The curtains opened and everyone was watching the scene eagerly. Haruto stepped up he was wearing a large brown colour cloak reached the floor. He cleared his throat as he started. "Once upon a time" He said then suddenly stopped. Katana bit his nails waiting in the backstage.

"Why did he stop?" He asked from Shinki who was standing beside him. Shinki just shrugged.

Haruto looked at the crown again. "Okay my dear audience I know how bored everyone is. Seriously Cinderella is one of the most common dramas everyone knows it don't they? Look" He said suddenly pointing up at a guy in the audience. "He's already yawning. So we thought to give you some amusement today. This is not the typical day to day cinderella story you hear. This is the our version of Cinderella with ups and downs and a hint of comedy. Everyone enjoy the drama Cinderella with a plot twist" The crowd cheered completely faltered by the idea of the new version of Cinderella. Haruto made a quick bow as he excited the stage. He looked at Katana and mouthed. "Thank me later"

Even though the whole audience is buzzing with excitement the actors of the play who thought this was gonna be a normal Cinderella story was shaking in fear. Katana slapped his own forehead. "There's nothing to do Gou , Shu you two are up" 

"Wha-" That's what Shu could say before someone pushed him to the stage. The stage was arranged as a pretty normal garden as in the story. Gou was wearing a full suit and standing near a fake carriage they managed to find. Shu was staring blankly at him not knowing exactly what's going on.

"Hey is that Shu Kurenai" Someone from the crowd yelled. 

"My god he's so pretty I'm completely gay for him" Another person yelled.

Meanwhile Katana and Shinki was holding Lui back before he goes ballistic and punch the whole audience. Back at the stage Shu gulped turning to Gou. 

Gou walked to him. "My dear daughter. Please be careful. Be a good girl" He said hugging Shu tightly.

Shu returned the gesture as he answered. "I'll be a good girl daddy" Then Shu stopped eyes widening a bit. Then he clamped his mouth with both of his hands. "Oh my god that sounds wrong" He blurted out loud enough everyone to hear. Backstage Shinki burst out laughing. Gou chuckled as the whole audience cracked up. Shu's cheeks flushed with bright red as he managed a soft chuckle. They waited for the audience to calm down. Gou starts acting again as he ruffled Shu's hair. 

"What do you want my little princess when I get back?" Gou asked with a fond smile.

"Uhh...." Shu said. "A new.... launcher or something like that?"

Gou chuckled as the audience started to snicker again. "Sure"

The two fell silent again not knowing what to do. This wasn't the drama they practiced this is a whole new thing. Right at the cue Kazuki appeared out of nowhere. His makeup was dark which gave his face a even  more scary look. He looked like a perfect villain. "My love I'll take care of this nuisance I mean daughter" 

Shu scowled looking away. With that Gou left then the stage went dark again and when it light up . Cinderella also known as Shu was sitting near a chimney pretending to be crying. "The prince is holding a grand ball" He said to himself. "Everyone except me is invited what a sad life"

He sighed miserably. He felt a tickling feeling like someone was tickling him. He got up as he felt someone running through his arms. He looked up at his arm to see a..... mouse? 

"It's a mouse" Someone yelled from the audience.

Shu looked at the small white mouse sitting on his palm staring at him. He smiled. "Awwww little guy what're you doing here?"

Kazuki entered the stage. "who are you talk-" He stopped looking at the mouse. Kazuki let out a shriek which exactly sound like a girl. "Put that disgusting thing away" 

Shu smirked. "Scared I see". The mouse jumped away from Shu and start to run toward Kazuki. He let out another high pitched squeal as he started running around the stage the mouse find it amusing as he started to chase him. Shu squeaked as he ran behind the mouse to catch it before Kazuki kill it. By the time the whole stage was a mess. And the audience was a bigger mess. Everyone was rolling over laughing. Some had tears streaking down their face from laughter. After running few rounds Shu became frustrated he changed the course and jumped forward catching the mouse with his hands. 

"Gotcha" Shu yelled laying flat on the stage with a mouse in his hands. He sat down clearly forgetting he was supposed to act. He pet the mouse slowly. "Don't run away that crazy witch will kill you"

"What did you say?" Kazuki growled stomping his feet. 

Shu flashed an innocent smile. "Nothing"

"We're leaving take a good care of the house and put that thing away" Kazuki yelled at him leaving the stage.

"Kill that thing" Someone yelled from the audience mimicking Kazuki.

Shu turned to the audience with a serious face. "No they have animal rights. You would be arrested" 

The scenes slowly flowed perfectly every scene had something to laugh about. The whole drama was strange but everyone was loving it. The nest scene came Shu was again sitting alone as Shinki came out. "My little young one why are you alone?" Shinki sing sang.

Shu got up. "Who are you? Are you like that fairy god mother who run around with a stick?"

"Wow your smart and I'm insulted" Shinki said waving his wand like crazy.

"This is a wand. I can do magic with it" Shinki said.

Shu crossed his arms half closing his eyelids. "Are you talking about turning pumpkins into carriages or like turning mice into butlers or horses wait was it frogs? Whatever are you talking about that wow I'm impressed"

Shinki huffed. "Now tell me who is the fairy god mother me or you?"

"You" Shu said.

"Then for the heavens sake let me do my job or else the fairy council will fire me from my job" Shinki said with a serious expression.

Shu put his hands up in defense. "Geez sorry sorry"

Shinki smirked placing one hand over his hip and clutching the wand from the other. "Why so serious Cinderella let's give you a perfect makeover"

Shu only had the chance to say. "I'm not sure about that" As Shinki dragged him away from the stage.

The scene changed. Lui was dressed as the prince and currently standing in the middle of the stage. Gou was standing beside him. Some of the girls squealed looking at the handsome prince. Lui didn't pay any attention as he turned to Gou. "When is cinderella coming?"

Gou shushed him. "You aren't suppose to know she's coming"

"Yeah yeah whatever" Lui muttered.

"Prince" One of the step daughters came into stage squealing. "Dance with me" 

Lui growled but the other one didn't give him a chance to escape as he dragged him and starts dancing and accidently stepped on his foot. "Ow" Lui yelped clutching his leg. 

The audience started to laugh again as Lui starts yelling. "If you wanna dance with me learn how to dance you freak"

The audience doubled over laughing as Lui starts yelling at the audience. It was impossible to calm him. Even Gou was laughing. Then the lights dimmed and Shu stepped in. The whole audience stopped and stared at Cinderella. Lui's jaw was hanging open. The lights become bright again revealing Shu in a dress. His dress was a mix of red and white. They debated that since Shu's eyes are red rather than blue red would go with him and it certainly did. 

His dress was long enough to cover his feet. It stopped few centimeters over that stage. The dress was sleeveless and a big red ribbon decorated his shoulders. There was three red roses decorating the waist line of his dress. His neck was decorated with a beautiful silver necklace. His hairstyle was rather simple. Two strands of milky white hair was clipped to the back of his head letting all the bangs loose. A silver tiara decorated his hair. Beautiful would be a let down. Shu actually looked stunning in the dress. His blushed cheeks made it stands out even more. The makeup artist was wise enough cause he hadn't messed up his face. Just a light makeup can make him more stunning. The whole audience was just staring at him and Lui on the other side stepped toward Shu. He held out a hand to Shu. "Would you mind a dance my princess?"

Shu chuckled holding his hands. "Of course my young prince"

Lui lead him to the middle of the stage and the music started to flow through the stage. Shu placed a hand on his shoulder as Lui placed his hand on Shu's waist. They started to dance to the rhythm both of them staring right into each other's eyes.  Somehow Gou had managed to make Lui taller than Shu. He was't sure how but still it felt weird dancing with a taller Lui. No one talked the whole audience was staring at the couple in awe. The two moved around the stage in sync. Even Kazuki was staring at the two. It was like everyone was cast in a spell. Few minutes ago the drama was a comedy but now it was a romantic play. The two lovers were staring and holding each other closely. But the moment was broken by a loud ringing. It was twelve a clock. Even though Shu didn't want to leave he jerked back from Lui.

"What's wrong my princess" Lui asked completely coming to the character.

"I have to go" Shu said in a hurry looking at the clock. Then instead of running to the backstage he got down from the stage running across the audience. The chairs were arranged to two sections and there was enough space in the middle to put up his act. Shu held his dress as he started to run. 

"You forgot the Shoe"Someone yelled.

Shu stopped he was right in the middle of the audience everyone was eyeing him he looked confused. "Shu..?" He asked. Then it dawned in him. "Oh the glass slipper" Shu said as he bend down taking off the shoe.

Then he looked at Lui who was watching him from the stage. He held the slipper and yelled. "Here Lui catch" Shu threw the heel toward the stage and it hit fair and square at Lui's face. Lui held his face and fell backward.

Shu pumped his fists. "Yess head shot". He waited Lui to get up but he didn't. "Oh my god" Shu said. "Did I kill him?"

The audience started to snicker again as Shu looked at them. "Did I kill him?"

"Probably" One from the audience answered.

Shu started to run toward the stage again. Then he tripped on the other high heel and almost fell down but steadied himself in the last second. "Seriously" He said. "These stuff should be illegal" He said running again.

He walked up and sat down beside Lui lightly shaking him. Lui suddenly got up making Shu fell down shrieking. Shu stared at him like he just saw a ghost. He was clutching his chest. "You gave me a heart attack"

"Now you're going to die from blood loss cause I'm killing you" Lui said baring his teeth.

"My goodness guys this is a fairy tale and supposed to be a kid's story" Gou chimed in.

"But still I'm killing him" Lui said launching himself toward Shu who was still on the ground.

Gou stopped him. "You aren't killing my daughter" 

Shu got up as he cheered. "Go dad you can do it kill that prince and take the throne"

Gou gave him a are you serious look. Lui took this chance as his opening and ran to Shu. Shu yelped as he ran away from him and it was hard to run with one high heel cause you can trip and fall. That's what exactly happened. Shu tripped on his heel and started to fall he closed his eyes waiting for the painful impact but at the last second two strong arms wrapped around his waist he opened his eyes to stare at the violet eyes. Lui stared right into his eyes. The he started closing the gap between them. Shu could feel Lui's warm breath against his skin. The whole audience was holding their breath. And their lips collided. Shu melted into the kiss throwing his arms around his neck. Lui pulled him closer tightening the grip around his waist. They pulled away and Lui helped Shu to stand up straight. The audience suddenly started to applause some even whistled. 

Lui took the heel and bend knelt before Shu. Shu slowly extended his pale foot as Lui put on the slipper. Then he took Shu's hand and pressed a kiss. "Be my Cinderella" lui said looking at Shu.

Shu bend down leaning toward Lui  and placed a soft peck. "Of course my prince I'll forever be yours"

"Their words were directed to each other. It was there promise to stay with each other forever" Haruto said appearing out of nowhere.

Kazuki stomped in ruining the moment. "What the hell is going on here?"

Katana jumped to the stage. "Kazuki don't ruin the moment"

Shinki came in waving his wand. "Or else I'll make you a frog"

Haruto looked at the audience. "Don't worry guys it's a part of the drama"

"Woof" 

Everyone snapped their heads to the direction as a dog came running to the stage. 

"What the "Lui started. "Is this a freaking zoo?"

The dog ran toward Shu and jumped to him making him fall backwards. It started to lick his face all over. Shu chuckled and broke into laughter. Lui watched the scene with a soft smile. "The dog will die from your makeup" Shinki said.

Lui held out his hand to Shu. Shu was about to take it when the dog suddenly barked at Lui standing in front of Shu. 

"Oooh Lui got competition" Katana snickered as the audience loose it again. Lui and the dog was glaring at each other. Shu was looking between them.

"He" Lui said pointing at Shu. "Is mine"

The dog barked baring his teeth in response. 

"Wanna fight you looser" Lui yelled as he walked straight toward Shu picking him up. Shu squeaked in surprise as he automatically wrapped his arms around Lui's neck. Then he pressed a kiss on Shu's forehead.  He looked at the dog with a smirk holding Shu bridal style.

A girl came running to the stage. "Sorry he's from our drama he jumped out" She said taking the dog away.

"Sorry dogie Shu is taken" Shinki said giving the dog a slight pat. 

The dog whined looking at Shu. "Aww I'll meet you later okay?" 

Lui looked at the red eyed blader on his arms. "No you aren't"

"Who wants jelly?" Haruto yelled cracking up again.

"Okay Lui put me down let's end this drama" Shu said

"Nuh huh" Lui shook his head.

"Lui pleeease" Shu said giving him puppy eyes.

Lui sighed placing him down. Everyone stood in a straight line and bowed. "The end" Haruto said.

The whole crowd jumped up into their feet clapping and cheering loudly. The whole area was filled with cheers. Shu looked at the audience and winked. "You guys are the best audience please vote our drama if you guys enjoed it" Shu said blowing a kiss and winking again.

The crowd grew wild. Everyone had to close their ears to escape from the loud cheering. The curtains closed and they walked backstage. "What happened to my drama?" Katana asked.

"Man that was a wild ride" Shinki said.

"One of the best dramas" Gou agreed.

"I can't believe you two kissed" Haruto said.

"Shu you look stunning" Katana said.

"Thanks" Shu said smiling "but this thing is itchy I'm gonna change it"

"No" Everyone chorused as Shu stopped.

"What the..." Shu said.

"Wait till the end of the award ceremony" Lui said.

"But" Shu started as Lui took a step closer looking to his eyes. "Please"

"Okay no one is gonna change their costume then" Shu said crossing his arms.

"Okay deal" Katana said.

"Easy for you to say cause you aren't wearing a dress" Shinki pointed out.

"Let's go find some seats and enjoy the rest of the dramas" Gou said looking at his friends. 

Katana held out a hand to Shinki. Join me my lady"

Shinki huffed. "You cheeky brat" He said taking his hand. 

Lui looked at Shu in silence and slipped his hands into the red eyed blader's hand. Shu smiled as they headed toward the audience.

Phew it took longer than I expected. And I'm not sure it turned out good though. But hope you all like it. Next chapter will also be about the play the awards and stuff.
