Confusion
Geno and Dr. Kim walked back into the district, most of the vampires seemed to hide a bit more than usual. Geno glanced around the area a small bit confused but choose not to question it.
After a while of walking Geno and Dr. Kim managed to make it to the orphanage, luckily the kids were still asleep.
“Go ahead and rest, Geno.” Dr. Kim suggested as he walked over to the kitchen, “I'll make us some tea.”
Geno nodded and walked over to the couch, “Alright, Thank you Kim.”
Geno leaned back against the couch and sighed, it was an extremely long day for everyone, at least it somewhat ended on a good note. For now.
Geno averted his eyes to the closest thing in the room to him, his cheeks were lightly dusted with red as he thought back to the ‘Moment’ between him and Death. Now that he thought about it he couldn't stop, he shook his head, clearing his thoughts. Death and him weren't together, but there is something between the two. Hell there should be if the other already admitted falling in love with the other and him bringing them into a kiss.
Geno let out a small breath and rubbed his head, maybe he shouldn't think so much about this, but it's easier said than done. Letting his thoughts wonder he somehow made it to the Monster Kingdom. Geno smiled slightly and thought about undyne, she would probably like Death, perhaps Alphys too. Soon the happy memories made Geno frown, how could he had forgot about them?
Geno buried his face into his hand and made a small frustrated growl. Honestly what is he gonna do, he doesn't just want to leave them. He truly does love Red district and the vampires here but he also misses his home. Especially Alphys and Undyne, they probably thought he was dead anyways…
Geno shook his head, he would think about this later, today was far to much and he definitely didn't want to add to it. Geno huffed and shrugged, letting his thoughts rest.
Geno smiled when Dr. Kim came back with a cup of tea and set it on the small coffee table for him.
“You're not going to have any?” Geno asked as he blew into the hot cup, Dr. Kim shook his head and took a seat on a chair nearby.
“I'm alright, tea isn't really my thing.” Dr. Kim answered with a whisper, he was being quiet so the kids wouldn't wake up, or where already awake. Who knew with them.
Geno sighed and shrugged, drinking the tea, “If you insist..” he let his mind wander again and instantly thought back to the kiss nearly making him choke on his tea.
“Oh dear, are you alright?” Dr. Kim asked as Geno patted his chest.
Geno nodded and wiped his mouth, trying to hide the growing red on his face, “Y-yeah, just my thoughts haha..” Geno huffed and turned a bit more red, realizing how weird that might have sounded, and the growing red on his face wasn't helping his case.
The bird laughed quietly at Geno's expression and spoke, “Are you thinking back to the kiss with Death?”
But before Geno could even process an answer, a loud, high pitch squeal came from the staircase. The loud sound made Geno give off a small shriek in surprise and Dr. Kim nearly flew out of his seat to the nearest chair.
“YOU DID WHAT!?” A small voice squealed next to Geno making him flinch.
“M-Minnie!?” Geno laughed, very, nervously as he looked down to the deer vampire who had a huge grin on her face, “A-aren't you supposed to be in bed?” Geno asked hoping to avoid the topic.
“No.” another voice pouted from the staircase, Fell and basically all of the kids came down looking to Geno.
“Geno- mph!” Minnie nearly started but Geno pulled her into a hug before she could speak.
“Geno is back!” Geno said cheerfully with a bit of nervousness in his voice.
Minnie quickly popped her head out from his grip, “From kissing Leader!”
Within in an instant the room erupted into children with endless questions. Dr. Kim sighed and left to the kitchen to find anyone to help calm the kids. Minnie tackled Geno to the ground before he had any time to react and sat on his back, “You kissed Leader! You kissed Leader!”
“Wait are you two together?” another child ask as they stood in front of Geno.
“W-we’re just - uhm!?” Geno was completely flustered, he hid a bit in his turtle neck as he thought of what to tell them, “Um- We're just really good friends!”
“Friends that kiss each other!” Minnie teased and made kissing noises. Geno felt his face grow hotter as he tried to get up.
“Hey Minnie I heard something's going on between Gerson and Kim, you should ask him.” Geno lied in attempt to Get the small vampire off him.
Minnie stayed quiet for a moment before whispering, “I knew it.” She quickly hopped off Geno's back and sprinted to the kitchen. There was a loud thump and a small shriek which Geno can only guess Dr. Kim had been tackled to the ground and is now going through the small vampire’s interrogation.
A small hand went into Geno's view, he took it gently but mostly used his strength to get up.
“Are you okay?” Fell asked as he looked to the taller skeleton. Geno nodded and tried to compose himself but the red that covered his face never seemed to leave.
“Are you two gonna get married?” A smaller vampire asked, they tugged at Genos shirt and looked of the age of three physically. Geno smiled down at the other softly and bent down to the smaller.
“We're not together, so we can't get married.” Geno said softly, making a few disappointed ‘aawwws’ fill the room. Geno's smile faltered a bit, he couldn't admit it but it stung a bit to say that. It wasn't like he disagreed to wait, he knew Death had a lot to go through and a relationship would only distract him. Geno even understood this so it shouldn't hurt, but it did.
“I...need to go outside for a bit.” Geno sighed and walked past the children, he quickly opened the door and shut it. He walked over to the nearby tree he would always hang out by and sat down with his back against it. Since he had no book to distract him from his thoughts Geno stared blankly ahead at the tunnel and the guards by it.
Geno trailed his eyes along side the insides of the mountain to the trees, he continued further to the small houses till his eyes made it to the castle. Once he looked over to the gate his soul started to beat faster. He saw Death talking to a few soldiers by the gate, his expression was serious and focused, along with a bit of anxiousness. Geno looked to the soldiers clothes and noticed that a few of them were in Yellow district's colors. Perhaps they came to discuss about the evacuation.
Geno took In a deep breath to steady his beating heart, he honestly didn't know what was up with him today. Yeah, he did kiss Death but would it completely change the way he saw him? It would on most parts but now Geno could barely look at him without his face becoming flushed and his soul pounding out of his chest. Was he sick? No, he doubts it. Shit now he was confused, what the hell is going on with him, yes he liked Death very much but it was starting to feel a bit overwhelming.
Geno continued to take deep breaths to calm his mind before he overthinked himself to death. He sighed quietly and leaned back against the tree, there was one other answer left, but Geno doubted it. The skeleton barely realized his feelings for Death over a day ago, there's no way he would have fallen in love within the short time of that day and the kiss. He knew Death loved him, It took him almost a year for the bond to break. So why was falling for another person going so fast for Geno.
“Goddamnit…” Geno sighed into his hands, he basically had all the answers to his feelings, but he was just so god damn confused it hurt like something was pressing against his chest. Yet, at the same time Geno wanted that feeling, it was pretty scary to the other, but comforting.
“You know what…” Geno sighed, he was tired of asking questions he knew he wouldn't be satisfied with, “Screw it.” Geno smiled slightly, accepting the rest of his feelings. If he was falling in love, especially with someone like Death, he shouldn't be worried. In fact, Geno started to feel a bit more happy.
And he'll leave it at that.

“Up this way.” Death mumbled to his Red soldiers and to the Yellow ones. They walked up the dark staircase which would have been a hazard for others who couldn't see in the dark. After a couple of minutes of walking up the small group of vampires made it to a door which Death had unlocked.
The door had opened to Death's office, it was slightly different than last time to help keep up with the work Death was given. His desk was slightly bigger, having a few more drawers for items Death needed. By his desk was a small stand that had a board with many notes of it, most of which told him the amount of resources they had and many other duties Death needed to get done. On the other half of the board laid a map of the two districts, one was labeled with a Red pin while the other was Yellow.
Death walked over to his desk and opened a drawer, pulling out a large map of the forest. He handed it to one of his soldiers and moved aside his things on the desk to make room for the map. Once he was done he set the map on the desk, he flattened it, and pinned it each on the four corners of the desk.
“So.” Death tried to say quietly but it came off as a growl, he stayed facing the map keeping his gaze away from the soldiers, he was honestly pissed, “Do any of you have an explanation to why you're in Nim’s place right now, and she isn't here personally, or shall I start to assume things?”
One of the Yellow soldiers stepped up and spoke, “One of Nim’s higher ups requested a meeting with her, it was urgent so she couldn't refuse.”
Death hit his desk causing a loud boom to echo in the office, “And of course I'm last to know!” Death growled, he hissed quietly and rubbed his head. He needed to stay calm, the yellow soldiers are in Nim’s place so he might as well give them the information needed. If they don't give it all back to her so help them Death will be angry.
“Let's start the meeting shall we?” Death huffed and went to the front of his desk so his back faced the opening in his tower. The soldiers nodded and each stood at a corner of the map.
“I came to this meeting today wanting to discuss about the evacuation location,” Death said and looked to the map, “But as of Nim’s absence I cannot, so for now we are going to plan out the things we need to do.”
Death looked to the Yellow soldiers, “I want every single supplies you have from a fruit to a single grain. All of it written down and I expect a report within an hour you get to your district. I want these daily, including the number of people you have, and how many children you have. During the evacuation they will be our top priority to keep safe.”
The soldiers nodded respectfully, writing down each order Death gave. After a couple of moments one of the soldiers looked up at Death, “Sir, if it helps, when you and Nim have the location why not send the kids first? By then most of the monster soldiers wouldn't have attacked and the kids would be the first ones out when anything dangerous happens.”
Death blinked at the soldier and thought for a few moments, debating his thoughts carefully, “That….isn’t such a bad idea, write it down and make sure Nim sees, I want her input on it. As for You.” Death turned to his soldiers who instantly turned their attention to him, “I want you guys to take half of the soldiers and scout a very most two miles of the forest from the district.” Death ordered.
“I want a full report back, anything looks funny. Report it. Branch out of place, Report. It. One of your teammates sneeze, you find a footprint, another out of place branch? Basically ANYTHING out of the ordinary. Report. It. Do you understand?” Death growled, the two soldiers nodded, bearly fazed by Death's attitude due to already being used to it.
“Good.” Death simply said, “Meeting dismissed, return to your district and start the scout.”
Both colors nodded, bowing respectfully to Death before leaving his office. Death stayed silent for a few minutes, listening as the last door close downstairs. He strided over to the opening of tower, watching as Yellow’s soldiers left and his Red ones go to the others.
Death let out a small breath, he rested his elbows on the opened and rubbed his head. He looked back to the paperwork and maps he had on the desk. With a heavy sigh Death turned away from the opening and to the maps.
“....I have so much work to do..”

With a small pull the door opened, Bruce, the skeleton walked through the door to the marble floors. They were a dull white that shined brightly, a few cracks where in the ground but luckily small plants grew in them, making It prettier than before. Bruce focused his attention to the figure in front if him.
They paid no attention to the skeleton, their eyes were fixed upon a small window to the outside. Bruce took a step forward, they still didn't seem to notice.
“H-headmaster..?” Bruce called out carefully, as if they were a bomb waiting to blow up.
And for the people who had experience with them.
They were.
“Bruce.” They purred in a slight hiss, a small sound of a rattle was heard behind them. Bruce calmed down, they were in a good mood today.
Headmaster stared to the skeleton, hissing quietly. The snake slithered it's way over to Bruce, their tail rattling behind them. The red in their eyes and the red diamond like jewl that rested on the top of their head, even though it was apart of their body, gave off a bit of color to their grey scales.
“Y-you wanted to see m-me?” Bruce asked, he stayed still as the extremely huge snake circled around him.
“Yes.” Headmaster simply answered, they circled around Bruce one last time before stopping right in front of him. Bruce was a bit intimidated, especially by a huge rattlesnake that could tower over the castle if they truly wanted.
“I think I want to start the plan already.” They hissed, but before Bruce could speak Headmaster shook their tail in front of him, silencing him, “You know patience isn't my trait. So I'll cut to the chase.”
“Bring me the Leader of Yellow district.”
