Cassie's dress for the ball ^^^^ that is her dress, her shoes, and the way her hair is done for the ball.

Also, I am switching a few things around in this chapter. You'll understand what I mean when you read it.

Cassie and Rebekah just walked out of the dress shop both having found the perfect dress for the ball "My brother is going to lose his mind when he sees you in that dress"

Cassie laughs "Well that was kind of the point of 'buying' this particular dress Bex." that made the female original laugh as well.

They get into Rebekah's car and head to the grill, so Rebekah can give Matt his invitation to the ball. The blonde alien looks at her with a teasing smile "so you like Matt huh?"

The blonde original smiles "maybe a little"

Cassie smiles "well Matty deserves some happiness in his life, I mean the kid has been through a lot."

They get out of the car and Rebekah smiles at her "thanks Cass" they walk through the door and past Elena and Caroline, and Rebekah glares at the doppelganger "Careful Caroline. It's all well and good until she stabs you in the back."

The blonde alien glares at the doppelganger as well "and she means that quite literally, not metaphorically."

Caroline looks at her sister "Cassie?"

The alien smiles waving at her sister "hey baby sister"

Elena looks at the original "What are you doing here? I know your mom's rules. No hurting the locals." Rebekah rolls her eyes "Get over yourself, Elena. It's not all about you." then Rebekah over to Matt and gives him an invitation envelope to the ball.

Caroline looks at her sister "what are you doing with her?" Cassie smirks "Well I just got back into town a couple of hours ago and we needed dresses for tonight so Bex took me shopping and then she said she had an invite she wanted to hand deliver and here we are"

After giving the invitation to Matt, Rebekah walked back over "Cass are you coming? We have a reservation to get our nails done, and by that I mean they are coming to the house"

Cass nods "I'm coming Bex" then she looks back at her sister "I'll see you later baby sister" and then she walks out catching up with Rebekah.

They walk into the house and Rebekah takes their dresses upstairs and puts them in her room and then flashes back downstairs and links arms with Cassie as they walk into the living and sit down on the couch as the ladies set up to do their nails, Cassie's nails are blue to go with her blue dress.

They were just finishing up with their nails when Kol who is getting fitted for his tux looks at his sister through the mirror "Rebekah? Tell me how handsome I am."

Cassie smirks as Rebekah rolls her eyes at her brother "Ah Kol, you know I can't be compelled."

Then he looks at Cassie "Cass?"

She smiles coming up behind him "you do look very handsome my love"

He smiles at her "Thank you" then he pulls her into a kiss, making everybody in the room smile at the couple.

Finn is watching the two of them and is having second thoughts about his mother's plan but he knows that it's the right thing to do.

Klaus comes in and ruins the cute moment "You went after Elena? What is wrong with you?!"

Rebekah rolls her eyes, "Here we go."

Klaus looks at his sister "Do you want another dagger in your heart?"

Kol rolls his eyes coming into the conversation "Again with the dagger threats? Don't you have any other tricks?"

"Oh, go back to staring at yourself." Cassie rolls her eyes but lets it go in for now.

"And who are you, my father?"

Klaus looks at him "No, Kol, but you're in my house."

Kol steps forward "Then perhaps we should go outside."

Klaus and Kol stare at each other and Cassie rolls her eyes again getting in between the two of them "Boys behave.... or I will ground you both"

Rebekah bursts out laughing "oh my god.... did you really just quote what I think you did to them?"

Cassie smirks "maybe.... but looks who's catching up on modern television."

Esther walks in looking at Klaus "Enough! Niklaus. Come." Klaus walks into the other room with his mother.

Kol looks at his soulmate "what was that about?"

Cassie just smirks at him "I'll have to introduce you to that tv show later... it's pretty much one of the only television shows that I watch."

Later that night Rebekah smiled at the blonde alien "there, you look perfect, now all you need to do is get dressed."

The blonde alien smiled back at the female original "thanks Bex" she gets up from where Rebekah was just curling her hair and she walks into the closet where her dress is hanging she gets it down and slips it on.

She walks out and put on the shoes that Rebekah is letting her borrow for tonight and there is a knock at the door Rebekah smiles "that would be your date and escort for the night"

Cassie laughs and opens the door "Hi."

Kol's eyes widen when he sees the dress on her "wow Cass you look absolutely breathtaking."

Cassie smiles at him "you look good in a tux."

He offers her his arm "shall we, my darling?"

Cassie takes his arm "yes, of course, my love" Kol leads her downstairs where the ball is starting. Kol keeping his hand on the small of Cassie's back as they walk through the crowd of people keeping her close to him.

Kol smirks at his soulmate "let's go and talk to the Mayor and maybe annoy a Salvatore in the process?"

Cassie smirks at him, "I'm in" Cassie leads Kol over to where Carol and Damon are she smiles at her "Hello Carol."

The woman smiles "Cassie dear it's been a long time."

Cassie nods as Kol looks at the Mayor "Mayor Lockwood. We haven't formally met. Kol Mikaelson. I hope your lovely town embraces us just as much as we plan to embrace it."

Damon looks at Kol and holds a hand out to shake "Damon Salvatore. Have we met?"

Kol doesn't shake his hand "I've met a lot of people. And you don't particularly stand out." Cassie laughs as Kol leads her away from Damon with his hand on the small of her back.
