DRL 12

Orenda.

Wooyoung glanced up as the door to the VIP hospital room opened, revealing Minho entering with a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruits. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished, befitting Wooyoung's status as a successful model and kpop idol.

Soft pastel walls and large windows let in natural light, creating a soothing atmosphere. The state-of-the-art hospital bed, where Wooyoung's brother lay with his leg in a cast and his arm in a sling, was surrounded by plush chairs and a small couch for visitors. Fresh flowers in vases and a large TV mounted on the wall added a touch of comfort and normalcy to the otherwise clinical setting.

Minho placed the flowers and fruit on the bedside table, giving Wooyoung a warm, reassuring smile. "How's he doing?" Minho asked softly, his eyes filled with concern.

Wooyoung sighed, his gaze fixed on his brother. "He's stable now. The doctors said he will make a full recovery, but it's going to take time."

Minho nodded, placing a comforting hand on Wooyoung's shoulder. "He is alive, that's all that matters."

They stood in companionable silence, watching the boy sleep. After a few minutes, Minho stood up. "I should get going. Take care, Wooyoung. Call me if you need anything."

"Thanks, Minho. I appreciate it."

Minho gave him a final reassuring smile before heading out. He walked past the elevator and opted for the stairs, descending quickly.

Moments after he disappeared down the stairwell, the elevator doors opened, and Jisung stepped out, looking around before heading to the room where Wooyoung and his brother were.

Jisung entered the room, carrying a bouquet of flowers. "Hey, Wooyoung," he greeted softly.

Wooyoung looked up, a tired but warm smile on his face. "Hey."

"Am I disturbing?" Jisung asked, nodding towards Wooyoung’s brother, who was still asleep.

"You are not," Wooyoung replied. "But, let's step outside so we don't wake him."

They stepped into the corridor, its quiet atmosphere only occasionally interrupted by the distant sounds of nurses and doctors going about their duties. The sterile smell of the hospital lingered in the air.

Once they were outside the room, Wooyoung turned to Jisung. "The company's photographer came to visit earlier. He brought some flowers and fruits for my brother."

"That's thoughtful," Jisung remarked. "How is he?"

Wooyoung's face softened into a dreamy expression. "He's... amazing. Handsome, charming, and so talented. Even with his flirting, he seems so... untouchable, you know?"

Jisung raised an eyebrow, and with a teasing smile he asked, "Ah, that's good to hear, but I was asking about your brother."

Wooyoung hesitated for a moment, feeling flustered. "He is fine, just needs rest."

After their conversation, Jisung excused himself, needing to meet a client at a nearby cafe in half an hour. He walked towards the hospital's outdoor area, a beautifully maintained garden that provided a serene escape from the clinical environment inside.

Cherry blossom trees dotted the landscape, their pink petals fluttering gently in the mid-April's breeze. Benches were scattered along the pathways, inviting visitors to sit and relax.

Jisung sat down on a bench, taking in the peaceful surroundings. The soft rustle of leaves and the chirping of birds created a calming ambiance. It made him fall under a sense of peace and he never forgot to appreciate it.

He glanced at his digital watch; he still had some time before he could meet the client. It wouldn't be good for him to sit alone and too awkwardly amongst the bustling environment of a cafe.

Suddenly, he heard the distinctive click of a camera shutter. He turned his head and spotted a figure with silver hair, capturing photos of two birds perched on a cherry blossom branch.

Oh? It must be Felix's cousin.

Jisung remembered Felix praising his cousin's skills a lot, and it seemed like the person was passionate about capturing pictures. If he had been doing that while the crew members were around, Jisung would have doubted it was just a show-off, but there was no one around, which threw Jisung's doubts out of the window.

He reminds me of him.

Jisung shook his head and looked at the man, watching the person looking at the camera to view the pictures, his back still facing Jisung.

Curious and wanting to say hello, Jisung stood up and walked towards the photographer. As he approached, he called out softly, not wanting to startle the other,

"Hello?"

The person turned around, and their eyes widened in mutual shock. For a moment, they just stared at each other, taking in the changes that six months had brought.

And when they decided to open their mouths, they started with the most awkward and dumbest questions.

"Glasses?" Minho said, his voice a mix of surprise and curiosity.

"Silver hair?" Jisung responded, equally astonished.

Jisung noticed how Minho's silver hair gave him a more mature, yet strikingly handsome look like some Manhwa character. Minho, on the other hand, observed the glasses that framed Jisung's eyes, adding a touch of intellect to his already captivating features.

Their emotions were a whirlwind—relief, surprise, and a touch of longing. Despite the changes, there was an undeniable familiarity, a connection that had remained unbroken by time and distance.

They stood there, the world around them fading into the background as they reacquainted themselves with each other’s presence, feeling the pull of a bond that neither had fully forgotten.

Cherry blossoms swirled and swayed in the wind, their petals dancing in the air like a fairy tale, as if nature itself were celebrating their reunion. The scene felt almost surreal, like something out of a K-drama, with the delicate beauty of the cherry blossoms framing their moment of reconnection.

"So you were the one who visited Wooyoung?" Minho asked, breaking the silence, his voice a low, almost hesitant murmur.

"Ah, yes, it was me," Jisung replied, a soft smile playing on his lips. They stood there, a comfortable awkwardness settling between them. Jisung cleared his throat, the sound oddly loud in the quiet garden. "I have a client to meet, so... see you later?"

"Yeah, same, I have one too," Minho responded, nodding.

They both turned to walk, only to realize they were heading in the same direction. They paused, a shared moment of realization hanging in the air. Jisung was the first to break the silence.

"Are you Lee Know?" Jisung asked, his voice laced with curiosity. Minho immediately nodded.

"But how come? Is it a pseudonym?"

"Yes, my pseudonym is more popular than my real name. So people often use Lee Know as my name; some even thought it was my real name," Minho explained.

Jisung nodded in understanding. "Then shall we go?" Jisung asked, a hint of a smile in his voice. Minho returned the smile, and they began walking together, the unspoken questions and emotions hanging between them.
