The girl opened her eyes smiling seeing where she was knowing that she would get to see Kai. She skipped down the stairs smiling happily she hears a chuckle "someone is in a good mood today"

She shrugged "Well nothing traumatic has happened to me or in my life since the last time I was here so yeah I'm feeling pretty good.... not to mention that my sight is so much clearer now and everything just looks beautiful..... So what are we going to do today?"

Kai shrugged at her "Hmm perks of being a werewolf I'm guessing and we can do whatever you want to do today Sunshine"

She nodded "yeah werewolf perk I noticed it as soon as I woke up I could see things just so much clearer and just all of my senses are just better than before I triggered it and I don't know Mal that's why I asked you"

He just chuckled at her "it doesn't matter to me Sunshine" She rolled her eyes "well that helps..... not"

The Siphon shrugged "We could go on a road trip?"

Aurelia gave him a look "A road trip? Sounds like fun where are we going?" Kai grins at her mischievously "We could break into the White House" the girl laughed giving him a look "oh my god you are such a bad influence..... Let's do it!"

He just grinned at her "alright then we should go while we have the time... you could wake anytime"

Aurelia nodded "alright then let's go"

Once they are in the car Aurelia grinned "we should get a Polaroid Camera that way we don't have to get the pictures developed and we can have the memento of breaking into the freaking White House"

Kai laughed "alright Sunshine we will pick up a Polaroid when we get there or on the way" The girl smiled happily at that "Awesome... Never in my life did I think I would ever break into the White House Caroline is never gonna believe this oh my god"

"Caroline is your best friend right?"

Aurelia nodded "yeah at the moment she's the only one that knows about this.... she's the only one I trust to know about it that wouldn't get all judgemental about it... I love my sister and Bonnie but they both just get over the top judgemental about things and I just don't want to deal with it so Care is the only one that I can talk to and she completely understands or if she doesn't she'll pretend that she does"

"Sounds like Caroline is a good friend" Aurelia smiles "yeah she's the best friend that a girl could ask for"

So Kai starts the car and Aurelia Immediately reaches for the tapes to put into the tape player "it's not a road trip without carpool karaoke... so boy you best be prepared to listen to my horrible singing for the next few hours"

He gives her a look "Sunshine what do you mean horrible singing you actually can sing... I heard it on the way to Disney World'' Aurelia rolled her eyes "Shut up... I'm not that good"

He smirks at her "well I beg to differ... you seem pretty good from where I see it" She can feel her face heat up slightly at his words as she looks out the window trying to keep him from seeing the redness on her face as she looks through them she finally decides on and pops it into the player, smiling as the first song starts playing.

She just lightly hums the beginning until it gets to the chorus that's when she starts singing along "Don't go chasing waterfalls, please stick to the rivers and lakes you're used to, I know that your gonna have it your way or nothing at all but I think you're moving too fast" Kai just smirked at her not saying anything as she kept singing along with the song.

About an hour into the trip Aurelia was looking through the tapes again to change it and she came across a tape labeled greatest rock hits of the 80s & 90s making her smirk "Hell yeah"

"What did you find?"

"The greatest hits of the 80s & 90s... though it'll only be up to 94 but it's still cool" she pops it in and the first song is Livin on a Prayer which makes Aurelia smile as she starts singing along, rolling her window down as they are going down the highway.

The girl is dancing in her seat now singing along dramatically.

As the song fades out Aurelia laughs "We should get a convertible for our next road trip... it'd be much more fun giving a dramatic performance in a convertible"

Kai laughed "Alright Sunshine I'll keep that in mind for next time" She nodded "good that's all I ask" they both laugh as the next song starts and Aurelia is right back giving her dramatic performance once again.

They are about half an hour from DC now and Aurelia flipped the tape over to the B-side and grinned as I Love Rock 'N Roll drifted through the speakers of the car, she broke out the full dramatics... air guitar and everything for this one, making Kai laugh as he watches out of the corner of his eye before looking back at the road so they don't crash.

As they hit DC Aurelia grins again they were getting closer to their destination but also a song from her and Caroline's favorite movie started playing as well which just made her happier "Oh Mickey, you're so fine. You're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey, Hey Mickey!"

Kai laughs "I'm impressed with how many of those songs you actually knew she smirked at him "I was raised with good taste and this song is in one of my all-time favorite movies, 'Bring It on' which you aren't gonna know what that is since it didn't come out until 2000. But it's a cheerleading movie and I could quote it to you word for word... right here, right now"

He laughed and shook his head at her "it's alright Sunshine I'll take your word for it now let's find a Polaroid and break into the White House"

She laughs "let's do it" so after about 10 minutes they found the camera they were looking for and Aurelia grinned at him "alright first I want a picture in front of the White House before we go in." So he takes one of her, then Aurelia takes one of him, and then she takes a selfie-type picture of them both.

She slips the camera strap around her neck, and she hands the pictures to Kai "shake these, and I'll open the gate" he takes the photos shaking them "Okay?"

Aurelia rolled her neck using her magic to open the gate "Well that's one way to do it" Aurelia smirked at him "I've been practicing... I'm getting really good.. are the pictures ready yet?" he shows them to her "not yet" then they walk up the building Aurelia has a grin on her face as she flicks her wrist and the front door opens.

"OH MY GOD, we just broke into the White House" So Aurelia is taking pictures in pretty much every room they went in as they explored the very abandoned White House.

"This was an awesome idea" he smirked at her as they made their way towards the Oval Office, "Told you it'd be fun"

Aurelia laughed as they walked into to Oval Office "Oh my god we are in the Oval Office right now"

Kai laughed with her "Yes we are, Sunshine, yes we are" So then Aurelia proceeded to take a ton of pictures of them in the office. She took one of him at the window looking all JFK as Kai had requested.

As soon as Aurelia woke up she smiled thinking back to the adventure she had just been on and then she felt something hit her arm as she moved it, she sat up and looked down seeing a Polaroid of her and Kai from the White House.... it was her favorite one out of all the pictures she took. That one was her favorite and she's happy that somehow it ended up coming back with her.

She was sitting on the arm of the chair at the president's desk and Kai was sitting in the chair his arm snaked around her waist to keep her balanced as she took the picture but she was smiling down at him with her one arm across the back of the chair and he's looking back up at her with a smile as well his blue eyes twinkling with mischief.

She smiled at the picture in her hand, now she had a real photo of him to show Caroline later instead of just her sketches that she's done of him. After Aurelia got fully awake she pulled out her phone dealing Caroline's number and it rang twice before the blonde answered: "Hey El what's up?"

The brunette smiled "so Care-Bear how up for a shopping trip are you?"

The blonde snorted "El I'm always up for a shopping trip so are you picking me up then?"

The brunette grinned "yeah I'll be there in 20 minutes and I'll explain the rest."

"Alright El I'll see you in 20"

They hang up and Aurelia gets up and, places the photo in her sketchbook since nobody else touches it without her permission, that was the safest place tp keep the photo, then she takes a quick shower not bothering with make-up and letting her hair air dry, she gets dressed and grabs her bag, and heads downstairs where she sees her Aunt Jenna "good morning Aunt Jenna... Care and I are going shopping so I'll probably be home late just thought I'd tell you"

The older woman nods with a smile at her niece "alright thanks for the heads up Aurelia" the brunette nods grabbing her keys and heading out to her car and as promised 20 minutes later she pulled into Caroline's driveway.

The blonde walks out ready to go climbing into the passenger seat "all right then let's get going where are we going?"

El smiles at her best friend as she backs out of the driveway "Richmond... I have an ulterior motive for this shopping trip... I've been doing some research on Prison Worlds and The Gemini Coven and I found a bookstore in Richmond that has a book on Prison Worlds and I didn't want to go by myself... we'll go shopping after I get my book but yeah"

The blonde laughs "okay then let's get you that book.... why didn't you just tell me that when you called?" Aurelia glances over at her "because I didn't know who could have overheard what I was saying at the house and none of them know about Kai or my dreams so better safe than sorry."

The blonde gives Aurelia a look "How deep did you have to dive to find the book?"

The brunette sighs looking over at her blonde best friend "deep... I am talking about dark web deep but I want to find a way to help him get out but I know next to nothing about prison worlds or the people that created them hence the research into the Gemini Coven."

Caroline gives her a testing grin "so did you see him last night?"

El nodded at her "yeah.... we kinda broke into the White House and took a ton of Polaroid pictures in all the different rooms" then she pulled the one out of her sketchbook "somehow this one ended up with me when I woke up this morning.... it was my favorite one that I took, we were at the president's desk in the Oval Office" she handed it to Caroline.

The blonde is grinning at her teasingly again "OHH damn El you were right your sketches do not do him justice" the brunette laughed "that's what I've been saying this whole time Care and now you can see it for yourself"

The blonde laughed "okay but can we just talk about the way you are looking at each other? UGH it's so cute"

Aurelia smiled at her "Ugh just being that close to him... Just felt right, I don't know how else to describe it and he's heard me sing as well" the blonde gasped dramatically "oh my god you barely sing in front of me and I'm your best friend. He must be pretty special if you're singing in front of him"

The brunette rolled her eyes but she did catch the teasing tone in her friend's voice so she at least knew that she was teasing and was not really upset about it.

Caroline handed her the picture back and El put it back in her sketchbook book for safekeeping and to make sure that the wrong people don't see it she knows that nobody touches her sketchbook book she's very possessive with it, it's her safe place and she doesn't let just anybody look at it so she knows that her picture will be safe there.

About 4 hours later Aurelia parked in front of the bookstore and looked at Caroline "alright here we are so I will be out in a few minutes with the book" Caroline nods "alright I'll be right here waiting when you get out"

El walks into the bookstore and smiles at the familiar smell of leather, old paper, and sage" she finds the book she came for and grabs it off the shelf, and heads to the register, the lady behind the front counter looks from the book to Aurelia and then back to the book "Why are you interested in Prison Worlds?"

Aurelia smiles at her not missing a beat "I'm taking an Occult Studies class and we have to do a report on something 'magical' and Prison Worlds were on the list of topics we could write about so I thought it might be interesting so that's what I chose to do my report on"

The woman nods at her believing the lie "well then you came to the right place... that book is very rare, there are only 3 of them.... so that being said, that will be $60" Aurelia gives her the money and the woman puts the book in a bag and hands the bag to Aurelia who takes it with a smile "thank you"

She walks out of the store and climbs back into the car, she smiles at her best friend "alright let's do some shopping and then find a quiet place so I can look at this book.

After a couple of hours of shopping, the girls found a cute little cafe and found a table by the window Caroline ordered their drinks while Aurelia opened the book and started reading.

About half an hour later Aurelia dropped her head down on the table with a sigh, the blonde looked at her "found anything yet?"

Aurelia shakes her head "no all it's doing is explaining the history of why they exist..... I mean that's rather obvious if you think about it... it's a prison world they are obviously made to be prisons.... but there is nothing in this book about what I'm looking for"

The blonde looks at her best friend "uhhh El one thing if your dream boyfriend is locked in a prison world.... would trying to get him out even be a good idea?" Caroline would trust Aurelia with her life, but she was just trying to look out for her best friend, the blonde would do anything for Aurelia and Aurelia would do the same for Caroline.

Aurelia gives her a look "Caroline sweetie I love you..... but yes it's an absolutely great idea because the reason he's locked in there isn't fully his fault...." she thinks for a moment "it's maybe about 45% his fault but the rest is on them, the people that put him there... they didn't have to be shitty people, they could have treated him like a normal human being, instead of treating him like shit... then he wouldn't have been driven to snap which caused him to do what he did to get locked in the prison world to start with"

The blonde holds her hands up "okay... wow El you got a little defensive there"

Aurelia smiles at her sheepishly "sorry Care...I didn't mean to get snappy.... there's one little part that I left out when I told you about all of this"

The blonde looks at her "and what would that be El?"

The brunette smiles sheepishly at her "Kai and I are sort of Soulmates... it's the whole reason I can see into his prison world, to begin with, and it's why I just got snappy and defensive about it a minute ago"

The blonde looks at her "Soulmates? And I am just now hearing about this. What the hell El?" The brunette shrugged "I was gonna ease it on you Care you know so I wasn't just dropping the bombshell on you "

As the two were talking a guy in the corner had heard that Aurelia was looking into Prison Worlds and The Gemini Coven and well he knew a lot of things so he thought he'd offer assistance for a price, of course, so he approached the table.

"I hear you're looking into Prison Worlds and the Gemini Coven... I may be of some assistance, I know a lot of things" Aurelia looked at him "What do you want for the information?" the man gives her a look "You're a smart one... since you are talking about prison worlds so I'm gonna assume that you know the truth. So what I want is a daylight ring that's it, you can get that for me and I will tell you everything that I know about The Gemini Coven and Prison Worlds"

El and Caroline share a look before the brunette looks back at him "Alright... you have yourself a deal, but only if you can get me the materials to make the daylight ring.... the spell is relatively simple and I know it by memory... it was one of the first spells that I was taught so I just need the materials"

"I'm Slater by the way... come with me and I'll get you what you need to make it" Aurelia nodded at him but gave the vampire a look "Alright, I'm Aurelia and this is Caroline but you try anything at all, with either one of us and I will set you on fire faster than you can blink"

Slater nodded at her "Understood" so Slater took the two to his apartment to wait for him to gather what Aurelia needed to make a daylight ring.

Caroline looked at her as he left them alone "Are we really doing this? We don't even know this guy El" she looked at Caroline "Care I paid $60 for that book and it was a complete bust so if this guy can give me the information that I need then I will happily make sure he can walk in the sunlight"

A few minutes later they heard the door open and a girl walked in "Uhhh are you friends of Slaters? Because I have never seen you before" Aurelia smiled at her "Oh Slater is just giving me some information about something"

The girl smiled back "Oh well in that case I'm Alice, Slater is my boyfriend" EL nodded "I'm Aurelia and this is Caroline"

"So where is Slater?"

"Oh he just went out to get the materials that I need for the payment for the information he's giving me" Alice smiled "okay well would you guys like some tea?" the friends shared a look before Aurelia nodded at her "that would be lovely Alice thank you"

The human smiled at them walking into the kitchen, leaving the friends alone in the living room area, The blonde gave her friend a look making Aurelia sigh "Care this is important to me okay? You trust me right?"

The blonde nodded "Okay I'm just trying to look out for you El, if this is important to you then I'm on board and of course, I trust you El I trust you with my life" Aurelia smiled at her and that was when Slater came back in with a bag of things "Alright everything you need is in this bag"

Aurelia takes the bag "do any of these windows open? I need direct contact with sunlight for the spell to work" Slater nodded taking her through the apartment "this one opens... so I will leave you to it"

She nodded laying everything out on the little table by the window and she put it all together and opened the window letting the sunlight cover the now assembled Lapis Lazuli ring and then Aurelia did the spell.

A few minutes later she walked back into the living room area the ring in the palm of her hand as she held it out "here you are... you can now walk in the sun" the man slips the ring on and walks over to the window at El was at a few minutes prior and opened in sticking his hand out and he smiled happily when he didn't start burning.

"Alright then, A deal is a deal, so let's start with what you already know about them" El sighed "I only know the basics, the history of them and why they were created that's it... what I want is to find a physical way into one... if I could get in then getting out would be easy just gotta find the spell I'm assuming, which would be hidden somewhere inside the prison world"

Slater nodded at her "well to get in you would need the ascendant for that prison world, there are several different worlds which one are you looking to get into?"

"May 10th, 1994"

Slater looks at the girl "Are you sure about that?"

Aurelia nods "Yeah I'm positive that is the one that I am looking for information on" he nodded "okay but it just had to be that one I can tell you everything I know about it but you aren't getting in there without the ascendant and there is no way that the Geminis would part with that one after what happened"

Aurelia rolled her eyes "And of course by the Geminis you mean the Parkers...."

Slater looked at her surprised that she knew that "yeah... how did you know that?"

The girl rolled her eyes again "I may not know much about the Gemini Coven as a whole but trust me I've heard all about the Parkers and I'd like to hit Joshua in the face with a brick repeatedly" you could physically hear the venom dripping from her lips when she said Joshua's name.... she had never hated someone so much in her life but after finding out the way he treated Kai.. his own son an intense hatred for the man manifested inside of her.

Caroline looked at her friend in surprise. She had never heard El sound like that before, Slater looked at the young witch in front of him "Damn what did the man do to you?"

The brunette shrugged unbothered by the looks the two were giving her, "Personally nothing but to treat your own son the way he did, for something that he couldn't help or control just rubs me wrong, and believe me I got the whole story, the real story not the way they painted it in that stupid newspaper article, no I know why it happened and honestly a person can only take so much before they snap."

Slater looks at her, with a look of surprise but also curiosity "So you've actually been to the 1994 prison world?"

Aurelia blows out a breath "Sort of, yeah it's a little complicated... I mean I'm not there physically or well I am but it's like it's a dream for me... I'm there for a few hours and then I wake up and I'm back in my own bed but I remember everything that happened while I was there" she sees the look in the man's eyes and speaks before he can even ask the question "Yes I've met him.... how else would I have heard the whole story? Not just the article they wrote in the paper that day.... now don't get me wrong I'm not trying to excuse what happened... I'm not saying that what he did wasn't wrong but what I am saying is it wasn't fully his fault and that it could have been prevented"

Caroline looked at her best friend "Uh El I'm lost here what are you talking about?"

Aurelia looked back at her "the reason that Kai is in the prison world to start with so I'll sum it up for you cliff notes version I guess, from what Kai told me in the Gemini Coven when they have twins on or sometime after their 22nd birthday the twins are supposed to merge, the stronger one absorbs the weaker twins power and they become leader of the Coven, so in this case Kai and his twin sister Jo where supposed to merge but he overheard a conversation between his father Joshua who is the leader of the Coven and the high ranking members of the coven they didn't want him to be the leader so they collectively decided that they were gonna wait until the other set of twins Lukas and Olivia were old enough to do the merge and after learning that they weren't even gonna give him a chance to prove that he could be a good leader something inside of him snapped and he killed four of his siblings and then tried to gut Jo with a hunting knife and after that she agreed to merge with him but instead of merging they locked him away in the prison world"

The blonde looked at her "Wow El... kinda don't know what to say to that but wow"

Aurelia gives her a look "We can talk about it later okay?"

The blonde nodded "okay"

Aurelia turned back to Slater "So what can you tell about the ascendant for 1994?"

"Well from what I've heard Josette keeps it with her but after the incident it's like she dropped off the grid no one has heard a peep from the remaining eldest Parker twin so I couldn't tell you where you could find her but since you paid me with eh ability to walk in the sun" he handed her a card "you ever need anything information wise give me a call and I will see what I can do."

Aurelia smiled at the man taking the card. She'd put the number in her phone once they got back into her car. "Thank you for your help Slater it's appreciated....still don't know how I am going to accomplish my goal but I will figure it and now thanks to you I know more about everything and that will help in the long run"

So they said their goodbyes and Aurelia and Caroline made their way back to her car and the brunette saved the phone number into her contacts in case she were to need the vampire's help again at some point.

The blonde looks at her best friend for a moment "I have never seen you this determined or happy ever... so I am not gonna judge that your dream boyfriend... sorry soulmate has killed people"

Aurelia laughed at that "all right then Care so are we ready to head back?"

"I mean it El, even though at the moment you can only see him in dreams but he makes you happy and that's all that I care about, just as long as he doesn't hurt you then I'll give him a chance... benefit of the doubt you know?"

That made the brunette smile at her blonde best friend knowing that they would always have each other's backs no matter what.

Then started her car and headed back toward their hometown of Mystic Falls, with a few more answers than she has before.
