7.-Daddy's Office
Dear Diary!
It's me NPGGG. I saw Joe today! He was with a girl. I don't know who she is. I think Joe likes her! She had red hair and green. I think she is pretty. Her voice is kind of like Daddy's voice but like a girl. I think she likes flowers because there were in her hair. I think she lives with Joe now. I don't know what Scar will say. Will he be angry or happy? I do not know. She is very pretty thou.
The boy grinned at his work, stale green eyes looking over the paper. "ARGIEEEEE! I WROTE SOMETHING FOR MY DIARY!"
A man leaned around the corner, a few loose wires hanging from his silver cheek. "PG, I have to see Daddy for a moment, he's going to help fix me up."
"With your fall?" The boy grinned, standing up. His red sweater caught on his little chair, making him trip slightly before catching himself. "It's okay! I saved myself. I won't get hurt!"
"Okay, PG. I have to go now, okay? Daddy will help me with my fall." The man smiled, bright red eyes glowing only a bit. I need to go now, okay? Make sure not to fall."
"I won't fall, I promise!" The boy beamed, sliding the loose bit of his sweater of the chair's back. "I'm going to draw now."
"Okay, bye-bye."
"Bye-bye!" NPG watched his brother walk around the corner, right to Daddy's office.
Daddy's office was big. It had lots of books in it, and a big table with some chairs. Daddy did lots of working in there, like counting money and planning buildings like the house he was in right now. Daddy even did work like making machines, and fixing up anything wrong with NPG or his brother. Or brothers, to be exact.
NPG had two other brothers, Grumby and Jumby. Jumby was helping sell stuff for Daddy, he works somewhere on the big island. Grumby was somewhere NPG didn't know. Daddy said it was somewhere nice.
The dirty blonde sat down on the ground, in the middle of a big fluffy carpet. Fluffy was one of NPG's favorite words. It made him feel nice. He picked up a slice of wood, a piece of paper, and his crayon box. He opened the box and set the paper on the wood and the wood on his lap. He spent a while drawing.
First, he drew Daddy. He drew Daddy's light brown hair and red shirt and gray pants. He drew a big smile on his face, Daddy was always very happy.
Next, he drew RG, NPG's biggest brother. He drew his grey-brown hair and his red shirt and funny brown pants with the patches on the knees.
Then he drew Grumby, with his big blue eyes and mustache on his big black TV head. He drew the funny buttons on his chest and his long silver arms and legs.
NPG stopped, getting up to grab a picture from his own little bookcase. The picture was of Daddy and his brothers. The little robot looked at Grumby, then Jumby, then at Daddy. Daddy looked different than now. Daddy had shorter and cleaner hair, and light gray eyes instead of his dark ones with the circles under them.
NPG didn't remember this picture when it was taken. It was a year or something old. He looked the same in them, too. RG looked smaller and shinier now, though.
He went back to drawing, doodling Jumby's little TV head. He drew on his big blue eyes and tiny mustache and little pink cheeks before hearing a loud bang from Daddy's office, then a yell.
NPG was used to this, but he still worried a bit each time it happened. He stood up shakily, putting his crayons on the ground before walking to the door of his room. He opened it to the hallway before turning right to Daddy's office.
"Daddy? Are you okay?" He called, knocking lightly on the dark oak door. "Daddy..?"
NPG opened the door slightly, peeking in. Robot Grian was in a corner, colorful, thick wires hanging out of his stomach. The entire metal panel keeping them in was on the floor with a large foot shaped dent in it. His eyes were wide, glowing bright red as he looked shakily at Daddy. His hands looked like he'd just lowered them from his face.
Daddy was kneeling on his desk, face and the top of his carmine shirt covered in dark power. He looked, stunned, at Robot Grian. "RG, I-"
"Daddy, what's going on?" NPG asked, still clutching the side of the door.
Daddy's eyes shot to the short boy, rushing to pick him up. "It's okay. Brother just had a little problem, nothing's wrong-"
"Oh no." The man in the corner said, holding up something in his hands.
"What?" NPG tried to turn around in his dad's arms.
"Oh no." Daddy's eyes went dark as he dropped NPG. "Enjie, please leave. You can make yourself a snack and draw, okay?" He rushed over to Robot Grian, shielding his torso from the boy.
"Daddy, is he alright? What's happening-"
"He's alright! Argie is only a bit sick, can you please leave right now?" Daddy looked back at his second-youngest son.
"But Daddy, his eyes are weird-"
"GO!"
NPG stopped, silent. "D-Daddy-"
"GO! GO AWAY! I'M GOING TO FIX THIS, JUST GET YOUR ASS OUT OF HERE!"
NPG ran. He didn't even close the office door, he just ran, tearing pricking his eyes as he tripped into his room, slamming the baby blue door. Daddy wasn't like this, ever. Daddy was nice, he was sweet. Daddy cared for everyone and he loved everyone. Daddy never made any mistakes and he was always correct. Daddy's never done anything wrong, ever.
The dirty blonde stumbled over to his bed, right across from his little desk. He snatched the blankets, throwing them over his head. What did he do wrong? Will Argie be okay? He tried to stop like Argie taught him to, but his tears started to fly down his cheeks onto the white pillow. His breath drew shaky and he scrunched his eyes shut as he choked out loud sobs. Why was Daddy like this all of a sudden?
