The atmosphere of the hospital was such a gloomy aura. Y/n's hand shakes a little bit as she opens her eyes suddenly with a gasp following. The nurse noticed and quickly called the doctor to inform her awakening. The doctor came rushing to the room. Y/n smiled weakly.
"How are you?"
The doctor asked as he checked on her with a stethoscope checking her breathing level and pressure.

"I am fine."

"So now cops will come to take your statement but before that, you can talk to your mom, we will only let them take your statement with your permission. As you know it's your family's being.

"Hmm okay."

Y/n couldn't process anything. Everything was just a blend of hate towards Jungkook. She saw him standing near her room door without any expression. Her tears dropped slowly. Moments of torture flash in her mind. It put a scar on her heart which is already weak. Gripping the sheets the pain shot inside her. She felt her legs burning with a stinging sensation.

She called out for help weakly but no one heard. Quickly the door slammed open and Jungkook rushed in for help. But he got pushed aside by the crowd of doctors and nurses. The pain was gushing inside her.
Nurses helped her to ease the pain in her abdomen. The doctor sighed checking her state with a stethoscope.

Everything was stable now. The doctor said to Jungkook.
"She is okay now."

He saw cops rushing to the room.
One of the officers glanced at Jungkook and he asked.
"How is she?"

"She is awake you can take her statement with the presence of her mother and not mother-in-law."

"Hmm okay. Let's proceed with the paperwork."
The doctor went away.

"Mr. Jeon you have to sign here."

"What is this paper?"

"It's for your recognition as her husband."
The young officer stated glaring at Jungkook.

"Ok, I will sign."

Jungkook signed the paper. A young man in his uniform entered the door with Jungkook following silently.
"My name is Kim Taehyung and I need her biological mother here."

"Okay."
Jungkook gritted his teeth in annoyance at the attitude shown by Taehyung. He went out and called Mrs. Jin into the room. As Mrs.Jin was in the room he waited outside to get over with the negotiations and questioning. His emotions flood into his heart again. His mind was confused about whether he loved her or not or if she hated her. He is unsure of himself. He blamed himself for his parents again and again.

He remembered an event before yesterday. It was the time of his marriage ceremony. All guests arrived. The bride arrived at the center of the auditorium with her father holding her hand. He handed her hand to Jungkook.

Jungkook glanced at the bride and he could say that she was not happy. After exchanging the rings priest announced to kiss the bride. Jungkook removed her veil and kissed her. He realized she was not at all interested in marriage with him. As she was neither forced to him nor was in another relationship.

Taehyung was now out of the room.
"Mr.Jeon."
He called Jungkook making him realize the atmosphere.

"Statement was over."
Silence brimmed in. Thickened air loose as Jungkook spoke.

"What were the next movements?"

"None of your concern it's confidential."

Jungkook sighed. Mr. Jeon his father ran to the officer as he was about to leave.
"Mr. Jin is it over?"

"Yes."
Taehyung replied.

"I need to talk about  something."

Jungkook watched them having an intense conversation which seemed secretive.

"I need to hire an attorney for divorce what are the concerns and do you know any attorneys who are experienced."
Mr. Jin's eyes gleamed with hope.

"I heard you have a son and you can tell him to come over soon I will tell the details of the attorney whom I know personally you might have heard about him anyway. He is an experienced lawyer who worked in Italy as a legal advisor in a company under their cooperation,  he will be coming to Seoul from Italy after completing his work there."

"Oh, when he is reaching."

Mr. Kim checked the time.
"He might arrive by night 7 at Busan Airport. I am going to pick him up."

"Thanks, Mr. Kim."

He nods.
"I am glad I could help you Mr. Jin in return you have to cooperate with the attorney I will inform your case."

"Okay."
Mr. Jin sighed and watched Mr. Kim and his fellow officers walking away. He noticed Jungkook was still glancing at him eyeing side to side while Taehyung purposefully avoided his interruption in his busy time.

Mr. Jin smirked as he saw his state.
"I bet you will know what will be the results of touching an inheritor of the Kim family."

Jungkook heard it and looked down with pain.
But he shook his head and returned to his cold expression with a hidden smirk.
