Let's play a game of fetch~

(Play music)

Five days later

"Geno!"

Geno sighed and closed the book he was reading, the pages slightly crumbled at the force he used.
The book was nothing too fun, just a biology book he randomly grabbed from a shelf. He had been sitting under a tree reading till someone called for him.

"Yeah?" Geno asked and turned around, Dr. Kim stood next to him with a smile. His wings were behind his back and looked at geno bug eyed.

"Mind if I join you?" He asked, geno shook his head and scooted over a small bit. Dr. Kim sat next to him, letting his wings rest on his lap. Geno looked at Dr. Kim, waiting for a few seconds for him to speak. When geno saw that he made no intention to talk geno turned back to the book.

Geno re opened the book and kept reading where he left off, mostly because he knew where this conversation was gonna go when Dr. Kim was going to speak. He didn't mind though, just wished Kim would get to the point so it can be over and done with.

"You look better than before," Geno commented but didn't take his eyes off the book, trying to break the quietness that somehow annoyed him, "are you sleeping any better?"

Dr. Kim nodded and looked up focusing his eyes on the leaves of the tree, a few leaves fell over their heads, "yes, I feel way better now."

"That's good," geno shrugged and continued reading, he didn't find it strange that he and Dr. Kim were the only ones outside right now. In fact, it seemed more quiet than usual.

"So geno," Dr. Kim said and looked down to his wings, it almost seemed he was twiddling his feathers.

Here we go, geno sighed and slightly closed his eyes, aaannnnddd~

"I, well I wanted to ask you something." Dr. Kim laughed a bit, bitting his beak.

Geno eyed him suspiciously but looked at him curiously, "yeah?"

"This determination," Dr. Kim stated, geno slightly flinched and put his eye back in the book. Somehow he knew this conversation was going to take place sooner or later. But now that it was taking place, he couldn't feel more uncomfortable.

"What do you think the possibilities of it?" Dr. Kim asked, geno kept quiet and keeped his eyes on the book, Dr. Kim either didn't notice or seem to care and continued talking.
"It seems so limitless and hard to control, I wonder what happens when it touches a monster. Anything could."

Geno tried to focus on the book but the words seem to become harder and harder to read. They even seemed blurry and in a different language. But he made no attempt to look at Dr. Kim, even if it felt frustrating.

The wind, that geno didn't even notice that was there, seemed to blow even harder sending chills down his neck. And all Dr. Kim seemed to do was ramble about things geno couldn't understand, his voice sounded so distant and indescribable. Yet he didn't take his eyes off the book, he felt like he couldn't.

"So geno," Dr. Kim said, the sounds of the wind stopped and all there was to hear was silence and some ringing in geno's ears. But he still couldn't take his eyes off the book, he could feel some tension building up around the two.
And now realizing the fact that just he and Dr. Kim were alone together made this much more nerve racking for geno.

"Can you help me?" Geno shivered at Dr. Kim's voice, it sounded dry and harsh, not his usual chirpy tone. Geno wanted to speak and look at him in concern, but his body felt completely frozen. He couldn't move or talk for the matter. He could feel his soul rate increase as he tried to move, but his body stayed completely frozen.

"GeNoo,"  geno heard Dr. Kim groan, he could feel Dr. Kim's wing reach out for him slowly, geno tried to turn away but he couldn't seem to move still. He shivered as he could feel Dr. Kim's wing inching closer, but it didn't seem like Dr. Kim's wing that was reaching out for him.

Only when he felt Dr. Kim's wing touch him geno's physical senses came back, geno shivered when he felt Dr. Kim's wing touch his shoulder.
Even though he was basically wearing a sweater, Dr. Kim's wing felt cold as ice.

And gooey.

"Hey!" Geno yelped when he looked to Dr. Kim, he fell back and scooted away as far as he could go. Dr. Kim fell to the ground and tried to stand up.

Dr. Kim was melting before his eyes, geno could see his beak slightly dripping like water. His wings looked so gooey it was like melted gum, and his usual colorful feathers were starting to turn white as snow.

Geno quickly brushed off some of the white goo that was on his shoulder and quickly got up.
"Kim!? What did you do!?" Geno snapped in fear, backing away as far as he could. Geno didn't understand what was going on, he seemed fine moments ago.
Dr. Kim didn't answer, he continued to turn white and melt in front of geno. Some of Dr. Kim was slowly forming into its own thing, scaring the living daylights out of geno.

Geno felt horrified at the sight, he looked all over the place but no one else was around to help. Not a single soul, he couldn't even see any of the houses nearby.
Geno backed up some more, ready to run if necessary until he felt another cold hand touch his own. Shivers ran down geno's spine as his blood turned cold.

Geno immediately raised his hand up from the whatever grabbed him and turned around. Another monster in the same state of Dr. Kim slowly inched towards him. It had a hole on its face while it's body seemed to be made of longs strands of goo, almost like tentacles sticking out of the body.

"What the hell is going on!?" Geno whispered harshly and backed away from both of them. He felt his soul drop when he saw Dr. Kim and the other monster merging together, making them both two times geno's size. It started off slowly, but soon. Their bodies turned into one being.

Geno's immediate reaction was to run to the orphanage, and so he did. He ran as fast as he could, sort of surprised at how far the orphanage was. He remembered sitting on the tree that was closest to it. But yet he didn't even remember going to the tree in the first place.

But it didn't matter at the moment, geno quickly pushed the door opened and yelled.
"Gerson! Gerson - get the kids!"

But no response.

As geno took a look inside he saw that some of the furniture and objects in the room had been moved or pushed off. Geno took a quick look at the back door and saw it open, he calmed down a little bit. It seemed that they had left already.

"Geno!!" Someone from outside called for him. Geno turned his head back outside but all he saw was the new goo monster heading towards him. Geno looked at the back door and hopped over the objects to it.
Geno ran into the open, almost hitting himself in the face by a tree. He then ran deeper into the tree area, safely hiding within them. He looked up ahead and decided to make his way to the tunnel.

"Geno!!" The voice called again, geno started to run towards it, to the tunnel. By the time he got out of the tree area he felt pain.

On and instant geno immediately had crashed into Death. He had been the one calling his name, geno stood up and tried to talk but death already was starting to leave. The hood over his head seemed to cased a shadow over his eyes, making them invisible to geno.

"This way, geno." Death said and walked in the tunnel, geno quickly followed. The cemented floor of the tunnel made geno's footsteps echo loud and clear. Even if geno walked at a fast pace, almost running, he couldn't seem to keep up with Death who seemed miles away.

"Hey," geno called out to death, but his voice sound timid and quiet, "Death, wait up!"

But no matter how much he tried to make his voice sound louder, his attempts were futile. Death didn't even make a process to even pay attention to him, either for other reasons or he simply couldn't hear geno.

Geno still trailed behind, looking back at times, but continued forward. Everything seemed to be a longer distance then before. It's been minutes but geno can bearly see the outline of the tunnel's exit.

"Come on," Death said, his voice didn't sound husky or soft anymore. It sounded low, slow, and almost silent to geno. But they carried on, relief came to geno as they got closer enough to the tunnel to see some of the light shining through.

"Were almost there," geno commented, his voice didn't change, but deaths Aura did. It felt distant, and colder than geno's hands. It could have been the fact that they had to leave left him so upset, is the first thought that came to geno's mind. But at the same time, as they got closer to the exit, it didn't seem that that was the reason to it.

Why?

Well geno couldn't tell, he couldn't tell why a lot of things were happening right now. He felt slightly traumatized remembering how Dr. Kim just melted in front of his eyes without warning.

Maybe that's why death felt a bit colder than usual, Dr. Kim seemed like he was his friend. Now his friend is merged withing another gooey monster or vampire. Geno shivered, surprised at how calm he felt at the moment, it made everything else know disturbing. But it happened all so suddenly, he wasn't sure how to take it.

The light was dull when they finally reached the end of the tunnel, but what did they expect. The whole forest was covered in thick fog, making it seem like nighttime.

Geno took a deep breath, trying to get in some fresh air only to be filled with a stuffy and icky sent of water.
Death stopped in front of geno, not even looking back.

"We're almost there," Death deadpanned but didn't move from the spot he stood in. Geno raised an ' eyebrow ' and walked a bit closer to death.

"Hey, Are you alright?" Geno asked, he felt concerned more about death than anything at the moment.
Death didn't reply, geno felt a slight sting in his soul as death walked forward, ignoring him.

"Hey, Death." Geno said a bit more loudly, but Death continued to ignore him and walked further.
"Death, I'm serious. What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Death deadpanned again, he walked around a few trees. Making a small distance between him and geno. Geno stayed as close as he could, he knew death can see fine through the darkness, but he isn't a vampire.

After a few moments of walking geno hugged his arms and looked around. The only ones in this foggy forest were geno and death, so far geno has seen nobody else.
Geno walked closer to death, but death continued walking around trees to distant himself more. Geno shrugged it off, perhaps he needs some space to himself.

"Where is everyone?" Geno asked, his voice seem to echo through the trees. Everything about it felt so hollow and empty now, geno couldn't understand why though.

As predicted, death stayed silent, the only thing to be heard from him was his boots crunching the dead twigs underneath them.
Geno started to feel slightly annoyed, but more concerned for the vampire.

Geno felt something wet fall on his face, he look up to see darker fog hovering high above him.
They were rain clouds, starting to cover the entire sky of what they could see through the trees.

Geno hugged his arms tighter, burying his hands in his sleeves. He looked over to death, to only see him going the opposite way of geno.

"Wait, Death, where are we goi-"

"NO PLEASE!!"

Geno flinched at the voice and turned around, the rain had turn rough and nearly blinded geno's vision. He turned to look back at death at what to do but he couldn't see him any longer.

"Goddammit," geno hissed and turned to the direction of the voice, he hesitated on his steps but started walking as fast as he could. He looked back, just in case death was there.
"It might be someone from the district! I'm going!"

"LET HER GO!!" The voice screamed again, it sounded like a young woman's voice. It sounded pained and scared.

Geno was now almost running, but the rain nor the fog would let him see. He only relied on the woman's voice to guide him. He tripped a few times over some rocks and branches but continued on.
The woman screamed a few times and another voice was heard.

"STOP IT! Madson!! Please!!" This voice sounded different, a man's voice, but it sounded so familiar to geno.

Madson? But that's...Geno's thoughts where interrupted when he almost slammed first face into a mud wall. He gasped and backed up, wiping away the rain from his face. He looked around and back at the mud wall, it was slight angle he could climb up on.

"PLEASE DONT TAKE HER!" The lady screamed again, it sounded like she was crying.
Geno sunk his hands in the mud, using it to help lift him up. Each time he climbed up the farther it seemed to go up, the rain wasn't helping either. It made him slip and almost fall back to the ground, geno soon gave up when he started to fall again and tried to use his magic.

He lifted his hand only to stop, he remembered the pain he felt last time he used magic. He wasn't ready to go through that pain again, instead he started to climb a tree.

The trees here weren't very long, only a few feet tall, but geno was going to use it to the best of his advantage.
But as soon as he got on the top of the tree, he was basically right next to the path above the foggy forest.

It seemed like the same path he was on when he was with the scouts.
Geno carefully moved to a branch that was closest to the path and hopped off. The rain wasn't as heavy up there than it was down there, geno looked around for the source of the voice.

"Madson, please I beg of you!!" The guy said, his voice was horse and dry almost as if he'd been crying.
Geno followed the voice and ran along the trail. The voices started to get louder as geno grew closer, up ahead he could see a few figures standing near the edge of the path.

The biggest figure he could see was standing exactly on the edge of the path, as if they're almost about to jump down to the deep forest. The big figure also held a small sack in front of him, over the edge.

There were two other figures near him, but they were being blocked by a few others. geno could only see one so far, they were a fire monster like grilby. The one next to it could be seen slightly through the others light, but they were to the side of the fire monster, using their coat to shield the fire monster from the rain.

"LET HER GO!!! please...please give her back to me!" The fire monster cried out, geno started to run towards them, enough to hear the taller monster.

"Of course I'll let her go!" The big monster said, his voice was filled with disgust and bitterness. But as geno got closer he realized how familiar the monster looked.

He looked like Asgore.

"No," geno whispered to himself as he slowed down as he got closer, "he isn't Asgore."

Madson was Asgore's father.

"Madson! Just stop already!" The monster next to the fire one yelled trying to get out from the monsters who blocked his way, "don't kill my daughter!!"

Geno's eyes widened as he looked over to the object Madson held over the edge.

Wrapped inside a small yellow blanket laid a small baby, slightly moving due to the noise. They stayed sleeping, unaware of where they were at at the moment.

And this time, geno started going at a full sprint, racing towards the baby. Not caring if he was going to be heard or not, he got his hand up ready to use magic at any point.

"HEY!!" Geno yelled summoning a few bones, but they paid no attention to him other than one guard who looked him straight in the eye.

And before geno knew it, a glass wall appeared in front of him and he ran straight into it. The impact wasn't as hard as geno thought it would be, but it knocked the magic right out of him and the bones dissappeared.
Geno fell to his side, looking back up to the guard to only find that they shifted their attention back to the fire and other monster.

"..h-hey!" Geno called out weakly and got up, the slam in the wall took out more of him than he thought.
Yet no one paid him any attention when he called out. Geno got up, lifting himself slowly off the ground.
He pounded the glass wall, seeing if he could break it but with no avail.

Madson held the baby slightly higher and more to the edge.
"This is what happens when you create this filth! You two tainted the bloods of our kind with this....this abomination!!"

Geno could only watch as the fire monster started to tremble in fear as Madson held their child.

"Apparently," Madson snapped, "Monsters need to see this happen to this thing over and over again till they stop breeding this filthy animal."

The baby started to squirm till it cried, it looked around for its mother but saw nothing and cried louder.

"Mommies here!" The fire monster cried out to the baby, "mommies here! Everything's going to be alright baby!"

"No, it's not." Madson deadpanned.

He let go of the child.

"NO!!" Geno, and the two monsters screamed.

A few branches were heard snapping till a huge thump and a crack echoed through the forest.

Then the sound of a dusting.

••••••••••••

"!!!" Geno jolted as he fell to his side on the ground. His eye opened wide as he quickly sat up and looked around.
His soul raced as he looked over to the side of him.

No gooey Kim. Good.

He looked to his other side, the orphanage was almost right next to him.
Geno patted his chest and took a deep breath.
"It's just a dream," geno yawned, he had been staying up for almost four days to avoid the crazy dreams he'd been having. You could see dark circles under his eyes if you look closely enough.

Geno looked over to the tunnel, the two guards where there, so geno must have dozed off for a few minutes. He had been reading all day and night to distract himself.
Geno laid his back on the tree, trying not to fall asleep again. Since he had already finished reading the books, he had nothing to distract himself with, and he couldn't go in the orphanage to get another because it was morning, everyone else was asleep.

Well, almost everyone.

Geno looked over to the Castel, studying it's features till he gazed over to deaths tower.
He looked at it for a few seconds before he saw a black figure slowing sitting down on the opening death had on his tower.

Geno immediately assumed it was death and looked at him curiously. Death stood at the edge of the opening and looked down, geno felt himself grew nervous as he saw death leaning.

And he jumped.

Geno squeaked and sat up completely straight, he looked to around the ground but didn't see death anywhere.
"Shit," geno panicked and stood up, he went around the tree and looked for death.

Suddenly, a swooping sound was heard not to far from geno. Geno turned his head and saw Death landing a few yards away from him.

Geno slightly gazed at the two things that were sprouted from deaths back. From the distance geno was, the things that were coming from deaths back seemed like two fat sticks poking out from it.

Soon the two things closed and bent down into deaths back. Geno stared a him longer before sitting down again.
He stared at death quietly, seeing if he was going to do something. It's been almost five days since geno seen him, he was slightly getting worried.

Geno saw death looked around before turning his head towards geno. Geno slightly turned his head in confusion but waved to see if death was looking at him.

Death waved back and started to walk over to geno as stealthy as he could. Geno held in a chuckle and moved a bit when death got near.

"Hello there vampire," Geno joked, death stifled a laugh and plopped right down next to geno. He pushed geno slightly and laid his back on the tree.

" Well, hello there monster," death said and looked over to the small pile of books geno had, "aren't you supposed to be asleep?"

"Aren't you supposed to be at work?" geno smirked,  death laughed and clutched his chest.

"I can feel the sass stab me," Death laughed in a dramatic tone, he looked over to the guards who were blocking the tunnel.
"I finished work already, I've just came out to take a walk."

"oh," geno quietly yawned and looked at death, "what do you even do in there?"

"Paperwork," Death shrugged, "about the food rations, water and other stuff. It's surprisingly a very long process to do."

"Wait, so that means you stayed five days in there doing nothing but paperwork?" Geno asked a bit shocked and slightly impressed, death nodded and sighed.
He showed geno his arm that had been covered in black ink, geno held in a laugh.

"D-did you drop it?" Geno said, his voice shook from trying to hold in the laughter, he knew how clumsy death was. Death frowned at geno, his cheeks were slightly tinted blue.

"No," death mumbled and wiped his arm. Geno raised an ' eyebrow ' and stared at him, this cause death to turn a bit more blue.
"......yes,"

"Ppff- Haha!" Geno broke out into a fit laughter, death started to turn a bit more dark blue. He slightly pushed geno for the teasing and stood up.

"I came out here to have a walk and I get teased," Death chuckled and put a hand to his face, hiding as much blue as he could.

"You shouldn't have walked over to me then," geno chuckled,  Death raised an eyebrow and smirked.

"How can I not?" Death laughed and looked down at geno, "I can smell your blood from a mile away,"

"Ugh, you make it sound like I stink," geno shivered, and looked up at death, "you said you were going for a walk?"

"Mmhm," death nodded and reached a hand out to geno, "I'm going into the forest, want to come?"

Geno looked at his hand for a second before grabbing on to it, he smiled as death helped him up from the ground, "yeah, sound fun."

As soon as geno got up from the ground the two skeletons started making their way to the tunnel. They took their time walking though, it was  morning, everything in the inside the mountain looked different. Even if it didn't change one bit, it just felt more alive.

"Halt," a slightly muffled gruff voice ordered, geno looked in front of him to see the two guards who guarded the tunnel. Both of them wore two metal helmets keeping their faces hidden from anyone who comes their way.

"Reasons to leave?" The other guard asked, but the question was more directed at geno than death. Even if the helmet hid their eyes geno could feel the cold stares they were giving him.

Geno started to feel something slip around his arm and saw death linking his arm with his.
"It's alright guys," Death said calmly and smiled, "he's with me."

"Of course, leader," The guards synced and stepped aside, but before geno and death could start walking the guards turned to them once more.
"Don't go far, and stay hidden."

Death nodded, "I always do."

Geno and death started to walk into the hallway, geno gave a polite wave to the guards and let death lead him on the tunnel.

The tunnel smelled like water, and after a couple of seconds of walking the ground began making splashing sounds. Geno looked down to see water slightly flooding the tunnel floor.

Geno looked at the exit of the tunnel, already forgetting that deaths arm was linked with his.
"It's raining," geno commented.

"Really? I thought it was sunny outside," death replied sarcastically,  he smiled a bit when geno pushed him a little.

They soon made it to the exit of the tunnel, the moist air and the cold wind made geno shiver.
He was kind of glad that the it was actually sprinkling rather than actually raining.

Geno felt death turned to him and look his way. Death pointed to a small a path leading into the trees.

"Shall we take our walk?"

•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•

Sule's fingers tapped onto the kitchen table with anxiety, it was the only noise the room had, after a minute of tapping she stopped and grabbed her juice box forcefully before chugging it down.

This process was repeated for a few minutes till she heard the doors of the kitchen open.
She stood up quickly, hoping that he would finally be here. And her prayers had been answered.

August walked through the doors, having a bag hang over his shoulder, he was slightly covered in rain. He didn't seem to notice or care that sule was standing in the same room as him and walked over to the fridge. He pulled out three water bottles and drank them all in a few short gulps.

"That's better," he sighed and walked over to the table sule was at and set down the brown bag without care. He leaned back on the chair and put his feet on the table causing sule to give an annoyed glare at him for ignoring her.

She then walked over behind him and put her hands behind her back.
"August," Sule said, her tone was forced to keep it from sounding annoyed.

August stayed silent, enjoying the fact he could sense the anger boiling inside her. Sule sighed and tried her best not to strangle him, but either way she knew she wouldn't.

"August," Sule said a bit more forcefully, she saw August smirk and she almost smacked the shit out of him. August began to laugh and opened his eyes, he felt satisfied making sule mad.

August chuckled and got up from the chair he was in and stood next to sule, he wrapped up a arm around her neck and let it hang on her shoulder.
"Aw, is sule mad at me?~" August asked in a innocent tone.

"Ugh," Sule rolled her eyes and took August's arm off her, and moved away. August smiled and looked at her.

"Stop looking at me like that sicko," Sule cringed, "I wanted to talk to you about something."

"And what might that be?~" August chimed and grabbed the bag from the table. He looked through it till he found what he was looking for and smiled, closing the bag.
Sule raised an ' eyebrow ' but shrugged it off.

"I was going to say," Sule started, "when are we going to finish it? you've been gone for days without any actual plan."

Sule looked at August seriously, but his expression didn't change. She scoffed and crossed her arms, "this it your plan August! Shouldn't you be working on it!?"

August chuckled and stroked Sule's cheek with the back of his hand. Sule immediately slapped his hand away and gave him a glare.
"I said I would help you but you're giving nothing to help with!"

"Oh sule," August sighed and walked over to the door that had the souls in it, he opened the door and motioned for sule to follow.
"What did you think I was doing all those five days?"

"Probably looking for your bond - mate or some shit," Sule grumbled as she walked into the room, August turned on the lights and pulled back the curtain.
The souls still glowed brightly even when the light was on. Sule took some time to stare at each color while August looked through his bag.

"I don't believe..." August words trialed as he took something out of the bag, he huffed as he pulled out a huge syringe and looked at sule, " -I've shown you how we create our little pets, Sule."

Sule slightly backed away and rubbed her wrist, "I'm only here to package and deliver, I don't handle the merchandise."

August smiled and set the syringe down on the counter, he then walked over to sule.

"Sule, sule, Sule. " August sang and walked around sule like a hawk, "did you forget what you are?~"

Sule shifted a bit, hugging her arms due to feeling uncomfortable by August.  She kept quiet, she's already heard this enough from him but it always made her gut twist in a bad way.

"You're a mistake sule," August said harshly, but if you paid attention you could hear some joy in his voice.
"But so am i."

Sule's eyes widened a bit, August has never talked about himself that way. He always talked as if he was above monsters and vampires.

"So," August said and wrapped an arm around sule, he brought her closer to the counter where the souls where at, "I want to prove that these mistakes can take over their pity little kingdoms."

"But I'm not completely sure why h
Though," Sule said cautiously, careful not to break the good mood August was in,"I mean, we're apart of that race, August."

August let go of her and looked at her a bit more seriously, "and look what that's done for us sule, they take away my family, they scar you for life, Just because we were born weak like this!" August hissed and looked away, Sule stood a few feet away, "but, we're going to prove to them that were not weak! That were going to make them pay for what they've done!! To show them that they're not above consequences!"

August looked back at Sule, a gleam shined in his eyes as he walked over to sule. Sule stood still, it didn't seem like August was going to hurt her this time.
August walked up close to her and grabbed her shoulders, "come one sule, let's prove to them what we can do. Just me and you."

It took a while for sule to be convinced, but she was more on convincing herself that August was right.
After a couple of minutes, she nodded. August smiled and led her back to the table, to the souls.
"Now for the next step, I need you to choose," August said as he pointed to each soul, "just pick one and I'll do the rest."

"Pick one?" Sule questioned, she looked at the different colors each had, "what are you going to do?"

"Just pick one and you'll see~" August chuckled and watched as sule looked at each one closely. She examined each one before tuning to a bright yellow one.

"This one," she said and pointed to the yellow soul. August smiled and nodded in approval.

"Justice, the perfect choice," August smiled and grabbed the syringe, he then walked over to the yellow soul and took the container to another table on the room.
He then set the container down gently and started to twist open the lid. Sule watched curiously over his shoulder, once the lid was off August immediately grabbed the soul.

"You're absorbing it!?" Sule said in a bit of shock and backed up, she saw August turn around with the soul still in his hand.

He scoffed and smirked, "of course not idiot, i couldn't even if I wanted too."  He held the soul up high, as if he were studying every last feature on it. He then grabbed the syringe and brought the needle close to the soul.

The needle sunk into the soul easily and a yellow liquid started to flow into the syringe. But this whole time sule kept wondering how it isn't shattering. All souls shatter when they're away from the person right?

While August was doing his thing, sule walked back to the souls. Each soul had a different color representing them.

There was light blue, dark blue, orange, green, purple, red, and of course yellow but that was with August.

Once August was done he carefully placed the soul back inside the container. The syringe had been almost filled up to the tip of the yellow magic.

August brought the Container with the soul back over to the others and placed it where it once was.

"How did you get those souls, August?" Sule asked suspiciously,  she crossed her arms and raised an ' eyebrow ' waiting for August to speak.
August casually walked back over to the table and grabbed the syringe, he placed it inside his bag and walked to the door.
"Sule, the monster and Human war didn't wipe out Every single human, think of it like a cookie. All those humans that died were the big parts of the cookie the monsters took."

"And those," August smile and pointed to all the souls, "those are the crumbs that fell off."

"Okay then," Sule said in a whisper and followed August out the door. They walked down a small hallways in complete silence. At the end of the hallway was a dull grey door, August opened it and let Sule walk in first.

Somethings up, sule thought as the stairs creaked underneath her, he's being way too nice.

Once sule and August reached the end of the stairs they were greeted with the sounds you would hear at a workshop.

"Sule!" A voice said cheerfully, they wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"What do you want Steven?" Sule said in annoyed tone, the monster that had their arm around her was a cow monster, his ears where slightly deformed as if they were caught in In a fire. He wore a spiked collar with a cow bell in the middle.

"Psh, can't I say hi!?" Steven grumbled and laughed, "you're never down here, we miss you pfff-."

Sule slightly glared at him and pointed to his clothes, all of which were covered in white dust, including his hands

"I for one like my clothes fuck-wad, and second I'm only walking here with August. I'm doing nothing more." Sule growled and walked along side with August who only smiled menacingly.

They passed by a lot of other monsters, whom of which wouldn't stop messing with them.

"Get back work!" August ordered and without a second thought the monsters where back deep within their work. Sule scoffed and continued walking till she and August made to an empty dark room.

"So, what are you going to do with that syringe?" Sule asked within the dark room, August didn't reply but opened the door and called out to someone.

"Get two dust bags ready! For our....guest" He called out, sule looked around the room in the darkness. So far it was empty, August walked around not even bothering to turn on the light. Not that they needed it.

"So," Sule spoke, she didn't admit it but her curiosity was eating her soul alive, "How does it work exactly? Do you just....poke them?"

"Tch," August stifled a laugh, "Of course not sule, there's a certain thing we must do first~"

Sule raised an ' eyebrow ' but didn't question it, August walked to the middle of the room and clapped his hands.

A smoke of grey dust fog like a mini tornado in the room, slowly the fog started to fade away. And in the middle of the room now sat a passed out bunny on a chair. His hands were tied behind the chair and duct tape was covering his mouth. He wore a dress shirt and jeans with a green tie around his neck.

Sule leaned on the wall and crossed her arms, looking at the bunny and August curiously. Funny thing is, she remembered that she's seen that bunny around before. In fact, she's the one who brought the bunny to August in the first place.

August smirked and the bunny before pulling out a long blade from his bag.

August trailed around the bunny, he looked amused as he fiddled with the tip of the blade. Sule watched him quietly, feeling a bit confused at what he was trying to achieve.

She slightly flinched when out of nowhere August raised his hands and scratched the bunny across the face. The bunny's eyes opened in pained panicked and looked around the room in fear. August slightly backed away quietly as the bunny struggled with his tied hands.

Sule stood still as well, the bunny couldn't see them, but they could see the bunny.

"Mmfp!" The bunny tried to scream but to no avail. August gave a low chuckle which made the bunny shift his attention to where the noise was coming from.
August walked over to the bunny again but he made no attempt to stay quiet.

"Hello there~" August said to the bunny, the bunny squinted his eyes trying to see August but the room was far to dark for him.

"Mmff!" The bunny struggled in complete fear, trying to loosen the ropes. This caused August to frown and hold the blade up to the bunny's cheek. The bunny immediately stopped squirming at the touch of the blade.

But August didn't stop, no, he sunk the tip of the blade into the bunny's cheek causing him to give a muffled scream. August then swiped the blade down, cause a huge gush of blood to spit from his cheek.
The monster screamed in pain as the open wound continued to bleed.

August chuckled and looked directly in the eyes of the bunny, he could sense his fear and pain. The bunny shook, feeling the burning sensation on his wound.

"You're probably wondering why you're here I believe," August smirked, the bunny nodded in fear at what he would do next.
"Well, that's because you're valuable to us. Well~ Once we're done with you that is."

"Ffpf!?" The monster tried to yell but his mouth was still covered in tape. August gave out a big laugh and looked at sule.

"Do you think I'll be able to cut deep to the bone?~" August smiled, the monster's eyes widened as he tried to get out of the rope faster.

Sule scoffed, "don't think so, the blade is too thick and dull." She saw August give stifled laugh and brought the blade close the the monsters shoulder.

"If it does you owe me a favor," August laughed and looked back at the bunny who was doing his best to get as far away from the blade as possible. This made August amused as he held the blade higher out of the monster sight.

And without hesitation, he stabbed the monster on the arm. The impact of the stab made the bunny fall to his side screaming. August picked him up by his sleeve and brought him close to his face.

"You're only making this worse for yourself, now I'll have to do something else before I go back to your arm~" August growled in a demonic tone, he grabbed onto the bunny's ear who was crying his eyes out.

August didn't care one bit and sunk his blade through the bunny's ear. The bunny screamed and tried to move away but August didn't let him. Then, as slowly as possible, August stared cutting a chunk off his ear. The red crimson blood stained his hands as he finally got the chunk off.

He threw it to the ground and watched as the piece of his ear turned into dust. The bunny's eyes winded at the sight and started crying some more.

"That'll teach you~" August laughed and looked back at the bunny's arm, "Let's get back to your arm shall we?~"

The bunny shook his head no but August didn't listen and brought the blade deeper into the wound he gave the bunny seconds ago.

More blood started to seep out of his arm as Sule watched the scene play out with an unimpressed expression.

Drips of blood fell to the floor as August tried to drive the blade deeper. He was basically digging on the wound causing the monster to cry and give off muffled screams.

August sliced the arm in a sawing motion to get deeper and deeper till...

He felt bone, he looked over at sule with a wide grin in his face. Slowly he took the knife out of the bunny's arm and walked over to sule.
He grabbed his bag he placed on the floor and took out a white piece of cloth, he wiped the blood off his hands and gave sule a evil smile.
"I hit bone, you owe me a favor now~"

"Oh Har har," Sule said and crossed her arms, she looked at August with a scowl and shrugged, "what do you want me to do? Shine your shoes?"

August shook his head no and pointed to the bunny in distress, "I want you to finish the job~"

Sule's eyes slightly widened in surprise but she regain her composer, "No, I said I wouldn't do shit like that, my LV's already gone up enough!"

"But dear, Sule." August hummed and walked around her, "think about how easy it will be to do it."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Sule slight snapped and turned her head head to August.

"Clearly you're not completely sure how this LOVE or EXP works~" August said and stood in front of sule, he looked her in the eyes and said:

"When you have enough EXP, your LOVE increases. LOVE, too, is an acronym. It stands for "Level of Violence." A way of measuring someone's capacity to hurt. The more you kill, the easier it becomes to distance yourself. The more you distance yourself, the less you will hurt. The more easily you can bring yourself to hurt others." August smiled and pointed to the bunny who seemed to struggle even harder against the ropes.
"Isn't that what you've wanted, Sule? For it to hurt less, so that every time you pass by that village and see your mother, knowing you can't ever talk to her. If you get some more LOVE You won't get that pain in your soul, am I wrong sule?~"

Sule took a step back, "How the fuck do you know I go over there!?"

"I have my ways~"
August smirked and walked back back to the bunny who tried to back up. He took out his blade but didn't strike, only swiftly took off the tape from the bunny's mouth.

"G-g-GET! Away!!" The bunny hissed, August gave and glare and walked behind the bunny.

"So how about it sule?" August asked, ignoring the bunny's blabbering, "do you want it to stop hurting?"

Sule only stared for a couple of seconds before slowly nodding. She walked up closer to the bunny but stayed a small distance away.

"Wonderful!" August chirped and brought the blade to the bunny's hands, "and just to make it fair, I'll untie you."

"Wha- AUUGG!" The bunny's screamed as August sliced through the ropes so fast it sliced some of the bunny's wrists. August then kicked the chair the bunny was sitting on, making him fall to the hard cold floor.

The bunny quickly stood up and backed away from August, "s-stop! Get - just Stop!!"

"He's all yours," August smiled and walked to the corner of the room with his bag.
"I suggest using your weapon sule~ it'll be quicker~"

Sule nodded and held out her hand, a yellow and purple light appeared in thin air. Slowly forming into that seems like a tail, the magic was bright enough for the bunny to see their faces.
Soon the magic turned into a soft glow and sule grabbed her weapon.

It was a yellow wip, it glowed with a small amount of purple. The handle sule held on was decorated with small hearts around it.

"Wait please!!" The bunny begged and backed up against the wall, "it'll do anything you ask! Please don't kill me!"

Sule stayed quiet but messed with the wip, making give off slashing sounds. This intimidated the bunny and he backed up a bit more.

"Please, I'll give you whatever you want." The bunny pleaded he held onto his arm that August's stabbed and tried to stopped the bleeding, "i-i have my wife and two girls to get back too. Please! I promised I would be home on their birthday!"

Sule slightly flinched, but it wasn't noticeable. She stood up straight and looked at monster before making the wip wrap around the bunny's unhurt arm.

Within second the bunny fell to his knees in pain, you could hear his arm sizzling and burning due to how Sule's wip burned like lava.
The bunny quickly tried to take the wip off his arm which was starting to turn black. He tried grab it but it only burning his other hand as well.

Finally he managed to get the wip off his arm, it fell to the ground but Sule quickly brought it back to her. The bunny trembled, looking at sule with his pained eyes.

Slowly he got up, not even bothering to move his arms.

"Please....please don't do this. I want to see my ki-"

Your EXP increased.

Your LV increased.

A huge black burn mark was marked across the bunny's chest as sule brought her wip down on him. A terrifying smiled was on Sule's face, one of amusement.
A huge smile flashed on August's face as he pulled out the syringe.

He ran to the door and opened it, two monsters ran into the room. They carried two buckets filled with dust.

"Sule!" August yelled and threw the syringe at her, she caught it with ease and looked at August.
"Put it in his soul before it shattered completely!"

Sule nodded and grinned, she raced to the monsters soul that was falling apart and stabbed the needle in it. The magic from the human soul started to empty into the monsters soul.

Once it was finished August grabbed the back of Sule's coat and pulled her back away from the monster.
"Now!"

The two monsters that had ran in got close to the bunny and threw the dust that was in the bucket onto him. The dust covered his body, and started seeping into some of the wounds Sule and August gave him.

*SAFE*

The bunny started melting, but the magic from the yellow soul made his body glow as he turned into white. The wounds slowly dissappeared as the dust in them turned into white goo as well.

And then, the bunny started to change, the goo stared to rise and form into its own body. Two heads started to form from where the bunny's shoulders where. They almost resemble dogs, a small head stated to form in the middle of the other two as the body was finished.

"Sule," August said snapping out of
her adrenaline trance, she looked up to him, "I think you should get your wip out."

Sule nodded in understanding and summoned her wip again, she ran toward the monster and wrapped her wip around on of the necks and brought it to the ground. The monster wined as it hit the ground, sule stepped stepped on the wip, making it harder for the monster to lift up its head.

"Good work, sule~" August chimed and walked over to her, he looked through his bag before pulling out a light black cloth with yellow highlights on it.

He gave it to sule and smiled, Sule took and nodded.

"How did you get this?" Sule asked, as she held the cloth close to the monster, "isn't this from the yellow district?"

August nodded and grinned, "you see, Sule. Blue district is willing to do anything for protection. Even giving away things to find the other district~"

Sule smirked and stepped on one of the monsters heads, she brought the cloth close to the other head that resembled a dog one. The head started to sniff the cloth, moving it's head violently towards a certain direction.

The monster tried to get up, going to the way of the sent. Sule smiled and threw the cloth aside. She then stepped off the head but kept the wip on it.

"Good monster," she said sweetly and unwrapped the wip from their neck.

"Now go fetch~"
