From the start Lui knew something special gonna happen today.He said goodbye to his parents as he headed to the road to walk to school. The surrounding was quiet and peaceful like any other day. Lui always loved silence and one of many reasons he hates Valt who yell always running around. He doesn't even understand how the hell Shu bare all that sound considering the fact that the two friends were always together. His train of thoughts were broken by the chattering sound. He stepped inside the school premises and headed toward his locker. He didn't bother to find Shu cause he knows that Shu doesn't come this early cause he live pretty far from the school. He met up with Gou who gave him a bright smile and greeted him.

"Good Morning Lui"

Lui just nodded in return doesn't even bothering to greet back but from the single nod Gou understands that Lui is greeting him back. Just like Shu and Valt Gou and Lui was also pretty good friends. "It's good I met you" Gou said taking the attention of the violet eyed blader.

Lui looked at him with his normal blank face. "Yeah?" He said raising an eyebrow.

"The team tournaments are starting and since Kyo is not gonna participate we need one new member"

"So?" Lui asked still doesn't understanding why he was telling this to him cause Lui never like to be in teams.

"I was wondering if you wanna come to the selecting of the players and I'm gonna tell Shu to try too" said Gou as Lui looked at him with interest when he told about Shu.

"Shu is talented so why not choose him already?" Lui asked.

"I would like to but I don't think the other players think it's fair they'll think we chose him because of you two are in a relationship" explained Gou.

"Bullshit" Lui cursed. "All of them should know that Shu Kurenai is in the supreme four for a reason. Those F-" He couldn't finish his sentence cause two hands closed his mouth before he curse.

"No no" A familiar voice said. " No cursing for kids"

Gou let out a muffled laugh as Lui slapped the pale hands and turned toward the albino blader who was smiling sheepishly. "I'm not a kid dammit" said Lui scowling.

"I was just saying" Shu said chuckling.

Lui couldn't keep scowling as he saw the smiling face of the albino blader. A smile crept his face instantly. "Why are you late today?"

"not my fault" Shu said pressing his back against the locker. "The bus was late and I had to wait till it come"

Gou smiled. "That sounds boring"

Shu nodded. "Yeah it was"

Lui huffed in silence as Gou talked again. "So, Shu I was wondering whether you wanna join our club?"

"Who? Me?" Shu asked in confusion.

"Yeah what's wrong? You don't like it" said Gou observing the confused face of the albino blader.

"No, it's just I'm surprised I guess" Shu said as he glanced at Lui from the corner of his eyes.

"Don't look at me like that" Lui deadpanned.

"If you wanna join come to the Beyblade room after lunch the matches will be held there today. And I really hope you will come Shu"

"He's coming" Lui said answering instead of Shu.

The other two looked at him. "Excuse me? Since when you take my decision for me"

Lui just gave him an indifferent look as Shu sighed. "Fine fine I will"

Lui gave him a winning smirk as they said goodbye to Gou and headed toward the class. The time flew by and Shu didn't saw any of his friends in lunch. He just shrugged it away cause he knew they would be working hard to make today's event a success. So Shu bought some food from the school cafeteria and walked to the stadiums in order to find the other four. As he expected Gou, Shinki, Katana and Lui was there going through some papers and Lui looked completely pissed cause he had to help them as a member of the team and the other three looked worn out from either the work or the complains of Lui maybe both. The didn't even realize that Shu entered the room until he cleared his throat. All four of them looked up at Shu.

"Since you guys missed the lunch I thought-" Shu started but couldn't finish his sentence as Shinki jumped out from the chair snatching a sandwich from his hand.

"Thank god Shu you're an angel" Shinki said shoving down the sandwich and taking another one.

"Man Lui I'm jealous that you got a perfect boyfriend" Katana said taking one as well.

Shu just smiled as Gou also took one saying. "Don't be Katana, Shinki can also be a perfect boyfriend"

Shinki chocked his food as Katana looked away. "What the hell Gou you wanna kill him?" Lui said doesn't even bothering to take off his eyes from the paper.

Shinki started yelling at Gou with a perfect curse language as Katana burst out laughing. Shu observed the three for few minutes as he walked to Lui. "Here I brought you food too"

Lui hummed in reply but doesn't answer. Shu frowned as he took a piece of sandwich and held it in front of Lui's mouth. Lui teared his eyes away from the paper and looked at Shu then opened his mouth letting Shu feed him. "Don't bite my hand it'll surely hurt" said Shu in a small voice.

Lui snorted as he leaned down and whispered down to his ear. "I can give you love bites if you want"

Shu's hand freeze in the mid air as his eyes widen in horror. He blinked once and twice before turning completely red as his eyes. His mind was going haywire as he looked at Lui again. "You don't say things like that our friends are here" He whisper yelled looking at the still fighting three.

"Don't mind and don't care" Lui said again tilting his head.

Shu scowled. "Why did I even try to make up your perverted mind"

"Stop calling me a pervert people might get the wrong idea" Lui exclaimed as Shu smirk.

"Since when do you started thinking about what others say about you?" 

Lui couldn't give him an answer as one by one students started to come in and most of the club members was there to participate the tournament. Most of the students of the school was there to watch the battle. And as soon as they saw Shu and Lui together they started whispering things. Most of the students were there to the message of Shu Kurenai is battling and Kazuki also wanted a place badly in the team and these past days he had grown strange feelings toward a certain person and now he was questioning that those feelings were not only friendship.

After everyone gathered to the room Gou cleared his throat as he took everyone's attention. By now all the bladers who were battling was standing on a line. Gou turned to them as he started to talk. "Welcome to the tournament I'm glad each of you decided to participate in the battles to fight for a place in the team. The judges will be the same as past years The beyblade coach me and the champion of Japan Lui Shirasagi would be the judges maybe as some of the past years our principal who is also a beyblade prodigy will come to see the matches but I'm not sure whether he'll come or not. That's all hope you all do good and show us good sportsmanship throughout the battles. Good Luck" 

As soon as the speech got finished the crowd started to murmur specially looking at Shu and Lui and one blader came forward about ask something as Lui got up. They all fell into hushed silent. Everyone knew the power of the violet eyed blader. "I'm not judging this year cause I can see from your f-" He stopped looking at the coach and stopped then continued. "faces that you think I'll support Shu and for all of your information even If I could support him I wouldn't cause I know he'll get pissed and try to eat my head. Anyway I can't be a judge when you all have doubts so I'm out" Everyone stared at him in awe as Lui smirked. "Since I'm not a judge I can say this Shu is gonna win you all got no chance" with that he left to the audience to sit with Shinki and Katana.

Shu scowled giving Lui a look that said what you just told about me is not good and Lui being Lui completely ignored the looks as he stared right ahead at Kazuki who was talking with the coach, in surface it looked like he was taking advises but Lui knew he was exactly up to something and he looked at his own boyfriend who had that serious look on his face whenever he's gonna battle. Lui thought Shu looks cute trying to pull of that serious face. Shu looked at his side and gave him a small reassuring smile with a nod which Lui returned.

The first few battles were pretty dull and uninteresting and Shu won all his from one single hit. Most of the students have recognized his true power cause so far in the tournament Shu's the only one who didn't loose a single point. On the other side Kazuki was doing a pretty good job too but compared to Shu he is not that talented and everyone was sure that as Lui predicted there is a huge chance that Shu's gonna take the place of the team. But of course Kazuki had other plans in his mind.

At last they came down to the final two battles and Shu won his one with not much of a hard time and Kazuki had to gave off a fight and he really gave a pretty good fight at last the two of them was selected to the finals. "Wow Shu is really a legend" Katana said leaning down from his seat.

"Yep and the final is gonna epic. I wanna see Kazuki's face when he lost" said Shinki smiling.

"We can't still say that" Lui said 

"But you're the one who said Shu's gonna win in the first place" Shinki said looking at the dragon blader.

Lui huffed in annoyance but didn't say anything in return. 

The two bladers were given a break of few minutes. Shu returned to the waiting room and took out a water bottle placed on the table beside him. He didn't thought much of that as he uncapped the bottle and drank. He took the bottle away and placed it on the table grabbing his launcher and bey walking outside but he didn't notice the person who had a smirk watching Shu drink the water.

Shu and Kazuki walked outside of their waiting rooms and stood in the each sides of the stadiums. Kazuki smirked at the albino blader. "Today is the day I'm gonna crush you into pieces" He said placing his bey Crashing Magnus.

Shu didn't say anything in return as he loaded his launcher. A sudden dizzy feeling started to take over. Shu shook his head lightly to shake away the rising pain in his head. Both bladers took their positions and launched their beys. The two beys flew into the stadium as Spryzen took the center as Crashing Magnus spun toward Spryzen and the two beys clashed and in no time Magnus was in three pieces. 

"Two points to storm spryzen" The refree called as Shu took his bey back loading his launcher.

Kazuki didn't seem sad or angry which surprised most of them he just kept his eyes trained on Shu waiting something to happen. By each passing second the pain in his head grew worse and his vision started to become blurry and sweat trickled down his forehead he felt like the whole world is turning upside down and dangerously spinning around him. Shu tried to steady his shaking hands getting ready to launch. "What's wrong with me? I was perfectly fine few moments ago" He thought squeezing his eyes shut and opening them again. He couldn't hear a single thing around he focused on Kazuki who was already in his position and Shu took his position stressing the thumbs of his feet to keep his conciousness. And the two launched their beys. Most of them gasped in surprise seeing Spryzen's wobbly movements it was a far cry from being a powerful move even without a hit from Magnus it just stopped right in the middle of the stadium. 

"One point for Crashing Magnus" The refree called the murmur started again. This time louder than before. Shu just wanted to yell them to shut up. The sound was too painful to bare and it was buzzing inside his ears and from all his experience he knew if wanted to win this battle he have to pull himself together. He looked at the refree. "I-I need a t-timeout" He croaked out. Shu flinched at how his own voice sound so hoarse and scratchy. The refree nodded approving it but a voice yelled. "Stop" 

Shu looked that way to see their beyblade coach who was standing and currently walking to them. "You can't give away timeouts like that do you have a good reasoning to it Mr. Kurenai?" He mocked.

"Yeah feel like I'm dying" Shu thought bitterly but instead said. "I just needed to drink some water?"

"You can do that after the matches" The coach growled he was blocking the view of Kazuki smirking behind him. If Shu saw Kazuki's face he would've quickly realized whose behind all this plans.

Up in the audience Lui clenched hie fists tightly as he shifted uneasily on his seat. "What the heck is going on?"

"Shu looks like he's gonna pass out" Shinki said looking at Shu's pale face which was drenched with sweat. "But he was fine all day what happened so suddenly?"

"And why aren't they giving him a timeout he obviously need one right now" Katana said in a frustrated tone.

Gou knew something fishy was going on. He stood up and walked to the scene. "Sir sorry to interrupt but I think Shu really need a timeout"

Shu blinked few times moving his hand to his temple and pressing it tightly as he muttered. "Yes please"

"Are you telling me that I'm doing something wrong are you accusing me?" The coach snapped.

Gou was about to tell something when Shu's faint voice stopped him. "Gou I'm fine, Don't need a timeout"

"But Shu-" 

Shu waved his hand in front of his face signalling he's fine. Lui stood up from the stadium and was about to yell when Shinki stopped him. "No don't do that Shu's trying hard to regain his composure if you yelled at the coach it'll break his focus. He's trying hard Lui" 

Lui let out a growl. "Idiot never think of his health just thinking how to win even if it kills him" 

Everyone was in the edge of their seats as the two bladers took their positions. Everyone could see that Shu was not in a good conditions. His shaking hands gripped the launcher tightly. His skin was ghostly pale and drenched with sweat. But his piercing red eyed remained the same the same determination was perfectly reflected through his red orbs. In seconds everyone realize why he was one of the top bladers. He give it his all and everything.

3 2 1 let it Rip 

After the countdown the two beys were already inside the bey stadium. Spryzen's movements were not powerful as it used to it was still wobbly but this launch was better than the other Kazuki took this chance as he yelled. "Crashing Magnus counter crash" The brown colour bey glistened with power as it charged toward Spryzen and the two beys clashed together and both of them almost at the same moment flew out from the stadium and first Magnus hit the floor and just after a second Spryzen hit the floor. 

The slightest gap of time was almost impossible to notice specially in his current state Shu didn't notice it at all and most of the students who was watching the battle was also confused everyone has the same expression who won? The refree looked between the two bladers as he turned to Kazuki. "One point to Crash-"

But in the audience Lui got up. "No wait Magnus hit the ground first" He said as every one turned to him. "What?" Katana asked.

"Yes I saw it Spryzen is the winner" Lui said in a frustrated tone. Something is going on Lui was sure now. A huge plan was going on against Shu but the luck wasn't in there side specially since the person noticed the real thing is Lui and almost everyone of the school knew those two were together.

"Do you have any proof?" The coach asked bluntly giving Lui a bored look.

"I just saw it from my own eyes what else evidence do I need?" Lui asked getting more and more frustrated in each seconds.

"That's not evidence Mr. Shirasagi" The coach said. "And you're not a judge you can't do anything about this the refree is the person who calls the match if he's saying that Kazuki owned a point that's the final"

Everyone was silence as they looked forth between Lui and the coach most of them thought their coach was right cause Lui would always support for Shu but some of them thought Lui was right cause Shu Kurenai is a beyblade legend.

After few seconds which felt like an eternity Lui talked. "If you people are playing dirty like this I'm not gonna participate in the tournament as a member if this team" He continued. "I should be proud of my team to represent it but if you choose members like this playing dirty and cheating I'm not participating this year's team games you can do it for yourselves. Everyone onel think about who won and all of you missed one certain point. Shu was perfectly fine from the morning and how the hell did he got sick in a matter of seconds? Anyone have answers?" Lui said looking at Shu who was watching him.

Shu saw Lui standing and saying something and everyone seem to have taken their eyes to him. He couldn't make out a single word he just kept looking at Lui whose seem to be saying something important he wanted to listen for what he was saying but the buzzing in his ears makes it hard to do so.

From the other side of the stadium Kazuki looked at Shu who looked like he was near death. His mind flew toward the incident before.

Flashback

Kazuki looked at the man taking the bottle of pills from his hand. "So will they work?"

The man nodded giving him a toothy grin. "Of course sir these pills can do many things"

Kazuki frowned. "I don't wanna kill him just make him hard to focus so I can win this battle"

"Yes sir the effect will show after five minutes he drank them. First he'll start to feel dizzy then slowly a severe headache would take place and there are many other effects like buzzing of the ears, sweating all over and at the climax it would be hard to breath for him it won't kill him of course just feel like a near death experience and the pain will start to fade away after three or four hours but he would have to suffer from a fever for few more days and it works like a drug sometimes depend on the person though"

Kazuki grinned at him handing the man a suitcase filled with money. "This is better thank you and this is the amount of money I promised now get lost never come in front of my eyes"

The man grinned again tossing his head to the side and giving out a maniac laugh. "See ya sir"

End of the flashback.

Kazuki grinned at the memory as he watched Shu again waiting for the climax and to enjoy the show. He was sure that he won he didn't thought Shu won even in the slightest. Up in the audience after Lui said that he's not taking part of the team he turned around getting down to reach Shu and leave but suddenly their principal stepped in to the stadium.  Everyone sat down straight. Most of the students knew that the principal won't step in unless it's a serious matter and of course this issue seem to be serious than everyone thought. Specially if Lui Shirasagi is willing to walk away from the team complaining Kazuki is playing dirty.

Their coach straighten up plastering a smile across his face. "It's a great honor to see you here sir." He said walking to the Principal. Principal Yamada gave him a curt nod turning to the two bladers. Kazuki had a big smile on his face and Shu's face was blank and he looked like he's about to pass out right there right at the  moment. Lui walked to the scene too and stood up beside Shu his eyes never leaving the fragile figure of the albino blader. Gou stood beside Lui as Shinki and Katana also walked to them. They were all waiting till Mr. Yamada explain why he's here.

"I watched the match" He said in his low husky voice. "it's pretty impressive" He said turning to Shu who was tilting his head to the side trying to listen.

"And I saw who the exact winner is" He said looking at the coach. "May I ?" The principal asked as the coach understood.

"Certainly sir you got the power to announce the correct winner we don't need cheaters to win anyway" He said glancing at Shu from the corner of his eyes.

"Sure" He said turning to Lui. "You said you saw Magnus hitting the ground first?"

Lui nodded his head.

"Anyone here saw Spryzen hitting the ground first?" He asked looking around the audience. Everyone shifted in their seats none of them saw Spryzen hitting the ground first they only guessed it cause the referee said so and in this situation even the referee was silent. "Okay you have another evidence Lui, I saw Magnus hitting the ground first"

Kazuki's  jaw dropped as he stared at the Principal. There was no way he could loose after all this hard work for his plan. It took days for him to find the correct drugs and he spent millions of money to do so. "It can't be true" He blurted out.

"Any evidence Kazuki?" The Principal asked as Kazuki shut his mouth instantly not wanting to argue anymore.

He looked around the stadium and saw the doubtful faces of the students then he looked at one of the teachers and nodded. "Turn on the cameras let's see"

"Cameras?" Gou asked.

"Yes this year I thought of applying cameras around the room and I was here to inform you about that today but you looked busy" Principal Yamada said as the teacher brought out the correct videos and put them on and everyone's eyes were trained on the video and at the place the two beys hit the ground the video was paused and Magnus was already touching the ground while Spryzen was still not.

And Principal Yamada looked at the referee as he called the game. "Storm Spryzen wins the match with three to one"

The crowd broke into a cheer and Lui looked at Shu who was just staring blankly at the cheering audience he looked at Lui with a confused face. 

"You won" Lui said intervening their fingers together.

Shu tilted his head confused as he talked. "C-cant hear y-you my e-ears are r-ringing"

Lui pressed the back of his hand against the albino's forehead. "Shu you're burning"

That's when the thing Kazuki was waiting happened. Shu felt his chest tightening and it felt like impossible to breath. He moved his hand and grasped his shirt clenching his other hand falling to his knees. Lui looked alarmed as he crouched down beside him. "Shu, Shu what's wrong talk to me"

Shu shook his head gasping out breaths. "C-cant b-breathe" He choked.

Principal Yamada quickly called the nurse of the school  and instructed the four boys to take him to the school infirmary as Gou placed a hand on Shu's back. Shinki and Katana was also by his side the whole time. Lui was the most shaken among them all and the nurse came in rushing  in she instructed all of them to stay back as she check up on Shu. She frowned for a moment and took out an injection and injecting the liquid after few seconds Shu collapsed right into Lui's arms as Lui held the beast blader close to his chest. "No need to worry" She said looking at the concerned group of students and the Principal. "And this is quite odd he's drugged by some kind of a strong pill. Do you guys know something he ate before the match?"

"What?" Lui yelled. "Drugged? But How?" 

"Lui calm down" Gou said as he turned to the nurse. "I saw him drinking a water bottle just before the match"

"Can you bring it to me?" She asked as Gou nodded getting up leaving.

Kazuki looked ghostly pale like he was the one whose not feeling well if they found out he's doomed. But no one knew who the person gave him the drug it wasn't like anyone saw him either. He relaxed a bit thinking that they at least don't know who the person drugged him.

Gou returned with the water bottle as the nurse took it. "I'll test it for now he'll be okay I'll give you some medicine and you can take him home he might get a fever after all this just remember these kind of pills have some side effects never leave him alone"

The four boys nodded in understanding as Gou picked up Shu "let's all head to Shu's place and think what we can do"

Everyone nodded in agreement as Lui kept his hand on Shu's watching his boyfriend's fragile figure. They all arrived at the apartment of Shu. Gou gently placed the albino blader on his bed and took off his shoes. Lui sat down beside him running a hand through his snowy white hair he smile when Shu unconsciously leaned to the touch nuzzling his face on Lui's warm hands.

Gou talked. "Lui wait up here with him I'll call Valt and the beyclub they'll bring us the medicine and you two can cook right?"

Shinki nodded. "Not greatly like Shu or Lui does but I can"

They parted their ways to do their jobs as they decided. Shinki and Katana was inside the kitchen cooking as Gou waited by the door till the beyclub arrived. Lui was staring at Shu's pale face as he once in a while wiped his face with a cold cloth. The door bell rang and Gou opened the door revealing a concerned beyclub. 

"Where is he?" Valt asked almost instantly as Gou pointed at Shu's room. Wakiya handed the medicine as he followed with the rest of the beyclub. Lui turned his head to see Valt with a concerned face. His eyes were almost glistening with tears as he observed the unconscious body of the red eyed blader. 

"Such a baby" Lui thought but instead he said. "He's fine"

Valt looked at Lui with a surprised expression as Honcho talked behind him. "What happened?"

"Some idiot drugged him" Lui hissed in a low voice afraid he'll wake Shu up.

"What?" Valt yelled as others looked at him with crossed looks. He smiled sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head. "Sorry"He said in a low voice as he repeated his words. "What?"

"Yes" Katana said. Then he told the whole story to the beyclub. "And he'll suffer from fever that's what the nurse said"

"Oh a fever" Valt said thoughtfully.

"Something wrong Valt?" Daigo asked as the others looked at him.

"The thing is Shu can be get quite clingy and childish when he's on a fever" He said.

"Man I know I shouldn't say these things while he was in a damn fever but things might get interesting" Wakiya talked.

Lui just stared at the albino blader. "Childish and clingy huh?" He thought in silence as he watched the others went to the living room giving them space.

Truthfully I think this chapter is not good yeah, it's long I know but still I feel like it's boring and plain. Anyway here a new chapter if you like it leave a vote and a comment. Cya ^^
