(Your  P.O.V.)

"He obviously doesn't like us right now," Uni pointed out as the four of us stayed behind Adam. 

"Makes sense, for all he knows is that we are the bad guys," I continued, "He has the right to not be happy with me.."

"Why?  You didn't do this to him," Cory tried to defend me. 

"But I left you guys, I shouldn't have been so selfish. I could've helped with those Ghouls," I explained. 

"It's not your fault, (Y/N). Let's go talk to him now," Cory pat my shoulder and went up to Adam. Who was still trying to calm down. 

"Adam, wait- hold on. We tried our best to get here. But there were a few things that messed that up," Cory explained to Adam. 

"I know, it's just that everything took an unexpected turn," Adam said while taking deep breaths to calm down.

"Yeah. You really did trust them, it sucks that they did that," I tried to add to the conversation but only got a glare from him. 'Yeah no that makes sense. I left. Geez that's such a selfish move,' I winced. 

"I was down there so long, It was terrible. I'm not gonna let this slide. They'll pay for this," Adam walked out of the barn house.

"Where are the main three?" Cory followed him with Uni close on behind him. I went with them as well.

"I'm not sure, but I hope they rest in hell," Adam went towards a small barn that was off to the side.

"Well, What about the feral that was going by different names?" Cory stood there and watched him walk away. 

"They ran off when a few bounty hunters came," Adam informed us.

"But I didn't see anything when I came here..." I look away, confused. 

"What did they want? What were they doing..?" Cory asked. 

"They were trying to get info out of me, give me a minute to look for something," I could hear him going through stuff in the small barn.

"What should we do? How do we help him?" I asked them as soon as Adam went looking for what ever he was looking for.

"Maybe bandage him up. He looks hunger, probably hasn't eaten in weeks," Uni suggested. 

"What's he doing now?" I look to the barn he went in. 

"I dunno but whatever it was they shouldn't get away with it," Uni growled.

"Yeah well, they'll get the pay back they deserve," Cory looked at the ground. "We can't let that slide, We'll find that ghoul."

I watched as the bloody ghoul came of the barn and stood next to us. 

"So what kind of information did they went?" Uni ask him.  

"They keep interrogating me about some guy in a hat," Adam told us. I looked to Cory to see him in deep thought.  

"The more I told them I didn't know, they worse they interrogated me," Adam explained more. 

"That guy in the hat was the one that let us out of a cell the bounty hunter left us in," Cory explained as he continued to listened to what Adam was saying. 

"What? Bounty Hunters?" Adam asked him, in confusion. 

"The ones that shot me and Uni. That's all I remember before they took us to that underground world," Cory informed him. I shuffled nervously at the mention of my Bounty Hunting... friends..? 'Are they my friends still..?'

I could tell that Adam was a bit enraged by this fact, "You telling me that they are reasonable for putting that bullet in you?"

"Heh, yeah but oddly enough they're the ones searching for the ghoul that did this too you," Cory chuckled a bit. 

"If they were here right now, I would tear them a new one," Adam growled. I tensed up again. 

"This is crazy, how we got dropped into this mess..." Cory sighed. I looked down and looked at Alpha who was being quiet through this whole thing. No one could understand her besides me and Uni. So I guess she's not going to say anything. 

"They questioned me about everything on him. But I kept telling them I didn't know," Adam started again. 

"Well we know that he's a part of The Enclave. Do you- Do you know anything about them?" Cory asked Adam. 

Adam shook his head no, "I don't know anything on them, What is The Enclave?"

"More like who, They're some type of secret government," Cory told him. 

"This is such a tangled mess, so many things are happening," Adam sighed and looked at the barn house he was trapped in for who knows how long. 

"Well that's what happens when you're Cory's biggest fan," Uni slightly joked. I left out a small laugh. 

"All that aside," Adam looked around, "Where's nick?" I looked away and though about the possibility that he could be hurt somewhere. Maybe even worse.  

"About that..." Cory said grimly. 

"Don't tell me something happened to him. Come on Cory, be honest with me. What happened to Nick?" Adam looked at Cory desperately.  

"He's dead alright?! He died," Uni growled but was obviously in pain at the thought.  

"He didn't die! But a Deathclaw, it got to him," Cory looked at Adam. 

"I can't believe that happened. I mean he was pretty persistent with the whole bottle caps thing. But Nick was a good guy," Adam look at the ground. 

"Well, what should we do?" Uni asked after a moment a silence. 

"A funeral, We should do a funeral," Adam suggested.  

"A Funeral?" I tilted my head at the idea. 

"Yeah, I mean he was our friend. A friend that never let us down and left us," Adam snapped at me. 'Ouch, that's gonna sting' I frowned. 

"But people die in the waste land all the time," Cory said.

"This isn't some random person Cory. It was Nick," Adam defended himself. Cory shrugged and looked around the place. 

"Look I was looking for something in that barn. Do any of you have a lighter?" Adam asked us. 

"You want to burn this place down?" Cory smirked. 

"Read my mind Cory," Adam smiled at him.

"Don't you have a lighter somewhere, (Y/N)?" Alpha whispered to me. I lit up and unzipped my back and took out the small lighter. 

"There was gasoline in the back of one of those barns, I can help pour them out over this hellhole," I offered, handing him the lighter. 

"...Sure," Adam agreed before taking the lighter. I smiled a little bit then turned and ran to where I saw the containers of gasoline. I grabbed two and carefully made my way back to where my group was standing. 

Cory ran up to me and grabbed both plastic cans. He smiled at me, "Good eye." I smiled back. "Let me get the rest." He nodded and went back to give one of them to Adam. I grabbed the last on and, once I was back at the barn house, started dumping it everywhere. 

I set the can down and walked over to Adam who had the lighter started already. "Do your worse," I looked down at him. 

He nodded then moved the flame to the flammable subsidence. "I'm sick of this place, Can't wait to watch it all burn down," he said, stepping back to watch as the house was soon in a beautiful yellow and red blaze. 

I watch as the flames took over the whole place, soon spreading to the others. I stepped back at how big it was getting. 

"We should go now, Come on (Y/N)," Cory grabbed my arm and tore me away from my daze. 

"Right sorry, Where are we going?" I looked to him. We started to pick up the pace to get out of there faster. He moved his hand from my arm to my hand. He's...holding my hand..?

"Uh- Adam says that he thinks he saw a place where we can have Nick's Funeral," he turned to look at Adam talking to Uni ahead of us. 

I frowned, "You don't think he's really dead, do you?" 

"This is the waste land, but maybe he is alive out there somewhere," Cory said somewhat confidently. I looked towards our hands that were tangled together, my face started to feel hot. 

"Cory, can I ask you something..?" I looked at him, he looked back. 

"What are w-"

"SHUTTING DOWN IN 5 SECONDS." the power suit started saying. I let go of Cory's hand and quickly started to panic. 

"5."

"(Y/N)? Is that your suit?" Cory looked at me as I stood still. 

"4" 

"Yeah, uh, it's shutting down," I looked at all the warning that were showing inside the helmet. 

"3"

"The hell are you two doing?"

"2"

"We should be heading to that place now," Adam stopped and looked at me. 

"1. ARMOR SHUTTING DOWN...." I pause and realize that I can't move anymore. 

"(Y/N) get out of there," Cory said, going to grab my helmet. He takes it off and quickly he's face goes red. 

"Ugh, great. Now I have to be powerless again," I groaned as I slowly step out of the armor. 

"You're a Bounty Hunter, you've survived without it in worse situations. Sucks we have to leave it behind though," Adam says turning around and continues to walk forward. 

I pout, "Hmm, whatever. Cory?" I looked back at him to him staring at me. 

"What?" I ask with an eyebrow raised. He opened his mouth but nothing came out. 

"Cory? Earth to Cory?" I turned more towards him.

"I forgot...how... beautiful you are...." Cory finally said. 

I blushed at the comment and quickly turned to grab my bag and followed Adam..

"Wait! (Y/N)! Did I say something weird?!" Cory ran after me.

"Any words?" Cory said staring at the empty grave. 

Uni stepped up, "I'll go cory." 

"Nick you're the only one who didn't annoy me, or smell weird," Uni said, somehow you can tell that there was some type of pain in his voice. But he had a bad choice of words.  you wer an amazing person

"Come one Uni, be serious," Cory nudged him. 

"I am! Nick you were an amazing person," Uni whined.  

"Probably not the best time to crack jokes," Adam commented. 

"Nick was-" Uni seemed to have some trouble, "Nick was- He was the- I can't do this!" he rushed over to Alpha. She tried he best to comfort him. I smiled softly at the two of them.  

"It's alright Uni, Here I'll go next. Nick, if you can hear me, I feel guilty. I should've been there to help some how. Maybe fight that Deathclaw or laid down my life for yours. I don't-" Adam looked like he was starting to tear up.

"Adam don't blame yourself, You couldn't have done anything about it," Cory tried to ease his grief.   

"I just- I can't believe it, I'm gonna miss him," Adam looked at the grave then stepped back. 

"Well, guess it's my turn," Cory said nervously. 

"Hey Nick. Um- You know, like everyone kinda said, you could've toned down the jokes. But I'm glad that we found you. You made the world decent enough for us to survive in," Cory stopped and I realized that it was my turn.  

"Wow so, uh, I know not everyone go your jokes but I always thought they were funny. It's been a really wild ride and you were some how tried to make some type of business during them. You may have been a coward at times but I'm happy to have met you.  The rest of the group too. I-"

"And you talk about us doing some type of funny business. When in reality, you decided to let your boyfriend and the dogs free. I thought we had a deal?" I hear a familiar voice behind me. 

"Huh? Who are these guys?" Adam looked at Sky and Ross. 

"Yeah, remember those bounty hunters I told you about," Cory informed him.  

"Ross look, a new friend!" Sky joked. 

"If I had my gun right now I would blow your head off for doing what you did to my friend," Adam growled.  

"Is that so, I don't mind going toe to toe without any weapons tough guy," Sky put his weapon down. 

"Now now sky," Ross tried to calm him down.  

"What do you want? We already took care of the ghouls," Cory said. 

"We needed them," Ross informed us. 

"They had information on the enclave," Sky brought he's gun back up.  

"They were also bounty hunters," Ross said. I started to think of every bounty hunter out there. Trying to put the pieces together. 

"....What?" I whispered to myself.

"Then you had to go and burn the place up," Sky told us. 

"What? No they couldn't have been!" I finally figured out who they were. I remember back when I was still bounty hunting about some guys with hidden information. I even saw some jobs for it. 

"Yup, Dear (Y/N). That was them," Sky smirked. I saw Cory tense up at the 'Dear' part. "Now were back at square one!" 

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't put a bullet in each one of you," Ross said pointing the gun at us.  

"...Because I can help you find the man," Adam spoke up. 

"The man in the hat?" Sky asked, slightly surprised. 

"He's bluffing," Ross said keeping his gun on us. 

"I was in that house for weeks. I heard all the ins and outs. I can lead you through this or we can work together and find him," Adam offered. 

Ross slowly put his gun down and look at Sky. Sky turned to him as well. It seemed like they were trying to figure out what to do. 

"Fine, Go ahead of us so we can keep an eye on you," Ross moved out of the way so we could move through. 

"You're not getting away this time" Sky smirked again. 

I passed by them, I could feel their eyes on me. 

"(Y/N), time for that chat," Sky said as I stopped. 

"What? No, she's staying with-"

"I'll be fine, Cory," I reassured him. He looked at me then turned back to Adam.

"So, what's up?" 

(UGGGGGHHHHH, most of these a/n's are going to be me complaining. But we're getting to the end? Also sorry for all this terrible dialogue. Also I may have typed 'Adam' instead of 'Sky' so sorry >~<. I think I'm gonna do some update on a few chapters. Another thing, most chapters will be super long from now on, 2000 to 3000 words long. Hope you enjoyed this chapter~~)
