hey guys!

so basically, this chapter is dedicated to two types of graphics & both are related to songs that i've been wanting to edit with for a while.

NUMBER 1
( INSTA VIDEO EDITS )

to make a long story short, i've always wanted to make those cute little instagram edits (see: bansheegrimes or beaconforks on instagram) but i never really had the motivation to start... until now. i've recently downloaded a shit ton of transitions for fcp so ig we're doing this.

youtube won't let me upload my one example bc copyright (love that!) but it's up on my instagram (soulofstaars.wps) if you wanna see it. word of caution: i finished that shit in like, under 30 minutes just to have it as an example so... hopefully the ones i make for this chapter will be better? hypothetically?

anyways, all of these will be very short (like 30 seconds to a minute) & i'm only offering these types of edits to the following songs:

IMPORTANT: if you request for this type of graphic, you MUST provide your own HQ clips of the face claims you want in the video. the reason why i never really make video edits, even though i have chapters dedicated to making them, is because i fucking HATE going out and finding clips for people. so yeah. your request probably won't be considered if you don't have an ample amount of clips for both faceclaims.

NUMBER 2
( SONG LYRIC GIFSETS )

basically, these are graphics that will let me play around with the text. i made a gifset for tay (which i'll repost here) as an example of what i'm trying to do. the only song i really want to work with is taylor swift's miss americana & the heartbreak prince, so for this category, i'll let y'all choose songs for the edits you request.

when it comes to songs: pick songs with (1) a good beat, (2) a fun theme, and (3) a mood that matches the book. taylor swift's look what you made me do was fun to work with because it (1) has a fun beat that made working with the text interesting & fun, (2) has a dark theme (like, the song reminds me of the colors red & black and badass women), and (3) it matches the book really well, in that the whole story is about killing robin & lwymmd makes me want to go out and kill a man (jokes, obviously, but y'all know what i mean).

there's a difference between me using song lyrics to make a gifset and the song defining the gifset. so give me some REALLY good ideas if you request for this type of graphic.

keep in mind that i do advocate for diverse face claims, so please, if y'all request with faceclaims of color i'll love you even more c: but this chapter is open for all faceclaims.
