Chapter 1
I don't own anything, just the OCs that may appear.
[P.O.V. Ritsuka]
I am Fujimaru Ritsuka, I'm the last and only Master of the organization called Chaldea.
One thing I was sure of, is that I was in my room in Chaldea. But now, out of nowhere, I find myself in a white room with so many kinds of different doors.
And at the center of the room, there was a man.
That man appeared to be around his forties, with rectangular glasses and dressed in plain clothes. He seemed to be reading a newspaper, until he noticed me.
"Uh... Hi?" I started with a greeting, since I was still a little bit confused by my current situation.
He stared at me for a few seconds before saying. "Hm... Interesting. Your name."
Uh... I don't know how to respond to that other than. "Fujimaru Ritsuka?"
He then took out a list of some kind and then he started writting something, probably my name.
"So....What are you... Huh!?" Before I could even ask him some questions regarding this place, I was suddenly started to get sucked in by one of the doors, the force was too strong. "What is this!? Ah! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!"
That was the last time I ever saw that room as everything went black.
[Unknown place]
"Ugh... What the hell was that old man?" I asked myself as I held my head in a little pain. "Just throwing me out like that without as much of an explination..."
While I was used to get thrusted into sudden events like that, it didn't mean that I welcome them.
Anyway, I need to assess my situation first.
By the looks of it, I was in a forest that remisenced western Europe, maybe I am in the continent, but I don't know if this is an Singularity or whatever is this place.
But one thing I was sure of...
Loud noises of thunderclaps resounded above me. An storm was coming.
I needed a place where I could hide from the rain. So I started walking around the area, hopefully there is signs of civilization.
But after minutes of walking.
I couldn't find anything resambling a village or even a desolated house. So I decided to get deeper into the woods to find a cave.
As I was walking into the woods, something caught my eyes. It was an castle, well... the ruins of a castle, as it looked like no one hasn't lived in there for centuries.
But at this point, where it was about to rain heavily, I couldn't afford to be picky about my choices. So I approached the ruined castle.
When I did, everything was in shambles, just like I expected since it didn't look like it was maintained for so long, maybe it has like hundreds of years in abandoment.
And just like I predicted earlier, the rain started to pour heavily.
"Damn, it's really coming down heavily, and it's getting colder and colder by each minute." I cursed and I ran while covering myself from the rain.
I can see that there's some wooden objects in here. They aren't rotten yet, so they can be used as a fireplace. So with the little Magecraft that I know, since I mostly depend on Mystic Codes, I lit the fire which now keeps me warm.
I sat in front of the fire and began to think about ny current situation. Yes, I was in an unknown place, throwed in here by an strange man.
"I better see if I can at least contact Chaldea." I said as I turned to the communicator on my wrist, to see if I can contact Mash or anyone back at Chaldea.
The beeping sound kept on for a few minutes before finally I got the transmition of my one and only beloved kouhai, Mash Kyrielight.
"Sen...*BZZT* pai! Wh*BZZZT*ere A-A-A...re you?" Damn it! It's all static from my side, something or someone is blocking my connection with Chaldea.
"Mash! If you can hear me, please get some of the Caster Servants to help with communications and to try pinpoint my location! That way, we can probably restore the proper connection with Chaldea!" I tried to say to Mash, which I hope she got everything I said without much static like on my side.
"Sen*BZZZZZZZT*!!!"
"Hello? Mash? Mash can you hear me? Mash!" I tried to call her back again, but to no avail. Connections was completely cut off. So in other words, I was all alone in here.
"(Sigh) No point whining about it, I will just have to believe that Mash got what I said and send someone who can help me with this situation." I said to myself as I lied down to sleep as it was night already.
I just hope that this isn't a Lostbelt or whatever, since if that's the case, then it would mean that something similar to Fairy Britain could happen where I can't summon Servants.
But I leave those thoughts for tomorrow, I will just close my eyes and sleep.
[In the woods, not far away from the ruined castle. 3rd P.O.V.]
Close to the abandoned castle, there was a village where a peculiar kind of people were living.
If someone from Earth were to look at them, they would confuse those people with middle-school kids, as they are both young looking and had heights between the 147cm to 150cm, with the tallest being onlt 160cm.
Those people were called Hobbits.
Once they were communities of people who lived in peace, never engaging in wars. Until the Empire of Orte invaded their lands.
The Hobbits, who weren't then used to war, were easily defeated and were made serfs by Orte. Just like the Elves and Dwarves, they were nothing but slaves to Orte, despite the fact that the Hobbits never partook in any kind of hostility with the Humans in the past.
Now... they were treated cruelly, like trashes which were needed to be taken out.
While the Elves were made farmers, and the dwarves were forced to forge armor and weapons for Orte's war efforts. The Hobbits were made collectors of cotton and grapes, and if any of them were to act out of line, then that would mean an Orte soldier chopping off one of their limbs.
It was total hell... One where they saw no hope of salvation, not even their hero, Samael, the only Hobbit warrior who ever existed, would ever save them.
One pair of two teenage boys were walking on the woods to collect wood for the fire, since winter was getting close on those parts of the empire.
"Brother... are you sure we should be here?" Asked a young boy, who looked too pretty to be called a boy, asked his older sibling.
"What choice do we have, Masha? You know there's not enough firewood to keep us warm for the incoming winter." The older brother, of the now named Masha, reminded his younger sibling.
"It's just that... there was a talk that a Drifter was seen around the areas of the abandoned castle." Masha says reminding the talk of the village that a Drifter, a being who comes from another world, appeared around the area of their village.
"As long as we don't come across the Drifter we should be fine." Masha's older brother said. Knowing full well what would happen to them and their village if they had a contact with a Drifter. Massacre, that is what will happen.
"Brother... soon I will be 15... I don't think that I..."
Whatever Masha was about to say was interrupted by his older brother, who grabbed him by the shoulders and said enraged. "NO ONE WILL TAKE YOU, OKAY!? IF THOSE ORTE ASSHOLES TRY, I WILL KILL THEM!!"
"Big brother David..." Masha sniffed as tears began to form in her face.
Yes, in reality, Masha was a girl, the only one who stayed on their village. In order to cull their population to a controlable number, Orte takes away all female Hobbits around the age of 13 or 15.
Their father, by some luck, managed to hide Masha's true gender from Orte. Since then both her older brother, David, and their father Absalom, were able to hide her gender to protect her from Orte.
As they can imagine what would Orte would do to their females.
David embraced his little sister and thought. "If only... If only I was stronger... If only our kind was just as strong as our hero of long ago... We wouldn't be living as cattle by those bastards of Orte..."
They never got to meet their mother, both David and his father suspected that she died by Orte's hands.
He doesn't wants Masha to end like that... But... the cruel reality remains that he was weak. Weak to be able to fight back, as the Hobbits in general weren't a warrior species.
But even so...
"Huh?" Masha suddenly let out as she looked around.
"What's wrong, Masha?" David asked his disguised sister.
"I hear footsteps coming closer." Masha answered as she looked around to see where it came from.
That alarmed David and said on his mind. "Could it be an Orte's patrol? No... that can't be it, we're too far from the village and there's not a single watchtower in miles. Could it be..."
Whatever conclussion was about to arrive, he got his answer when from out of the woods, came out one of the things they hoped to never come across at.
It was an young man with black hair, blue eyes and was dressed in a strange white outfit.
By his height and the shape of his ears, he was clearly a human. But above all else, by his strange clothing.
"D-D-Drifter..." Masha fearfully muttered as she hid behind her brother.
"Damn it... I thought that by staying away from the ruined castle, we wouldn't be coming across the Drifter... Why he's here for? Maybe is... to sack our village!?" David thought as he hardened his gaze at the thought that the Drifter before them would try something against their village.
The Drifter started talking, but like they expected from a Drifter, he talked in a lenguage which was totally unknown to them.
"Masha... listen. We cannot be associated with this Drifter, as also we musn't allow him to get close to our village." David whispered behind him to his sister. "We must make a run for it."
"Huh? What if he follow us?" Masha asked to her brother. But... after she did that, she took a good look at the Drifter.
He wasn't like the villagers told about how Drifters are, bloodthirsty demons who can only wager in war and bloodshed. This human looked just like any boy in her village if they were around his height.
And for some reason... Looking at his eyes made Masha feel like she could trust him with her life. He wasn't an evil human like Orte's soldiers.
"We know this territory better, so we must use that knowledge to lose him." David whispered back at Masha. "On my signal, we will run as fast as we can."
Despite feeling as that Drifter wasn't a bad person, she still couldn't risk the safety of their village by having a contact with him, as only the Oct, an organization of mages, could make contacts with Drifters.
So they must leave him behind or else they will suffer Orte's wrath.
"One... two... NOW!!" At David's signal, Masha began to run as fast as she could into the woods, so the Drifter wouldn't see her where she would be going.
Meanwhile David throwed a rock at the Drifter, who while he evaded the rock, it distracted him enough to take off his sight from David, who ran after his sister.
David only hoped that no Orte's soldier had see them having a contact with the Drifter.
[P.O.V. Ritsuka]
Okay... that was rude.
The night has passed and since the day was beautifully clear, I had the idea to explore the areas beyond the castle.
And thanks to the mini virtual map, that was tracing the area, I would not get lost from the castle.
That was where during my exploration, I came across two beings.
They were young children, probably around middle-school's age and were dressed in dirty rags. But one rarity that I noted was that they had pointy ears.
I was trying to ask them if there was a town around the area, where I could gather information about this place. But they only whispered among themselves, and then one of them began to run away, while the other throwed a rock at me.
While I could evade the rock, it distracted me a bit as the boy ran after the other boy into the woods, which was then when I lost sight of them.
Rude... not even sparing a few words with me.
Hmm... their ears were pointy like Madea(s). So... they must be elf children!
So does that mean... that I got Isekaid?
Damn... just... damn....That old man just sent me to a whole different world. Something that is akin to the Second True Magic.
This is nuts. No wonder I barely had any signal from Chaldea, I was far beyond Earth's sphere.
Why? Why he did send me in here? Was to amuse himself like that vampire guy that I hear from Lord El Melloi-II? Or is for a greater purpose?
Whatever the case, I can only hope that I can make contact with Chaldea soon.
A crossover between Drifters and Fate/Grand Order. Yeah like in my other stories Ritsuka gets isekaid into the world of Drifters for some reason.
But worry not, because he's about to turn up the whole world of Drifters in his own way.
AriesStar337, over and out.
