The Basement. It was down the left hallway on the first floor, past two doors. When Bodil, Jerome, Mitch, and Ian got there, it was dark and dusty. Once they found the lights, however, it was just dusty. The first room was connected with a hallway, and the walls and ceiling were white. There were no tables or anything, and it was underground so there were no windows. At the end of the hallway, there was a wooden door. The hallway also turned left, a larger, iron doorway leading to yet another room.
"Which way first?" Jerome asked, holding a spear as a weapon in his hand.
"Let's start with what's ahead of us." Mitch answered.
They walked to the first door, the wooden one. It was unlocked, and the group when it cautiously. Another white room, however more square, connected to another white hallway. Not even a piece of furniture. It was all so dull. It seemed as if nothing had walked through the halls in decades.
"Onward, my friends." Bodil said, and they turned down the next hallway, seeing another wooden door at the end.
Going through the next door, they found themselves in a room with a huge, square, black table, and only three chairs. It had room for 15 to 20 chairs. On the other sides of the room, there was another black wooden door to the right, and one to the left.
"This looks like a meeting room." Jerome said.
"A meeting for three people that need way too much space." Ian said. "Where did all the other chairs go?"
"Maybe the people that put them here realized they weren't alone and left before finishing?" Bodil asked.
"They furnished this whole damn house without realizing they weren't alone?" Mitch scoffed. "I don't think so."
"Anyway, there are two more doors. Which way?" Ian asked, walking around the table, having to push a chair under the table to get by.
"I'm curious how far this place goes." Bodil said.
"Right it is."
The group continued passed the table and went through the door on the right. Another, pure white hallway. However, at the end of this hallway, there were bars. Iron bars. And an Iron bar door. They walked over to the iron bars, Mitch pushing the door open with his stone sword. It creaked.
"I wonder why they put bars here instead of a wall." Jerome said.
They walked passed the iron doors to find themselves in the middle of a hallway. To the right was a door, and to the left was another larger iron doorway. Jerome began walking down to the door on the right. The others followed. Walking in, they found themselves in a small room. iron bars were placed in the middle of the room, making the other side of the room a cell. There was an iron door, opened.
"Feels more like this basement was supposed to be a jail or base or something." Mitch said.
Ian shivered. "It's cold in here."
"I don't like it in here." Jerome said.
"Me neither." Bodil agreed.
They left that room immediately. Heading back down the hallway, they went to the iron doors next. There was a leaver, and the doors opened when Ian pulled them. Walking in, pressure plates on the floor made the doors close afterwards. The room had a long, thin wooden table with a chair at both ends, as well as a book shelf. On the white walls was a large, light brown sheet of paper attached to the walls. To the right was another wooden door. It was cracked and broken.
Mitch checked the poster on the wall. It was nothing but paper. Nothing was on it and there was nothing behind it. Jerome went over to the old door, trying to open it. It didn't move. It was locked.
"I guess this is the end of the basement. It's rather large, don't you think." Ian asked.
"This basement definitely gives off that feeling of some sort of meeting place. A place where plans were made. A place where prisoners of war were possibly kept?" Mitch said.
"I wonder when this mansion was really built. I could possibly be some sort of secret base using during a world war." Bodil said.
"Guys." Jerome said. "Come here."
Ian, Bodil, and Mitch walked over to Jerome, whom had his head pushed up against the broken door. They looked at him, confused.
"What is it?"
"Do you smell that?" Jerome asked.
Mitch sniffed the air near the door. Smelled like a rotting door. Nothing more. Bodil and Ian were left confused as well.
"No. What is it?" Mitch asked his friend.
"The other side of the door...i smell," Jerome took another sniff. "I smell dirt. Air. It smells like outside!"
Mitch grabbed the door handles, trying to turn them. A click was heard. It was locked alright. Then Mitch tried to kick the door open. Dust flew everywhere, and instead of breaking, they were forced to step back. They coughed the dust out of their lungs.
"This door could lead to our freedom, but there is no way to kick it down. We need to find a key." Mitch coughed.
"We're so close!" Bodil said. "We've got to do something!"
"And even if we get it open. It's a risk just to go back and tell everyone." Ian said.
"And we can't leave them!" Jerome said.
"We could leave then and get help! Then return with ways to break down the front door!" Mitch said.
Mitch ran at the door again, kicking it. It did nothing but spray dust everywhere.
"Mitch, you're going to suffocate us with all this dust." Jerome said.
"Dammit." Mitch hissed.
"Well at least we have something to report back with. We can come back later, with the others." Bodil sighed.
"Well." Ian spoke. "We did miss a few more doors. We can go back and investigate them. Then return with our findings."
"Alright. Fine." Mitch turned back to face his group. "Let's go then."

The 3rd floor was the one with the piano room. In fact, the 3rd floor only had two rooms. Once you got up the stairs, there was a room to your right and to your left, and then the stairs to the 4th floor. On the right was the piano room, and to the left was the stairs and a library. Rows and rows of nothing but books. Sky was the one who opened the piano room door with the key, and he, Tyler, Seto, Jason, and Sub walked in.
The room was huge. In the middle was a pure white piano. To the sides were some book shelves, but nothing more. Sub walked over to the piano and began to play with the keys. He didn't know how to play anything majestic, but he was pretty good anyway.
"Wow, Sub, is there anything you're not better then me at?" Sky joked, walking up behind Sub.
Sub rolled his eyes. As Seto and Jason watched, Seto inspecting the piano, Tyler was still by the door. He looked around at the room, but his eyes landed on the piano seat. It was as if he'd seen this room before. The longer he starred at it, the more familiar it became. Then a picture, a scene, flashed within his mind. Of Seto dying on that bench. Tyler shook his head, breathing slightly harder than before. It was only from a dream. A dream of which he didn't want to and hardly did remember.
"There doesn't seem to be anything interesting in here. I don't see any keys." Seto said.
"We have two more floors to cover and no time to lose." Sky said. "I'm sorry, Suberino, but you need to get up."
Jason chuckled and Sub got up with a pouting look on his face. The group walked of the room, investigating the library, however not finding anything on first glance. Deciding to come back later, they went up stairs to the forth floor.
The forth floor had only two rooms as well. The room above the piano room was a large lounge type place, with rugs and chairs and more bookshelves. Even two beds with pure white sheets. Though, there were a few things off with this room. There was a giant hole in the floor between the two beds, and you could see the piano room below. The flooring around the hole was lose, and so the group kept cautious of that side of the room.
The other thing was that, on the other side of the room, on the walls farthest from the door, was a leaver and a control panel. There were no signs saying what they did. No warning labels on the control panel.
"I don't think we should touch them right now." Jason said.
"What could they possibly do?" Sky asked.
"I would think they control lighting, maybe for the upper floors, but other then that, there is no telling." Tyler suggested.
"Another thing we'll need to come back to. Maybe something elsewhere will give us a clue." Seto suggested.
"Or maybe it'll be one of those trial and error things." Sky sighed.
"We are not going to do the trial and error thing right now though." Seto said. "Only for emergencies."
"If nothing else, the leaver with blow everything up." Tyler said.
Seto looked back at Tyler, giving him a glare.
"As I said. Nobody pull the leaver. Not unless it is our only other risk."
"Got'cha." Tyler said.
Looking around a bit more, the group went on to the second room on the floor. The room was large, having a white rug to one corner. There was a single desk with a single chair against the wall, counters, and an empty bookshelf. There was an empty closet with a curtain as the door, and in the middle of the room was a large, red, comfy chair. It had to be one of the only things in the mansion with any sort of color to it.
They investigated the room as well, taking turns to play around or sit on the red chair before leaving to go to the 5th floor. When they got to the top of the stairs, they found a door almost immediately in front of the stairs. The door was cold and large. The walls around the door were stained in blood. The group stared at the walls in horror.
"My god. What the hell?" Jason gasped.
"I don't like the feel of this." Sky almost whispered. He was out of breath.
"I think we shouldn't continue on." Seto said. "Stop for now."
Tyler shook his head, gulping away most of his fear. He was the first to approach the door, his hand touching the door nob and a haunting coldness shooting down his arm and to his spine. He jumped back.
"Tyler. Really." Seto hissed.
"Could this be It's den." Jason said and they looked at him. "I mean, it looks like it."
"Can't argue with that." Sky shrugged.
"If we're scared now, who knows if we'll be scared later. Nobody wanted to leave the room, nobody wants to go inside this room. Eventually, we'll haft to. Might as well get it over with." Tyler frowned.
Sub gave Tyler a little shove, telling Tyler that he needs to go first then. Tyler sighed and gathered his courage. Looks like he was to do so or back out. Reaching for the knob again, Tyler turned it and slowly pushed open the door. It creaked softly, and they, one by one, stepped inside.
The room was large and had white walls and ceiling. On the other side of the room was a black, wooden door, and a piece of light brown paper taped to the wall. But on the floors. On the floors. Numbers painted in bright red blood in a circle. A clock. There was 1 through 12, and in the middle, a dot to show the middle of the clock. There were no arrows though.
"What the fuck?" Sky gagged at the stench the blood made. The air smelled of blood.
Tyler stood in the middle of the clock, looking around at the numbers. A puzzle? Seto and Sub walked over to the piece of paper on the wall. Seto read it aloud.
"The clock strikes one, one goes down. The clock strikes two, one goes down. So on, so forth. But once the clock strikes twelve, another one falls. The clock can strike one again, but the loop has restarted and all shall fall again. One is left alive each time. That is, unless the clock is broken."
"What's that?" Jason asked.
"That's what this paper says." Seto said, pointing to the thing. "I don't really get it though. What's it mean?"
"You think it has something to do with the one that was left when Ant was killed?" Tyler asked.
"Well..." Seto walked around the clock, looking at each number he passed.
"It's always a suggestion." Jason shrugged.
"One is left alive each time. That is, unless the clock is broken..." Sky had walked over to read the passage himself.
"This clock? I don't think you can break this clock." Tyler said to himself.
"Probably not." Jason sighed.
"I feel like this is something we should have the others here for. Any suggestions would help. We can't figure this out alone." Seto thought aloud.
Tyler knelt down to the floor, looking down at the blood that formed the middle of the clock. He wasn't completely dry, but it wasn't fresh. He frowned as the image in front of him was again distorted by the cracks in his glasses. How could he have forgotten? He shook his head and stood back up.
"I want to stay here and investigate. Maybe use a spell to get some information. In the mean time, some of us should go back to get the others. Stop by the safe room for Bashur, Ty, and Brice first." Seto said.
"I would like to stay here too." Tyler said.
"Jason? Sub? Sky?" Seto asked, looking at the three.
"It's dangerous up here. I don't think it's a good idea to leave you two alone." Sky said.
"Me and Sub can go downstairs quickly." Jason offered.
"What about the monster?" Tyler asked.
"We'll run." Jason simple said. "We run back up, you'll save us. We run downwards, we can find Mitch and his group. I've got jet backs. No worries."
Sky and Seto seemed unsure.
"I won't leave Sub behind. I wouldn't." Jason playfully said.
"Alright. I trust you." Seto sighed.
"We'll be back soon. Keep yourselves safe too!" Jason said to the three.
Seto watched as Jason and Sub left the room. He couldn't blame them. Jason probably just wanted out of the room. Sub too.
Almost racing down the stairs, Jason was in the lead. Sub grinned, jumping down steps and running after the man in the blue outfit. For those few moments, the two were actually having fun again. Chasing each other. And the two had hardly even seen each other before this whole mess had started.
But as you've probably already guessed, fun dosn't last long in the EnderOni's mansion.
Almost tripping on the stairs, the two made it to the second floor, Sub in the lead. He was out of breath, but smiling. Without paying attention, he turned towards the hallway that lead to the safe room. He was ahead of the game.
"SUB! WATCH OUT!"
In a blur, Sub turned around to find himself being pushed out of the way of something racing towards them. The Oni. Sub hit the wooden floor, a sharp pain rushing through his body. He heard a loud crash and looked up to see Jason hitting the wall, his helmet cracking and orange glass falling to the floor. Sub gasped, getting up and running to his new found friend.
"Move!" Jason yelled. "Run!"
Sub stepped back to watch as Jason launched himself at the Oni, whom now clocked them from the stairs. Everything he could ever dream of saying rushed through his mind, and he wanted to yell. He wanted to help. Jason was able to leave a few punches on the Oni, but it was far too strong for just the two of them. Sub narrowed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He did have his spear, how low level it was.
Sub took it out of it's place in one of his belt loops, holding it up and running at the monster. The Monster dodged, moving at top speeds.
"SUB!"
The Monster's claws stretched into the air, slashing the air, aimed at the mute teen. Sub tried to turn away, but the monster was quick. Not quick enough. A blue and orange blur got in between the two. That blur was hit. That blur was sent to the floor. More orange glass littered the floor. Another load thump echoed through the hall. And Sub was left to stare down from the Oni and to the motionless mess on the floor beside him.
Sub began to shake, the spear dropping from his hands. He dropped to the floor, shaking Jason. Jason didn't respond. He screamed in his mind, being mute holding him back. He turned Jason over to find that the orange glass had also fallen into the helmet, causing some of Jason's bleeding. Sub pulled the helmet off of Jason, blood dripping down from the edges.
The Oni stopped to glare at Sub, Who dropped the helmet and pulled himself a few more feet away from the monster. Sub gulped, believing he was next. But the Oni didn't do anything to him. The Oni glanced at the blood on his hands, then flicking it at the wall beside Jason. A two had been made.
The Clock had struck 2.
Sub's eyes widen as the Oni moved. His heart was racing. Sub found himself with his back to the nearest wall, no where else to go. The Oni opened it's mouth to show it's teeth, however made a moan and turned back. It ignored Sub. It and it's purple mist faded away within seconds.
The Oni had let Sub live.
Scream. Scream bloody Mary. That's what he wanted to do. But he couldn't. His eyes drifted back over to Jason. He slowly worked his way back over to Jason. When he did, he pulled Jason into his arms. Sub placed his ear to Jason's chest.
Jason was dead.
Sub's hair covered his eyes as he looked down at his lap. Tears came to his eyes. He gently placed Jason back down on the floor. Sub stood up, not sure what to do now.
Jason had saved Sub's life, but to what cost? One too big for Sub to carry.
"How idiotic, we were." Sub thought, tears running down his face like a baby.
"You said you'd run, but truth was, you were up for the fight and so was I."
