Blake slowly opens his eyes; as he expected, he had fallen asleep at some point. The redhead blinks, and rubs his eyes. "Uggh, what time is it?" He groans, glancing at a green digital watch. His eyes were still heavy with sleep, but he could see that it was about 10:30. Wait a minute...
He doesn't have a watch!

The male's red eyes widen comically, as the realization dawns on him. His eyes slowly travel up, to the face of the owner of the green watch: Brute! The girl had fallen asleep as well. A serene look on her features, her breath steady. This was definitely the most peaceful he's ever seen her.
Suddenly, he realized another thing; his head was on her shoulder.

His face flushes instantly, and he quickly shuffles away. Although he tried his best to be quiet and discreet, it was evidently not enough; the ravenette stirs in her nap, then opens her forest-green eyes. She lazily glances at the male through the corner of her eye, whom in turn flinches. "Oh! S-sorry! Did I w-wake you?" He chuckles nervously, scratching the back of his neck. Brute shrugs. "I'm a light-sleeper." She replies simply. "Oh, okay...?" Blake mumbles. His eyes looking anywhere but at her. "Are you...alright?" The ravennete questions suddenly. Her green eyes bored into the male's red ones. "Do you..." She starts.

She leans forward, closing the distance between them. A serious look on her face. She gently places her hand on the redhead's face. "...Have a fever?" She asks, face scrunching up with worry. Blake's face flushes bright vermillion, his eyes widening. With a nervous grin, the boy frantically shakes his head. "Oh! N-no, no! I'm okay; never better!" He exclaims, taking a step back. Unfortunely, his foot got stuck on a tree root or something. Whatever it was, it caused the male to lose his footing. "Ahh!" He shouts, waving his arms to try to keep his balance; it doesn't work.

Instintively, he reaches out to grab something. That something was Brute's jacket. The girl's eyes widen in shock. And since she was so surprised, she was pulled down as well. The two tumble down the grassy slope. When they came to a stop, Blake slowly opens his ruby eyes. And, what he saw caused his whole face--until the tips of his ears--to turn the same hue as his eyes. Brute hovers over the smaller male; one hand besides the redhead, the other rubbing her own head. "B-Bru-te! C-can you ge-get off m-me?" The male stutters horribly. The ravennete stares at him for a moment, then nods.

The female stands up and walks away. Blake hurriedly sits up. "W-wait! I didn't mean..." He says, but Brute was already out of ear-shot. The redhead looks down. 'Did I say something wrong?' He thinks. To his surprise, the ravennete came back. But before he could say anything, the girl places a freezing cold cloth over his forehead--sending a chill down the male's spine. He lightly pushes the girl's hand away, and gives her a quizzical look; to which the ravennete returns. "Why di--" Blake starts, before getting cut off. "You have a fever, don't you." Brute points out, not a question.

"W-what? No! Why'd you think that?" He asks, confused. As if not believing him (which is technically true), Brute scans him dubiously. "You're face was red and you were stuttering." She explains, primly. "Where'd you get the water?" He asks, changing the topic. Brute raises a brow. "Don't change the subject." She crosses her arms. Blake chuckles ruefully, shaking his head. "No, seriously. Where did you get the water?" He repeats. For a moment, the ravennete simply stares at him, silently regarding the male; finally she sighs, and motions the boy to follow.

Blake quickly stands up, and scurries after the ravennete. "Oh, and I guess, I should thank you." The boy pipes up, after a long moment of silent walking. Brute, whom was ahead of him, turned around. Her green eyes watching him intently. Then she faces forward, and marches ahead. "For what?" She questions. The male plays with his fingers, looking at anything, and everything. "For your concern." He adds. Suddenly, the girl stops--causing the male to bump into her. "S-sorry!" He exclaims, taking a step back. He slowly looks up the ravennete.

A complex series of emotions plays on her features; confusion, annoyance, irritation, (mild) worry, but also uncertainty. "Your wellbeing is not my concern." She says at last. She didn't look like she was serious, neither did she look joking. Perhaps, just maybe, she was just trying to convince herself?
Brute looks away, and starts walking again. "At least, that's how it should be..." She mutters lowly. Blake's eyes widen once more--by this point, he's astonished they haven't pop out of their sockets yet. Snapping out of it, he jogs after the girl.

After a few more minutes of walking, the redhead groans. "How much further?" He laments, impatient. Brute turned around to face the male, and gestures behind her. "We're here." She announces. Without waiting for his reaction, she spins on her heel and walks away. Blake hurries to catch up. "W-wait! Don't y--WOOW!!!" He exclaims, eyes taking in the scene before him. There was a beautiful pond in the middle of the clearing, reflecting the stars above.

Blake's crimson eyes glimmered. He skips around the pond staring in awe, like a kid in a candy store. Brute leans against a tree, chuckling at the smaller boy's antics. "You and her really are alike." The ravennete points out. Blake stops in his tracks, looking at the girl quizically. "Who?" She just smirks at his obliviousness. "You and Berserk." She replies. Blake narrows his eyes, blushing slightly. "Don't compare me with her!" He fumes, angry but also flustered. Brute growls. "I meant that as a compliment; and don't you dare look down on my sister!" The ravennete warns fiercely.

Blake flinches but nods. He may not like being compared to Berserk, but he admits they have some traits in common. He also understood why Brute got angry; despite not being overly affectionate--unlike their leader--it's obvious both Brat and Brute love each other, as well as their leader. Blake plops down near the lake.
"You know, you aren't as heartless as they say you are." Blake states. The girl raises a brow. "Is that mockery, or complimentary?" She questions. "The second one." He replies, raising two fingers for emphasis.

Finally, she chuckles ruefully. "I know at least one person who'd disagree." She shakes her head. "Really? Who?" Blake looks at her, curious. Brute clicks her toungue. "My ex." She answers. "Come again?" Blake stares at her, eyes dilating. "My ex." The girl repeats. "They said, 'You're so heartless!' to me." She continues, shrugging. "Why?" Blake turning his head to look at her. The ravennete crosses her arms and looks away. "I've never been good with emotions, or do I care about others' feelings; I just do, what I want to."

"But, apparently, my ex thought that, just because we went on one date meant I liked them. I never even said that. They just jumped to the wrong conclusions." She adds. Blake looks at her then lets out a breath, before looking up. "What happened?" He asked. She inhales deeply, shoulder rising then sagging as a heavy breath leaves her. "I'll tell you; but, don't tell anyone else." She states. Blake nods.
"It was about 5 years ago..."

Flashback--5 years ago...

"Baramatsu-sama, would y-you like to g-go out? With m-me?" A soft voice stuttered. The 11-year-old Kasumi glanced at the person. She wasn't sure whether it was a guy or girl--not that Brute really cares. They had long mint green hair and golden eyes, obviously a wig and contacts. Brute never liked people who faked, whether it's their personality or appearance. But, she herself has no right to judge.

"Sure." The ravennete shruged. The person looked up at her, shocked. Then a bright smile creeped into their face, their golden contacts shining. They bowed deeply. "A-arigato! D-dōmo ariga-tōgozaimashita!" They pratically squeled. Brute simply nod in acknowledgement, then heads off to her next class.

After the date...

'This person...' Brute thought, glancing at the green-haired person besides her. '...is weird.' She concluded. The two went to an amusement park. It was--for lack of a better word, intresting. The golden-eyed person was afraid of a majority of the good attractions; the haunted house, the roller coasters and well, a lot actually. At first, Brute thought it was just an act to get close or something--like when they'd get scared or surprised, they would cling onto the ravennete. (it's a real cliche)

But, when Brute stared into their golden eyes, she could only see genuine fear in them. Odd, how could someone like them even fall for someone like her? They were opposites in almost everyway imaginable. They seem to be a better match for that Shou boy more than her. 'Shou...' Brute's focus slipped away. Would he be alright if she started to date someone? He once confessed that he thought of Kasumi just like how she thought of him--as siblings.

Kasumi's always been there to protect him, even spoil the boy. Despite Brute's cold and distant persona, the little ravennete seem to genuinely care and love her. So the least she could do in return to repay him, is by being there for him; protecting him, as well as loving him the way he loves her.

"Uhh, B-Bara-matsu-sama..." A tiny voice called out, breaking the ravennete's train of thought. Brute glanced her companion, puzzled. The person tucked a lock of pale green hair behind their ear, her hand tugging at Brute's sleeve. "I-I had a good ti-time. Thank y-you." They smiled bashfully. "And, th-anks for liking m-me; and b-being my g-girlfriend." They added, brushing their long hair out of their face.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Brute scowled. The person's golden hued eyes widen. "What...do you mean?" They whimpered. The ravennete fully turned to look at the smaller person. "When did I ever said, I want to be your girlfriend? When did I said, I ever liked you?" The tall girl questioned. The other person took a step back, their heart clenching tightly in their chest.

"I barely know you. I considered today merely as us 'hanging out', not a date. Besides--even if it was one--one date doesn't make us a couple." Kasumi place her hands on her hips. "Y-you...are so cruel!" They shout at her. Kasumi simply raised a brow. She leaned down to look at them. "Me, cruel? Yes, I am. But, so are you." She stated. Again, the person took another step back, swallowing thickly.

"Without asking for my consent, you labeled me as your 'significant other'. Did you even consider my opinion? No; and, I would never be with you, who is so naive." She finished. The other person looked at her despondently, as tears streamed down their face. Suddenly, they slapped Kasumi--which didn't do much, but still. As tears streamed down their face, they yelled:

"YOU'RE SO HEARTLESS!!!"

And ran away.

Present time...

"I just told them the truth; then they slapped me." She deadpans. Blake blinks. 'I feel like there's more to the story than just her 'telling the truth'.' The redhead thought. But, decided not to push for too much. Blake closes his eyes, enjoying the serenity of the forest.

A few moments of comfortable silence pass. "Can I ask you another thing?" Brute questions. The male opens one eye, then nods. "Why..." She pauses, thinking how to word her sentence. "...do you do, what you do?" She asks. The redhead opens both eyes. "Excuse me?" He tilts his head, confused.

"I mean; why are you a hero? It's not like you get anything from it? And you're not even apprieciated." She explains, patiently. Blake's eyes widen, then he looks away, pouting. "And you don't even do a good job of it." She adds. The redhead huffs and lays back in the grass. 'You don't have to rub it in...' He sighs. He glances at the girl, but her eyes tell him that she's not trying to be mean--she's just...blunt.
"Well..." The redhead starts, placing his hands behind his head. His eyes shift to look at the night sky. They aren't many stars tonight...

"Well, let's say everyone is throwing trash everywhere; but then one elderly man picks up all the trash and throws them into garbage cans. Is what he's doing wrong?" Blake inquires, scanning the girl's expression. She raises a brow. "Of course the old man is in the right. Littering is wrong." She states primly. "Even if everyone's doing it?" Blake adds, looking at her. She simply nods. With a smile, the redhead turns to gaze at the stars once again. "Then, you have your answer. Just because everyone's doing it, doesn't make it right; and just because no one's doing it, doesn't mean it's wrong." He grins. He raises his hand, as if trying to grab the stars.

Then he leaps to his feat. He points to the ravennete, a fierce and determined expression on his face.

"Even if we fail, even if we aren't perfect, even if no one believes in us; that doesn't mean we should stop helping others. Cause in the end, me and my brothers are heroes. And one day, we'll defeat you Punks!" He grins, confidence radiating from him. His usual brovado back in place.
Brute stares at him for a moment, then smirks. She slinks to stand in front of the Right. "We'll see. But we won't make it easy for you, just cause your boys." Blake crosses his arms. "Good! We wouldn't have it any other way! And, don't underestimate us!" He replies.

Brute ruffles the redhead's hair. "Alright then. You and your brothers train; train and become strong. Then me and my sisters will defeat you." The ravennete says. Blake puts out his fist. "It's a promise then! The Rights will keep getting stronger; and one day, we'll defeat you Punks!" Brute scans his face closely. He was back to his usual self; the confident optimistic leader. The ravennete bumps her fist with his. "And, me and my sisters will also grow stronger. Just so you know, we won't be holding back."

"Perfect!" Blake grins broadly. Brute chuckles, shoving her hand into her pockets. "Oh, and here's a little warning: You Rights better not lose to anyone, except us!" The girl smirks, gesturing to herself. Blake nods. Both the supers announce in unison.

"It's a promise!"

Finally! I finished this!
Oh, and sorry there's no song in this one.

So, now what's left it Bash's and Berserk's--in that order.

So far this is the shortest chapters (about their problems)
