They appeared bright and early, well as bright as a winters day could be.

Vi changed slowly, helping Bella with Renessme before changing into her own black attire. It amuses her, they were going in all black like it was time for a funeral, their funeral. Still she changed, sitting in the tent for less then ten seconds before standing and walking out to Emmett who was waiting for her. He clutched her hand, her eyes roaming from his perfect face to the empty campground the vampires had sat around all night.

"Guess we should get this going." She muttered, attempting to keep her spirits up despite the situation. In all the days since she'd anticipated this, of all the moments that her mind had wrestled with the idea of this very second, she never imagined it would be so serene.

Death wasn't unusual for her, they'd met recently and if today was her final encounter with the reaper then she would not go in darkness, but choose to blast away in a bright glory.

"Wait—" Emmett said, pulling her back as she turned her head back. Her hair swayed across her shoulder as she stilled, questioning just what he was doing.

"Em? They're waiting for us." She muttered, tightening her hold on his hand in hopes he would go forward. The clock was winding down and anytime now the Volturi were expected.

He shuffled around in the pocket of his jeans, pulling his enclosed fist forward before opening her small palm. Delicately he set something down there, Violet confused at the cold material that latched onto her plan until Emmett pulled his hand away to reveal it.

It was 2 thin wedding bands, one slightly thicker then the other and as he reached for the ring enclosed around her neck she realized what what was happening.

"Now darling, I realize that this isn't exactly what your generation calls marriage but I figured impending doom was better then never, and besides I think it's kind of romantic." He muttered, leaning his arms out to unclasp the thin chain around her neck. Quickly he unclasped and revealed the engagement ring he'd given her months ago, smiling brilliantly at her. "I've been thinking about my vows a lot lately and although I hope to extend them in the future, I'll keep it short for now."

Violet felt her chest warm up despite the freezing temperatures, eyes beginning to water as Emmett flipped over her palm and placed her engagement band into place before picking up the thin silver wedding band. He clears his throat, shuffling on his feet for a brief second, making sure the top of her finger aligned with the silver band perfectly. With a grin he began, "from the moment I saw you in those trees, running your perfect ass off without an ounce of fear in your veins I knew that you were meant to show me more then all the centuries I'd lived through. Vi, you are more then my soulmate, you're my sun and I am your moon. I aim to chase after you for all of eternity, wherever you go I will follow even if it is to the world end. You and I, Vi,  we're not a love that can duplicated, and if today means the end of this adventure then know I would have spent a lifetime following after you just like the sun and the moon. I love you Violet Odessa Uley, and with this ring I thee wed."

He kissed each knuckles of her hand before placing the ring into its perfect position, holding still her shaking hand. She was crying, warm tears cascading down her tanned skin and although she could feel them turning ice cold she did not care, because nothing would ruin this moment for her. Emmett let out a satisfied exhale, winking at her and briefly muttering, "I wanted to do that from the moment I pushed you into those trees."

Vi laughed, clearing her throat as she pushed back the tears and the small sob that wanted to arise. After a moment of gathering her wits she realized that although there was nothing prepared for her to say she didn't care, anything she said was real. She flipped Emmett's left hand, finding the correct finger and placing his band at the tip before reciting into his honey eyes, "if we are the sun and the moon then that means we're infinite. No matter what dims us, or even destroys us will always win, because we will live on in the stars, mingling and intertwining our souls together. Today, I promise to keep my vows no matter what. Wherever you go I will follow Em, in life or death, I will be next to you. You're the greatest part of my existence, the impossible in my world of normality. I love you does not begin to describe what you will always mean to me, but I hope tying myself like this to you is a start. Emmett McCarty Cullen, with this ring I thee wed."

She slid the ring into the perfect slot, feeling Emmett lift her up so their lips met and like that their fate was sealed.

Whatever happened from then onwards would be together, no matter what.

When Violet and Emmett emerged from the woods they were met with only vampires on their side. They'd assembled into small clusters, and although they did their best to expand their clusters still looked tiny. Edward, Bella, and Ness were in the center, the family of three standing proudly. Carlisle and Esme were close by, holding hands as tightly as ever. The rest of the vampires stood with their families, and unsurprisingly Garrett stood with the Denali women, beside Kate. The shocker was Stone who was standing beside Rosalie, the two near enough that it would have strikes intrigue in Vi had her mind not been preoccupied.

Her tightened grip alerted Emmett who had already taken notice of her expression, he lifted her hands to his lips and kissed, before muttering, "they'll be here, relax."

She swallowed thickly, hearing an abundance of feet walking in unison, and her blood ran cold as the moment was here and now. Emmett pulled her along, bypassing many of their friends to stand near their family, where the head of the line was.

"This doesn't feel right," she murmured, yearning for the warmth of her wolves. She knew they had to be here with her, with all of them and yet they were nowhere to be seen.

Emmett could only rub the pad of his thumb over her knuckles, watching as the never ending Volturi clan rose from the fog.

"The red coats are coming, the red coasts are coming." Garrett seemed to be the only one to find humor as he leaned into Kate to mutter.

Stone elbowed him gently, "that was not funny the first time you said it in the 1700's, and it won't be now."

"Well, he's got a point," Vi commented, disbelieving that this was so called vampire royalty. After all her years and all the supernatural she'd come across, this felt like the bottom of a nightmare.

"If we make it out of this, I promise to follow wherever you go women." Garett said, referring to Kate and outstretching his hand to find her own

"Now you tell me." She sasses back, although her grip tightened over his palm.

Rosalie whispered to Stone right after, "the Bahamas are lovely this time of year."

"With you, yes," he quickly nodded.

All around the Cullen's witnesses seemed to mark their love to one another, even Vi and Emmett.

"I'll follow you anywhere," Emmett muttered to her, quickly finding her eyes and tightening his hand over her own so he could press the diamond of her ring into his palm.

"Sun, moon, stars and anywhere else you go. I'll be there." She replied, fearing that if an "I Love You" were to actually leave her lips she would cry. Emmett smiled her way, pulling off both his and her ring. He stuffs them into the inside pocket of his jacket, patting the spot with his hand softly as it rests over one of his lungs. This small gestures means the world to Vi, squeezing his hand.

With that single promise they turned back, finding that the Volturi were approaching and not stopping, which meant they could possibly not be here to listen.

A howl in the distant sent chills through Vi's body, and her lips upturned into a smile as her head tilted to the countless howls that followed her brother's.

The wolves, defenders of the Quiletes and first line of defense rushed out of the tree lining and into the open space. There was so many of them, they filled the empty spaces between the vampires.

Jacob passed Vi, dipping his head her way before taking a stance beside Bella.

Sam, the most menacing midnight black wolf rushed to the front, and with a huff he acknowledged his sister and her husband. She ruffled her hand through his fur, turning to find that the rest of them had taken to surrounding her as well. She could tell Paul and Jared were next to Emmett, their heads bowed to her when she looked their way.

In fact, when she looked towards all the wolves their heads dipped for a split moment, huffs leaving their lips as if to speak to her.

Her hand continues to stroke Sam's fur as the wolfs eyes bore into her face and she whispers, "I love you Sam, whatever happens now I want all of you wolves to know, you made my life a damn miracle, I love all of you more then I could ever love myself."

She smiled forward, content with knowing the wolves were present and to find that the Volturi had stopped.

"Why did they stop?" Bella asked, speaking quietly although it was no use.

Edward tilted his head towards the hybrid, "it was Vi, and the pack. They'd heard rumors."

The Volturi's hoods drops, again all at the same time and Violet gets to see them all together. Her eyes flash between them all, going from the outsides to the very middles, distinguishing between each all pale features. She's notes the beauty, the ancient features and the power between them all. They were everything she'd been told, likely more.

Carlisle stepped forward at their stop, walking a few yards ahead as Esme was left to worry. Being that he was the leader of them all he began to speak, "Aro, Iet us discuss things as we used to. In a civilized manner."

The one named Aro stepped forward, dark hair and pale feature pulling as he spoken back, "fair words, Carlisle. But a little out of place, given the battalion you've assembled against us."

As if to show he had nothing to worry about Carlisle stepped closer with sincerity, "I can promise you, that was never my intent. No laws have been broken."

"We see the child. Do not treat us as fools." A blonde man spoke, his voice full of disgust.

Carlisle decided not to respond to him but to everyone as his voice grew louder and he addressed the crowd. "She is not an lmmortal! These witnesses can attest to that. Or you can look. See the flush of human blood in her cheeks."

"Artifice!" The blonde once more rebutted.

Aro held up his hand, stopping his brother from continuing, "I will collect every facet of the truth. But from someone more central to the story. Edward, as the child clings to your newborn mate, I assume you are involved."

All eyes turn to the bronze haired son and his family, awaiting his decision. He'd been called to stand trial almost, and now the decision was his to run or be brave. With a single nod he turned towards his daughters, fondly rubbing his hand through her hair and then towards Bella who he merely gave a lasting look before walking through no mans land and inching closer to the enemy.

He passed Carlisle and walked directly up to Aro, taking the outstretched hand the man held out and letting him clutch at it. Vi had been told by Emmett that the leader of the Volturi possessed many of the same powers Edward did, except his were limited to contact only and expanded more then just current thoughts, he could see a person entire life with a single touch. They stayed like this for a moment, Edward seeming to be rummaging through his mind just as much as Aro went through his own and when his eyes flashed back to reality there was intrigue in them.

Aro swallows in anticipation, looking back to the young girl and then sweeping the crowd, finding Vi and the wolves somewhere in the middle. When his eyes leave her and go back to Renessme he speaks once more, "I'd like to meet her."

Edward turns back, looking at his wife as they deliberate between their states for a moment. Bella seems to agree, squaring her shoulders and pulling Renessme along with her. Vi feels her heart hammering into her throats as Jacob trails right after her niece, finding that already there was too many people she cared for in danger.

The trio stopped, turning her way but not looking at her general direction, it's Emmett they glance at, the strongest vampire in the world. She follows their vision, finding a small smirk on her imprints lips and although it physically feels like knives ripping half her heart away when he looks down at her she nods, loosening her grip and letting him pull away. Emmett winks at her, as if to show just how fine he would be, his hand goes over her soft lips in one quick flash before parting way. When he walks away, immediately Paul takes his place with a head nod towards the bulky vampire and the wolves crowd back near Vi.

Vi barely recognizes this as she sees Aro's eyes trail from her departing boyfriend back to the wolves and her. A grin is on his lips even when Sam seems to snarl in warning.

When Emmett meets the trio they continue walking, two guards now by Renessme side ready for action. When they finally reach the meeting point Aro seems to be stuck on Bella, "Ah. Young Bella." He speaks to her with a slight European accent. "Immortality becomes you."

Bella remains silent despite his compliment and he doesn't at all seem bothered as he looks towards the young child and then erupts into a fit of laughter. "I hear her strange heart.

Renessme fearlessly takes a step forward, "Hello, Aro." And she rejects his hand, instead placing her own against his papery cheek.

"Magnifico!" He exclaims out loud, looking back towards his crowd of guards. "Half mortal, half immortal. Conceived and carried by this newborn while she was still human."

His blonde brother refuses to believe so. "Impossible!"

"You think they've fooled me brother? Well then you will really disregard my next statement, " Aro retaliates, storing the best for last as he points one finger back over towards the line full of wolves and directly towards the women between them all. "They have one more half immortal, a hybrid. Born of shapeshifter blood and bitten she is now an elemental, one of two."

"That's absurd!" Caius retorted. "The stories were all lies."

"You see Benjamin, we knew about him for a long time now. Perhaps we should meet Violet then, to show you she is real." Aro offered up the brunette as if she was his property already.

Surprisingly Vi had the most calm response to it all, pursing her lips and crossing her arms across her chest while the wolves all snarled into the air. Their backs hunched, pressing their front and hind legs together as if ready to jump a great distance, even Sam placed paws in front of her feet to show she wasn't going anywhere. Jacob menacing growl was a deep rumble, only silenced when Renessme pulled on his fur.

Vi weighed her options, knowing that no matter what happened Emmett and Jacob were close and if they didn't return sooner she was going to go up there herself. She rolled on the balls of her feet, mustering up the courage to go toe to toe with ancient vampires and whispered to herself, "fuck it, let's get this over with."

As she took the first steps forward she never anticipated to have every wolf following her steps. She turned back, Aro's hysterical laugh once more ringing aloud with a clap of his hands. She quickly realized he liked this, he wanted to see the wolves have this type of reaction. Her eyes narrowed at them all and she shook her head, "no, I can do this."

The younger wolves seemed to understand first, all retreating back to their original positions. Sam eyed her, pitch black eyes telling her she would not go into this alone. Paul and Jared retreated with the alphas command and then the Uley siblings were walking toward the hoods of vampire royalty.

Sam kept instep with his younger sister, deeply huffing as he paced his walking and eyes grew narrower at Aro's widening grin the closer they came.

His wolf was practically pressing against her side, daring any of the bloodsuckers to so much as breathe too closely to his little sister. When they arrive with the Cullen's and Jacob they seemed to take a step back. Edward nodded at her, a signal that nothing in Aro's mind was threatening. She sighed in relief, looking towards Emmett who grunted at her, he didn't like this one bit. Still he fell in line behind her with Sam, allowing her to take the few steps forward and confront Aro.

She'd been well prepped for this, Aro was able to see into minds which meant if he asked her, he would see every moment of her life. All the intimate moments, the ones she shared with Emmett in bliss or the ones only her and her brother had been witness too at a young age. If possible all of this would no longer just be hers but there was a possibility he couldn't be able too, just like Edward he'd draw up blanks because of her elemental power.

"Wolf Queen, hybrid, Elemental and Violeta, it is truly a pleasure to meet you." He spoke her name and she refused to allow the chills that raised onto her skin be reciprocated by a thumping heart, she would never show fear to oppressors like him.

"Aro," she finally spoke his name allowed, as much as she wanted to rant out and bash his head she couldn't., this was not the time or the place just yet.

"My dear, you've been quite anticipated. Such beauty, and warmth, I've heard of many like you but you're one of kind. All that power, " it was like Aro was her fan. The way his eyes glossed over every inch of her face, and his finger tips lifted to touch her soft face, like she was masterpiece.

Sam's menacing growl and snap of his lips halted Aro's hand, as well as the way Emmett placed his hand on top of Violets shoulder. The raven haired girl blinked at the Volturi leader, restraining from smirking and staring. "I would advise against that."

"Wolf queen," he reminded himself with a head nod although that did not drop his lifted hand. "And you're a Cullen now, mated to Emmett, the strongest man in the world. I see everything's worked out quite well for you, Violeta."

"There's still a few kinks to work out," she commented. Her eyes flickered towards his lifted palm, wanting to smack it away. "If you're thinking about reading my mind it doesn't work, elemental and all."

Aro nodded, dropping his hand and immediately taking note of the reaction Emmett and Sam had, both men relaxing back into their original stance. He smiled, almost kicking as his eyes blinked back towards Vi, "I see you have a full army of walked at your disposal."

For some reason this sentence was the one to set Vi and although it might have seemed like it her heart was hammering loud because he had pointed out what she most loved in the world, in reality it was not. She was pissed because he thought she needed protection, like she needed someone's help to stay alive. Her arms lifted, tiny flames appearing at the tips of her hair, Aro's eyes following the trail as he took a step back. It was Vi's turn to smile as she responded, "I do have an army, but I don't need them. I can take care of my problems."

She'd thrown down the gauntlet, finally able to get a clever jab into the ancient vampires ego and if there was no grand battle today then at the very least she would have achieved this. The flames died when Aro's eyes almost popped out of his skull. He doesn't react for a moment, never having found someone as bold as her to speak to him such a way. Apart of him wonders if it's the wolf in her, but he can see that the determination behind her eyes is all her and he's yet again smiling. "You'd be marvelous in my guard, certainly better protected inside the walls of Volterra, hunters don't step foot there."

Vi is baffled at this man's audacity, sensing how quickly he is willing to give her asylum despite her obvious hatred. She takes a step back, snarling as the inner wolf in her escapes and says, "I can take care of myself."

"Enough of this!" Cauis pressed forward, avoiding eye contact with the wolf. "Bring the informer forward." As the Volturi group approaches the Cullen's and the wolves walk back to their group. Violet grasps Emmett's hand and pulls it back, taking, the other holding a handful of Sam's fur like Ness did with Jacob. Cauis grasps the blonde irían and shakes her, pointing a bony fingers towards the child. "Is that the child you saw?"

Irina's eyes stare for a moment before she's shaking her head, "I'm not sure."

Caius turns towards one of the shortest guards, almost a child. "Jane."

Irina seems threatened and terrified, and Vi quickly realizes just who this Jane is. She'd been told by Edward himself the pain her mind could cause, how every inch of your skin would burn away in your mind, suffice to say even Irina was quick to answer. "She's changed. This child is bigger."

Caius deep set eyes seemed to harden as he snapped at her. "Then your allegations were false."

Irina squared her shoulders, nodding her head and pressing onward with the situation. "The Cullens are innocent. I take full responsibility for my mistake. I'm sorry."

Her final words were met with more silence then gratitude, because this did nothing to erase the situation they were all in. The Volturi were still here to kill the Cullen's and anyone associated with them.

Violet didn't know this women, and although she knew very well how gravely the situation affected this Irina's sincerity was well received as she found herself nodding towards the women. A breath escaped her, blinking towards the group as they awaited what would happen next.

Irina arms were pulled apart by two of the nearest guards, they pulled mercilessly in one swift second as the rest of the witnesses watched on helplessly. A torch was lit to the Denali women's body before anyone could react.

And suddenly her sisters were ready for retaliation.

Tanya roars out and runs forward, "Irina!"

She's caught before she can even cross the halfway point, being held in place by Stone who is right behind her trail. She wrestles for a moment, attempting to push off and slither her thin body out of his grasp but he is like a boa, keeping her in place and Rosalie stands in front of her, calmly whispering against her screams of pain.

Kate is harder to control, she knocks down anyone in her path. Violet lifts the ground up and creates a boulder in front of her but she smashes through it with ease. It's Garrett who finally seems to possess the strength to hold her down despite the pulses running through her hand and body.

Edward turns to Zafrina, the Amazonian vampire and asks for her help. "Blind them."

Zafrina nods and silently turns to both women, all is silent until the sisters go limp.

Tanya seethes as she speaks, "give me my sight!"

Edward steps between both women and reasons. "Tanya, this is what they want. Ifyou attack now, we'll all die."

The women surprisingly listened, calming themselves until Stone could let Tanya go and Kate no longer sent shockwaves through Garrett. Successfully avoiding it all Edward stepped away, heading back towards his family

This angered Aro, it wasn't noticeable however, just a simple head nod to the young girl beside what seemed like her brother. She stepped forward again, looking directly at Edward and muttering one single word. "Pain."

And suddenly he was on the ground, restraining himself from screaming his lungs out at the sheer amount of fire burning his body. Emmett pulled Vi next to him, the hybrid snarling at the young vampire who was centered around Edward.

Bella, who had finishing placing Renessme on Jacobs back suddenly turned, her face blanking for a moment before she stepped forward and shutting her eyes. Everyone stayed silent, waiting as the newborn pushed her pushed her powers into the ultimate test. For Bella, this was no longer simply training, this was the love of her life on the line and she would protect him and everyone here with her dying breath. The shield around her mind opened and pushed past her, encompassing the whole crowd, including the wolves.

Edward stood after a second longer, looking towards his wife with happiness and walking over towards her as she concentrated on keeping it up. When Bella realized she could now control it she turned towards Jane and smirked, signaling they were evenly matched.

Jane suddenly was ravenous, taking a step forward to attack and being halted by her brother.

Her brother shook his head, silently pushing her back and now standing at the front as black smoke swirled out of his hands.

"Bella–" Vi tensed, not turning her back on the paralytic taxing that escaped those hands. So far elementals had been immune to many of vampires tricks but this was on another level.

"On it," the newborn muttered back, gritting her teeth as if to ensure that the barrier would stay up.

Aro lifted his hand, stopping the smoke from pursuing.

Carlisle spoke up, "Aro, you see there's no law broken here."

"Agreed." Ark nodded however his eyes told a different story as he went on. "But does it then follow that there is no danger? For the first time in our history humans pose a threat to our kind. Their modern technology has given birth to weapons that could destroy us. Maintaining our secret has never been more imperative. In such perilous times, only the known is safe. Only the known is tolerable. And we know nothing ofwhat this child will become. Can we live with such uncertainty? Spare ourselves a fight today, only to die tomorrow."

A rustling from the nearby woods gathered all their attention, trees pushing apart and twigs breaking in half as two bodies emerged from the woods. Violet felt her heart pounding in her ears, the surge of adrenaline striking all at once when Alice's short body popped out, followed by Jasper.

"Alice," they all breathe out in shock, even Aro, the leader of the Volturi gloriously states her name as if he was waiting for the final piece to his puzzle to be complete. His smile is a mile long as the small brunette looks towards her family, nodding at them as she clutches Jasper's tense hand and then walked towards the other side.

Aro is practically over the moon when she nears and is stopped by the guards.

Aro speaks to her as if she were his daughter, stepping forward as Alice resists against the guards mighty hold. "My dear, dear Alice, we're so glad to see you here, after all."

Alice doesn't seem to care for his words as she declares. "I have evidence the child won't be a risk to our kind." Aro doesn't seem at all convinced so she directly talks to him, gentler, like they were friends. "Let me show you."

Her hand extends out like an olive branch, and Aro practically springs at the opportunity, signaling for her guards to release her. She steps forward, placing her hand in his own as the world goes silent. Aro relaxes into her hold and after a few moments Alice's shoulders hunch, feet straggling back despite Aro's iron grip on her.

The pixie haired girl stares wide eyes at him and then utters, "It doesn't matter what I show you. Even when you see. You still won't change your decision."

Aro's silent response is all she and the rest of the vampires need to know, war it is.

Alice turns, eyes locked onto Bella as she gasps out, "Now!"

The entire assembly of vampires is puzzled, watching as the mother of the child looks up towards her daughter. Bella runs a hand over Renessme face fondly, committing the child's features to memory. Her face holding is back from sobbing desperately but still she looks at the massive sized wolf and nods at him. "Take care of my daughter."

Jacob doesn't hesitate, nodding his head at her and turning in the opposite direction, wolves creating a path for him. He leaps out of view and straight into the thick brush.

"Get them!" Cauis snaps at a group of guards.

They lurch forward, ready to stop the pair when suddenly the road behind catches fire, flames angrily reaching out to the guards as if to dare them to go any closer. It's Violet, she's controlling the wildfire, containing it in one giant ball of rage. Trees begin to fall from above, snapping up and creating even bigger chaos, Benjamin has stepped up, hand lifted and commanding the trees to the ultimate sacrifice. The guards have no other choice but to look for a different route, a longer route.

Meanwhile, Alice manages to free herself from Aro's grasp kicking him so he is sent flying through the open air. He lands on his feet, done with these games his true colors expose as he snarls, "take her away!"

Alice is caught by two guards, pushed in the opposite direction of Jasper.

Carlisle is the first to break rank as he yells out, "Let her go!"

He's running forward, ready to catch into a mass of ancient vampires who are blocking his way but he is ready. The leader of the Cullen's dodges them all with ease and determination, launching into the air. Aro jumps as well, both colliding in open sky and dropping together. As they fall to the snowy Grand it is revealed what has occurred, Aro hold's Carlisle's lifeless head in his hands, a small smile to his lips as he gloats to the rest of them and drops his once friends head. Cauis does not hesitate to put fire to the body, rubbing in the newly formed wound.

Esme's silent shriek sends shockwaves through the witnesses, especially the adoptive family. Emmett stumbles into Vi, the hybrid distracted long enough at the pure pain in her mates face to drop her hold on the fire and let the guards through.

She watches as Carlisle's body burns, ashes disappearing into the snow as the seconds tick by and everyone remains still.

And then as if crashing into a tide they all erupt, running headfirst into battle. Edward and Bella are first, practically fuming with every ounce of their will, and shortly behind them everyone else goes. Violet doesn't hesitate, she runs behind Emmett and ahead of Sam who as at her heels. His howl is loud and announces that it was time for battle, the rest of his wolves pushing forward.

Many of them jump into the air, flying over Violets head and attacking the vampires that attempted to get to her. Emmett lifts his fist as one goes to swipe underneath him but instead is met with the powerful vampires fist, face breaking into a pile of dust.

Vi bounces over the body, looking up in time to see one of the leading guards has collided into Emmett and they begin to wrestle, another attacking Sam until soon she is left by herself. Within seconds she realizes this was the plan, her blood is to not be shed much like Alice's and Benjamins, they are trophies.

She doesn't know which to help first, watching as both the people she loves more then her soul seem to be even matched. A pair of arms make the decision for her as she is swing into the ground, rolling a few times into the icy tundra as she rolls onto her back and finds a brunette male standing there. It's Alec, he's dropped the dark cloak and seems unbothered by the anarchy around him as he casually walks around her body.

His face is twisted into pure jealousy, "Aro said we had to capture you, but you would not go willingly."

Vi snarls at him, kicking her leg out so he jumps back and she has enough time to rise to her feet. "I'm gonna enjoy ripping your head clean off your body."

Alec and her smash into one another, his fists fly at her one after another an array of blows that would be lethal enough to break a mountain apart. He misses within centimeters as she is pushed back, seeing the fists before they can ever make contact. Her arm pushes forward, locking within his own so they draw contact and she slams her head into his own. He stumbles back, falling into the ground as Vi feels the skin again her head rip open and then seal within moments but she barely pays mind to it. Alec is already back, managing to get the upper hand and clutches her throats between his palm. He tightens, practically ripping the skin apart as Vi chokes and lifts her into the sky.

Her brother and husband are distracted, not noticing her struggle as Alec smirks, "now you get to watch them all die, without being able to do a thing."

The black swirls out of his palm, pushing into her nostrils and mouth. The sweet smoke infiltrates every open area, until she's practically nothing but a cloud black smoke and Alec seems to think he's one. She's gone limp in his hand, almost entirely until both her hands lock around his forearm.

They burn, catching fire until he can't support it any longer and drops her out of the cloud but Vi refuses to let go. She sucks in cold air, eyes narrowed as her hands are now like blobs of lava between his arm. She looks at his now terrified expression, tilting her head, "elementals are immune, did Aro not tell you that?"

Alec screams into the cold air as his arm falls off, and he attempts to straggles away, anywhere near Jane but Vi catches him. Her hands are still burning when they catch his throat, lips turned into a glorious grin as she pulls him close enough like he'd done her, hand now burning into his trachea and says, "clean off."

Once he's gone she turns, finding Sam having finished off a trio of the guards and now moving onto helping Seth. She decides to let him go off, searching for Emmett next who is struggling with a hoard of them attempting to hold him down, and her feet take off before she can think. She jumps into the air, ripping off two for her to pick off. While they roll and land she turns to Emmett for the briefest of seconds who sends her a grateful smile and returns to crushing the vampires with her bare hands.

Vi, reassured with her husbands abilities, turns back to her set and finds the blonde female already running towards her. She allows the burning sensation to overtake her palms and lifts one into the air, like shooting off a bullet a smile fireball leaves her palm. The ball of pure energy soars through the air, finding the center of the vampires forehead and cleaning bursting straight through it. Like a bullet would do to a human it bursts inside the females brain, leaving her to drop dead.

The next one does not seem fazed by his comrades fall, merely passing by it as he launched into Vi. They fall to the ground, this one smarter then any of the other as he holds her wrists above her head. Vi screams in pure anger, lifting her knees and pushing up to gain some distance. The vampire releases for a moment and Vi loosened one of hands, fire burning straight into its chest and out its back, when she shoves him off, he's dead and burning to a crisp.

She stands, straggling for a few seconds before Benjamins voice is yelling out to her, "Violet!"

She turns, finding him across the tundra, blue eyes motioning towards their losing battle. She see's some of her fellow vampires are failing, many just ready to receive final blows, Emmett included as somehow he is further away from her and being crowded by a hoard once more. Her eyes return to Benjamin, both reading the same, they have to even the odds. The elementals nod at one another, almost in syncs as they pull the sleeves to their right arms up and kneel to the ground. With the worlds force they shove their palms into the ground, rumbling and cracks following shortly after they pull away and the ground begins to open up. A line begin to form from the spot Vi pulled at to Benjamins, the ground pulling apart further and further until theres a newly formed Canyon. Some of the vampires fall into it, those on their side choose to use it as an advantage and push the guards into the bottomless pit. Sam shoves the vampires attempting to kill him right into the embankment.

Emmett, still struggling barely manages to kick one off before they're pulling him closer and closer to the edge. Vi runs over, from the other side of the barrier she yells out, "Emmett!" He turns just in time, nodding his head and pulling himself free long enough for Vi to pull with all the wind strength and take the vampires with it, causing them to tip right over.

He nods at her, turning to help the wolves with their attack. Vi looks around, finding one of the head guards hurling towards her. He's tall, lean and vicious as he doesn't hesitate to slam into her. They roll around the ground, managing to smack around and Vi having to receive enough blows to her ribs to pull strength out of her. This vampire is quick, Felix she thinks she heard Aro yell out to him in the middle of the battle. He's likely to be a talented fighter which is why he easily deflects her hands and manages to land effortless blows to her abdomen, still she perseveres. They roll until they near the edge of the cliff, the heat of the burning lava oozing out into the cold air. Vi screams, feeling her ribs beginning to give way the longer Felix owns the lead and just as she begins to feel like the end is near a large body is there.

Sam yanks Felix off her, lunging across the canyon with the vampire in his mouth. Felix wrestles his way out of Sam's jaws, shoving the wolf a few yards off. Sam whimpers in pain, shakily getting to his feet and attacking Felix who is swift and quick. Felix catches the wolf between his arms, and pushing with everything in his mite.

"Sam!" Vi yells, pushing against the balls of her feet to jump, unfortunately she's caught by a plethora of guards. All of them avoid her hands and instead hold down every other part of her body, making it nearly impossible for her to attack.

It's up to Emmett who turns at the sound of her scream, and he's caught in a split moment decision as the love of his life begins to be dragged away but her brother is losing. He makes the decision to save Sam as he's running, but he is already too late.

The crack of Sam's body rings clearly through the empty tundra, his bright eyes darkening on his sisters face just as the fight in him gives out. He slips out of Felix's arms as if he were dead weight, crumbling to the ground in a heap of nothing. Emmett finally reaches then, with a growl he slams Felix into the ground, foot at his throats and holding one of his hands up he breaks the vampire apart easily but it's all for nothing.

Emmett stares at the empty expression to his brother in law, great wolf now nothing more then a reminder of his failure. He turns to see Vi, to reach for her because he cannot lose her, he has to beg for forgiveness.

Vi has given up, being dragged away as she is slowly enveloped by the black coats she finds Emmett's face and shakes her head, allowing herself one tear. Even though no words can leave her lips she tells him she loves him, she forgives him, and she hopes he can be alright.

As much as her love for Emmett runs deep her brother has died, his child will not have a father growing up and that is simply something she cannot live with. Flashes of her bothers face run through her mind, the countless years they shared together and the promise that he would make it home safe replaying like a reminder of her failure.

All of it bubbles, and bubbles under skin, into her bloodstream and through the vessels of her mind and heart. She feels every demon her powers possess rising and rising to the surface, preparing for something big as more and more vampires surround her. It's like she's pure fire now, burning every emotion and memory away until finally she blows.

She's gone along with every vampire in the nearest vicinity in one volcanic eruption.

Alice pulls away from Aro, showing him a bleak future for his side. "Now you know. That's your future. Unless you decide on another course."

Caius presses forward, unaware of his impending death if they continue. "We cannot alter our course. The child still poses a grave threat."

Edward, who has seen everything happen steps forward and proposes something. "But what if you were sure she could remain concealed from the human world? Could we leave in peace?"

Vi pressed her hand with Emmett's, startled by whatever is happening now. In her mind she wonders what Alice saw, how bad it truly was given Aro's expression and the course her life would have taken. A part of her feels as if it's best that she never know though.

Caius nods to Edwards proposal. "Of course. But that cannot be known."

Edward interruptions him, a knowing smile on his lips, "actually, it can."

Two other witnesses appear from where Alice and Jasper have come, both entirely different then any of them, there's a female and male. The male is tall and beautiful, much like his female counterpart, the word exotic does not even begin to describe them. The animal pelts they wear seem ancient but even so they wear them with pride. Alice meets them, nodding her head at them and then turning back to Aro. "I've been searching for witnesses of my own among the Ticuna tribes of Brazil."

Cauis seems frustrated beyond words at this point because he spits out, "we have enough witnesses."

Aro silences him, "Let him speak, brother."

The male stands tall as he speaks, "I am half human, half vampire. Like the child. A vampire seduced my mother, who died giving birth to me. My aunt Huilen raised me as her own. I made her immortal."

Vi and everyone else seem stunned at this revelation, so much they completely forgot his beating heart was identical to Renesme's. Bella is the first to react as she steps forward. "How old are you?"

The man turns back and answers, "a hundred and fifty years."

Aro questions him next. "At what age did you reach maturity?"

"I became full-grown seven years after my birth. I have not changed since then."

"And your diet?"

"Blood, human food. I can survive on either."

The third leaders has remained silent up to this point when he comments, "these children are much like us."

Cauis does not seem to care as he nears Aro. "Regardless, the Cullens have been consorting with werewolves. Our natural enemies."

Aro turns back to his army, ignoring anything Cauis says now as he addresses them all. "Dear ones, there is no danger here. We will not fight today." And like that they all seem to agree; although some are more reluctant then other's their hoodies are lifted back up and they turn away, swiftly out of eyesight. It is Aro who is only left to turn and look around the crowd at each of the prizes he had lost. "Such a prize."

He's gone before the winds howl is over.

The silence is overwhelming as the Cullen army soak in that their lives have been spared and they'd won this battle. The Volturi had now prevailed.

They'd actually lived.

For a minute they all continue to stay still, some more for assurance then utter shock but then a cheer comes off them all and they are celebrating.

Emmett turns to Vi, picking her up and swinging her around as he kisses the tip of her nose, both cheekbones, the center of her forehead, and finally brings her into a passionate kiss. They melt into it, smiling despite their desire until finally Vi needs air and he sets her down.

Vi drops to the ground, throwing her arms over Sam's wolf head in pure laughter as he lifts a paw and gently massages her shoulder. She continues to laugh, smile widening as her best fills with warmth and more wolves crowd her. She hugs them all, or as many she can, yelling, "we did it! We're fucking alive!"

The wolves crowd her until she stands, and even then some still tap their nose to her hip as if to congratulate. Emmett is let into her crowd, pulling out the ring from his pockets.

He grasps her hand, eyeing Sam who huffs in approval. The wolves take a step back, watching as the couple place rings back onto each other's fingers, Vi shaking with so much excitement that she fails two times before finally able too.

Emmett looks over her face, tears surprisingly falling  as she continues to smile like the high of it all could never wear off. With the lad of his thumbs he dries the tears, smiling at her and saying, "we've got eternity now Vi, what do you want to do?"

"Everything, everything and more." She answers and launches herself into his arms, once more kissing his lips as the wolfs howl around them. Pure bliss was her only thought, a sweet ending to her bitter beginning, just her and Emmett.

The newlyweds, always and forever eternal now.
