CHAPTEN TEN
"Hello, again." A raspy voice called out to her. The weeping monk stood in front of her, observing her. She looked around seeing fights occur, Arthur and Gawain were busy fighting and had no time to spare to save her. "You don't want to fight me." Her bright blue eyes sting against his dark blue eyes, memorized at each other. They couldn't keep their eyes off each other. Slowly, she backed away only for him to keep walking towards her. "You don't want to fight me but, I can't let you walk away." Screams of agony could be heard around her. Doesn't he know that he is a part of this mess? He is killing children. "How is this sane? Your red brother's killing children, you stand by their side. It makes you guilty." Gwen continued. "You watch them with your weeping eyes. At the end you don't do anything!" Immediately, she pushed him, frustrated. She kept pushing him away, pulling all her anger at him. It looked like it wasn't doing any damage on him. "Fight back. Fight back." She demanded in tears. She stood in the distance as the air began to violently blow.
Dust appeared, she shivered widening her eyes. She turned to see him, confused on where this dust storm is coming. Slowly, she began gasping for air, gulping in fear. She tried to see her surroundings but she didn't see anything. Debris rained down. Dust clouded the air and shadowy figures surrounded Gwen swaying and falling and getting back again.
Loud voice eco in her mind. The sounds were awful, deafening. The ground shook violently, immediately dust overcrowded the both of them in different views. Loud voices can be heard, she turned around trying to see where the loud screams came from, she couldn't see anything. Suddenly, a man runs up to her screaming, only for her to fall back on the ground. She watched in horror what was unfolding in front of her. The weeping monk stabbing his sword into the red paladin stomach. Even, he looked in disbelief staring at what he did. Gwen stared widely at him, curiously. The weeping monk jerked Gwen up to her feet.
Gwen gulps, in fear. She accepted his kind offer, taking his hand whom he was offering. A splintering, shattering noise split can be heard. As she took his hand he pulled her up closely looking around his surroundings. Honestly, she was scared to be there alone with the weeping monk.
"Gwen!" Gawain screamed in an unearthly sound that somehow rose about anything. She heard his voice, turned once more to look at the weeping monk but touched her face noticing blood. She could see the red paladin blood on her face. She quickly let go of the weeping monk hand staring wide-eyed at him. It looked like he didn't mind if she went, she didn't get it. Something is wrong. He won't let her go this easy. Slowly she backed away leaving him in sorrow and guilt. Blood streaked her face and looked sorrowful and midst of coldness.
She began walking around. Running towards across the field. She heard her name being called much louder. What she couldn't stop thinking? The weeping monk just saved her life. Suddenly, something hit her head causing her to lose her consciousness falling onto the ground.

Her eyes began to open, she was laid on the ground. Immediately, she widened her eyes looking around herself trying to stand up, only to notice her hands tied up. "Good, you're up." Gwen turned to the side to see a Red Paladin, who seemed surprised to see her awake. He left only to come back with the weeping monk.
"You." She whispered in a low tone. She knew he couldn't let her go that easily.Instead of saying anything, the weeping monk immediately walks over to her picking her up, holding her around her waist. Gwen winced once his hand touched his waist, pulling her up on his horse. He then proceeded to mount behind her. Both of them, mounted on his horse, as Goliath ride."We have a long way to go. Tell us where the Fey are?" Gwen should have known better not to get caught. This was her own stupid fault, she rolls her eyes for getting herself caught by the weeping monk again. The horse began to walk, she tried to look who's behind them, she managed to see about five or six red paladins. She started to get worried. "Over my dead body," she taunted him, refusing to utter a word about the sanctuary. A red paladins riding beside them, turned red. ''This bitch, should be punished.''
"No! She will not be harmed." Gwen turned to face the weeping monk in disbelief. He saves her again. What's going on? She was prepare to get torture or hit but he is stopping them from laying a finger on her. She could see his warning meant serious, the red paladin refused to say another word about her.
"Besides, I think I found something," he said, lifting a small piece of purple fabric between his fingers. She didn't know what that was, could it be?
"Send word to Father Carden," the monk looked off in the distance. "Tell him I have found the camp." All she wanted to do is escape and run to warn them. "Ride fast. Return with numbers. Go," The monk demanded. The other men began to turn around, walking away. "Yes, brother."
"No!" Gwen blurted out only for the men to leave. "Please! Don't!" She struggles to get free only for the weeping monk behind her to hold on to her. "I beg of you, the children." Gwen pleads desperately. He managed to get off his horse, taking her from the waist.
"We're saving souls, Gwen." He knew her name. That's when she lost it. "You idiot! Why are you doing this? What hurt you?" She began banging her hands against his chest, feeling his strong muscles he had. He grabbed onto her wrists, observing her. Ever since he last saw her, he couldn't keep her off his mind. Her bright blue eyes and silver hair, she looked so different from the rest of girl, he met.
"There is no need for violence," he speaks. "How do you know my name?" Gwen spoke, on the verge of crying. He turns to face her, his eyes softening. "How could I forget a name like yours?" he replied placing his arms behind his back, "You never stopped talking." He finished causing her to widen her eyes, slightly red. He began speaking, "You're indeed a beautiful girl." That's when she looked at him with widened eyes, began to struggle trying to break free to hit him again. "You have no right to say that to me!" She started to struggle to break from his embrace, frustrated. How dare he called her that! He had no right! He doesn't even know her.
"You need to stop!" He manages to blurt out, still holding on to her. What haunted him at night when he slept and how has he become a paladin without wearing those horrid red robes? So many questions, she couldn't even get a answer from him. "You imbecile!" She spitted on his foot causing him to chuckle. "Your words don't hurt me."

Then, Red Paladins began to surround them. The weeping monk looked at her once last time than proceeded to climbed onto Goliath, sitting behind Gwen and moving his arms around her. . Within an instant, they ran in the direction that looked familiar. They all shouted, their voices becoming one. He leads Goliath closer, and stops him right before Gwen. "You will stay here," he commands.
"There is no one here!" It was empty. She couldn't help to show a wide smile. They left. Gwen smiled feeling relief. "What are you smiling about?" one grumbles, his sword pointed at her."You are all too late," Gwen replied, smiling causing them to rolled their eyes. She looked like she hasn't showered in days. How can he called her beautiful girl? When she looked like this? She slowly began to think trying to understand. She could noticed he mean't well, he is struggling with himself, inner darkness. He is lost.
He proceeded to bring her down from the horse still keeping his hands around his waist, till she noticed it. "No, you may not." Immediately Gwen heard a familiar voice. It can't be, she thought everybody had left. It can't be Gawain. This can't end like this. It's still to early, Gawain didn't have to face him the weeping monk, yet. Why did he stayed behind? Why? This can't be. No. The monk turned to look at her hearing the same voice. "Perfect. Perfect." She widen her eyes in disbelief, this can't be. She touched grabbed his hand, holding him back.
"Please!" Her voice trembled when she said those words. "You don't have to act this way. I know there is good in you. I seen it." She stared into his dark blue eyes, hoping he could have a change of heart. He did saved her from the one red paladin attacking her. "Don't do this. You can changed from this. There is good in you." Slowly, she watched as his expression softened, it felt like he was listening to her, she began to plead so desperately trying to make him to understand. Gawain voice started to get louder, it seem like he was with somebody.
The monk quickly grabbed Gwen covering her mouth, holding her against him. They stay behind a tree, hiding watching Gawain every move. Gawain stumbles upon the dead bodies of many Fey. She wanted to warn Gawain, screamed and yelled for him to run. Oh god, no. She couldn't see. Suddenly, the monk looked at her still covering her mouth, they both stared into each other eyes, unsure what to do. She could see his pleading eyes, to stay put before letting go, jumping to face off with Gawain.
''Gawain!?"
