Just because old magic, the spirits long past, or the GD universe pointed out who you were destined to love, doesn't mean it was any easier. In fact, it made it much, much harder. Good thing Effie had tough bones.

Spending years not as herself, Euphemia finds herself thrown for a loop when she is suddenly faced with past and present all at once. Plagued by the grief that drove her away in the first place and desperation to keep the opportunity presented to her, Effie missed all the signs that were right in front of her and it was too late to turn back now.

Love was not something she had considered in any phase of her life, not when she had dedicated everything to her family. With Edward and Bella, Effie knows she's in way over her head but she's going to put in one last rally before the end.

It has been a while since I have posted anything that was new and not just a continuation of something that I have been working on previously. It has also been a good while since I've sat done and dedicated myself to any kind of writing, so I hope you all do enjoy it.
