Book two is completed!

And it needs a ton of editing!! :dies:

Because of how my mind works (it doesn't) I wrote most of book three and a half before I even started on this one. I'd somehow convinced myself that I didn't need a bridge to explain Fora's exile, but I'm glad that this works. 

the structure as more Aymi, Kolen, Taasen, and finally Fora's stories is s till something I'm iffy about, I initially had the first three spread out through each other with Fora's at the end, but I figured this way might be more reader-friendly. Let me know what you think of both options because in further edits I may reorder some of them.

Anyway, book 3 will start coming out soon, I'm sure it's perfectly decent as far as books go, but it's been a while now since I wrote it, so I actually don't remember! At this point my goal is to get it all up before I write any more on this. Hopefully I'll get the whole thing edited at some point so it makes more sense to my poor poor readers (reference my tendency to: "oh, and then this really cool thing happened, but I'm not explaining it the right way so you don't actually know what's going on >:D")

Back in November, I finally got my mission call, so I'll be out of the picture writing wise for a year and a half starting on March 3rd 2025. (a google forms link is in the comments if you want to sign up for getting my mission emails while that's going on)

Fortunately, I've been planning this for a while, and my writing backlog is definitely big enough to keep posting at about the same pace that entire time. Unfortunately, Wattpad doesn't allow people to schedule chapters more than a year in advance... so if it stops posting things after March 3rd 2026, I promise I'm not dead, that just means I couldn't get someone to publish them manually for me, lol.

Fortunately, Royal Road doesn't have the 'only a year in advance' issue, and I've already scheduled everything over there. So if my posting drops off the map at a bad point in the story, go ahead and migrate there!

Other things I'm working on right now: 

- Editing/polishing Broken of the Stars so I can start posting that right after #3 during the year and a half of silence. This is probably the coolest finished story I have in my pocket at the moment :P

- A Colineum short story collection, but this is sort of on the back burner because I keep doing what I did with Erane and putting the short stories into bigger stories... I started with like seven stories and they've dwindled down to two, XD

- Writing Born of Blood, a rewrite of TMoS that wanted to be a rebellious teenager so hard that it disowned it's parents (TVW and ADV) and became it's own thing entirely. (Hopefully I'll be done with this before march so I don't have to take such a long break from it, fingers crossed, but I'm super excited about it!)

Statistics:

- This is my fifth completed story (third if you don't count fanfiction)
- 67,353 words on a google document, 230 pages 1.5 spacing with weird paragraph breaks. (shorter than book 1, but not by too much)
- posting time May 4th, 2024 - January 25th, 2025
