Epilogue

Zorion Point of View

Four years later

"You are lucky though. At least you were able to have Injgo walk you through the aisle." Anete complained.

"He walked you through the aisle as well; only the misplacement of brides got Tiny's father to escort you and Injgo escorted Soul." Ilaria shrugged, cuddling into Devon.

I looked at Meow who was looking down at the newly wedded couple with a huge grin. She looks really silly.

It took four years to get tied down to Devon Almond. Devon Almond is no joke. He knows how to have control and he uses it pretty well.

For Ilaria who was known as a monstrous businesswoman in the corporate world, Devon gave her a hard time and tough challenge before he finally married her.

Four years... It took her four years to get him and he used the past four years for taming Ilaria with patience.

Ilaria can be unnecessarily dominating and stubborn sometimes but Devon has done great job with her. It was only during these four years that I came to know what Devon's psychological condition was.

He has an impulsive behavior towards men and irritating levels of patience towards women.

I didn't understand what it meant in the beginning but as days went by, I understood that to men, he is like bullet that was already dispatched towards their head and to women he was like a bullet that is stuck in the gun and cannot be dispatched.

But his condition did help him greatly in his field of job though!

"I'm happy and excited what they are going to be." Meow exclaimed with giggled. She tapped her feet in pure enthusiasm.

"We are in a psychiatry clinic to get our kids checked and you are excited? Four years into our marriage and I still can't believe I couldn't rub off some basic stuff on you."

It is five minutes past four in the afternoon and we are still waiting in the VIP waiting room for doctor's analysis.

"You know I got mine checked a week ago and he is fine." Anete assured.

Am I the odd one out here or people are turned into Almonds leaving behind the least semblance of brain?

"Which part of, our kids having a possible psychological condition like one of her parents, did you find fine about?"

"It's an inheritance, Human sculpture. We Almonds treasure it, enjoy it and embrace it." I know. I'm the odd one out.

I accept that I really enjoy Meow's meowing all the time. Over the past four years, she meows twenty eight days of a month usually all thanks to her helping nature.

While I got completely used to it and these days and starting to understand a meow here and there; I don't want my kids to have some kind of condition.

What if they are looked as outcasts?

What if they are not accepted for what they are?

What if they are mocked and taunted?

Will they have a good life if they are subjected to some kind of psychological inheritance that can rob normal life from them?

But here, only I'm concerned over the future possibilities while the whole family is alright with it.

Anete's son was detected with some kind of condition as well which I did not understand much but Almonds are not Almonds if they are not supportive of everything.

"You worry too much. We lived in the same society with our own conditions till now and we were and are accepted. Heck, Tiny is even a celebrity now due to her situation. They will be fine." Devon assured.

"Mrs and Mr. Allard, Doctor Grimm is ready with the reports. Please come inside." The nurse spoke.

"We shall tell you the results at home so go home and wait for us." The three nodded to me and left while I held Meow's hand and walked into the room.

I don't even know why my sisters were here in the first place when they know they are not allowed into the doctor's room for discussion.

Are they really that interested in this whole situation?

While beside me, Meow almost skipped into the doctor's office with eagerness that can even kill a monster from hell.

"Mr. Allard, Mrs. Allard, please sit." The mid aged doctor said, flipping through the files.

"Doctor Grimm." I nodded back curtly which she replied back with a professional smile.

"The tests are done and the reports are here. Let's start with your eldest daughter, Capria Almond Allard, three and half years old and the older one of the twins."

Of course! Capria, eldest of my three kids who are all daughters. She comes out to be someone who is extremely hyper active. It's as if she consumes energy from around her to stay that active.

In the three and half years of my life with my daughter, I've never seen her in fatigue. She can run all the day nonstop and can still run the next day without any sleep or food.

"She gets overly hyper active when someone tells her to stop or rest; doesn't she?" Meow said with a knowing smile to which Doctor Grimm nodded her head with a sigh of exhaustion.

"Correct. She is usually very active but her body takes her to another level of energy when she is asked to stop being active or forced to rest. I've checked all her vitals and they are all normal. The passion is clearly in her head which has nothing much to do with her physical abnormalities. She has a very strong mindset that provides unusual amount of energy to her body to sustain it."

I totally get it. She just doesn't run or play but everything she does is a bit extra. She even started to talk sooner than usual children do.

But one good thing that comes out of her passion is her words. She is phenomenal with her words and rather extremely sassy.

She is wholly a transformer of infinite power supply!

"That means asking her not to rest or encouraging her to run around like a berserk will put her on pause." I asked more than confirmed.

"Maybe or maybe sometimes. But according to my analysis, the switch to her is in Mrs. Allard's hands. Something or perhaps everything that Mrs. Allard says works for Capria."

Now that I think about it, I find it reasonable thinking over all those times that Meow handles her pretty easily that none could.

"Coming to your second daughter, three and half years old and the younger one of the twins, Delfina Almond Allard." The doctor proceeded with a solemn look.

Ah, I know that look on her face.

While Capria's passion can exhaust anyone around, Delfy can – how to put it in exact words!

"She sings." The doctor said. "Taking after her mother, Delfina sings whenever she hears a 'no' and she sings until she says a 'no' to someone else genuinely. A 'no' that she meant from her heart. The two problems, however, here are; one, I don't know the pattern of her songs selection. It can be something she hears just before that point or something she remembers by heart or just anything. Second and the most troubling problem is her voice." The doctor gulped down a glass of water probably not knowing how to say it.

"Her scratchy voice that can bleed your ears?" I completed receiving a strong nod of agreement from her.

"She sounds lovely to me. My Delfy has amazing voice to be honest. It's just that you don't have suitable ears for her voice." A mother's heart can be so self deceiving!

By the look of Doctor Grimm, even she finds Meow's motherly words ridiculous! And she is a psychologist!

I love my daughters to bits, with or without any problems. But as a father even I agree that Delfy's singing voice is a real deal.

She is one step ahead of her twin when it comes to troubling people around her.

Although she is otherwise calm, smart and an obedient child, her singing voice is –

"Any cure or anything? Any medicine that can change her voice? I've been having pangs of headache from her singing all day long."

"Yes, there is one." She said thoughtfully filling my heart with unspoken relief and respect. "Enroll her in singing classes. Only good vocal training may improve it. May improve, not will."

Sighing I nodded and Meow smiled affectionately at our daughters files.

"What about Magari?" I asked and the expression on Doctor Grimm's face changed from solemn to absolute defeat.

No wonder why!

"Magari Almond Allard, two and a half years old and the youngest." She gulped down another bottle of chill water before she gets to the point.

"To be honest, I don't know what is wrong with her. She is normal, totally normal." She breathed out.

"But?" I know there is one.

"But there is something that is not normal. Something from the back of my mind tells me that something is not right but I didn't find what it is."

As expected. That is exactly how I feel too.

I bet my whole wealth on it that Magari has something but no one knows what it is. Either she is very good at hiding it or it can be something very small and unnoticeable.

"But I know." We heard Meow's casual confession and both I and the doctor turned to her for explanation.

I knew it. It can't be that she doesn't know. Meow just knows... everything. And for a fact, I know Magari has something severe than her sisters.

But what?

"You really did not observe it? It is as clear as day." Forgive me for being too ignorant about psychological problems. It's not like I have a house full of them!

"Tell me."

"She gets x4 slower." Meow said with a proud motherly affectionate smile.

"Slower in what, why?" Doctor Grimm asked with interest.

"Magari, she talks, acts, does everything x4 times slower whenever she sees or experience romance. The trigger to stop it is when she or anyone else gets yelled at or when she sees someone quarreling. Why do you think she talks alphabet by alphabet in slow version whenever she sees us kissing each other?"

I have nothing to say anymore. One is over active while the other is extremely slow. Heck, Capria is still better when I think about Magari.

Hell, even Delfy is better if you ask me!

"So it takes days to get one complete sentence from her whenever she sees us kissing or she herself kisses someone?"

"You are exaggerating. She is only four times slower. Nothing to worry about."

"I'm sorry to intervene but... what about her future relationships?" The doctor posed bringing out the main point.

Bless her future boyfriends/husband!

I don't even want to imagine someone touching my daughter but I still can't get the picture out of my mind.

Then again, seeing my daughters, I don't think they need much of my protection. Three daughters and all the three are unique.

They have Almond heirlooms inside them to protect them all around the clock.

"They will find someone who loves them entirely with their conditions included; just like how I love their mother. It will be challenging and one heck of a ride, but they will definitely find their own anchors." I answered smiling at already grinning Meow.

Oh their mother was, is and will the same. She drained me like no other but in the end; she still has me wrapped around her ring finger.

Almonds can do that! I was determined to stay away from dry fruits at one point of time.

I'm now surrounded by them now; happily!

I realized love can do that.

Love can do anything!

~*~*~*~*~*~ THE END ~*~*~*~*~*~

Hello Sweeties,

Epilogue is here. Enjoy!

What do you think about the chapter? Good?

What do you think about the whole story?

Which of their daughters is your favorite?

Which of the daughters condition is more problematic?

Capria, Delfina, Magari. What do you think about the names?

Is Almond's inherited condition really a protective heirloom?

Zorion might now seem like most wattpad men who shows how blindly in love they are but you can tell even in his indifference that he loves Tiny. Don't you?

While Tiny shows her love openly, Zorion is casual and not so open about it. Your views?

Many of you are asking for Aella and King's book. I'm thinking to give Almonds a series of their own but before I write another Almond story, I have another story I've been working on from a very long time. I think I will write that first,

Hope you give all my books the same love and attention.

Please shower me with votes and comments.

Share my books with your friends.

Lots of Love

Lady Prim
