Uh... Melin, I've got to cast my mind back to answer that one!

I remember reading a Harry Potter/Percy Jackson crossover which I thought was amazing and then I remember getting annoyed at the fact that it wasn't finished... so I thought f*** it!  I'll write my own.

And thus Them and Us was born!

That's pretty much it, after that I just kept writing and never looked back!
