{Your P.O.V.}

The group and I have been walking for who knows how long. Its getting tiring and I hope we get to this 'Greenplace' sooner than later. Also this 'Greenplace' they talk about, I don't believe it. A place that isn't effected by the nuke? Yeah right. I just want an adventure right now.

I sigh loudly, maybe not. 

The weather isn't as hot anymore but still, all the walking is terrible. There is a plus to walking with this group. They are hilarious. I've been getting to know them little by little. It's fun to hear their opinions on everything. Especially each other.

Everyone hates Nick need to collect so many bottle caps, oh and his potions. They also like to complain about Nick's jokes, I thought they were pretty funny but whatever. 

Nick and Adam get on each other nerves quite often,  Adam being pretty hot-headed and he gets irritated quickly. 

Adam and Cory are pretty good friends, being friends also means talking crap about the other a lot. Of course it's all in good fun.

I, get along with everyone. I guess. Maybe? Adam still doesn't like the fact that I was a bounty hunter. Nick is always talking to me and tries to make me laugh.

Cory checks on me a lot, he also tends to interrupt my conversations with Nick. Weird, right? Really don't know why, I'm not going to steal his friend.

I wake up at night and find Cory still awake, sitting by our fire. He's just watching it. Cory does this pretty often. I wonder what goes through his mind..

"Cory..?" I call out, voice still pretty scratchy from waking up.

He looks to me, surprised that I woke up. "(Y/N)," he speaks quietly, "what are you doing up?" 

I sit up, looking around at the sky. Realizing it was night, I made sure my voice was quiet. "I don't know, What are you doing awake?"

The fire was still burning, it was getting colder the more we walked forward. Everyone was curled up asleep. 

"Can't sleep," was all Cory said. I nodded and just sat there, quietly looking at the fire. Based on where the moon was, I'd say it's two or three in the morning. 

We didn't sit too far from each other. Perhaps it was because I was tired, but I decided to close the distance. Crawling to sit next to him, comfortable silence. The warmth was very nice, it made me just want to slip back into a deep sleep. But I didn't.

Instead we stayed up, until everyone woke up. 

Cory and I sat in silence for most of the night, but we did talk to each other. Mostly about random crap, things that didn't matter to the world around us. 

We didn't get any sleep, but did get closer to each other. Not like that. I really did feel a connection when I was talking to Cory. I don't know how to really explain it.

Anyway, The group had made it to a camp site area. There was a picnic basket next to the table. "Well, looks like someone is still having picnics around here," Cory jokes and I laugh a little. There was a chest in the corner. Cory quickly looks through it.

"Hey! Looks like we got some crabs!" Cory yelled, being jokingly happy.

Alpha looks towards him, whining softly. I don't know when I fed her last, not good at all. Cory hears her, "Can I give her one?"

I nod and watch as Cory throws the crab to Alpha. She grabs it in her mouth and runs to the side. Growling when Uni got near her. 'Cute,' I thought, smiling at my happy puppy.

 While the others looked around, I sat down at the table. There were carving on the wooden seats. Mostly hearts with initials inside. 

I laugh, the lonely part of me wanting to scratch them all out.

"Woah! Look at this!" Nick exclaimed while holding something up. It looks like a gold key, with a cute ribbon at the end.

I stare at it, it's really shiny and pretty. I feel like I've seen it before..

"I wonder how many bottle caps I could get off this," Nick said, looking at the glimmering object. I quickly jump in, "Wait no!"

He looks to me, surprised. "What?"

"You can't just sell it," I explained. "Gosh, seems so... I don't know. But I think I should keep it."

"I bet you want it because it's shiny," Nick protests, moving the key away from me.

"Nick seriously. Just give me the key!" I pout and jump at him. Trying to get the key from his hand. 

Finally able to pin him down and pluck the key out of his grasp. He frowns, "I could've made so many bottle caps."

I notice that I was sitting on top of him and quickly get off. "Sorry! But it had to be done," I smile nervously. 

"Are you guys done messing around?" I hear Cory ask for up ahead. Once I looked up to see his face, he was clearly irritated but our sudden stop. 

"Yeah yeah, Coming!" Nick gets up and dust himself off. 

Cory points to the mountain up ahead, "Guess we should head up that moun- Wait a minute. What's that?" He turns his attention to a metal thing at the top of the mountain. 

It seemed familiar, like most things I find apparently. 

"It looks like a dog bowl." Alpha stated, sitting at my feet. I watched as Uni jumps up and down. He barked excitedly. 

"Uni, Calm down," Adam told him as he watched Uni jumping around. 

"This is the dog bowl?" Cory looked down and asked Uni. 
Uni barked back at him, I assume it was a yes, and looks at the 'dog bowl'. 

"I guess this would be the Greenplace then," Cory continued to walk slowly. 

Adam shakes his head, keeping up with Cory's pace. "I seriously doubt that Cory. I don't see a single green thing in sight."

Cory shrugs, "Maybe its on the other side."

"Never know till we look!" I smile hopefully as I walk by Cory's side. 

We make our way up the mountain, climbing and stopping every now and then so we don't get sick. It gets colder the more we go up, which slows us down a bit.

"Oh! Wait," I drag my bag in front of me and look through it. Finding a few big jackets to give the guys. 

"Here! This should be good enough, at least until we get out of this cold." I smile brightly at them. 

They thank me as I hand them each a jacket. Besides myself.... 

I shiver a bit but continue on, following behind the guys as we keep climbing upwards. 

{Timeskip}

We make it to the top of the mountain, it was probably ten times colder and somehow I survived through it. 

I look ahead and see a campfire still growing pretty brightly. My body moved slowly to it, waiting there while they looked around. 

"You look very cold (Y/N)," Cory comes next to me, grabbing my shoulder. "You okay?"

I manged to form a smile while looking at him. "Me? Cold? N-never. I'll be f-fine."

It was obviously not very convincing and made his even more concerned. 

He sighed, sitting down. "We really need to get out of this cold. We might end up like these guys if we don't." I sit down next to him. Feeling ready to collapse and sleep on the cold ground. 

"Yeah, I really don't w-want to die like this. After all the bounty hunting crap, this isn't the way to go." I pull my arms close to me and shiver again.

He nods and starts to stand up. 

Cory puts his hand towards me, wanting to help me get up. 

I shake my head, "I'm f-fine." I try to stand up, but feel my body collapse on itself. "Ngh..!"

He bends down and helps me up. Damn, I'm losing my strength. 

"I detect movement," Dawn tells us as he looks around. 

We quickly pull out our guns, scanning the dark area in front of us. It's way too dark and the snow falling was making it difficult to see anyone.

"Wait! Right there!" Adam yells out, pointing at something. 

We all turn our attention to where he saw something. But see nothing. 

"I scanned the area, the movement is coming fro-" Dawn tries to tell us something. But shuts down due to it being way too cold. Dawn freezes and we are stuck out here with some random person. 

Everything is happening so quickly, It all mixing up my brain. I can't focus on anything! 

I keep my hand on my gun as I put my other hand on my head. My head... is pounding so hard. Nick helps Cory take Dawn up the stairs into who knows where. 

My body slows down, the wind and snow is blurring my vision. Or was it my eyes? Ah, the fog... is so thick, I can't see anything. Where did they go? I slipped onto the ground. They kept going? Without me...?

I feel myself fall to the icy floor. 

Then black out. 

(Alpha's P.O.V.)

My paws are freezing as I follow behind the mutt. Oh and the rest of them I guess. The snow storm was messing with my sense of smell... and vision. 

Why did we even come up here? Ugh, stupid mutt and his stupid 'Greenplace'.

I turn behind me to see if something was following us. Nothing, just darkness.

I looked back at our 'group' walking in front of me..

Wait.

Where's (Y/N)!?

The wind howled as much as I, and the mutt, does. 

We can't leave her behind!

I bark to get someone's attention. 

Cory look at me, confused. 

Then I look at him and run back down the snowy stairs. I don't know if he's following but as long as I got his attention. 

I run down the stairs, almost slipping a couple times. 

Damn, This is no time for me to fall behind!

I scan the darkness ahead of me, my ears perk up as I hear loud footsteps behind me. 

I think I see her! I yelp as I almost run over the shivering body in front of me.

Oh no, shit what am I supposed to do!!

Panicking, I try to grab the collar of her shirt. But my teeth end up being way too sharp and rip through it. I whined as the snow continued to hit us. Cuddling up next to her, this isn't going to keep her warm...

Don't worry (Y/N), someone's coming. Stay with me a little longer!

Her face is cold, she seemed paler? I really can't tell. (Y/N) doesn't look good at all. 

"ALPHA?! (Y/N)?!" I hear someone call out, getting louder as they got closer. 

That... has to be Cory!!

I bark as loudly as I could. Hoping to get his attention. I watch as his shadow gets closer, and once he saw her on the ground. 

"(Y/N)!" Cory gasp as he leaned down and scooped her up in his arms. Wow! He's hella strong!

I follow behind him as we drag (Y/N) up the stairs. We keep walking and I notice a building in the distance.  

When we get inside I curl up next to (Y/N), who was laid next to a small fire inside the building. I see that they put Dawn next to it as well. 

(Y/N) is super cold, and so am I. Though the fire was small, I... really hope it wakes her up. 

The guys started to argue, I didn't want to think about them. All I wanted was (Y/N) to be safe. Though, it seems like its getting pretty heat-

Adam starts to raise his voice at Cory. 

I don't listen to them, covering my ears as I cuddled next to (Y/N). A nap, that would be so helpful right now. 

Just nap Alpha...

(Timeskip)

I started to wake up, opening my eyes slowly. 

What... are they talking about? 

I raise my head and see a very blurred out Cory watching over me. 

"(Y/N)! You're awake!" He walks towards me.

"Ah, yes I suppose I am..." I sit up. Cory grabs my shoulder softly, "Are you okay? I, didn't even notice you fell behind."

I shook my head, "It's fine, I'm f-fine."

"I- I'm sorry (Y/N)." He lets his head fall in, what I assume is, shame.

"I'll be fine Cory. Just need some time. Thank you for getting me, I think," I smile towards him, even though my body hurt like hell. 

He smiled back at me, though he still probably feels guilty. 

After a while of waiting, Dawn starts to reboot. 

But, of course, it wasn't the end of all this shit storm. 

Adam starts panicking, getting very worked up. He paced back in forth and kept mumbling something about the thing outside. 

Uni tried to tell him something, but Adam couldn't understand him. Adam was yelling at this point, at Uni, at Cory. He seemed so frustrated. 

I tried to ignore it all, Adam is so hot headed. This isn't that new, though it doesn't happen that much.

"If that dog barks again. I'm gonna put a bullet through his head!" He yells. 

My eyes widen as I quickly stood up and point my gun to him. He, really did just say that! I watched as he glared at all of us, he has to be scared. Right?

He's lost it! 

Alpha was awake now due to all the yelling. Her ears were up as she looked to Adam and then Uni. I could see the fear and worry in her icy blue eyes. 

Uni was starting to get scared as well, he's clearly freaking out!

"Uni!-" Cory tries to call to him. At this point he was also holding his gun up. 

He's panicking! Poor Uni.. 

I gasp as I watch Uni look back at Adam. He's getting into a defensive position. That, doesn't look good at all.

"Uni Wait!-" I yell out to him, but It was too late. 

Like the scared cornered puppy he was, he ran and tried to bite Adam. 

Only to get knocked back roughly by Adam. 

Uni slides and hits the cabin wall with a thud.

Cory looked at the two in shock, then glared at Adam.

"Get. Out."

Adam looked at all of us. Then starts to walk to the door. He opens it, letting cold air in.

Before leaving, he whispers a soft, "I'm sorry.."

Then steps out,

He's gone...

I looked over to the others and saw Cory go to Uni's side with Alpha. I stood there, letting my arms drop to my sides. 

Staring at the ground, confused on what to do next. 

What are we going to do now...?

(HOLY HECKING HECK. Updating is seriously better than making new chapters~ But I'm seriously going to try and update more. And post new chapter. The process of making new chapters is so very hard... ANyways hope you enjoyed this chapter~~ Stay tuned for the next one ;D)
