i.   Kaia already graduated high-school
as she's only a year older than Paul. Age
him up to seventeen and he'll be turning eighteen in six months.

ii.   The reason that she was interested
in Paul was because she used to tutor him in school and they developed a friendship and soon turning to them casually sleeping together until her friend Rachel Black got her eyes on him and considering Paul and Kaia were casual and nothing serious on his "end," he dropped her for Rachel. This ruined a friendship and Kaia has had trust issues on rather it's making new friends or getting into relationships.

iii.   Ever since she's been making herself
money to leave the reservation and everything that she applied to work at a bakery and it's been quite relaxing and fun until the door to the bakery shop opens and as she lays her eyes on the customer it vanishes quickly when it's Paul and in hopes that it's not awkward.. she acts as if she doesn't know him only for him to act oddly after he looked like he was in a daze as he kept staring at her which was making her nervous and asking him what his problem is.

v. Kaia will do her absolute best to
avoid Paul only for him to be annoying her like a lost little puppy who just found his owner. They're a slow-burn because she doesn't trust him because last she heard is Rachel and him are on a break and will resume once she comes back from college. ( That will never happen anymore because he imprinted on Kaia. )

vi. Kaia has a bad temper and Paul
always manages to rile her up because it turns him on and he also loves when she's mad. She isn't a shapeshifter just has a temper.

vii.  Paul has always had strong feelings for
Kaia even when before shifted to a wolf he was just able to mask his feelings and lied to her by saying it was all just casual, as he's never really had immense feelings for Rachel and once he shifts to a wolf and imprints on Kaia all of the feelings that he repressed for Kaia will hit him like a tidal wave. What I'm trying to say is Paul would choose Kaia over Rachel and you'll see that when you being Rachel in the end of new moon ( add a few chapters before moving to eclipse ).

viii.    She loves helping Emily
bake and cook the only good thing out of Paul entering her life back again is him introducing her to Emily.
