EPILOGUE PART 1 || 1.5 YEAR LATER

"I love her and that's the beginning and end of everything."
—F. Scott Fitzgerald

After the Volturi fight there was only one monster to vanquish, and unfortunately for the couple this was a war they would not win. Alice persisted to no end, declaring that just because they'd said their vows to one another it didn't mean they were married. She stated that a proper marriage was in order, day after day reminding them that one way or another she would get her way. Finally, after a month of endless torture and whining Vi gave in with a roaring, "ALRIGHT AL-FUCKING-READY! WE WILL HAVE A WEDDING!"

And that was the that, Alice went into full planning mode.

The wedding was in mid June, perfect weather for everyone involved. Emmett and Vi set their foot down on only one detail in the entire time, the location. Alice wanted to throw another extravagant wedding in the Cullen backyard, claiming it would be just as grand and glamorous as Bella's had been, with all the right lights and supplies the bash would represent both in a unique way. Although she brought up many valid points there was still only one place right for the two of them.

In the middle of the dense Washington forest, where the trees grew tall and the ground was always wet there was a stump on the ground that declared their first encounter. All those months back and the countless events that had occurred after that fateful day, and even so they still knew exactly where to find it. Vi and Emmett hiked up to the place a day after the Volturi fight, sitting and remembering the memory with laughs and banter, using the stump to lean on when they sat down and pointing out the fallen tree not far off.

When they both finally agreed they told Alice of this clause in their agreement, and although the pixie haired girl was reluctant she finally agreed when they brought her to the empty woods. The place was quaint, quiet and just the perfect amount of space for the reception and ceremony. Alice then spent 6 months working tirelessly with the help of Emily and Rachel to make the wedding glamorous. Vi did the best she could but as soon as Alice heard her mention going barefoot the women had shooed her off.

The day was June 22, it was a rare occasion that the sun was shining but there was still a cool ocean breeze passing all the way into the forest. They invited all their friends, and most were of supernatural abilities. The vampires and werewolves got along now, they mingled together the night prior to the ceremony.

Emmett and Violet held one another close throughout the rehearsals, a smile on both their faces that couldn't be wiped off. Their friends each congratulated them, happy to join together for a joyous occasion for once. The night was spent with Vi and Benjamin entertaining the pack children with their abilities, Sam and Garrett droning on about their shared interests, and everyone simply enjoying company. When the dinner was over and the bonfire was shut down Alice forced the love birds to part, of course they didn't want to but as tradition went, they really had no say in the matter.

Emmett placed Violets hand over his heart, the hybrid reciprocating the gesture with his own palm and the two just silently stared at one another for a short time. Emmett winked at her, a smile on her lips, "see you tomorrow Ms. Uley, I've got a bachelor party to attend."

Vi giggled softly at his joke, noticing how Edward and Sam were also saying goodbye to their wives. Paul, Jared, and the rest of the pack also kissed their mates goodbye. Stone and Garrett were nodding at their mates with adoration, both Kate and Rosalie beaming at the small action. She had no idea what they were doing tonight but she figured someone would break an ankle at the very least, still she sent her soon to be husband off. "I'm not too worried, it'll never compare to mine. Hoorah, am I right Bella?"

Bella paled at the girls words, mouthing a silent "no" as all of the women, including Emily, Rachel, and Leah, shook their heads at her to stay silent. Emmett lifted a brow her way, "oh really?"

She hummed, playing coy and instead standing to her toes for a kiss. "I love you Em, go wild but if you come back to me with lipstick on any area of your body I will burn the wedding down with you and your groomsmen in it."

"On that note, it's time to go." Alice interrupted them, sticking her thin arms between their bodies to separate. "When Vi starts talking about burning the wedding I get nervous and also know it's time to put her to bed."

The couple barely seemed dazed by the intruding brunette, eyes locked as their grins seemed to extend. After a moment they nodded and went separate ways.

"Thank god, and I thought Edward and Bella were annoying." Jacob butted in, swinging his arm over Emmett's shoulder as they joined the rest of the men. "You two make me sick."

Emmett's jaw opened slightly, looking for a comeback for a few seconds before slitting his eyes and smiling at the wolf, "so you coming with? Did Bella manage to find another babysitter?"

They continue to bicker as the guys disappeared into the woods, leaving only the women on the steps of the Cullen home.

"So ladies?" Violet turned back to her squadron of female empowerment. "Alice has strictly prohibited from ever mentioning or participating in anything Bachelorette night risqué so? How does a movie night sound?"

"Sounds like I won't be prying another girls extensions from your hands!" Kate snorted, walking into the house.

"She had it coming!" Vi yelled back towards her, following after as most of the women trailed behind. "I told all of you I just wanted to talk to her! The bitch threw the drink at me first! Bella was there!"

Bella looked to immediately loathe being involved as she remembered the night, "please do not remind me."

Surprisingly Violet wasn't as nervous as everyone had thought— well that's until the guests started to arrive.

When the flow of voice both vampire and pack members started to rise her way, their many hums of pleasure for the couple and numerous questioning surrounding the oddness of their union, Violet started to go into sheer panic which for her was many swear words as she paced.

"I swear to god if you hired the same photographs I'll kill a motherfu—"

"Vi! Renessme!" Bella hissed, covering her daughters ears.

The formerly mentioned girl was now swatting away her moms hands, rolling her eyes as her cheeks turned a bright pink, "relax mom, I think Aunt Vi used to say swear words in the lullaby's she used to sing to me."

"It's fucking unreasonable that a damn nursery rhyme like the Pocketful of Posies would be so sinister!" She cut off one of her little rants, throwing her hands into the air as she looked at her young niece who shrugged her shoulders in agreement.

"She's got a point, isn't the nursery rhyme about children dying during the Black Plague or something?" Ness spoke in an intellectual manner, sounding far older then her given age of 13, earning a raised brow of horror from her hybrid aunt.

"No more creepy pastas for you Ness," Bella hummed to her daughter, standing from her spot on the couch and looking over her bridesmaid dress. It was a deep red, somewhere between burgundy and the color of wine, Vi had suggested it was the color of blood which lead to an ongoing joke between the girl. It was satin, with two straps holding it up and laced detail around the heart shaped neckline, the material fell al the way to the ground with a high slit, just risky enough for a wedding. The girls which included, Bella, Alice, Rachel, Emily, Tanya, and Kate all wore the exact same dress and stunned in it. The color matched perfectly from the richest of pigment in skin tone to the palest of the women, all were radiating. Emily had joke how the dress made her look slim despite having baby Henry just under a year ago.

"I thought it was always just a pretty song I used to push girls into mud," Rachel butt into the conversation as she waltzed into the room, carrying the hem of her dress in one hand and a full bottle of wine in the other.

Alice was right behind her, a blue garter in one hand and Vi's high heels in the other, she sighed in displeasure when she caught the worried look on the brides face. "It's your wedding day, why do you look like you're gonna shit your pants?"

"Gonna? I'm damn near on my way Alice! I can't do this! How many people did you invite! This is just cocktail hour downstairs! How many are gonna be at the ceremony! Did you know I'm not very coordinated? Especially when I'm her—"

Vi hadn't breathed throughout her entire monologue, voice going higher and higher the longer she spoke until Rachel had either grown tired or wanted an excuse to silence the girl, either way she placed her hand over her mouth and instructed, "breathe." She simulated the movement, forcing Vi to follow along who managed to calm and stop talking long enough for Rachel to pull her hand away and pop off the cork to the drink, handing it to her, "figured you might need this and what do you know? I'm a witch, just like Sabrina."

Vi mouthed a thank you to her best friend, grasping the cold bottle between her hands and already feeling relief as she chugged not once, not twice, but three times without coming up for air.

Alice rushed forward, swiping it away with narrowed vision, "alright liquid courage is good but not the whole bottle, we don't need you burping through your vows."

Vi nodded, sighing out as the stress began to leave her body as Tanya and Kate walked into the room. Both women smiled, matching dresses looking brilliantly on them as well.

"Oh, I don't know if we'll have to worry about that one, it'll be the cursing as she walks down the aisle that will be a concern." Kate said, smiling at Rachel and Emily who nodded as she passed them.

"True," Vi nodded her head, pointing a finger in acknowledgment.

Alice was suddenly taking charge again, standing directly in front of Vi, their height practically similar as Vi had no shoes on and Alice had been prancing around in heels since the early morning. Alice lifted two items, Vi's silver heels and the flimsy blue garter.

"Something borrowed courtesy of Bella," Alice answered the question on Vi's mind as she twisted the flimsy garter.

Bella nodded her head, "enjoy it, i know I didn't."

"That was the closest Mike ever got to your thigh I'll bet," Alice mutters back, lowering herself to the ground and lifting Vi's dress up before disappearing underneath it. Vi held her arm out, reaching for Kate who was the nearest as she nearly topped over when Alice lifted her leg up.

"Alice!" Vi hissed, "careful with the merchandise!"

"We all do know how much Emmett treasures those legs," Rachel snorted, forcing the bride to blush a deep red as she heard her fiancée words echo.

"Heard? He was practically screaming it at the bridal shower, I thought Sam was going to hurl a speaker at him to shut up during the speeches." Alice said from underneath the dress as she lifted one hand out to Tanya. "Shoe please!"

Tanya handed over a heel, everyone silent as Vi concentrated on not falling while Alice worked as quickly as possibly. Eventually Vi was a few inches taller and now fidgeting with the garter on her leg, hoping it wouldn't give her a thigh rash.

Alice stepped back, smiling, "perfect! And just in time I hear your brother and Emily coming."

The sounds of footsteps was heard, all the vampires and human awaiting the small family. The 9 month old baby boy was the one everyone gravitated too, his small gurgles of joy bright when his eyes met his Aunt Vi's, her mood immediately lifted as she saw him. "Henry!!"

Vi practically dashed towards the child, careful not to trip over the white dress and barely giving her brother and sister in law the time of day as she picked the little one up and bounced him on her hip, not caring he could throw up all over her. "Baby!! I missed you!"

Emily eyed her sister in law, both parents watching as the girl bounced the baby on her lap and twirled in a circle while the child hummed in joy and clapped his hands. Vi was great with babies, every child seemed to adore her.

"This is what it takes to get her in a good mood," Alice said, walking over towards the pack mother. "Thank you."

Emily shrugged her shoulders in return, "he's been fussy all day, figured Vi would do the trick."

"The only thing she loves as much as that child is Emmett." Kate mumbled.

"Well that and chips," Rachel added and everyone couldn't help but smile in agreement.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Vi, baby Henry is gonna ruin your wedding dress if you don't stop twirling him." Alice said after a moment, allowing the hybrid some time with her nephew.

Vi groaned, pulling the child closer towards her chest as he laid his head down there. "Can't I just hold him while I walk down the aisle?"

Emily shook her head, reaching out for her son, "I would suggest not, even in my belly this little one decided to be the center of attention as I walked down."

Vi snorted, remembering how Emily had to stop mid ceremony because her water had broken. It was quite comical and had Carlisle not been there she probably would have fainted at the mere thought of delivering another child.

"He could steal all the spotlights tonight and I would not be mad," she answered, cooing at her sweet nephew. Vi was amazed at how much he looked like her brother, he was a mirror image and it quite possibly made her love the baby even more. She ruffled his brown hair once more and then turned towards her silent brother, his eyes boring into her own. "Samuel, you clean up nice."

The Alpha was in an expensive suit, actually all the wolves were in one, well except for Leah who dawned a fluttery gown. Alice had forced them all into nice outfits, refusing to allow even the youngest of them to wear something casual.

Sam smiled, pride in his eyes as he placed both hands over her shoulders, "Vi, you–"

"I know," Violet mumbled, her brother was never very good with words. Sam was more of a silent appreciator, a person could tell a lot simply by the way his face molded when looking at them. His eyes were tender now, reddening around the edges, just enough for Vi to notice, his fingers squeezed her shoulder tightly, warmly as if he wasn't quite ready for her to go. His lips kept parting and pressing together, telling her there was a million things he needed to speak but none could come out.

Alice must have noticed this, she looked around the room and lifted her hands, "why don't we give you two some space, the wedding starts in 5 minutes, Vi your bouquet will be outside."

Vi silently thanked her, the siblings separating as everyone walked past them in silence.

When they had left and Emily had closed the door the two embraced, hugging tightly as Vi reminded herself that her makeup could not take the sobs. Sam must have realized she couldn't bear the crying and pulled away, looking down at his little sister and saying, "you looks so beautiful Violet, like a full women. Everyday I expect you to come bounding down my steps, a little girl with a few teeth missing but here you are, almost a married women. I won't lie, it hurts me to let you go but I know that man outside loves you. I know he wants the world for you and I've never been surer. I want you to know that even though you'll be married and I have a family that will never come between us, because you'll always be my little sister and no matter what I will be there for you. I love you Violet."

Vi couldn't believe her brother had actually confessed all of that, her heart pumped so fast words choked in her mouth and she simply walked forward and hugged him. Tears were now brimming her eyes but she didn't care, she was bound to cry.

Eventually they pulled away and Vi smiled, "I love you Sammy, no matter how much you are a pain in the ass sometimes. I love you and that gorgeous family you have, and I'll always protect you all."

Sam smiled, pressing his hand against his sisters cheek, "come on V, it's time to get you married."

The wedding ceremony was spectacular, the walk towards the place wasn't very far off, even walking it was near enough. Vi and Sam walked down the aisle, brother handing his sister away, Joshua was there but he has graciously admitted that the only person fit to give her away was Sam himself. The wolves and vampires smiled brightly as the bride walked down the aisle, holding her breath and biting her lip the entire way down. Vi kept her mind busy, attempting not to fall over so she took notice of anything her eyes caught, and eventually they circled around to Emmett.

His eyes were her peace, they were her salvation, and if there was a book of life, their lives molded together the second they'd collided here long ago.

Emmett smiled, grin wide as ever as one hand covered the lower half of his face and he turned to Stone, his best man. There was only three words that came out of his mouth, "that's my wife."

Stone nodded his head, pulling out a white handkerchief and nodding, "yes mate, she's a stunner."

"Wow," Emmett whispered, taking the handkerchiefs and rubbing it against his eyes as he once more looked at the brunette.

Vi felt her toes curl, hand tighten around her brothers as she signaled for him to walk faster, to forget the stupid drum beat and just help her dash across the aisle. Sam patted her hand, recognizing her impatience, he was going to savor the last moments he had as Vi just being attached to him.

When they finally made it up to the aisle, Emmett was all to eager to step closer, looking towards his soon to be wife and then respecting his brother in law. They nodded at one another at first, Sam's face shifting into one of respect as he looked at the vampire, all those years he'd spent hating them for turning him into a monster, who would have thought now he'd be trusting his sisters life into one?

Sam turned to his little sister, Vi as well moving her eyes away from her gorgeous mate and to her brother who moved his hands over her jaw, pulling her into his embrace and kissing her forehead. Vi closed her eyes, reminding herself that nothing would change, even if her and Sam started separate chapters. They pulled away, and Sam placed his sisters hand into her soon to be husbands, entrusting that the love they shared was strong enough to protect them both.

The wedding itself was beautiful, Vi cried and even Emmett slightly choked up as they said their vows. It was nothing special, to them the moments before the witnessing had been their wedding and this was just a celebration for all to take in. They exchanged vows, placed rings on one another's fingers and sealed eternity into a kiss before the fun got started.

They ate a lot, danced, and even sang along to their favorite music. Vi enjoyed as much as she could, only leaving her husbands side when someone asked her to dance, which was very often but it didn't matter.

She danced with Sam right after her first dance with Emmett, he held her tightly and told her how proud he was of her. The siblings swayed together for a song before Joshua came in and proceeded to dance with his daughter which settled into a confortable silence.

Then the rest of the wolves cut in, Jacob dancing with her the longest.

"You know, I think this is the best outcome to a breakup to ever happen." He said in the middle of their sway.

"You're fucking hilarious," she muttered back but after a moment nodded her head. "Fair point though, I don't think I could have dealt with all that snoring."

"Or the kicking," Jacob retorted and the two laughed the rest of their dance.

The Cullen's were up next, Carlisle first and then Jasper, both of whom were somehow experts of dancing and moved Vi around like a doll although she managed to keep up, cackling the entire way through.

Rachel and Emily were next, both running in with a big hug, the three swayed for a moment before their hands lifted and they were bringing forth all the other bridesmaids who ran up and began to dance together, Vi in the dead center.

The children decided to run up, Renessme carrying Henry who outstretched towards Vi with glee. She plucked him off the young girl, grasping Renessme with her other and danced with them together.

Finally Emmett got his chance with his wife, after an hour long of being apart he finally cut in and took her into his arms.

Stand By You played in the speakers, a soft melody as they pressed close and Vi placed her head on his chest while Emmett ran his hands down her back.

She thought back to the first time they'd met, her infamous nickname and their arguments, how easily they could settle their battles and even the ridiculous things they did together. She remembered how serene it was to be with him, how much being with Emmett was never a second thought but instead a reflex and a small chuckle left her lips.

"What's so funny darling?" Emmett asked, calmness in his tone. Around them couples got up to dance, many in their own worlds.

"It's just—I never doubted that I loved you, not even at first. I love you, Emmett and that was the beginning and end for a lot of things." She hummed back.

Emmett gave her words some thought, silently replaying his own favorite memories, every crinkle between her eyebrows, the way her face would suddenly drop in pure anger, and every time something major would happen (no matter how good or bad) her hands would instinctively find his own. He retraced every step they took in his mind, all the pain he had felt the night he had practically lost her and every memory after that, coming up with only one plausible answer. "It's not the end, we have eternity darling. You and I are like the stars and galaxies above us, endless. We began something grand together and we will make sure it's as permanent as everything up above."

Violet pulled back, eyeing her soulmate as they both slowly smiled in that very dazed way, pupils widening the longer they looked at one another. She stood on the tips of her toes, leaning close enough to feel his lips brush against her own.

"Even the stars and galaxies will be jealous of our eternity, polar bear."
