hello! i don't know if anyone else is still around, but long time no see.

discontinued?

as you can tell from the title, this work is obviously discontinued. i don't wanna give you the usual excuse, but i have nothing else to offer but the fact that i really got busy with life + i fell out of love for these stories i made on this site.

for closure, i'd like to lay out what would have happened in the following chapters if i ever did continue this story. if i didn't get closure at least, i'd be pissed too, so don't worry. lol.

closure?

this starts off at chapter 12: vhope were going to give yoonmin a little push. they basically locked yoongi in the office late at night. but surprise surprise, jimin's there too. he was working late.

they get out through a window, and on impulse because they're tired + overwhelmed, go to a  nearby convenience store in their fucking office clothes. walk around at the empty park. it's late at night, but yoongi finds that this is all oddly calming, and at the end of the night, when yoongi drops jimin off at the younger's apartment, they find that they know each other a little better.

yoongi gets home. grips a pen. he's sure this time.

chapter 13: yoongi asks jeongguk about the warnings writings. jeongguk says he doesn't know about them, and that jimin would've told him if he had gotten writings.

so yoongi writes. he wants to cut things off with his soulmate, because he's found someone else.

taehyung listens nervously. texts hoseok that things will go badly.

jimin goes absent the next day.

chapter 14: department meeting. jimin's there, but he looks blank. the new client they have is kim wonsik, and he has americans on his team that would like to part in the project. their sales department will have a presentation to appeal to wonsik, and they need 2 representatives. jaehwan asks why namjoon and jackson can't just be the reps, since they speak english, but namjoon says wonsik doesn't want them (i wonder why). hoseok volunteers yoonmin. namjoons questions if yoongi can speak in english. yoongi shrugs, "yeah, i can try." jimin looks unsure. but jeongguk and seokjin say they're alright with it. jimin hesitates but says okay.

jackson says the presentation will be on sunday. enjoy, but don't enjoy too much. start working on your speeches.

yoonmin glance at each other, but quickly look away.

chapter 15: vhopekook chapter. jeongguk's cooking, vhope's getting closer, jealousy ensues. hoseok mentions that he got a text from yoongi before, saying that he kissed jimin but thinks that jimin's hesitating on forming a relationship because of his soulmate/their soulmates. taehyung laughs. hoseok says fuck fate, we should tell them, and texts yoongi.

chapter 16: yoonmin chapter. insert filler. they have an alone moment at the venue, basically. jimin confesses that his soulmate wrote that they found someone else (lol fools) and he's sad over it. yoongi says nothing but comforts him. jimin says he's hurt and confused but also he's developing feelings for someone else, so he's unsure of the whole situation too. yoongi says: you don't have to follow the system.

they kiss. jimin pulls away. says it's too soon, and he's confused. yoongi just thinks afterwards. texts hoseok.

gets a notification from hoseok. his eyes widen.

chapter 17: vhopekook. (there's not much planned stuff here but this is how it was supposed to go) hopekook kiss. angst. taehyung: "why didn't you tell me?" (about his feelings for hoseok?) jeongguk apologizes but then taehyung laughs. it's all good, because they both have feelings for hoseok. timeskip, they're cuddling, and then they realize the bit about the writing on the arms. hoseok's their soulmate. holy shit.

chapter 18: yoonmin has an awkward presentation. since the team they were presenting to, consisted of americans, sometimes they'd slip korean sentences in between, saying sorry and explaining the soulmate situation. no one else understood them, but they both tried to keep straight faces. this sounds cuter in my head, and it was supposed to be really cheesy, haha. wonsik's korean though, and he laughs at their cute romance shit, even though it's inappropriate in the matter of work. in the van going back to the office, they hold hands. yoonmin's resolution.

chapter 19: company party for sealing the deal on wonsik's proposal. vkook find hoseok at the balcony of the first floor. they explain that all three of them are soulmates. bam! happy ending. timeskip. bedroom scene of all three of them cuddling. how cute.

chapter 20: went something like this in my head.

[insert yoongi's insight about life after the soulmate mess]

"you look like shit."

yoongi grins at the voice. he looks up.

"jimin."

the end! yikes. how cliche...

reboot?

if i get my shit together, i might reboot this. i love office au's and i'm sad i was never able to finish this / i lost the passion for this story.

and i swear i've gotten better, i'm cringing just reading through these chapters lol. i'm sure there are problematic themes in between, too. please know i've been educated more on various topics. pm me if you've got a concern. 

(especially the bit about yoongi "deciding" to be bisexual, good lord, that was a fucking abomination. what was i thinking? and the vhopekook cheating bits. for god's sake. trust me, i know better now.)
