The sunlight shined down into the room that housed the quartet of girls, the four broke, busy, college students who had stayed up until late hours of the night. The four had stayed in their respective bedrooms, and pairs shared a bathroom. Each room was small and had about enough room for one bed and a desk, and maybe a dresser if the person got a bigger room. But the bathrooms were quite spacious,, which was why the pairs managed to share. Juni and Aeiji shared one bathroom, Junis' stuff always being organized and placed back into its respective places while Aeijis stuff was always scattered near her sink and thrown anywhere she could find. On the other hand the other bathroom was pretty similar, except it was more decked out. When one person sharing the bathroom is a supermodel, the bathroom always has anything people need. The mirror in Asamis' and Iseuls bathroom had ring lights all around the square and there wasn't one square inch that didn't have makeup on it. The girls apartment wasn't that big but it was surely something that put a roof over their head and in their price range.
The first to wake up was Iseul, she had always been used to waking up early for classes or early shifts at her bakery. The girl had always found herself to be an early bird unlike her roommates who tended to sleep in until twenty minutes before their first class or until they decided to rise up from the dead.
Iseul yawned when she sat up from the bed, stretching out her limbs. She looked over to the bed to her left to see Asami spread out over her bed, messy hair with her sleep mask and all. The red-haired girl swiftly got out of bed, grabbing her robe and slippers from the pile of clothes left on the chair in the room before she made her way to the bathroom. The girl started to think of her plans for the day, quickly realizing today was Thursday, which meant she had no classes or work.
After twenty minutes went by, Iseul managed to get out of the bathroom and find her way to the kitchen. The white marble countertops, white cabinets, and silver appliances made the kitchen look like heaven to Iseul. It fit her standards for a perfect workstation, she stood by the stove just dreaming of all the amazing meals she could make in the kitchen today.
"Good morning." Iseul thought quietly to herself, she started to brew a cup of coffee for herself, and she then looked in the fridge to try to find something to make herself this morning for breakfast.
Suddenly a loud thud could be hear coming from where the bedrooms were, from behind the wall suddenly Aeiji appeared hopping on one foot struggling to put one of her shoes on. She continued to hop over to the kitchen counter, she didn't even look up to see her red-headed friend. The girl finally put her shoe on and started to straighten out her suit jacket, the girl then rushed over to the pantry.
"Good morning Aeiji." Isuel giggled watching her friend run around their kitchen.
Aeiji finally looked up to Isuel before continuing to dig through the pantry, "Sorry, Morning Suel." The girl finally stopped digging around to instead grab a banana off the counter on top of the pantry, "I'm running late for my club meeting, I'm everywhere."
"I'm sorry to hear that." Iseul responded as she sipped her coffee, trying not to giggle at her friend as she walked around the kitchen.
"We are meeting with a club sponsor today and it's so stressful." Aeiji continued to now run around the kitchen like a chicken with its' head cut off.
Iseul nodded, now thinking of how bored she's gonna be for the rest of the day, "Soooo," The red headed girl started, "You want to play some video games later today?"
"I'm sorry Seul, I have got major work to do later for my club. I thought being the social chair would be fun, not meaning I have to do research on whoever the owner of C&R International is." Aeiji apologized.
Iseul tried not to show she was upset, smiled, "It's okay! No worries Jiji."
"You're the best Seul! I promise another day!" Aeiji now made her way to the door, now all her stuff stacked in her hand. The speed walking girl opened the door and yelled, "See you later!"
Iseul was now left alone in the kitchen once again, silence filling the room once again. The girl looked around the house thinking of some chores she could do to keep herself occupied for the day. But all the dishes were done, the couches and counters were all cleared, and there was no laundry to be done. Iseul sighed as she sipped her coffee again, that was until she heard a noise coming from where the bedrooms were.
Out walked Asami from the hallway, her hair in rolled curlers, a small fanny pack placed across her chest. In her hand was a makeup case while her head was tilted to the side to hold her phone to her ear, "Trev, I'm on my way right now." She started, connecting eyes with Iseul, she smiled waving, "Yeah, yeah, I know. No Trev you listen, I am coming right now."
Iseul waved back to her roommate, she laughed as she watched her friend lie to her manager about where she was.
"Trev i'm literally in my car." Asami lied, just then the doorbell rang. Asamis' face went to a small panic as she looked to Iseul and whispered, "Please get the door. What? Trev? No that wasn't a doorbell! It was my cars horn! Yeah, totally new model, I don't even think people in the United States have cars like this! Yeah, yup, okay bye!"
Iseul walked over to the door, still holding her laugh back. The girl opened the door, greeted by a man with a drink carrier, "For Ito Asami?" Iseul looked back to her roommate who waved her to bring them in. Iseul smiled and nodded before grabbing the drinks and bringing them inside.
"Coffee?" Another voice asked, both the girls looked over to see Juni walking into their kitchen.
"From me, I got us all coffee since I knew I wouldn't have time at home to make my own." Asami explained as she grabbed her coffee from the bunch.
"Thank you Asami." Iseul thanked, now pushing her once made coffee away.
Juni nodded as she grabbed her drink, "Yeah thank you so much, I'm gonna need it with the chemistry exam I have today." The girl groaned, "Then I have two students to tutor today after, like why did I choose to tutor people?"
"You're telling me Jun! I have two shoots back to back today and I'm already late for one!" Asami complained as she started taking her rollers out of her hair.
Iseul sipped on her drink as she watched her two friends complain about their busy days, this made her realize she was bound to be alone most of her day. The girl couldn't have but feel like she was being unproductive with her day, but she had nothing to do, "So," The redhead started, "I'm assuming that means neither of you have time for your favorite roommate today?"
Juni looked to Asami then back to Iseul, "Sorry babe, I am crammed from eleven until around six-ish because of my tutoring gig."
"Yeah, i'm booked solid until 9 tonight, and that's me being nice." Asami frowned.
Iseul nodded, "I understand."
"Shit! Is it really 9:27?" Asami asked, quickly she grabbed all her stuff and rushed out the door, "I won't be here for dinner but I love you guys! Bye!" She shouted as she slammed the door shut.
"You really don't have time to hang today Juni?"
Juni looked over to Iseul, staring back at her roommate who was frowning, "I'm sorry Seul, I might have time to come back here and we can have lunch?"
The girl suddenly smiled, "Sounds great! I can make it for us!"
Juni nodded at her friend, now grabbing a few books off the counter, "Okay, i'll see you for lunch around 2? We can meet in the park." Juni asked as she made her way to the door.
Iseul nodded, "Good with me!" Then Juni shut the door, and Iseul was left to be alone, "Now what to do until 3."
