three.
as mentioned before, yoongi doesn't know who his soulmate is. the small reminders of places to go and people to meet are the only signs he'd ever paid attention to, but besides that, there were smudges on his left hand, pertaining to the fact that his soulmate was probably right handed.
exploring further, everyone in yoongi's department is aware of every member's sexuality. let's get one thing straight: everyone in the department was either gay or bisexual.
on yoongi's side, he was sixteen when it happened. he spotted a few words appearing on his right forearm, one day when he was in class. he quickly wore a jacket, concealing them until he arrived home, only then did he read the words,
i'm a boy. is that okay with you?
of course, after that, he started to question his sexuality. before that, he didn't particularly care about relationships, but he'd always refer to himself as a heterosexual individual. but if soulmates were destined to be together (he'd assumed at that time that soulmates would be together no matter what), then that means he'd have to be gay in the near future.
so he decided to be bisexual.
after a few minutes of thinking, he replied, it's okay. i'm a boy too.
but his soulmate never replied after that.
and he let it be. one day, they'd meet. they'd interact every now and then, maybe even go through missed connections. but it didn't trouble yoongi.
to the present day, yoongi still doesn't know who his soulmate is.
and that's okay with him.
as yoongi stands in front of the bathroom mirror, scrubbing at his forehead, he thinks, i'm extremely pissed but i can't be pissed. it's my soulmate. but i want to be pissed. at them. right now. but i can't.
for now, he lets it go.

mark pushed his chair backwards, glancing over at jimin whose desk was next to his. "oh? the dicks are smudged?" he eyed jimin's hair, which was still awkwardly pushed back, revealing his forehead.
jimin smiled, fixing his light blonde hair back to covering his forehead as he replied, "oh, yeah. maybe my soulmate noticed? they did a good job with wiping it off." he bit his lip. "i feel bad for them..."
unexpectedly, their office door opens, revealing a tall light blonde haired man, looking quite troubled. "sorry to disturb," he began, "but good morning. i'm kim namjoon, the boss from the department that yours is currently collabing with."
everyone greets him.
"this is a bad request, but i got permission from jackson hyung. i was wondering if one you could help one of our staff with some paper work? specifically on some stats for sales?"
taehyung let out a low whistle. "i heard that part was really long. what happened?"
namjoon winced. "it was done, but we accidentally shredded them."
"bummer." mark mumbled.
"i'll help out," jimin volunteered, "is it okay if i get your member's email address for the details?"
namjoon's eyes light up. "yes, of course," he bows slightly, "thank you very much. i'll tell jackson hyung about it."
problem solved.

when namjoon comes back to his department, hoseok was doing nothing but spinning on his swivel chair, belting some lyrics every now and then, to a song namjoon could care less about. on the other hand, the other three were nowhere to be found in the area.
namjoon assumes that they're in the break room as he walks toward the said room, entering it to find jaehwan and seokjin chatting on one of the couches.
the other couch was occupied by none other than min yoongi, who was in a deep sleep, looking as dead as a fish.
namjoon strode over, waking the older up with a slap to the forehead, to which yoongi immediately responded to, eyes widening as he sat up. he looked around briefly, before he stared at namjoon.
yoongi scowled, "what?"
"i asked one of the staff over at department seven to help you out with the lost papers. i already told jackson hyung about it, so the guy who volunteered should have already sent an email to your address by now." namjoon explained,
"wonderful." yoongi grumbled, falling back and almost immediately going back to sleep.
three hours later, yoongi blinks his sleep away. being the only person left at the break room, he feels like he'd slacked off too much, so he decides to pull his phone out of his pocket and check his email, being too lazy to step out of the break room.
sure enough, he received a new notification from parkjimin.ie.
Hello, Min Yoongi. I'm Park Jimin, I'll be helping you out with the papers. Please send an attachment with the details and I'll get started right away! Just tell me the small details I need to take notice of. Thank you!
yoongi groaned, looking if he sent any documents from his laptop to his phone. thankfully, he didn't have to get up, because he-- indeed-- did.

here u go
Thank you! :]
this guy seems like a nice person, yoongi thought.
startled, yoongi slightly jumps when he feels a weight on the empty space next to him, an arm wrapped around his shoulder. looking to his side, it's hoseok, eyeing his phone.
"good morning, sunshine. got your beauty rest?" hoseok grinned. "whatcha doing there?"
"don't scare me like that, you shit."
hoseok laughed. "sorry." he said, "oh. you're chatting with a guy from the other department, i assume? namjoon told us that he got some help for you."
yoongi shrugged off hoseok's arm. "yeah."
"i heard that the guys from that apartment are... really damn attractive," hoseok said, making yoongi wonder what this park jimin guy actually looked like. "take jackson wang, for example. actually, besides jackson, i've met one of them and-- wait, which one are you talking to--"
yoongi closes his phone, "you can fuck off now."
hoseok just hummed, getting up. "good luck." he said in a singsong voice, before walking out of the break room.
yoongi glanced down at his phone.
nice to be working with you, park jimin.
