Here are my OCs! Didn't include a ton of information because I wanted some aspects to be left a surprise but here's enough so you can get a basic idea of what they are like!

↳ Kal is the kind of person to tell scary stories to kids to scare them. Partially because he wants to "expose them to the horrors of the world" and partially because he just thinks it's funny.
↳ Kal is not one for jokes. He likes making them, but when it comes to receiving them, he would rather people just be straight up with him. He doesn't appreciate people joking about stealing from the store, or picking a fight with him-because he will pick a fight with them if they get on his nerves.
↳ Kal likes to consider himself very tough. Besides having his physical strength, he also prides himself on never crying and never letting "weak" emotions show. He considers himself so strong to the point where he keeps everything in, even if it's killing him.
↳ Kal may be an introvert, but secretly, he loves being around people. It gives him fond memories to look back on.

clothing style
His signature style is Hawaiian shirts/button ups. He likes accessorizing with necklaces featuring shark teeth, beads, silver, anything that fits his outfit. He can be caught wearing cargo shorts, or khakis if it's a work day, but rarely jeans. To finish it up, he likes to wear beanies or backwards baseball caps.

Doesn't really like kids (at least he says that but he actually has a huge soft spot for them). Gets along mostly with nice, funny people (sort of an opposites attract thing)

↳ Oscar is a very flirtatious person. He believes that if you never put yourself out there, then you'll never get anything. Some of his attempts were successful-at least, they ended in making out, no dating or permanent boyfriends-but most were not. However, that doesn't discourage him. He continues to pursue those he thinks he has a chance with, but immediately backs off if they are straight, in a relationship, and/or state that they aren't interested.
↳ Oscar is a very nice, genuine guy. He always wears a smile and looks on the bright side of things. He thinks that time spent thinking negatively is time wasted. Generally, people love to be around him, but some do think that he is a bit much.
↳ They love people, to the point where sometimes he ignores their faults. He's friends with a few people he probably shouldn't-like homophobes and just general assholes-because he wants to see the best in them. Oscar runs away from his problems. He is horrified by confrontation, and would rather just ignore that anything is wrong and "act optimistic." Toxic positivity, in another way. If he gets into a fight with someone, he'll avoid the issue. He won't deal with it unless absolutely necessary.

backstory

↳ Oscar developed MS (multiple sclerosis) at the age of ten, a very early age to develop the disease. He started by using a cane, but switched over to using forearm crutches for the next four years of his life. His legs aren't completely paralyzed, but he has an extremely difficult-and painful-time walking without his crutches.
↳ Oscar is an only child and lives with his aunt, Tessa, who never married. His parents kicked him out when they found out he was gay, which Oscar still lives in denial about, believing that eventually they will come around. Tessa resents Stephanie, her sister, for kicking him out, and gives Oscar whatever she can on top of her job. She goes to his doctors appointments but, having only been there for two years of his life, doesn't know much.
