Hey! How you guys been? Huh?

You were standing on top of a roof with the rest of the group of dauntless initiates.

Gray.

That was all you could see, ever since birth. Of course no one has ever seen any colour except gray.

Unless, you found your soul mate.

You had never experienced it, but you heard stories of it.

As soon as the two soul mates touched, color sprung everywhere.

You longed to see the colour, but how could anyone fall in love with you, you a normal abnegation. You thought it was good you were in abnegation, everything was gray anyway so it didn't matter.

You knew every color out there, you had just never seen them.

You realized you had zoned out when the blonde scary looking leader cleared his throat. What had you missed?

"Well who's gonna jump first?" He sneered.

You saw the only friend from Abnegation you had ,Beatrice, slip up her hand and walk forward. You admired her bravery and wished you were like her.

You felt a sudden urge in your feet, and suddenly without thinking your feet were moving toward the edge with Beatrice.

Eric glared at you both for a second and nodded "Never thought it would be two Abnegation, but hey surprise surprise," I guess that was the okay for you guys to jump at the same time.

You both climbed up the small ledge and looked down. Beatrice turned and gave you a reassuring smile.

"Lets go initiates, today!" He crossed his arms and continued to stare.

And with that you grabbed Beatrice' hand and stepped off.

You went plunging into the dark hole in the building. You closed your eyes, A little frightened as you didn't know what was gonna break your fall...

Then suddenly you felt yourself hit a net. A net? Who would've thought. You went bouncing up again as your momentum slowly died down.

Now to get off.

Beatrice got off first, she grabbed the hand of some random brunette. You could see their mouths moving but couldn't make out what it was.

Then he lifted his head up and spoke. "One of the first jumpers, Tris," as his head lifted up you got a sight of the most glorious face you'd ever seen, his chiseled jaw line and those eyes were mesmerising. And not to mention the body that came with it. Wonder what he could do?

You mentally cursed yourself for thinking that and crawled over to the edge of the net.

The man extended his hand out for you to grab. Without thinking twice you grabbed his hand and pulled yourself off the net.

As soon as you touched him.

Color. Everywhere.

Mostly black because it was dark. But you saw the green buttons on a screen, the yellow paintings on the wall marking the zone. And those brown eyes that bore into yours. It was like nothing you'd ever seen before, you felt whole and complete now that you were seeing it. And it was beautiful, perhaps the most beautiful thing you had ever seen.

You smiled widely while looking around. You looked up and could see the sky through the hole, and gosh was it amazing, blue everywhere and the clouds, you just couldn't stop looking, it was even more mesmerizing than the brooding man before you.

This was it, this is him. This is my soul mate.

"I'm Four, one of the instr-" he paused for a second, you were hoping it was because he also saw the color.

His eyes changed for a second, and then went straight back to the cold stare.

"The instructors, choose a name and choose wisely." He spoke monotonously.

You were shocked, did he not see the color? What was going on?

"Y/n, it's y/n," you stated as he let go of your hand.

Instantly all the color was gone again, and all you could see was gray, just like it was before.

"Welcome to Dauntless y/n," he whispered into your ear, sending a shiver down your spine.

"The other first jumper, y/n" he yelled out to the crowd.

And with that you walked over to Beatrice, or Tris now since she changed it, with a shocked expression on your face.

"Hey what's the matter y/n?" She questioned.

You thought about it for a moment, did you want to tell her?

After some thinking you evidently decided to tell her.

"When I touched Four I saw colors," you stand nonchalantly .

Her face burst into a small "Wow that's great y/n, you're so lucky!" She exclaimed. "So wait why do you have that face?"

"Because he didn't see anything, or at least he acted like he didn't see anything," what does this mean ? Is there something wrong? "What does this mean bea- I mean Tris?"

"I don't know, but I'm sure it will all be fine." She gave me a reassuring smile and we walked with the rest of the initiates around Dauntless.

So don't worry this one isn't gonna end like that it will have a part 2. I fell like all of them will probably have a part 2, because I don't just wanna make them automatically fall for each other right after they touch yah know?!?!

Also I'm very torn. I'm probably also dumb and just plain dumb but, there is two ways to spell color, and I don't know which one to use!!??! Help me, is it Color or Colour?????? America explain!! Lol(that's a joke I am AmericanXD)
