Cassie and Astrid walked into the kitchen as Rebekah is dragging a trashcan in behind her. Hayley looks at Elijah "Listen, I know Cassie, Astrid and I are the only ones in this house that actually drink milk, but would it kill any of you to make sure it's on the grocery list?"

Cassie smiles at the suited original "Eli... welcome home"

Rebekah pipes up "Speaking of, add bleach." She stomps through the kitchen and into the living room to clean up the mess the boys left. Elijah digs around in a cupboard while Hayley pulls ice cream out of the freezer.

Elijah smiles at Cassie "thank you Cassie how are you feeling this morning?"

She smiles back at him "I've been much better lately."

Astrid wraps her arm around her sisters shoulders "yeah she really has been in a better mood lately but I will warn you the hormones are hitting her really hard."

Cassie rolls her eyes as Elijah looks back at Hayley "You know, I do hope my siblings were hospitable to you in my absence."

"In your absence, as you like to call it-- which is a way-too-polite way of saying that your brother put a dagger in your heart--" She looks up to see Elijah bringing a bowl, a spoon, and a bag of cereal to the counter "I have been attacked by French Quarter vampires, I've had to live in a house with a secret dungeon full of coffins, and I was nearly murdered by witches who are convinced my baby is Lucifer."

Elijah smiles sympathetically as he pulls orange juice and milk out of the fridge, pours Hayley a bowl of cereal, and then fills it with milk. When Hayley realizes that they had milk all along, she looks slightly guilty and embarrassed "Oh.... milk. They've been fine. Your siblings are weirdly protective, I know I have you to thank for that."

Cassie takes a seat at the island thing in the kitchen just listening to what's going on around her while her sister takes the seat next to her as Elijah and Hayley continue to talk "I'm just happy to see that you're in one piece."

He smiles at her and hands her the bowl of cereal "So, back to the murderous witches. I have some concerns.

Hayley looks worried "They're evil. And, my life is still magically linked to Sophie Deveraux, which is not comforting."

Elijah nods "Yes, I think it's time we took care of that little problem."

Rebekah walks back into the kitchen dragging the corpse of the girl Klaus killed across the floor behind her making Cassie snort and Astrid rolls her eyes. "I am all for it. As soon as they're unlinked, we get to leave this crap town. Who do we have to kill?"

Elijah looks at her thinking for a moment "Probably no one."

That earned a snort from both Cassie and Astrid while Hayley gives Elijah a significant look of disbelief. Elijah rolls his eyes and sighs "Alright, potentially everyone."

Cassie smirks "now that's more like it."

Astrid laughs as her sister as Elijah walks out of the room and Rebekah looks at the blonde alien "so how did it go with your appointment this morning?"

Cassie smiles at her "Everything is perfect with the baby and she said I was 14 weeks along and that we scheduled the next appoint for 4 weeks from today exactly and that she can tell him for sure then the gender of the baby but I have a feeling that it's a girl"

Rebekah smiles "have you picked out names yet?"

Cassie smirks "Yeah I know exactly what her name is gonna be but it's gonna be a surprise"

Rebekah pouts at her "fine... keep it a secret" Cassie just smirks and shoots a wink at the girl.

A little while later Cassie followed Rebekah into Hayley's room "Time for the demon spawn to snack!"

Cassie snorts out a laugh as Hayley laughs as well looking at Rebekah "I really wish you wouldn't call her that."

Rebekah shrugs "Oh, sorry, have you picked another name yet?" She holds out a basket of apples "Take one, the plantation's lousy with them." Hayley takes an apple and then offers one to Cassie and she takes one as well.

Cassie bites into the apple as Hayley looks at Rebekah "I feel fine... which is weird. I'm sure it's Sophie-related."

Rebekah nods looking at Hayley "Then, do me a favor, and don't die on my watch. I'll never hear the end of it."

Hayley gives Rebekah a look "You know when I first met you, I thought you were a real bitch."

Rebekah smiles at her "What changed your mind?"

Cassie chuckles at the two while still eating the apple in her hand as Hayley laughs "Oh, I still think you're a bitch! I've just grown to like that about you."

Rebekah chuckles "Aw, well, that's sweet of you to say." Her face becomes more serious "Remember it when I'm gone."

Cassie pouts at her "you better come back before your nieces are born."

Hayley looks at her confused "Gone? Where are you going?"

Rebekah smiles at the blonde alien "Of course Cass... I couldn't miss that now could I?" then Rebekah looks at Hayley "I only came to town to make sure everything was okay with Elijah. He's fine, and he hasn't punished Klaus for daggering him, so... as usual, they'll be thick as thieves, and I'll be left to clean up the mess. It's time for me to fly the coop."

"Oh..." Hayley goes to bite the apple in her hand, but she suddenly starts to feel woozy before she gets the chance to eat it.

Rebekah looks at her concerned "What's wrong?"

Hayley shakes her head I dunno, probably morning sickness."

Cassie walks over and lays a hand on the girl's forehead "Bex come here and feel her head she's burning up."

Rebekah nods and feels Hayley's forehead "Oh, Cassie's right you're burning up."

Hayley lays in bed as Rebekah blots sweat from her forehead and chest with a washcloth "Stop fussing, will you? Elijah will be here any minute."

Cassie smiles at the girl "we're gonna figure out what's going on with you okay?"

Hayley groans but shoots a small smile at the blonde alien "I feel like I've been microwaved."

Rebekah looks at her "Hey! Just because you're carrying a baby doesn't mean you get to act like one! I'm sure our little niece is healing you up as we speak."

Elijah runs in with Sophie. Rebekah stands to greet them but is appalled when she sees who Elijah has brought with him and Cassie crosses her arms across her chest glaring at Sophie.

"What the hell is she doing here?"

Sophie sighs looking at the blonde original "I'm trying to help."

Cassie rolls her eyes "this is your fault, to begin with! So what help could you be?"

Rebekah glares at her as well "Help? Like Cass said you're the reason we're in this bloody mess!" then Rebekah looks at Elijah "Why aren't we unlinked with this witch already, Elijah?"

Elijah looks at his sister and almost sister-in-law "Rebekah, Cassie let her do what she can."

Sophie looks at the two of them "I may know a way to slow the fever down. But, I'm gonna need some special herbs." She turns and looks at Rebekah "I'll text you a list."

Elijah nods at her in encouragement, and though Rebekah does not look pleased to be being ordered around again, she eventually relents and smiles at them patronizingly "Fine. Happy to play the fetch girl." Rebekah stomps out of the room, and shoves the washcloth she was using into Elijah's chest as she leaves.

Cassie looks at them "you know what I'm gonna go with Bex" then she walks out of the room catching up to the blonde original "I'm coming with you Bex."

The original smiles "okay let's go then."

Cassie and Rebekah are in the voodoo shop looking for the herbs that Sophie needs to help Hayley. "Isn't this Katie's shop?" Cassie rolls her eyes but decided to let Rebekah deal with Marcel.

Rebekah stops, rolls her eyes, and sighs as she goes back to looking for the herbs "She leave you the keys in her will, or maybe it's just Help-Yourself Tuesday?" There's a pause but Rebekah doesn't answer him so he asks again "What are you doing here?"

Rebekah looks at him "You know, I read if you mix mugwort with sage, you've got quite a vampire-repellent? Wards off even the most resilient pest. Why are you here?"

That earns a snort from Cassie "that was a good one Bex"

Marcel looks at the other blonde and then back to Rebekah "Just keeping my city safe from thieves and vandals. But, every time I turn around, I catch an Original with their hand in the cookie jar!"

"Well, luckily for you, your "cookies" are the last thing on my mind."

"Oh, I can see that!" He walks toward her "Though, I can think of a time when things were different."

Rebekah rolls her eyes "Maybe once. Not anymore."

Cassie smirks finding the last herb they need "Camphor, Bex I found it!"

The original nods at the alien and the two of them quickly exit the shop, leaving a confused and suspicious Marcel behind.

Rebekah and Cassie get the herbs back to Sophie as fast as they can and now Hayley is wrapped in a towel, sitting outside beside the swimming pool. Rebekah stands behind her, checking her temperature, while Elijah and Cassie assist Sophie in helping with the herbs. He shrugs off his jacket and rolls up his sleeves. "She's burning up! We need to do this now."

Sophie looks at Elijah "Get her in the water!" Elijah jumps into the pool and helps Hayley in. Sophie mixes herbs in a cup and follows them into the water as well.

Rebekah looks frustrated " I don't see how a midnight swim is supposed to help."

Cassie lays a hand on her arm as Sohpie answers Rebekah "Her temperature is sky-high. The water, with the help of the herbs, should cool us down." She hands Hayley the herbal concoction "Drink this!" She turns to Elijah "You're going to have to get her heart rate down."

Elijah looks at her "How do you suggest I do that?"

Cassie rolls her eyes "Hold her Eli!"

Sophie nods "she's right It's a natural human remedy to slow the heart rate and reduce blood pressure."

Rebekah looks worried "This is never gonna work." and Cassie wraps and arm around her shoulder an equally worried look on her face. Elijah picks Hayley up and holds her bridal-style in the pool "Davina will break the link, we just need time." Hayley clings to Elijah and groans as she gasps for breath.

Cassie bites her lip in anticipation, closing her eyes not wanting to watch this any more a few minutes later Hayley screams, she opens her eyes hearing Sophie say "I just felt it lift."

Rebekah and Cassie both sigh in relief.

Hayley starts to calm down, and Elijah looks stunned. Hayley stands up on her own, but still leans against Elijah, still weak from the spell. Sophie removes one of her earrings and pokes her palm with it. Hayley looks at her palm, and she and Elijah both look relieved when she's not injured. Elijah holds her hand and he and Hayley stare at each other for a long moment. Rebekah and Cassie notice their shared glances, so Elijah quickly lets go and leads Hayley out of the pool "Come on, let's go."

Sophie looks at Elijah "Elijah... as soon as your brother finds out that the link is broken, he'll kill Agnes. I know you don't owe me anything, but please, don't let him kill her." Elijah zooms out of the pool and pulls his phone out of his jacket on the table. "Elijah! She's our only access to the power we need to survive. Promise me that you'll stop him!"

Elijah ignores her and dials a number into his phone before raising it to his ear. It's Klaus, though only Elijah's side of the call is heard. "It's me, where are you?" there's a pause before Elijah spoke again "Don't hurt her. I'll be there shortly" He hangs up and turns to Sophie "I'll make you one last promise. I won't let my brother kill Agnes."

Cassie smirks catching the underlying meaning behind his words he gave his word that he wouldn't let Klaus kill the witch but he never said that he wouldn't kill her himself.

The blonde alien walks up to her room and Rebekah walks in a few minutes later "I thought I'd say goodbye for now, but I'll be back Cass even if it is just for you"

Cassie smiles hugging the girl "I'm gonna miss you, Bex."

The blonde original smiles back at her "I'm gonna miss you too Cass... and I'm glad to see you at least a little bit back to yourself."

Cassie smiles "well I have my baby girl and I also have a way to get Kol back so what don't I have to be happy about?"

Rebekah smiles understandingly at her "well that makes sense as to the change in your attitude," they hug again and the blonde original walks out of the room, and Cassie closes the door behind her.

Cassie grabs her phone playing music from it as she walks into the bathroom to take a bath... it's been a long day.

After her bath Cassie puts on pajama pants and one of Kol's shirts like she usually does before she goes to bed. Before she puts her bubble around the room she hears a knock at the door she walks over to the door and opens it "yeah?"

Klaus smiles "Just checking on you... Marcel was here earlier and now Hayley is nowhere to be seen so figured I check on you, make sure you were okay."

Cassie smiles "well it's nice to know you care Nikky and you think Marcel took her?"

The Hybrid gave her a look "you're my best friend Cass of course I care and I don't know... but I'm gonna find out."

Cassie smirks "I'm coming with you... Hayley is family now just let me change."
