"So that concludes it then, I suppose it was just a bad day my lady," Maester Luwin closed the notebook he had written last minute notes in before turning to the Dornish girl and smiling.
"Well not much else has happened," Victoria respondes, pressing her hands together underneath the table to keep them from trembling. Liar, liar, she thought to herself with every word she spoke and even the smile she gave.
This was her last checkup with him since finding out she was with child. Robb had insisted she get sporadic check ups in the last two weeks and each one had sent her stomach into her throat as she's prayed that the Maester not conclude the inevitable just yet. So far it seemed everything was well and by all accounts she was never better.
"Best you get supper then, Lord Stark should be waiting for you now. I have some scrolls to attend to so I shall meet you there," he releases her from his study and the girl nearly jumped up so fast she tripped over the hem of her skirt.
Elaine looked to her lady and curtsies the Maester before walking behind the Dornish beauty. The blonde was silent, head down as she followed the footsteps of her lady. They went out to the hallway where there was only silence and only then did both break from the silence.
Victoria leaned against the wall, placing one hand over her mouth and the other on her womb she took deep breaths. Her voice was low, "bloody hell, I thought he was going to find out."
Elaine paced, making sure that no one was coming, "I nearly toppled when he asked about your moon blood, it's a wonder he hasn't suspected."
Victoria dropped her hand so both now cradled her stomach and sighed, "thank the gods that's the end of that."
"Until your tum starts popping out and we've got a whole new set of problems on our hands." Elaine quipped back. Victoria smiles at the small jab her handmaiden has thrown, she knew the blonde had slowly been allowing herself to be seen as more of a friend then a maid and she was glad to see her finally growing comfortable enough to show disproval to her face. Many other Ladies would have been quick to yell back or grow angry but Victoria saw different, to her Elaine was one of the few she could trust with honesty.
"We'll cross that bridge eventually, for now I think we deal with the important issues." Victoria rebutted and smoothed her hand over her womb. She would be lying if her pregnancy wasn't a big issue but there was still some that needed more attention. "I have to speak to Robb, see if he's heard anything from the Kong's Landing."
The Stark and Valiente patriarchs had not sent out ravens in weeks, there was no letters, no word from anyone in the kingdom. She was beginning to grow worried and like the rest of Winterfell, antsy.
Elaine seemed to agree, "are you hungry?"
Victoria nodded her head, "I'm famished actually, must be nearing those times."
Elaine tilted her head to her a better look at the bump and a small smile rose to her lips. She'd guessed the Lady Valiente was nearing her third month, the blonde was no Maester but she had learned quite a few things from the brothels.
Elaine nodded her head, "I'll fix you something, let us hope it does not trigger your nausea."
The lady nodded, her dark hair glistening in the fires as she turned to exit. "I suppose it's time to go see the father of my child."
The brunette held her head high and dropped her arms, walking forward and smiling as if nothing crowded her mind.

"We'll have to check the supply on wheat and barley, make sure there is enough to go around the north." Robb spoke with Theon, he lifted the ale to his lips and dipped gingerly on it.
Victoria stared at him, his blue eyes like crystal lakes as he spoke so confidently. Robb had privately whispered to her his worries and concerns about being warden but the role seemed to fit him like a glove. He was strong and confident, knowledgeable just like his father, indeed Robb Stark would make a great Warden of the North.
He would make an even better father...
The thought crossed her mind unintentionally and as if on instinct she pressed her hand underneath the table and to her stomach. The child that grew in her would no doubt recognize the man himself and grow to idolize him, the only question would be if the child followed with his father name.
Victoria was so lost in the world of this small child she did not notice when Robb turned to her and met her eyes. His lips upturned, "my lady, quite a wandering look you're giving, tell your beloved what is on your mind."
She adored the soft voice he spoke to her with, Robb Stark could have been a tyrant to the world but to her he was gentle and warm. Her hand dropped beneath the table and she inched closer to him, a lie finding itself coiled with her winning smile, "I was just thinking about Dorne, I miss the summer."
Robb pressed her closer to him, gently patting her head to his shoulders, "have I not kept your warm enough my darling."
Theon coughed a laugh from his side of the table but didn't seem bothered by their affection, Jon and him had seen worse from the two and still had not cared. Victoria couldn't take her eyes off the mesmerizing blue of his own and responded, "oh my husband, you are quite the man but even you would see Dorne and admit you'd miss the endless summers."
"Well who wouldn't with your wine and whores, I miss it and ever never been." Theon commented and downed his ale.
The lovebirds looked to him and laughed, the tension of duties and honor falling off their shoulders as now they were only three teenagers acting as if lives did not depend on them.
"I'm afraid one of these days your favorite soldier might ride off from your camp." Victoria joked, she continued to eat, pressing her bowl closer to her as Robb adjusted so his hand was now on her upper thigh and squeezing.
"If there's women like you I'm sure I'd do it gladly for them," Theon rebutted with a smirk. He often did joke like this, but they were harmless as Theon had made it clear he had only seen the Dornish beauty like a longtime friend. Robb never batted an eye when it jokingly made advance to his future lady, after all Victoria was more then capable of holding her own.
"There are no women like me," she responded swiftly and bit into her food.
"Thank the gods, my soldier has one too many villages left to raid." Theon wittily responded and took another sip of his ale.
Victoria had finished her bowl in record timing and was hungry for another just as she turned to ask Elaine for yet another portion the Maester came running in.
The look on his face silenced the room, the Maester was a serious man but tranquil, this expression however was of rage.
He held a scroll in his hand, clutching it as he walked over and handed it to a standing Robb, "this has come from Kings Landing."
Robb reaches for the scroll and quickly begins to read through it. He takes longer then expected and Victoria once again feels troubled. His blue eyes are not giving anything away until finally Robb's looks up in complete shock. "Treason? Sansa wrote this?"
"It is your sister's hand, but the Queen's words." The Maester nods his head.
"Robb, what's going on. What does it say?" Victoria stands and she feels her chest tighten as she awaits her lovers answer. Her heart pounds so quickly and she feels like panic is beginning to set in as she worries. Her Uncle Oberyns words and warnings begin to arise in her head as Robb turns to her and his blue eyes are now sad.
"Our fathers are being held prisoners for treason against the new king. Victoria... I'm sorry but they are evening called enemies to the crown." Robb stares to his betrothed and immediately reaches out as Victoria semester physically impacted. She grasps the table for balance and bites her tongue to stop from gasping or being overly emotional but it is hard. She had feared this day, it had always been a taunt in the back of her head to know that this was a possibility. Her father was a good man with loyalties that went beyond compare and sometimes those for you killed.
"You are summoned to King's Landing to swear fealty to the new King." The Maester goes on and looks to the both of them as he speaks. Victoria's eyes glisten with rage as she ignores the panic and focuses on what truly matters.
Robb is as angry, "Joffrey puts my father and my betrothed's father in chains, now he wants his ass kissed?"
Luwin reasons with the Lord to no avail, "This is a royal command, My Lord. If you should refuse to obey..."
Robb's is like a true wolf as his temper peaks and his wits are shown. There is no fear as he speaks and clarifies, "I won't refuse. His Grace summons me to King's Landing, I'll go to King's Landing. But not alone. Call the banners."
"All of them, My Lord?" The Maester is as shocked as the rest of them, each staring at Robb's bold decision with a mixture of pride and fear.
"They've all sworn to defend my father, have they not?" Robb rebutta.
"They have."
"Now we see what their words are worth." Robb nods and his decision is final, war it is.
Victoria realizes that this too is her moment as Joffrey has harmed both royal families and called for both their answers. She reaches out and presses her hand to Robb's with encouragement. His eyes find hers and she gently nods, letting him know that now she was with him, she would always be.
Victoria clears her throat and forces any fear to diminish as she speaks like a true lady, like a true defender of her home, her house, and her title. "Send word to Dorne as well, the North has my fathers army as well. They will come to fight alongside us."
"Who will guard your home, my Lady?" The Maester responds as now he is shocked to hear the Dornes will be involved.
"They will, by defending their Lord and Lady. War had always been a possibility, we prepared for this and now my army shall show its true grit."
