"W-what the hell?" Shu asked from himself as he scroll down reading the article.

The two best bladers in Japan had announced their relationship to the world. Shu Kurenai and Lui Shirasagi revealed that both of them are interested in each other. Many fans interpret this couple as the couple of the century. Because they started off as Enemies and then turned back to Lovers. The two went to an amusement park for their first date. One of the fans had the luck to get them to her camera.

Their was a another photo underneath it. It was him and Lui inside the Ferris Wheel kissing each other as the fireworks decorated the sky. Shu blinked remembering the little talk they had few minutes ago. 'What exactly happened?' Shu thought running a hand through his hair. He tried to remember Lui. But it was just a blank, it was only a blank space. He couldn't recall any of the incidents that the article said. He let out a frustrated groan laying down on the bed curling to himself. "Sorry Lui, I just... can't remember anything"

Lui sat down on his bed thinking back to their 'friendly' hangout with his 'boyfriend'. How sarcastic is that. The person he loved calls him to a friendly hangout. Lui closed his eyes and thought back at the moment. His words echoed inside his head. He said he'll forgive him. But how the hell is that possible when the other didn't even recognize him.

The day passed. Next day Lui woke up. It was the day of the nationals. His mind was going haywire with unexplained emotions. As usual he quickly dressed up and went outside. He skipped his breakfast as he stepped to the road. When he reached the WBBA building it was already buzzing with excitement. Many bladers were there. Some to compete in the games and some to watch their role models compete. Everything felt perfectly normal until a certain albino waved at him.

"Lui"

Lui huffed. He couldn't ignore the pang of happiness jumped out from his heart right at the moment he saw Shu. He was his lucky charm after all. Shu walked to him. "How are you?" He asked peering to his face.

Lui took a step back making an annoyed face. "Here I thought I'd have a peaceful day."

"That's pretty rude ya know?" Shu complained crossing his arms as he looked around the arena. "There are many people. I'm starting to get excited"

Lui only smiled as he walked inside to his training room. He didn't realize Shu was following him all the way. Lui entered his training room as he always does before a match. Shu waited till Lui settled down and cleared his throat. "Lui?"

Lui almost jumped in surprise when he spotted the albino standing behind him. He blinked. "What're you doing here? This is my private training room"

Shu bit his lip looking down at his feet. "I-I know, I just need to ask you something"

"Hurry up then I don't have the whole day"

Shu took a deep breath and talked. "Did the two of us have a relationship? I mean more than friends"

Lui almost choked. "Did you..." He trailed off as a spark of hope grew inside his mind. He wanted to know whether Shu remembered him at last or not.

"Sorry" Shu said. "I don't remember. I was curious after the things you said to me yesterday. I searched it up and what I saw was..." Shu struggled to find the right words to the dragon blader whose standing right in front of him.

"You saw the two of us are boyfriends" Lui concluded.

Shu nodded fidgeting with his fingers. "I'm sorry Lui, I really am."

"It's not your fault. I'm the one whose at fault. I hurt you a lot Shu. I know it's an unforgivable mistake but I'm sorry."

"No" Shu interrupted him. "I can't forgive you"

Lui looked down in shame. "I know"

"It's not like that. It's just right now I don't remember anything. It's just like a blank page of a book. I don't exactly remember anything. I want to forgive you and make it all up when I'm the Shu whom you know. Your Shu"

Lui blinked. "Yeah. If I had at least a bit of luck then you'll remember me. But if you don't remember this snowflake be happy with whoever you're with. Because you deserves better"

Shu pursed his lips and stepped out of the room. He had a guilty feeling engulfing his mind. He didn't know what to do or how was he suppose to regain his memory. His stance was broken by the beyclub who came running toward them. "How are you Shu?" Valt asked with a concern lacing voice.

"I'm fine Valt, it's been days since the accident happened" Shu answered his friend with a small smile.

Back inside the training room Lui punched the nearby wall in frustration. A mew thought had caught his mind. 'What if shu never got his memory back?' He thought as he sank down to the floor burying his tear stained face inside his hands. He was done for. He had a match starting in few seconds but he didn't have the spirit or courage inside him as he usually does. He always faced his battles in his full strength. He never even a second in his life thought that Shu would be the reason that he would become so weak.

Shu had always been his strength. The person who cheered him up. With thoughts storming around his mind he took his bey. He wrapped his fingers around it sighing. "Let's go Luinor, we don't have any other choice it seems"

Shu watched Valt and the rest of the gang headed to the stadiums. His head pounded as one word Lui said kept repeating inside his head. 'snowflake'. It sounds vaguely familiar for him but he couldn't place his finger where had he heard it. Shu stopped in the hallway holding his head in his both hands. The screen in front of him displayed the battle going on. It was almost at an end. Then the next two players appeared it was Lui and another player Shu couldn't recognize. As soon as the camera stopped in front of Lui's face he realize the dragon blader is not alright. Shu bit his lip as another memory crashed into his mind.

Shu closed his eyes taking deep breath. 'What's happening to me?' He thought bitterly. Pain hit him like he was dipped in lava. He sank down to his knees gripping his hair. For a moment he wanted it all to end. He wanted all the pain to stop at once. But it kept coming with more and more jumbled fuzzy memories. 'stop stop stop' Shu muttered resting his head against the wall.

Then it dawned on him. He remembered the moment he first kissed Lui. He remembered the exact way he voiced the words he wanted to hear. 'I love you' he said that day at the Sakura park. Every memory came to his mind one by one just like he was watching a movie. Their dates and everything else, every little thing which Shu secured in his mind about Lui, about his Lui. Shu turned to the screen again as the pain faded away as the memories become more clearer to him. His eyes widen when he saw the score board. Lui had lost two points and still he doesn't seem to do well.

Shu raced along the hallway and appeared in the audience. He went straightly to the edge of the bars and cupped his cheeks and yelled without even caring that thousands of people were watching him. "You idiot". Lui turned his head to see Shu.

"What the hell are you doing? When did you become so weak huh? You are Lui Shirasagi remember that? You never loses points dummy, I'm the only one who can do that got it? Don't be an idiot ,fight with your full strength." Shu yelled.

"You promised me didn't you? That we'll have a real fight at this nationals. You promised me that you will battle me at the finals. I don't think you can do that one if you fight like this."

Lui's eyes widen he took a step back. "You..."

Shu smiled. "Of course, how can I forget a dummy like you. You're such and idiot to think that, but I love you , you know? Because this idiot is mine. Now go and show them who you really are. Show me the real you. The one I fell in love with and a promise is a promise remember?"

Lui smirked as he turned back to the boy. "Okay dude, I got my lucky charm back now I'm going to show you your worst nightmare"

Back at the audience Shu sank down on his seat. His cheeks were bright red in embarrassment. It took him few minutes to realize that the whole audience was watching him. After his little speech he just wanted to shrink down until nobody can see him. He was sure by tomorrow morning the whole world would be talking about this.

Lui won easily. He quickly went outside of the stadium searching for a certain albino who confessed again to him in the middle of the stadium. Shu wasn't that kind of a person who would yell at him that he loves him in the middle of a huge crowd. He surely had changed him. Lui spotted Shu talking with the bey club in the corner. His cheeks and the tips of his ears were still red after the incident.

The beyclub noticed him, Shu quickly averted his gaze as Wakiya smirked. "There your prince is arriving to the spotlight looking for his princess"

Shu glared at him and didn't say a word when Lui stepped to him. He cupped Shu's cheeks and kissed him. Shu was startled for a second but quickly responded to the kiss. Lui missed this. He missed the way how Shu made him feel. Lui missed Shu's kisses on his lips. He missed every damn thing about his one and only love Shu Kurenai.

When they broke away the whole world seem to stop around them. Lui looked straight to his eyes. One hand still on the younger one's cheek. "When?"

"Just a few seconds after you called me snowflake" Shu answered.

Lui let out a soft laugh. "That name alone did a miracle it seems"

Shu shrugged looking away again. Lui gave him a amused look when Shinki talked. "I'm really glad you two made up. It had been a problem to us all"

"We still hadn't made up" Shu commented looking at him as everyone fell silent. Then he looked at Lui. "Think we should talk?"

Lui nodded. "Probably. Wanna go out with me today?"

Shu smiled at him. "Sure thing"

Lui took his hand and walked away from the group. They walked along the road as they arrived at a place. A place familiar to them both. The place where both of them realized that they are in love. It was the Sakura park. Lui led Shu to a bench as both of them sat down. Then a silence enveloped them. Neither one talked both of them staring to the space in front of them thinking of a better start. At last which felt like hours Lui talked. "I'm sorry"

Shu turned to him their shoulder brushing together. Lui kept talking. "I'm really sorry Shu, I'm a horrible person. You loved me from everything you had. But I- I broke your heart. I believed a stranger and thought you were cheating on me. I know you would never be able to forgive me but sorry, I truly am"

Shu didn't say anything instead he leaned back to the bench staring at the blue sky. "I like it here"

"Huh?"

"I like it here. It reminds me of the best day of my life. When my love confessed me and kissed me. It was like a dream coming true and that day I promised to myself that I won't leave you. I'll stay with you right by your side till the end" Shu stopped turning his head to Lui. "No love story is perfect Lui, not even ours is. But if it's perfect what's the use? It would be just boring. No matter how much we go through I'll keep my promise to never leave you behind. That's a thing"

"A thing?" Lui repeated. "Shu I need to say this" Lui said taking Shu's attention to him. "I was and I remain utterly and completely and totally in love with you"

Shu chuckled. "I know sharkie, and I'm also in completely love with you"

Lui leaned down as Shu did the same. Their lips met each other's ones. It was like thousand of fireworks. Lui's heart went crazy in his chest. No matter how many times they kissed this amazing feeling felt new with each and every kiss. Shu's stomach filled with butterflies. He felt happy, Lui was with him again. He felt secured inside his kisses and hugs. The two lovers broke the kiss.

"I missed the way you kissed me" Lui said. "So... am I forgiven?"

Shu made a thoughtful face. "Nope. You still owe me lunch"

"Of course snowflake. I know the perfect place for you" Lui said placing another kiss on his lips. The couple went over to a restaurant.

"Damn I'm so happy that it was only the two of us today" Lui said smirking as he wrapped his arm around Shu's waist. But he words his happiness too early. As soon as they entered the restaurant there was the beyclub and the rideout waiting for their lunch.

Shu laughed. "You talked way to early sharkie"

"Shu" Valt said waving at them. "Come and join us you two"

"It will ruin their date" Honcho commented seeing the devastated face of the dragon blader. Lui looked like he was ready to kill someone right now.

"Lui seem to be happy to see us here" Katana said snickering as Shu and Lui took their seats. "I can practically feel the heat from here"

Lui forced a smile. "Just shut up, or else I'll make sure you all never make it out alive to see the next day"

"loosen up dude" Daigo said nibbling his food.

"Shut up" Lui yelled. "Why does all you morons have to come here? Aren't there any other restaurants for you?"

"Lui" Shu said elbowing him. "Don't be so rude, they're our friends"

"Friends my foot" Lui muttered jabbing his food with his fork.

"Dude, the food did nothing wrong" Gou said as Lui gave him a just shut up look. Shu started to eat his own food. The guys chatted among themselves about various things. Shu just nodded and joined from here and there but didn't talk very much. Lui placed one of his cheeks on his hand and stared dreamily at Shu.

Shu felt eyes on him and turned to Lui. "What's wrong?" Shu asked blinking. "Is there something on my face?"

Lui sighed. "No, I missed you alot. We didn't spend much time and I didn't get to see your face as much as I did lately so I'm going to stare at you till I get bored which will be never"

"My goodness" Valt said as Gou spoke.

"I think Lui is sick guys. We need to take him to a doctor"

"He is sick" Katana said crossing his arms. "It's called love sick guys love sick. It's deadly get diagnosed once and there is no escape. See" He said pointing at Lui. "He's the biggest example right here"

Lui got up cracking his knuckles. "I think it's time to make you mute. Say bye bye to your throat before I snap it into half"

Katana shrieked as he left the table and started running around the restaurant. They were lucky that there wasn't many people inside it. Lui started chasing him. "Save me" Katana yelled grabbing a chair and blocking Lui.

Shu sighed standing up and walking to Lui. "Stop it. You'll get us all kicked out of here". Shu stood in between them. But Lui wasn't ready to let go of his fight.

"I'm going to kill him. He talk-" Lui was cut off by Shu who kissed him to make him shut up after few seconds he pulled away.

"Cool down?" Shu asked tilting his head.

Lui gave a defeated sigh. "Fine". He walked to his place and slumped down.

"Well..." Honcho said looking at Shu. "That was effective"

After bidding farewell to their friends the two walked to Shu's house. Shu invited him for a sleepover. His parents had left in the morning to work again. Which means Shu was alone at home. They walked inside to the silent apartment. Shu put on the lights. It was dark and Lui borrowed some clothes. When Shu finished his shower and walked to the room Lui was on his phone laying on the bed. Shu pouts when he realized the dragon blader is too absorbed on it and didn't pay any attention to him.

Shu climbed to the bed and crawled on top of his boyfriend then placed his chin on Lui's stomach waiting him to respond. When he didn't he sighed. "Lui" He called.

Lui just hummed in response but didn't take his eyes away. Shu whined. "I'm calling you, can't you even hear me"

Lui took off the phone to see Shu pouting frustratingly at him like a kitten. "Seems like someone needs attention"

Shu nods. Lui turned around making Shu fall over to the bed. Then he started to tickle the younger. Shu burst out in laughter. "Stop stop Lui" He said through laughs.

"You wanted attention and I'm giving you" Lui said smiling as he kissed Shu's pale cheeks. Shu hugged his partners neck yawning.

"I'm tired. Cuddle with me"

Lui turned off the lights as he threw covers over both of them. He wrapped one of his arms around Shu's waist and placed one last kiss on his forehead. "Sleep well snowflake"

Shu hummed muttering. "Hold me like this okay?"

Lui tighten his grip. "This time I'm not letting you go. I learned my lesson. That how much pointless is my life without you. I love you my angel"

His words was unheard because Shu was already asleep inside his arms feeling safe and sound. Even though he hadn't hear Lui's words the albino knew that no one in the world can separate them cause true love has no end.
