My task:

These days, there is a growing tendency among people to use public transportation instead of private cars. While this mode of transport has some drawbacks, it also offers human a lot of advantages.

It is undeniable that public transport have some apparent weaknesses. Buses, trains and subway seem to be not reliable in terms of preciseness and accuracy. They are sometimes not on their original timetable, which may cause great inconvenience and annoyance to the customers. Vietnam perfectly exemplifies this. Trains and buses usually fall behind schedule for 10 to 15 minutes, thus the travelers may not get to work or school on time. Another drawback is that public transports are not as safe as private cars. Some criminal activities on public buses or trains such as pocket thieves are still being reported everywhere.

However, I believe that the aforementioned disadvantages are meager in comparison with public transportation's benefits. Using public transport play an important role in curbing saturation. Buses and trains can accommodate a larger number of passengers than individual's cars and motorbikes, which means travelling on public vehicle can reduce occupancy rates. Therefore, traffic congestion may be eased, contributing to the development of an efficient transport system. Moreover, public transportation is beneficial to the environment. The utilization of this mode of transport helps to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels and the vehicle emission. As a result, the freshness and richness of the earth's environment can be protected rigorously.

In conclusion, people have different opinions about the increasing use of public transport. Although there are reasons to oppose to this type of vehicle, I believe that the benefits outweigh the weaknesses.
