(Your P.O.V.)

I found Alpha and Uni walking around together not to far away. I told them that Dawn was going to tell us what he found out and we walked back.

I waved at Cory when we got back, he smiled at me.

"So Dawn? What's so important that you made us wait all night?" Cory asked him. Dawn cleared his throat, "Alright so every I try to decoded the logs. I would lose my progress and this strange symbol would appear. It kept appearing continuously and I ended up deciding to look into the symbol itself."

"It belongs to the enclave." Dawn finished. I tilted my head in confusion.

"The enclave? What's that?" I questioned.

"They're sort of a secret government." Dawn answered.

"So is this secret government what's left of the US government?" Cory looked confused as he tried to piece things together.

"That's about right." Dawn helped.

"So we're dealing with some powerful people aren't we?" Cory sighed.

"Oh brilliant." Uni mumbled. "Fantastic." Alpha growled.

"Yeah, that's never good," I ran my hand through my hair.

"So if this mysterious man is part of the Enclave. Does that mean we are being spied on?" Cory started to look frustrated.

"Whether he is or he isn't, We are getting spied on." Dawn corrected.

"Well what are they? Are they like the Illuminati or something?" Cory asked.

"No Cory, that's ridiculous. What are you talking about. " Dawn said.

"Okay well, never mind." Cory muttered. I smiled at him. "So how are we going to get to the bottom of this?"

"It's never too late to track him." Dawn suggested.

"Great, then Uni? Which way?" Cory asked him.

Uni sniffed the air and looked around nervously, "This way!"

"You're making that up aren't you?"

"..Yeah... I actually don't know which way."

"Well we might as well go that way then."

"Yeah well I did smell something from over there."

"Right sure Uni." Cory joked.

I continued to walk next to Cory but I felt someone staring at our backs. I look back quickly but see no one. I frown, soon I start to tune out while Cory and Uni's bickering and stared at the spot we just left. I felt myself slow down and watch as I saw something move. I breathe in and hold my breath.

I jump when I feel someone's arm wrap around my waist. "Are you okay?" Cory asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine.." I stare for a few seconds but turn towards Cory. "Come on, let's keep going."

We continued to follow a path and Cory starts complaining about his armor. I frown and realized I felt the same way.

"You could just leave it." Uni says keeping his head up high. I looked at him, "And let someone take it? After paying all those bottle caps? I'd rather sell it then leave it."

Alpha came up to Uni and hit him with her side, "Yeah, Dummy. If you found a prize bone and carrying it tired you out. Would you leave it?" He looked at the ground.

"Well, I guess not.." Uni put his head down.

"But It makes sense why you would think that." I reassured. I hear Cory sighed.

"We really need to get some water. We really need weapons. They took all our weapons, the only thing that I have that could be considered a weapon is..." Cory pulled a crab out, "Is a crab..?"

I snickered and Cory tossed it to Uni and Alpha. The two of them tear it to pieces. I look up to see few building not to far ahead.

Cory looks around a bit, I wait outside and look around. Cory said that Sky and Ross took all their weapons but I still have mine. So, of course, I making sure no one tries to kill us again.

I hear footsteps behind me and see Cory, He seemed to have found nothing. I put my gun down and Cory stands next to me.

"Nothing?" I asked.

"Nothing. This place is abandoned." He sighed.

"Aww, poor baby~" I cooed, laughing afterward. Cory pouted and I turn towards him. I wrap my arms around him, he does the same.

"This is not good, we need something fast. I know you have your guns still but I hate being useless if we get into trouble. Plus this armor is taking all my energy and-"

"Cory, calm down. We'll find something soon, I prom-" A loud beeping noise starts coming from my armor, "-ise..?" I back up and try to figure out what's wrong.

"(Y/N)? Is everything okay?" Cory asked, obviously worried.

"ENERGYCELLS: LOW. BATTERYPOWER: LOW. ESTIMATED TIME: 4 HOURS AND 32 MINUTES TILL POWER OFF," the weird voice inside my armor says. I nervously look around.

"What does that mean..?" I look up at Cory.

"I think your powersuit is.. dying..?" Cory tensed up.

"It said I had four hours and half an hour so I think I might be fine?" I said uncertain.

"But you'll be fine right?" Cory asked coming towards me. "I think so," I answered. Cory put his hands on my face, "Okay, that's good.." I nodded.

"STOP BEING GROSS." I hear Uni yell from across the dirt road.

"We should keep searching the houses. Don't worry, We can 'talk' later," I winked at him and make my way into another building.

I search the chest to find nothing. I groan and look around for a bit. Then move on to the next. I hear Cory talking to Dawn about the mysterious man. Something about different radiation and him being a ghoul..?

I can't really hear them so I just continued to look around. But nothing around here.

I light up and see a single water bottle in the chest. I happily grab in and drink half of it. Saving the rest for Alpha. She's probably really thirsty.

"WHY DID IT GIVE HER A WARNING?!" I hear Cory shout and I look to his voice in confusion. I bring the water bottle with me as I approach them. I see Cory just standing there.

"Uh, Cory? What's wrong?" I look at him.

"My stupid enerycell is out of power or something. It didn't even give me a warning like it did for you," he seemed stressed out. "I can't go to powerful to powerless again!"

"Cory calm down. What are we going to do now?" I patted his shoulder.

"Since we won't be able to get another energycell. I'm going to have to leave it here." Cory sighed. He slowly made his way out of the suit.

Handsome as ever, differently the best guy ever.

"Wow, haven't seen you without it in so long." I chuckled.

He shivered, "I hate it."

"Yeah, yeah. Come on lets keep going. Maybe we can find something on the way to where ever we are going," I nodded to the distraction we were going.

Cory followed me as we continued to go down the dirt road.

"Dawn are you sure that this water isn't bad?" Cory asked while we stand by a small clear pond. "Yes, the water appears to be good." Dawn answers.

"Huh, appears?" Uni echoes him.

I shrug and refill my water bottle. I took a sip and it seems to be safe. Looking more closely at the pond, It's familiar in some way.

I set it aside and continue walking with Cory, who has an axe now?

Okay whatever, I look up ahead and see bars? For cages with animals in them..?

My eyes widened a bit as I realized where we are.

It's that barn that smelled awful. I've been here before.

"It's this way! The food! It's this way, come on Cory!" Uni says running towards it.

I stand there for a bit then make my way over towards them. Cory was walking pretty slow because he was tired.

"Cory, I don't think anything good is here. While you were gone I check this place out and-" I tried to explain to him but was cut off with someone was heading straight for us. I swiftly pulled out my gun and shot it before seeing what it was.

A feral Ghoul. Something that wasn't here last time I came. I stared at it and hear shuffling from the actually barn. Then a growl, and held my gun up and waited for something to come forward.

"OH SH-" I get attacked by a wolf. It growls at me and pushes its teeth in my face. Cory runs up and hits it with his axe. It starts bleeding and gets off me.

Cory swings at it again and it finally stays down. Cory groans and runs his hand over his arm. A small scratch is noticeable. I get up and quickly check Cory's arm.

"Are you okay? Did it bite you? I have bandages somewhere," I start to freak out.

"It's not bleeding, I'm fine." He grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eyes.

"Sorry.." I looked down. He chuckled, "It's fine, let's keep looking around." He let go of me and walked closer to the barn house building. We go inside and find some more ammunition.

While he looks around inside, I stood outside with my gun held high. I made sure no more wolves came at us. But, of course, there was more of them.

I tensed up at every growl, it sounds like a lot of them. I hear something move behind a pole. I look back to where Cory was talking with Uni.

I hear a loud bark and turn back to see another wolf slowly making its way to me. I pointed my gun at it then pulled the trigger.

The wolf hits the floor. I shiver and put my head back.

"2 HOURS REMAINING. I SUGGEST YOU FIND A ENERGY-CELL." The voice inside my suit said. I groan and make sure no more wolves come near us.

"2 more hours, that's going to go by so fast." I said to myself.

"Okay so, We found a few good things." Cory smiled holding up small hand gun.

I smiled back at him, "We should head inside the house. Probably be able to find something in there."

Cory nodded and we walk towards the house, also killing a couple more wolves on the way. Making a few stops inside a couple more buildings.

But we head to the farmhouse in the end. Yet again only to be stopped by Dawn.

"A fair warning before going inside. The radiation levels are rather high. Probably because of those guys."

"Do you think he's in the house?" Cory asked but was interrupted by some yelling inside the farmhouse.

"That sounded like Adam." Cory looked very pale.

"But, last time I came.." I trailed off. "Lets check it out." I walked inside confidently.

"1 HOUR REMAINING," the voice said once we were inside the house.

Cory went upstairs while I stayed in the kitchen. I check the cabinets and find a crap ton of food. I hear movement somewhere. Trying my best to pinpoint it.

"I think I feel a draft." Uni says sniffing at a wall. I went over and pushed the spot where Uni said there was a draft.

It pushed it open and called Cory over to where I was standing.

"Great, a secret underground room. This is always ends good." Cory says following me into the room. We go down the stairs and I see blood and iron bars. I hold Cory's hand and I flipped the switch that opened the gates.

"Heh, wasn't prepared for all this." Cory commented once we got inside the room. There was blood everywhere and meat hanging from chains attached to the ceiling. I felt sick from seeing all that.

I held Cory's hand tightly and we continued to walk past all the blood and gore. We found a couple things of amo and head into another room.

Geez I really hope that Adam is not here.

We head into the room, it also had blood everywhere but has beds too. I go to look in a chest but suddenly two ghouls come from the next room.

I let go of Cory's hand and pull my gun out. While Cory was hitting the first one with his axe, I shot the second one right in the head.

I sighed and went into the next room the ghouls came out of. I hear Cory going through the chests in the first room.

I look around and see a cage, someone was inside.

"Adam?" I whispered as I approached the cage.

"Who is that?! That voice it sounds so familiar.." Adam's face has blood all over it.

"Adam! It's me, (Y/N). I'm going to get you out of there." I reassured and flipped the switch. Adam's face is full of fear and anger. He flinches when the cage is opened.

I slowly walked towards him but he tenses up.

"I'll kill them. I'll kill them all." He kept muttering to himself.

"Hey, it's okay to be anger. All that has happened to you, they probably deserve it." I said calmly.

"Get away from me!" He yelled. I backed up leaving a way for him to leave.

"Adam? Adam!" Cory runs in but I quickly pull him back.

"He needs to cool down. I think we should just leave him alone until he's ready to talk." I explained to Cory. He nods.

"Watch your step, Adam." I followed slowly behind him.

Adam makes his way up the stairs, groaning that he hated stairs. He stops halfway up the stairs and turn towards me. He was definitely shaking with anger.

"It's all your fault! You left us! And-and Cory, if you would've left me there. I wouldn't be here right now. It's all your fault!" He yelled. I just frown and waited for him to get up the stairs.

I really hope he's going to be okay...
