one.
"you look like shit." hoseok stated, handing yoongi a warm cup of coffee, which the older accepted as he looked to the side gave hoseok a once-over.
hoseok's sleeves were rolled up until his elbows, revealing his forearms. countless scribbles and doodles-- either shitty or artistically satisfying ones-- covered both his forearms, signs of hoseok's soulmate writing on their skin.
as the whole world's population is aware: they all live in a world in which when you draw on your skin-- with any material, may it be pen or a marker-- it appears on your soulmate's skin, as well. at first, people would usually think, oh, so it's easier to find your soulmate but are often wrong.
some people, at the age of twenty-three, haven't found their soulmates. other than that, the soulmate rules don't apply to tattoos, which slightly lowers the chances of easily finding your match.
of course, as it is your own decision, some people end up never finding their soulmate and eventually fall in love with people who are in similar cases. people who aren't soulmates can fall in love. the world works that way.
yoongi never really thinks about it. so far, he hasn't found his soulmate. only the small reminders of places to go and people to meet can be found on the back of his hand, but he doesn't pay attention to it. he hasn't found his soulmate,
and that's okay.
yoongi looked to the side and up at him, cocking an eyebrow. "your arms look shittier."
a light blush dusted hoseok's cheeks as he quickly chose to roll his sleeves down, making them reach his wrists.
"shut up." hoseok mumbled.
a small look of satisfaction plastered on his face, yoongi sipped on his hot drink, hearing someone walk up to them. turning around on his seat, yoongi eyed seokjin, who stood next to hoseok.
"are you okay?" seokjin asked, being inquisitive as always. it wasn't a bad thing-- yoongi's used to it; seokjin being a caring 'mother' figure and all that towards their group. seokjin would always ask how they were when they looked not-so-good or ask them about whether or not they were eating their meals, and it was fine, because really-- imagine how much namjoon had to go through, every day.
it was normal at this point. "yes." yoongi answered. "i just didn't get much sleep last night from finishing the statistics for our sales..." yoongi explained.
"ah," seokjin gave him an encouraging smile. "good luck today."
just as yoongi was about to open his mouth and say something, namjoon's office door burst open, revealing the light blonde who rushed towards the meeting room, afterwards looking at his department's members expectantly.
"meeting, guys." he called, turning around and walking into the room.
sighing, yoongi stood from his seat, grasping his coffee and taking a few sips every now and then as he followed seokjin and hoseok to the meeting room. upon entering, they all went to their respective seats, seokjin rushing towards jaehwan and giving him a greeting.
unnoticed for a while, a male was seated across from namjoon's seat, looking down at papers. beside him, hoseok gave yoongi a questioning glare, yoongi responding with a clueless shrug.
"okay, guys," namjoon began, "how is everyone doing so far?"
jaehwan shrugged. "meh."
"almost... done." hoseok answered, slowly, slightly unsure.
"everything's going well!" seokjin exclaimed, shooting namjoon a grin.
namjoon grinned back, looking towards the male across him. "as you guys know, we'll be working on a new project very soon. as the boss referred to it as quite a huge project... thankfully, another department has offered to have a collaboration with ours." he looked at his group, then back at the male. "i would like you guys to meet jackson wang, the leader of the department we'll be working with."
the man, jackson, smiled at namjoon and at his members. "it's nice to meet you guys. jackson wang, from department seven. i'm excited to be working with you guys." he shot a wink, "just call me jackson."
hoseok grinned, "nice to meet you, jackson! i'm hoseok. you can entrust me with your hope."
yoongi tried not to gag at hoseok's introduction, which he found cringe worthy. "i'm yoongi." he looked at jackson. "nice to meet you."
jackson smiled, looking over at jaehwan, eyes lighting up. "oh! i know you. lee jaehwan, right?"
jaehwan narrowed his eyes, slowly nodding.
"i'm kim seokjin." seokjin shot him a flying kiss, his signature move-- all their clients found it adorable.
jackson chuckled, shooting seokjin a flying kiss back for fun.
namjoon, watching his group and jackson interact, interrupted them with a clear of the throat. he nodded over at jackson.
"we're glad to be working with you."
jackson waved his hand dismissively, giving them all a smile. "it's a pleasure."

sighing tiredly, jackson entered his department.
he genuinely felt like turning around and going back to namjoon's.
just as he stepped into the room, mark stepped out of the break room, pausing briefly to give jackson a small wink. jackson rolled his eyes, walking over at the three youngest boys of their team-- a laughing jeon jeongguk, a snickering kim taehyung and a sleeping park jimin.
with a frown, jackson yelled at them, "yah! why are you guys not working? we've got a huge project ahead of us."
taehyung, cursing under his breath, looked towards jackson. "how about you?"
"excuse me," jackson said, "i was busy planning things with the department we'll be collabing with."
mark sits down at his desk, looking over at the four of them. "trust me, they haven't been working all day."
jackson groaned, striding over. "guys--" he was about to scold, but his eyes widened at the sight. "--what the fuck did you guys do ohmygod."
jimin, who was asleep, was leaning back on his seat, mouth slightly open and letting out very quiet snores. his light blonde hair was pushed back, revealing his forehead, which was covered with three, badly drawn (using some kind of black marker) dicks. from below his eye to the bottom of his cheeks were tear-like drawings, making it look like he was crying. currently, the youngest of the three, jeongguk, was filling the tear marks using a blue ball pen.
mark walked up behind jackson with a frown. "how did jimin not wake up?"
jackson stared at him in disbelief. "how did you not stop them?"
mark shrugged. "i was in the break room all morning."
as he was about to fight his own soulmate, jackson stopped and averted his look from mark to jimin, who let out a low hum, slowly sitting up and stretching his arms whilst blinking. licking his lips, jimin stared up at the four.
"did i miss something?" jimin mumbled.
jeongguk hummed.
jackson buried his face in his palms in disappointment. "just go. just go wash your face."
frowning in confusion, jimin touched his face for a bit, before pulling his phone out and opening his camera. as he stared at himself through the screen that revealed his current situation, jeongguk and taehyung watched in slight fear, unmoving-- waiting for jimin to make his move.
they watch as jimin's eyes widened, his hand flying up to rub at the marks on his forehead.
mark breathed through his gritted teeth, feeling sorry for the guy. "looks like it's sharpie." he said, before walking towards the break room, leaving a disappointed jackson with the three troublemakers.
taehyung and jeongguk, with sheepish smiles (although taehyung more of simpered) on their lips, brought out two sharpies from behind their backs, jimin staring at them with a black look. guilt wasn't specifically written all over their faces-- it was closer to oops-sorry-but-we-don't-regret-it while jeongguk's was mixed with slight fear.
"oops." taehyung grinned.
as mark gathers some snacks for himself, he hears footsteps echo from outside the break room, footsteps that quickly escalated into steps that sounded like three people were running, muffled yells being heard every now and then.
jackson could only sigh at the end.
