"How did she do that? I mean, how? It's -" I mumbled to myself.

Is she really that capable?

But- but she is just a mere meow speaking monster with no possible harm tagged to her. A mere girl!

And I, I am Zorion Nigel, owner of the multibillion dollar empire and own chains of hotels all over the world.

I'm not boasting but heck, I'm powerful. Influential!

Then how come she was able to do what she did?

"Did I really not pay any heed to the warning I got?" I thought to myself and thought back to all the warnings I got from Almond family.

From Fraser Rio Almond, who apparently is another of Meow's cousins and also who the owner of the small bar I frequent is.

A couple days later, I was having a meeting with the culinary department of my company to discuss the course of menu that my Asian hotels should have and they suggested I call in a famous youtuber who was pretty famous as a food critic. Supposedly, this particular youtuber is loved and adored by the world and does not have even one anti-fan.

Giving it a thought, I went on with their idea to contact and have a meeting with that person. Turned out, the youtuber is Cream Red Almond, who is Meow's elder sister.

She was a pleasant girl. After the meeting, she got into a contract with us to supply her knowledge on food to us for the contracted period.

But that did not end there, just as was about to go, she gave me a friendly warning that I should consider Meow's warning and help her or else if she decided to do something to his empire, then no one can help him.

I did not give it a much thought though. That was my second mistake.

The next day, I, along with King who is also my business partner, attended a new opera play which is produced by the one of my entertainment agencies that King handles.

It was a tradition that any new play shall be played first to the higher management of the company and then will go out to the public.

That was when we stumbled upon her. Theia Rose Stone Almond, A daughter in law of Almond family and wife of Crispin Kai Almond, who apparently is second eldest cousin of Meow's.

To top with that, Theia, the Almond daughter in law is one of the treasured vocal artist in the musical and opera industry and she was playing a lead role in the play our company is producing.

A haughty woman she is, she gave me a valuable advice to help her little sister in law in her revenge or else I will have to face the wrath of Meow's intelligence.

I and King were startled by suddenly getting besieged by Almonds. Where ever I go, I meet an Almond there and to think that those Almonds were working there from past several years or months got me petrified.

'I did know London harvested Almonds.' Was King's reaction when we met Almonds where ever we wend and to be honest, even I was puzzled by the vast bumper crop of Almost in the country.

But that didn't stop there, the same day we went to watch opera, we proceeded to gym to let off some steam that the Almonds are creating in my life.

Guess what?

Yes, you are almost there. Guess!

There we met yet another Almond who is a gym trainer in one of the highly valued gyms in the city. The gym trainer, Bosc Fury Almond, the eldest of the Almond kids and the eldest cousin of Meow, is a man known as trainer from hell.

He was already popular among celebrities for his dietary plans and exercise schedule but he was also famous for his fighting techniques. Most rich try to get him as their trainer.

While helping us with letting out our steam through hardcore exercises, he also subtly threatened me not to hurt his little baby cousin by not helping her.

Good Lord! What is going on?

Why is that the country, mostly London city is filled with Almonds?

Just how many of them are there on this planet?

How come every Almond I meet is Meow's family?

I'm so done with this particular dry fruit family!

'I'm worried once all the Almonds warn you, Cashews will come after you and then Raisins followed by Dates and then Walnuts. I think the dry fruits of the country are pretty unified.'

That was another comment passed on by King after we walked out of gym.

That was when I understood that it was too late to consider their warning. I was a fool. I was arrogant to think a little girl is not capable to even pull a strand of hair from my head.

How wrong was I?

How wrong...

Shaking my head, I glanced over my Ipad again to see if what I'm seeing is really what it is showing there.

"She really did it. But how?" I heard King voiced out, with a mixture of awe and mirth in his tone.

"She really managed to shake the standard portion of stocks of the company. And damn the fluctuation is a bad one if not taken care of immediately."

That's right. The fluctuation was a bad one. Not too bad to even share the core foundation of the business but it was a bad one nonetheless if not taken care of soon.

"I asked for an appointment." I spoke out in a low tone. Right now, I'm completely perplexed. "She will be here soo-"

"Mr. Nigel, Sir, Tiny is here to meet you." My PA knocked the door and walked in a little to inform me.

Meow followed suit behind my scared looking PA and bumped her shoulder to hers with a small thanks.

"You know her?" I asked no one in particular. My PA called her by first name and Meow seems too close to my PA.

"Of course," Tiny grinned at me widely and she receiving a small smile of adoration from my PA. "She is my ninth cousin, Aella Butter Almond. She has been you PA from past few years and you don't know her name?"

No! Not another Almond! Not in my company! Not in my office! Not my PA!

"So is this how you affected my stocks badly? With your cousin's help who is working for me and acting as your spy?" I gritted suddenly a realization dawned unto me.

I was beyond furious when the sudden thought of a spy in my company and too an Almond; the dry fruit I'm starting to hate.

"Of course not, Human sculpture. We Almonds are loyal and committed. She would never divulge any information of yours to us nor would we ask her. We Almonds are proud of our unity and diversity. Unity as a family and diversity when comes to professionalism." Meow said proudly, arching her neck up with confidence.

Sounding proud, she still has this utmost admiration and crush like glint in her eyes for me.

I wonder, is she that taken by me?

I know I'm the most eligible bachelor of the country and a Devil in business circle. My looks are incomparable as everyone always said.

My eyes followed the movement behind Meow and saw her cousin Quince pushed himself inside and stood beside my PA, Aella.

Meow's own translator!

"Butter, go on, I'll be here with Tiny." Quince spoke softly to my PA and the latter nodded and walked out meekly.

Hello! This is my office and she is my employee!

I need to tell her that!

Shaking my anger off, I tried to gulp down the annoyance for now and have a civil discussion with Almond havoc and her cousin.

Sighing as I sat down on my office couch beside King, I raised my head up to see Meow looking down at me with sparkles of adoration in her eyes.

She yet proved that she can do something humanly impossible by grinning from inside of one ear to another. Almost like a joker!

Only, this joker has no makeup.

"So," I cleared my throat, "How did you do that?" I asked as I watched the unwavering grin on her face.

She is beautiful, yes. Hot, yes but she is –

I don't know how to describe her.

"Rumors." She said simply as she continued to grin at me.

I too continued to give her the coldest of my glares all the while. "Explain."

"Nothing to explain; I just spread a normal rumor about you to your investors and share holders. Nothing big." She said with the same plastered grin.

A rumor?

A simple small rumor?

Now that I think, I did hear a rumor in passing. About me farcing my certificates and degrees!

My fudging goodness!

She is –

"So, help me." As those words rolled out of her grinning mouth, I shot her with several shards of ice from my eyes.

Giving her the most chilling glare that could even shiver Antarctica, I took a step towards her nonchalant self like a predatory ready for a kill.

King, just at the right moment, who was silent till then, held my arm stopping me from doing anything bad.

Looking at Meow with a surprised gaze, King gaped at her in shock. "Hey, girl, aren't you scared? Aren't you cold, shivering by those icy glares?" King gasped at the grinning girl.

My glares are most frightening! And the coldest ones are like a death note!

What she replied with something unexpected again and immediately her words backfired my own ice shards towards me.

"The cold never bothered me anyway ~~~"
