The blonde alien shot up in her bed, she was woken from her nap by her phone ringing, she answered it and it was Elijah, who told her everything that had happened and it turned out that Cassie was right when she suggested that maybe Celest was the witch brought back in Davina's place, Hayley killed her, and not too long after that Davina came back to life.

After they hung up Cassie let out a breath, and thought back to her dream, well it was more like a vision and she pulled up her little sister's contact and called her.

"Hey, Cass what's up?"

The older blonde blew out a breath, "Hey Care, this is gonna sound weird but I need you to make sure mom, goes to the doctor and gets checked for cancer, I'm pretty sure it was a vision, and mom was diagnosed with cancer and it was diagnosed to late to actually treat it..."

Caroline breathed out a surprised breath "wow okay that's really bad, I promise I will make sure mom gets checked, as soon as we hang up I will get her to make the appointment."

"all right, I just don't want ot take the chance."

"Of course Cass, I don't want anything to happen to mom either." so they spoke for a few more minutes before hanging up Cassie got up and changed her clothes and got ready, she grabbed her back and the blonde alien was headed, to see the Claire witch. She had just walked pasted Astrid's room and heard noises coming for inside, Astrid had been kind of distant lately and Cassie was worried about her so she paused she would go and see Davina after she spoke to her sister.

Cassie knocked on the door "Sissy?"

"Come in." Cassie opened the door and walked into the room, Astrid smiled at her sister "hey baby what's up?"

Cassie smiled back at her "just wanted to check in on you... are out okay?"

"Of course baby, why wouldn't I be?" Cassie could tell something was bothering her sister, but she didn't want to push her to talk about it if she didn't want to and since Astrid hadn't brought it up she figured she didn't want to talk about it.

Cassie sat her bag down on the floor by her sister's bed and sat down with her "well I'm just worried about you sissy, that's all I've noticed you've been more distant lately that's all."

Astrid smiled at her "I am fine." then she sighed then Cassie noticed her sister look at a strange-looking device sitting on the bed in front of her.

"what's that?" she nodded toward the device.

Astrid looked at her "that baby is called an Ascendant."

Cassie nodded with a curious look on her face "and what is an Ascendant exactly?"

"well essentially it's the key to a prison world, and this one, I stole back in '94 and I have spent the last 18 years trying to figure out how the fucking thing works, and I would ask a Midgardian witch but I don't have one that I would trust enough to explain the situation too since I am not supposed to have it in the first place and If it got to the Gemini Coven that I am the one that took it then they will come after me for it."

"What is it so important to them anyway?"

Astrid smiled slightly "Because of who is locked inside the prison world that it opens, Malachi Parker, though he hated being called Malachi so he went by Kai."

Cassie noticed the look on her sister's face she recognized it "he was important to you."

Astrid smiled at her with a nod "he was very important to me, do you remember after Kol died when I said that if I could take the pain you felt losing him away that I would do it in a heartbeat?" Cassie nodded "well that is because I know how much it hurts, I don't talk about this because it always hurts too much but Kai was my soulmate."

Cassie pulled her sister into a hug. "what did he do, that caused him to be locked in this prison world?"

Astrid laid her head on her sister's shoulder, "well from what Kai told me, in the Gemini Coven, when they have twins, the twins are the ones that are in line to be leader of the coven, they do this ritual called the merge, where on or sometime after their 22nd birthday the twins merge their power and everything, the stronger twin wins and absorbs the weaker one's magic, and the weaker one dies. So Kai and his twin sister Jo were the oldest siblings and the first twins, so they were supposed to merge. But his family were a bunch of assholes if I am being honest and Kai was different he didn't have his own magic, he had to take it or siphon it from other magical items and so his father the current leader of the coven didn't want to take the chance that Kai could win so they kept having kids until they had another set of twins, Lukas and Olivia and they were going to wait until they were old enough to do the merge."

Cassie nodded as Astrid continued "So on May 9th, 1994 Kai found out that they were going to let him and Jo merge not to take the chance that he would win and be the leader of the coven... I talked to Kai not too long after he found out and he was pissed, and then something changed in his voice, something in him snapped he went and kill four of his siblings and stuck a hunting knife into his twin's abdomen, and the next day May 10th, 1994, they were set to merge but instead of doing the merge, they used to the power of the eclipse happening that day to lock Kai away in the prison world. I wasn't there when it happened, I was in Seattle, taking care of some business, I got worried when I didn't hear from him so I rushed back to Portland and I got there at the very end just in time to see them send him away."

Cassie hugged her again "I'm sorry Sissy."

"When he disappeared in that flash of light, I felt empty and numb, the bond was gone, I couldn't feel it anymore and I knew that if I couldn't feel it that he couldn't either, so yeah I really knew how you were feeling after Kol died, even though Kai isn't dead just locked away, the feeling was still the same as the one you described."

"Well Sissy, you have me now, I will help you figure out how to get him out, promise."

"Thanks, baby, I appreciate it."

"Of course Sissy." so the two sat there and talked a little while longer, with Astrid telling Cassie more about Kai.

Cassie just walked out of her sister's room after Astrid said she wanted to rest, Cassie was now headed out to see Davina.

Cassie arrived at the address that she was given where Davina was and knocked on the door, a minute later the door opened and Davina smiled at the blonde alien, she let her in and then hugged her "Cassie!"

Cassie hugged the Claire witch back "hey Vina."

Davina had tears in her eyes she was happy to see Cassie "so Marcel told me that you were the one that told them how to get us back... you kept your promise."

Cassie smiled at her "Well I had help in figuring it out but yeah I did relay the information that ended up being right and of course I did Vina, I always try to keep my promises unless it's something completely out of my control.

Davina hugged the blonde alien again "thank you, Cass." The blonde smiled at her and pulled an envelope out of her bag, and held it out to the Claire witch "what is this?"

Cassie grinned at her as she took the envelope "open it and find out..."

Davina opened it and read over the papers that were inside the envelope and looked back at the blonde alien... "adoption papers, you want to adopt me?"

Cassie nodded "yeah I decided that a while back but the whole Harvest thing happened and I didn't get the chance to bring it up until now, I had the papers drawn up so that I could talk to you about it once we figured out how to get you back, but yeah I, can be your older sister, a mother figure just whatever you're comfortable with, all you have to do is sign them."

Davina smiled at her tears welling up in her eyes again this was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for her without having some kind of ulterior motive. There was a knock at the door when Davina went to answer Cassie "I'll get it and we will finish this conversation in a bit."

Cassie nodded and Davina went to the door.

Boom here we go chapter 69 hehe, I decided to save Liz by having Cassie have a vision of it and having them have Liz get checked in time, and also, I am giving Davina an older brother, he's 18, and a siphon who was shunned from the coven :D now I can't remember who commented that on the old book now but thank you if you see this. We will meet him next chapter (:

He will be a love interest for Caroline just so you know and his name is Asher Everrett Claire (: still deciding on a face claim for him though.
