you, brother! Stealing my child away with every fawning moment of tenderness you show to Hayley!"

"This has nothing to do with Hayley."

The sisters are now standing by the door waiting on the argument to finish so they can leave and get to their new home. Klaus glares at Elijah " It has everything to do with her! She's adored you since she arrived. And now my child, my blood, will grow up to call you father!"

Rebekah looks at her brother "Is that what it is? You are once again worried that you will be left behind? Has history taught you nothing? We don't abandon you, Nik, you drive us away!"

Klaus turns to her "Is that so? What have I done lately, other than cooperate? I bow down to you, brother, to make up for daggering you. For the greater good of our plan to reclaim our home. Looked the other way, sister, while you repeat the same cycle with Marcel. Falling again for a man you shouldn't be with, while he controls the empire that we built! That he took! Now, I make no excuses for past sins. But in the one moment when you two could have chosen to stand by me-- to believe in me, to believe my intentions for my own child were pure-- you chose to stand against me, to side with my enemies. I wanted our home back. Now I have it. So, I'm going to live there with Cassie and where Cassie goes Astrid usually follows and the two of you... you can stay here together and rot."

He angrily shoves the dagger into Elijah's hands as he leaves the house. Rebekah and Elijah both look guilty. Cassie gives them both a smile before she and her sister walk out of the house behind Klaus.

Klaus looks at Hayley "You're coming with me, little wolf." she looks at him and scoffs "Why would I go anywhere with you?" Klaus looks at her as he heads to the car "Because, Hayley, that child you carry is the only thing on this earth that matters to me. Now you can fight me on this, but you will lose." He opens the door to the passenger's side of the car and waits for her to get in "As will anyone else who tries to stop you from getting in this car."

Cassie and Astrid are in the back seat waiting on the werewolf to get in the car so they can leave. Hayley sighs and reluctantly gets into the car. Klaus closes the door and gets into the driver's seat and sets out to the Abattoir.

After they get there Klaus grabs Cassie by the arm and shows her to her room with a slight smile "here you go, Cass, this will be your room."

She smiles looking around "it's nice I like it... I like the fireplace too but is there another room with a fireplace? Because I bet it can get cold in here."

He nods at her "Yes Cass... there is one other bedroom with a fireplace and that is Hayley's room"

Cassie nods at him "good."

He walks towards the door to leave her to settle in "Oh and Cass?"

She looks at him "yeah?"

He smiles at the blonde, knowing that she will like this "this was Kol's room."

Cassie looks at him and smiles "really?"

He nods at her "yeah" then he walks out of the room and Cassie smiles setting Kol's ashes on the fireplace mantle right in the middle. Kol is watching her as she unpacks from the other side with a smile. He is happy that his soulmate is happy.
