I Truly Fell

My heart was blue as the sky

Until the day you walked by

I fell into a hole so deep

A broken arm was mine to keep

Yet then I knew you were the one

My world at once came undone

I could barely get air into my lungs

Instead of speaking I bit my tongue

So I decided to write what I would tell

Yet when I sat; I truly fell

My words have been so hard to find

But what I mean is 'Will you be mine?'
