Lui ran up to Shu. A thin strip of blood leaking from his head. The driver quickly got off his car and came to check on the boy who was painfully still. "Shu" Lui whispered. Then he looked at the beyclub staring with shocked faces. 

"Call a freaking ambulance" He yelled at them. 

Wakiya fidget with his phone. His fingers shaking as he dial the emergency number. Valt ran to Shu and knelt beside the albino. "Shu" He cried. "Shu wake up"

Shu was completely still but thankfully Lui could feel the weak pulse of the albino.He kept his silence. The sirens rang loud and the ambulance arrived. They took Shu in as one of the medics said. "One of you can come with him"

Lui didn't talk. After all he had done he didn't know if Shu would even forgive him for everything. Daigo walked to him. "Lui you should go" Lui turned to him and gave him an are you serious look. 

Wakiya voiced his thoughts. "Are you serious?"

Daigo nodded. "It would be for the best. Now go"

Lui thanked him silently as he hopped in. Even though he had his own doubts he wanted to stay with Shu. Losing himself would be liked losing his whole world for him. The medics worked quickly. They placed an oxygen mask and tried to limit the blood loss. Lui took the icy cold hand of the albino. He kissed it slightly. His eyes brimmed with tears threatening to fall at any second. After few more minutes they were at the hospital. Lui watched as the medics took Shu to the surgery room. Doctors rushed inside and before anything could be ask the doors closed leaving Lui outside waiting alone.

Few minutes passed which felt like an eternity. "Lui" A voice called Lui turned to see the beyclub the rideout and even the swoedflames alongside with Zac was there. 

"What happened?" Xander asked reaching him.

"They took him in" Lui said trying to keep his trembling arms still. Gou approached him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"He'll be alright Lui. Don't worry"

Lui nodded leaning against the wall closing his eyes. Valt was already crying after few seconds his mom came in with the twins. Then came the Shirasagi family. Mrs. Shirasagi walked to Lui. "Mom" Lui said hugging her tightly. Toko and Nika sat together with Lucy and Liya. Hours passed. Everyone waited none of them dared to leave. Shu was a special part of everyone's life. He was there for each of them in their hardest times. 

Finally the room door opened. Everyone gathered around to as the doctor came out from the door. "How's he?" Honcho asked hurriedly.

"He'll be fine. But his body is not stable. He did took a bad hit. Currently he's in an unconscious state. It wont last for long so don't worry. He'll be allowed visitors by tomorrow"

They all watched as the doctor walked away. Lui pressed his head to the nearby wall. Wishing all of this to be a one cruel nightmare. Lui didn't move from his spot. He refused to eat he just stared at the space thinking about the albino. Shu's parents came in a hurry. "Where is he?" His mom asked.

The hours dragged along. It was a long day Lui felt. Xander also came in with Zac but all of them had to wait. Next day a nurse came to them telling them that they can go inside and that Shu is awake. All of them walked in. Lui watched the albino. He didn't notice them coming in. He stared outside of the window. The golden sun rays coming through the window made his hair gleamed. A white bandage was wrapped across his forehead. "Shu" His mom called running to him enveloping him inside a loving hug. 

"Mom" Shu said with a chuckle. "I'm fine"

She ruffled his hair. "You scared me Shu"

"Sorry" Shu said with a smile as his dad came to him hugging him. Then Shu turned to them. His red eyes wondering through each of them. Lui's heart skip a beat. Violet met red. Shu stared at him for few seconds and slightly frowned. Then he turned to his parents. "Mom" He called still looking at Lui. He tilted his head slightly. "Who is that? I don't recall his face"

A shocked silence filled the room as Shu spoke these words. Lui unconsciously took a step back. "Not good" Shu's dad muttered rubbing his temples. "Shu" He called taking the youngers attention to him. "Do you remember the others?"

Shu raised his brow. "I remember all of them. That's Xander, Valt, Wakiya, Honcho, Zac..." He said naming every one of them at a time.

He stopped when it came to Lui. He closed his eyes as if trying to recall it but shook his head. "Nope don't know. Should I know him?" Shu asked turning to his parents.

Lui blinked out his tears. It was like their destiny was playing with their hearts. It was like a cruel joke of his fate. Shu remember everyone, every single one but not just him.  "Hey" Shu's voice brought him to reality. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Lui smiled. "Shouldn't I ask you that?"

Shu smiled. "Yeah you should. But I feel guilty for not remembering you. Judging from their faces you seem to be an important person in my life?"

Lui looked around the room everyone was silently watching them. He took a deep breath. "Don't worry about it. We're just friends"

"Oh" Shu said. Then he smiled. "Okie then. I'll remember you now. Wait your name?"

"Lui" Lui said. "And... I have somewhere to go now. Take care" Lui turned on his heel and left the room. None of them followed him cause they knew he needed a little time for his own. To figure out what's exactly going on. Lui stuffed his hands inside his pockets as he wondered aimlessly at the roads. Maybe he deserves all this. Maybe this is his punishment to hurting Shu like that. For breaking his heart. Now he doesn't even remember him. It was like the whole fate is playing with his heart and life.

Lui had unconsciously walked toward the beach. He stared at the horizon still bright cause it was only the afternoon. The whole surrounding looked peaceful except for his heart which was storming. Few days passed. Lui didn't dare to get out of his house except for training and going to school. He heard from Gou that Shu had gone home and doing fine. Part of him felt happy for Shu. Lui felt like he's a complete monster. Shu deserves better than him and all he did was hurt him from the start. Part of him felt devastated from the lose of the presence of the albino who always stood by his side. 

He avoided talking much and went to his usual self. The person he used to be when Shu came and changed him for good. And with no Shu in his life he didn't see a reason to be happy anymore. He walked to the school with his headphones on without caring  whatever going on around him. He reached the entrance of the school he took a lazy look around when his eyes stopped at a albino. Shu had finally came back. He was nervously looking around like it was his first day at school. After few seconds he noticed Lui staring at him. His lips curled into a smile. 

"Hey" He said walking to him. It was only a friendly smile not the signature smile Shu used to give him, only him.

"Hey" Lui responded. 

"I'm glad to see a familiar face. I found out that I don't remember much about this school either and all the kids are looking at me funny" Shu complained slightly pouting.

Lui blinked looking around to see students whispering about them. Shu shifted uneasily. Lui sent a glare to the students around them. "Now, everyone what the hell you all looking at?" The students gave up and quickly walked away.

Lui turned around back to see Shu looking at him with wide eyed and mouth slightly parted. "You do it like that?" He asked tilting his head.

Lui nodded. "Like that"

Lui walked away. Shu yelled behind him. "Wait for me"

Lui kept walking as Shu ran to catch up with him. They were walking side by side, Lui was still listening to music when Shu started to talk. "You are cool. Are you like the bad guy type? I mean you said we are friends after all. So did you always save me and stuff?"

Lui stopped and took off one of his earphones. "Shut up, you're starting to get annoying"

Shu huffed crossing his arms. "Don't be so rude"

"Shu" A voice called. Lui turned back with Shu to see Shinki Katana and Gou walking to them. Shu smiled beside him. 

"Hey guys"

Lui winced. Right, he remember all of them. Not him just not him. He turned and walked away to his first class. He couldn't bare this pain anymore. Not just now he needed sometime to think. Shu tilted his head curiously. "What's wrong with him" Shu muttered to himself. 

The day went pretty quickly. In the lunch time Shu walked to the rooftop of the school trying to get some fresh air when he saw Kazuki standing there with his gang. He smirked when he saw Shu. "Well... well... Knew you would come Kurenai"

Shu raised his brow. "What do you want Kazuki?"

"Oh" He said smiling. "Glad you remember me but not him" Shu said looking down. Shu followed his gaze to see Lui laying down on a bench with his eyes closed. 

"What do you mean?" Shu asked in pure confusion as Kazuki took a step toward him and leaned down their noses almost touching.

"You'll figure out" He said turning around and walking away. 

Shu sighed. "What's wrong with everyone". He looked at Lui again and smiled. "Maybe" He said out loud to himself. "I should hang out with him"

Shu jumped down the stairs and reached Lui. "Hello flame hair" Shu said with a chuckle. Lui's eyes snapped open he stared at the albino. 

"What?" Shu asked.

"What did you just say?" Lui asked sitting down.

"Sorry" Shu said waving his hands. "I didn't want to offend you or something. It just came out of nowhere. Don't hate me for that"

"What do you want?" Lui asked.

"Wanna go out with me?" Shu suddenly asked. Lui looked at him with wide eyes. Shu's cheeks grew red. "I-I didn't mean like that that came out wrong, not like a date, like a friend hanging out?"

Lui smiled slightly. He took his bag turning to Shu. "Where to?"

Shu shrugged. "To the beach"

The two walked in silence. None of them talked. It felt awkward Shu puffed his cheeks looking around thinking of what to say when he saw a girl winking at him. Shu huffed slightly clearly uncomfortable. Lui smirked. "Seems like you are popular"

Shu sighed. "I don't like it when they do that. Flirting all over me. Not like I'm interested in girls at all after all"

"You just said that you're gay" Lui commented stepping to the beach. 

Shu squeaked. "I mean... uh... did I?"

Lui sat down staring at the space as Shu followed his actions. Lui turned to the flustered albino. "You get flustered over such little things you know"

Shu drew his knees to his chest wrapping his arms around them and placing his chin over it. "I know. My mom and dad always say that. It had become a habit by now"

"Do you like the beach?" 

Shu turned to him with a smile. "Yep one of my favourite places in the world. Can I ask you something?"

Lui raised his brow. "Yeah"

"Why do you look so sad? I don't know how to say it. But there's this pain in your eyes. I can't really put that into words"

"I hurt someone so special to me"

Shu stopped and looked at the other who had a longing look. "Special to you?"

"Yeah. He was so special to me."

"He..." Shu muttered.

"I'm gay too if you're asking that"

Shu blinked. "N-No that's n-n-not" Shu closed his eyes taking a deep breath. "Want to talk about it?"

Lui stared right ahead. "He trusted me a lot and I broke hie trust. I said some mean things to him and I-I just betrayed him just because someone told me somethings about him. I-I mistrust my own boyfriend"

Shu didn't talk for few seconds. "You can always go an talk to him. If  he really loves you he'll forgive you. If he doesn't you should walk away I think you deserve someone better than him"

"But I hurt him a lot. It's fair that he hates me now"

"No. All of us are humans Lui. We all make mistakes. True love means to forgiving. Understanding each other. I'm telling this as your friend. Talk to him, he'll understand"

Lui stared at Shu. "If something like that happen to you, would you forgive?"

Shu smiled tilting his head. "Of course I will"

"Come on let's go it's getting late" Lui said getting up. It was funny to see Shu giving him advise. Shu was the one who got hurt after all this drama and he's telling Lui if he didn't forgive that he doesn't deserve Lui. Lui thought it the other way around. That Shu deserves more than him. 

"You are making a funny face" Shu commented.

Lui blinked snapping back to reality. "I'm going home. See you tomorrow at the nationals"

Shu nodded as he waved at the boy. He walked silently to his apartment. His mom and dad was still home with him. "I'm home" He said entering the house. 

"Go and take a wash sweety, I'll prepare the lunch" His mom called from the kitchen. 

Shu walked to his room and closed the door behind him. He pulled out his laptop and entered to the beyblade news channel and typed Lui Shirasagi

The first thing that caught his mind was the picture of him and Lui holding hands and facing the camera. There was a slight blush on his face. Lui was pecking his cheek. Shu frowned as he clicked on the photo and an article appeared. Shu's eyes widen as he read the headline. 

"Lui Shirasagi and Shu Kurenai announced their relationship to the world."

Sorry guys, It's kinda late. I'm busy with school. Our class is doing a drama to the English day. And yeah It's a freaking fairytale, no not cinderella it's the beauty and the beast. Sadly, none of my classmates knew the story except for me. I was like geez you guys didn't have a childhood? So yeah that's how I got the job to write the script and teach the characters to what to do in their parts and adding music and the told me to do that character of the Narrator too. 

So yeah, I'm super busy with school stuff and completely pissed of giving me that part. Seriously I'm fine being in the backstage crew. I don't wanna freaking go to the stage. So yeah, and the funny thing is I remembered the Cinderella version I wrote here when I was writing the script. I was like geez I wish I can add some stuff like that but my teachers will eat my head if I do that. 

So yeah, hope ya'll enjoyed the chapter.
