she spoke to me of passion and talents,
music under starry nights,
of hearts and minds being united
then stops short
looking as if she spoke too much
in far too little intervals of breath
and apologises quietly.

all because,
she had one too many people
who told her to shut up
all because,
those she loved broke her heart
piece by piece
for when they overlooked her words
she begun to speak less and less,
