Chapter 19

AUTHOR's pov

Aditya sat in his office staring at the files for god knows how long. It's been a long time since this Kartha group of companies has been messing with him.

For the first time when they attacked him physically, he let it go since his lady love had saved him and that incident gave him Shreya, now he saw the huge mess in his work. Someone from his company has been leaking pieces of information to them.
He knew it was high time he had to finish them up but then he was patiently waiting for the right time.

And very suspiciously Hemanth's company the Blue Ocean was also silent for the last two months.

Strange it was! But this silence did not give Aditya any peace cause this silence made him fear Vaishnavi. He still had no idea where Hemanth had taken her, he still had no idea where Hemanth was and last but not least the only person Hemanth cared much?! He had no idea about her too.

Oh poor him...

Suddenly his phone pinged with messages from his lady love.

Shreya: Adhiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
She had sent with a ton of emojis making him smile

Not waiting for his response she called him.

"Hello Adhi listen na" she started and with her voice and her tone he knew she was up to something

"Tell me sweet love" he asked to which she giggled

"I am going to a party in the neon pub! You know what? Amurtha aunty permitted to stay overnight since it Rithvik's birthday" Shreya said, her voice as chirpy as a bird

"And I would love to join us! You know even Rithvik said he wants you there" Shreya added

Of course, after being carried away by 4 huge men just cause he wanted to help his friend! It was indeed surprising to see Rithvik wanting him at his birthday party.

"Say my wishes to your friend Shreya, but I have a meeting in an hour and I can't miss it, sweetheart," he said and already could see her pouting

"Please?!" she asked

"I and Sri brought a new dress and all" Shreya said again hoping she would meet her boyfriend in the brand new dress she brought for herself.

Now that was tempting! But Adithya had just promised himself he would concentrate

"Nah nah! Not melting sweetheart! The meeting is important "he said and Shreya hummed in response after a few more seconds of talks they ended the call

A few hours later, the evening was full of life while Aditya sat in front of a group of clients who were discussing new strategies and information for the project.

And normally being bored of this his eyes slid to the notifications in his phone and saw the social media pings of his lady.

His fingers worked faster than light to open her story! And believe me when I tell you his jaw dropped.

There she was in a red dress, her black hair all wavy and set perfectly on her shoulders, her red lips highlighted She had no accessories on in the picture, she seemed to be posing with her friends.

What was that? Was she trying to give him a heart attack?

"Now I'm supposed to focus here while everyone at that party sees her? No way?" Adhi asked suddenly his Pa who sat next to his chair

"Sir what?" Asked that confused soul

To even think he would sit here sulking at this meeting while the world out there gets to see her in that fucking perfect red dress made him rethink his decisions.

Aditya leaned back in his chair, his jaw tightening. He glanced at the meeting, then at the photo again.

"Like hell! I am staying here" he mumbled under his breath

"Excuse me, I just realized I have a... personal emergency. I'll need to step out." even before people could respond he grabbed his phone and rushed out to the party

And he knew was one thing that Vineeth would be embarrassed by his behaviour.

Here at the party! Someone seemed to drink their soul out cause she had permission and her friend sri had promised to take her back home no matter how drunk she was.

Shreya could feel her eyes dizzy, the fact she was high as fuck was real but then how come Aditya who had denied her invitation to the party stood in front of her in all his glory?

"Hiiii,"he said cheeky standing in front of her

"Adhiiiii?!" she yelled in surprise at his voice  to which he immediately sighed to lower her voice

"You came? For me?" She asked and she hugged him
Drunk Shreya is dramatic.

Adithya nodded hugging her back.

"Come let's go meet Rithvik and wish him" She dragged him and like a kid, he followed
And after wishing Rithvik who still seemed to be afraid to shake hands with Adhi.

Noticing this Shreya giggled as she leaned towards Adhi and pulled his cheeks.

"Adhi! Your sooooooo handsome like really really handsome like goddamn handsome" said Shreya the drinks in her was doing things at their best.

"Right! How many drinks did you come to this conclusion " Aditya asked

Shreya showed her three fingers at first then added two more before removing one finger and adding two more

"5? Or 6 I don't know math is hard" she pouted

"Thank god you showed up! She was almost gone start crying that the sugar was too sweet! I didn't know what to do" sri who had just spotted them said as she gave Adhi Shreya's purse.

"I'll take care of her from here sri! You enjoy the night " Aditya said as he held Shreya to his chest.

While the party still went on Shreya turned more clingy and playful not that Aditya complained but the god was in the mood to test his gentlemanly skills today.

"Adhi did I tell you how much I like you?" She asked

"Yea! Like 6 times already" he said and  suddenly he looked at her realising she had not answered him back

She had started to come close to him while her left hand stayed on his chest her right one traced his face and his features

"Your eyes Adhi! They make me weak" she said tracing his nose, the closer she came the more her warm body came in contact with his.

He felt her soft lips on his right eye as she softly kissed him and then on his left and then slowly on his nose.

And like a thousand electric shocks given in a minute, Adhi immediately realised what was next and stopped her.

"You know what? You're too drunk! You better come sleep at my penthouse tonight and leave home in the morning " Aditya said
